I feel like Music Meister really isn't used enough in the media, considering all the storylines I can imagine for him. If people really can't find space for a silver age style music themed crook, let me give you all some ideas that just came to me:

The Music Meister tries to force other criminals to form a musical band with him. When they refuse, he petulantly starts ruining all of their crimes and framing batman. Batman isn't even involved in this story, it's just the music meister trying to punish the other crooks for not joining him in his quest for stardom.

Music Meister kidnaps a theatre troupe and forces them to perform his semi-autobiographical musical. Batman tries to stop him, but everything seems legal. Just what shady dealings did the meister cook up for this scheme, and why are the valuables of all his audience members vanishing?

The Music Meister learns that music class was removed from schools in gotham. Deeply offended, he begins plotting schemes designed to educate gothamites on music history. Jazz, Rap, Orchestral, Folk, and more all get covered as the meister commits petty crime and simultaneously inspires kids everywhere to go into music and follow their dreams.

The Music Meister teams up with Clayface and begins producing a new movie, a musical all about arkham. Told in a mockumentary style, we follow clayface and the meister as they try to produce "Arkham: The Musical!" Everything goes horribly wrong, largely because almost none of the other prisoners want to be involved.

See? Four clear and distinct ideas, all thought up within the last 30 or 40 minutes. The Music Meister needs way more exposure, and he needs it now.

So in THIS post I mentioned my idea that Ingo wound up in Hisui after he "died" doing something heroic. Probably evactuating people or helping deal with whatever it was that got him in Hisui in the first place. Thus resulting him being presumed dead and post-humously being declared a hero. Maybe complete with a statue or something.

Regardless the implications this has for the characters is fun to speculate on.

Like, there have already been takes where Emmet, for example, goes on to become an elite 4 member, or champion, or otherwise continuing to become a better and better trainer. Now imagine if that was somewhat fueled by a personal desire to live up to Ingo's memory and continue to protect the city/region that Ingo "died" to protect?

Or, going into the complete opposite direction, what if Emmet falls apart explicitly BECAUSE of all the hero talk? Hearing everyone speaking of Ingo in the past tense before the funerals even happened or a bodys been found, might upset him greatly. Perfect strangers speak familiarly of Ingo as this bolstered up hero figure in their mind, rather than as Emmets loud rather dorky brother. There could also be an external pressure to move on before he's even close to being ready resulting in Emmets grief getting worse.

Just some ideas on that front.

Strangely I like the idea of time-space distortions and rifts returning with Ingo. Partially to have an excuse to bring more of the Hisui characters into Unova, and also because I like the idea of the returning "hero" seemingly bringing the problem back with him. Imagine if some of the same people who called him a hero starting being against him out of fear of what was going on.

The doubling of tribute numbers. The miscarried Abernathy twins. The Donner sisters who Haymitch carries a fascination for as consequence. Louella being replaced by Lou Lou, a name that only mimics the first half of her name, and a girl who matches her in appearance only. Tam Amber’s set of pins, one dropped down a well, the other discarded. The two versions of the games: the one that Haymitch remembers and the edited, falsified version of them without the real content. The two bags of gumdrops. The fraternal affection he feels for Louella and Lou Lou, the artificial twins, and Maysilee’s offer to be his sister—the second one she gives in the book. A bond with a real twin, both pairs healing the sisters he never did know. The split between what is natural and what is manufactured or forged, bonds that that grow on their own, or are forced into existance. And if the distinction makes any difference to the person it impacts.

So. All this to tell the idea "shimmer is used as a medicine that helps patients in critical condition to survive their surgeries". It's very regulated and Silco's ass is in the line if anyone abuses shimmer.

I also wanted to tie some scenes/lines etc from season 1 to the Alternative Universe. And make Silco a bit more, well, Silco but with the AU vibe. I am also not letting Singed go, he is gonna be helping Silco and getting something in return. Maybe the kids are gonna try to build Orianna her body. Also, whatever the universe, Singed will burn his face. No timeline will save him. He is just like that.

my top bit of advice going into the new year: compliment people. especially strangers. literally everyone you interact with if you can. when you buy coffee in the morning compliment the barista's tattoos. when you're chatting with a coworker tell them that by the way you like their outfit. always find something they've chosen to do on purpose. nail polish, jewellery, tattoos, hair colour/style, statement accessory, outfit, etc are all good bets. things people hope will be noticed. things that aren't too personal so it doesn't make them uncomfortable (eg probably not their physical features). i've gotten into the habit of scanning everyone i talk to for something about them that i think is cool so i can tell them. it's a great habit because it makes me notice people and realise just how many neat little details there are in people's presentation of themselves that might pass me by if i wasn't paying attention. and it brings out so much joy. you'd be surprised how much it disarms people to receive an unexpected compliment from someone they don't know. it is the most sincere smile you will see all day long. it feels nice to make people happy but it also means you win the social interaction. establish dominance by complimenting a stranger's earrings and disappearing into the fog
