18 years, 2 months, and 19 days. Yesterday we put my soulmate pet Daisy to sleep, after her kidney disease became too much for her sweet soul to fight anymore. The one constant, there with me for most of my life, suddenly gone. I know she’s across the rainbow bridge with the other pets and people we’ve loved and lost, but this HURTS. And I couldn’t even be there to hold her when she passed, because I’m halfway across the country 😔 was there for her first breaths but had to watch her take her last over FaceTime. Rest easy, sweet angel 💔🥺😞🌸
