If you could have a storyline for chai what would it be ?

lita uses the mafia as flavoring for Phayu and Prapai, seemingly with the intent of more sexy, more dangerous, and/or more alluring. which is ridiculous. mafias don't exist in dramas to make the characters sexy. mafias exist in dramas to give pretty boys trauma and make my faves cry.

i think lita writers intended for the semi-legal street racing to be hot, but what i see is Pakin's recruiting grounds. just look at the rules: no violence allowed, bet anything from money to people, don't. tell. anyone.

no violence...enforced by violence and threats of death

bet anything from money to people -> what will you risk, what do you value, how do you treat your 'possessions'

don't tell anyone -> the most important and most obvious rule. why would Pakin give a shit about anyone knowing? the races are an open secret. he shuts down highways. this rule exists so that he knows who might be capable of keeping his other secrets.

the street races are designed to attract reckless young men who come from families with money, influence, and power. they give Pakin not only a lot of information on who might be useful to him later, but also leverage. any consequences from illegal street racing is unlikely to stick to these boys--which is why they think they're safe. but now Pakin not only knows a lot more dirt on them than they do him, but he's also the person they call when they're in trouble (see Phayu, see Prapai)

and Chai's his right hand man. he's the face of the races.

now, there are a lot of character quirks about Chai that i immensely enjoy. as i said in a previous post, the fact that his wardrobe includes zebra print shirts delights me endlessly. him trying to keep his customer service voice in place when the guy calls him a lackey is hilarious. when Rain ordered the mafia men to wait so that he could get a few kicks in on his kidnapper, my first reaction was to text tortoise "Phayu is Pakin's favorite, but Rain is Chai's." and i do think Chai genuinely likes both of them, and i like the idea of Rain sometimes chilling with Chai during the races.

i just don't think it will be enough.

Pakin got two big fish during lita canon--he sort of already had Phayu, given that Phayu works on his bikes and organizes his races, but now Phayu owes him a favor for his men scaring off Rain's kidnapper. and then there's the even bigger fish Prapai, who's the heir to an international corporation, filthy rich, and has shown discretion, loyalty, and drive as one of the top racers--and now owes Pakin a favor and can be threatened with conspiracy for murder. Pakin doesn't care about these two staying around in his races as much as he cares about the fact that he has a hold over them now. one of the main faces holding that power over them will be Chai, and Chai will always be Pakin's man first, Phayu and Rain's friend second.

these boys need to find a way to get away from the races and all these mafia men stat.

Note: this was really fun to write, and get away from school stress for a bit, i looooove you all

Tighnari

it would out in the forest(he made sure there was no fungi or anything to disturb u)

he would show you some really pretty flowers or mushrooms if you wanted(tho he wont make it similar to a lecture, only a little)

he maybe spaced out while looking at you, not his fault your so pretty, but gave a(n) (almost) shy apology after.

definitely picked flowers with you so you could have a fresh bouquet with the prettiest flowers you could find(he made sure none of them were deadly, or bad for you to be around)

you were given permission to pet his ears for a little after he caugt you looking at them for a little too long

^^he also let you cuddle his tail if you were cold(but he wont look at you since he doesn't want you to see how red he is)

overall a pretty good first date, if he could say so himself

Heizou

would talk non-stop about some cases he recently solved, wanting to impress you, even though you already are

took you to some fried food stalls around Inazuma city, ritou if you can handle the walk(ik i can´t)

he wanted to take you to do some puzzles with him, but figured he should make it more classic or romantic for your first date

^^maybe next time he´ll take you out to try and solve those puzzles

he got you your favorite flowers(if you like flowers) or a pot he tried to make for you, with the help of his family (which is very happy he wanted to make something, but didn't know he only put effort in bc it was for you)

kano, his cousin, and kujou sara also helped him actually ask you out, because at that point it was getting painful to watch him swoon over you every day

Wanderer

he didn´t even really agree with where he took you, Nahida just told him where to take you after she found out he (finally) asked you out

so he ended up taking you out somewhere in Sumeru city

(but maybe he also ended up leading you out of the city when people were got a little too loud and irritating for his liking)

didnt get you anything, as he didnt think he needed to, but the fact that his attitude was almost not there (when talking to you) was maybe a gift in itself

Nahida was so excited for your date, she may have borrowed someone's body for a while (at least 5-8 hours) and watched you

wanderer definitely noticed her presence, and tried getting away from her to get some complete alone time with you

^^when he finally succeeded you ended up falling on him, so he awkwardly let you sleep on his lap/shoulder while stroking your hair and getting lost in your beauty

Kazuha

your first date was probably on the crux, or wandering around in some nation (either his homeland or yours if you wanted, but that could always be another time)

the activities he had in mind would be fishing, making food together(or baking), sharing his haikus and poems (and helping you make some if you wanted)

^^i had too many ideas to put in here, sorry

but he would stroke your hair as you lay beside him and mutter his recent love poems, just for you

for the food you made, it would be something like fried/baked fish, hashbrowns... anything you knew how to make(basically), and sweets like dango or cake from your homeland

beidou and the crux may or may not have been following you, just for a little

^^she needed something to tell ningguang, as she was also invested in your relationship, and silently cheered on

Sometimes when no one's around, he talks to her grave, and about what's going on in his life and that he's okay.

Whenever he ever tries to harm himself he feels something stop him. something that makes him say, "Man, what am I doing." sometimes he envisions Kanae's figure approaching him and grabbing the knife from his hands saying, "There's no need."

Sometimes when he's feeling down he'll just remember that she's in a much better place. One free from all the horrors of their world.

She had a feeling she may not come back from the mission to kill Douma, so i like to think that before she left, she wrote letters for Shinobu, Sanemi, Kanao, and whoever else was important to her. The letter for Sanemi would go something like:

Dear Sanemi,

If you’re reading this, I must not have survived the attack against Douma. But please don’t be sad.. I lived a good life. 

I want to thank you for loving me as much as you did. It’s true. I’ve known the whole time, and regret not letting you know sooner. That day that I tended to your wound at the mansion. I gave my little sister, Kanao, a special coin. This coin has been passed down through the generations of our family. I flipped the coin to the opposite side and said to her, “When you fall in love with some boy someday, you’ll change, too, Kanao.” I should have told you, I shouldn’t have been so cautious, but it’s too late. So please live a good life. For me. Try to refrain from crying or becoming depressed. Death is just a part of life, after all. Cherish my memory instead. Hophie Headcanons

Starting With the Events AFTER One True King

now ik that in book 6 Sophie felt that being Dean of evil was unimportant to her, but I'd like to think that now that she's dating Hort and she's accepting his love for her that the two took a 6-month 'honeymoon' (not really one Sophie just wanted to do something with Hort for them to bond as lovers) before one day they burst into the school demanding for their jobs back.

Also on their vacation Sophie helped Hort cope and heal with the fact that he is no longer part man-wolf and they started doing workout routines together (Something Hort wanted to do so he could be strong and protect Sophie) and beauty routines (something Sophie wanted to do because she wants them looking young and evil forever)

Also Hort helped Sophie because she had a lot of nightmares about his 'death'

And because they have their old jobs back they're menaces to the students (I love Hort's snarky comments he always made throughout the series and I NEED that)

They have matching pajamas

Sophie got Hort frog pj's for his 17th birthday (he almost cried)

Sophie always asks for Hort's opinion on her outfits for each day

They always eat meals together, even if one is working late the other will bring the lunch/dinner to their office and they'll eat and talk for hours

Usually if they get into fights Hort is the first to apologize (even if it wasn't his fault) but sometimes Sophie will apologize and make him a cake

Hort writes bad poetry but Sophie secretly loves it

A lot of Hort's students flirt with Hort even though they know he's with Sophie and she gets jealous of it (this starts one of the fights that Sophie apologizes first)

Hort started to open up more to Sophie about his family and she sometimes talks about hers too

every year when they do Secret Santa's with their friends (Hester, Anadil, William, Bogden, Tedros, Agatha, Beatrix, Kiko) they always cheat to make sure that they get each other for Secret Santa's and always act surprised when they give each other the gifts (their friends are always suspicious of them)

Hort writes Sophie bad poetry that she pretends to hate but secretly loves

They go to balls as often as they could

Hort always makes Sophie her favourite breakfast in the mornings and she always makes his lunch, even if she does burn it sometimes, he still eats it

When Tagatha had children they were made the godparents

that also got Hort and Sophie thinking about kids

they send each other letters each class to tell the other how much they miss each other (their students are either disgusted or find it cute)

Sophie is a terrible singer, and Hort knows it, but he still loves hearing her sing

Hort will leave Sophie flowers in her office every morning and it will always be her favourite (roses)

Some people still pick on Hort (especially the other teachers) and Sophie will always stand up for him

a lot of the teachers HATE Sophie's changes to the Evil school (which she had to redo after they took down her ideas but now they're a little less Sophie) and try to argue with her about it but Hort stands up for her and is always supportive of the ideas

Sometimes they'll cuddle for hours and not say anything and that's all they need

Hort proposed to Sophie when they turned 18 (it wasn't easy either there was so many interruptions)

Nicky calling Q bambino absolutely undoes me ahhhh 🥺🥺 and Q being the baby of the group is so funny!! When I was first thinking about it I headcannoned that Q was older than booker by a couple decades but honestly I think that just makes Q being solidly the kid of the group even funnier. Q, hasn’t been the newest member of the guard for 250+ years, dead eye staring as Booker (50 years younger than him) and Nile (literal 20-something-year-old), both skip mostly past baby treatment while Andy still calls him kiddo all the time.

Broooo and Bond seeing Q killed in front of him?? Maybe as a result of his actions??? Like. The guilt!! The angst!! The pain!! *chefs kiss* lovely absolutely lovely. And him being left alone to stew with the body?!?? Just him struggling to compartmentalize enough to do his job, kind of going into shock, wondering why the hell Q dying hurts as much as it does. Just Bond having his “oh” moment only after Q dies. Realizing he loved the snarky little bugger that kept him alive and guided him and helped him hide from medical and M. And then realizing that he can’t do anything about those feelings because Q is dead and it’s his fault. Only to have Q come back to life in front of his eyes.

I have this one scene in my head right now where MI6 has to work with the CIA for some reason and Copley is there as a favor for one of his former coworkers or smthn. And the entire time the man is completely unsubtle like. The opposite of subtlety, keeps glancing over at Q with wide eyes and Q’s dying inside. He’s developing an eye twitch and every time Copley looks at him M and R look at Q like “what’s going on rn” and Q’s like “I never should’ve okayed working with this man”. The two double O agents of your choice guarding the door are simultaneously staring a hole in the side of Q’s head and texting the double O groupchat about the situation.

Also you’re so right about Nile and Q bonding over art!! Ahhh I’m just imagining she takes a day trip to come visit him in London and they go to a bunch of museums and just chat. She calls him old man as a joke and he’s so used to being babied that he secretly loves it. And ik London is MI5 jurisdiction but I think it would be so funny if Nile, Q, and Bond get caught up in some kind of plot and have to save the day. Even better if this is Bond’s first time meeting any of the old guard members in person. Just Nile meeting Bond for the first time, giving him a once over and looking at Q and calling him a cradle robber. And Q is standing there having flashbacks to Bond saying that exact same thing while James is keeled over, laughing so hard he’s crying for the first time in decades. Nile just crosses her arms and is like “I said what I said”. NILE AND MONEYPENNY BONDING HDNDNDNDNDN. The two of them bonding 100 percent gives Q a headache.

And just. Q’s stuck in the UK because of his job, but he’s still part of the guard! Andy and him face timing to give updates, Joe and Nicky constantly texting him everyday, Nile calling him to tell him about whatever stupid shit is going on at the moment. When everything with Quynh gets sorted out I bet she and him constantly call too!! And him and Booker being tech bros!! And ofc they visit him pretty often, popping in and out of the country sometimes all together sometimes one at a time. Just being family y’know?

yesss it doesn't matter how old you headcanon Q as (personally i'm thinking after booker, think robert frobisher vibes), he is still baby. he used to scoff at it but he has to admit he misses it whenever he has to go back to london. eve's teasing makes up for it a little bit.

oh after bond finally finds out and they're Talking About It, he kind of feels relieved. at least he doesn't have to worry about Q dying anymore, right? but then bond learns about quynh, and then about merrick (Q deeply regrets not being able to fish them out of that one, he did clean up after them though), and about things worse than death

and then Q tells him oh so gently that no, he could still die. one day he will stop healing and it will be his time, and it's going to be okay, james, we all have to make peace with our mortality. and maybe the reminder of Q's mortality again is what finally kicks bond into Doing Something about this thing he has for Q

after the whole merrick debacle, Q not being in on the punishment to exclude booker offers him comfort and a place to stay. booker rejects the former but accepts the latter. Q always has a hand out and simply waits for booker to reach back.

Q maintaining a separate network of safehouses for his fam because he is still 50-50 on trusting copley. nile asks him if he has a stash similar to andy's cave. the next time they're in america, Q directs them to stay at his little townhouse in boston where she finds a couple of lost rembrandts and vermeers casually hanging in the bedrooms.

the second time bond witnesses Q die is when they're all drunk off their asses and joe dares him to jump into a pool from the third floor balcony. it's a large pool. Q misses. he revives laughing.

Some things abt monster high (2022) ships!

Draculaura x Lagoona

This ship made some sense to me after the episode w who gets voted head fearleader. They really seem to at least, connect with each other. And hinted at a bit in over bro tective. Probably my second favorite mh ship. However I believe the movie episode makes Lagoona x Gill seem like it could become canon however they have literally never interacted onscreen yet. Lagoona has two hands too so. Honorable mention to Twyla x Lagoona bc of the movie episode although as an nd person it came off more like nd solidarity. I relate Lagoona's 'chomps' to some aspects of my bpd and Twyla is of course canonically autistic. But also as a ship I think it could work, as literally nd4nd is so real.

Draculaura x Manny Taur

This is one of those one-sided rivalry turned study buddies turned ship things, I don't think I ship it a lot but it seems plausible except that Manny seems to be more a side character. The kind of ship that would probably happen irl and be relatively stable. The episode where Clawd first appears was when I felt this seemed to show up.

Draculaura x Clawd

This. Like. Tbh I feel Draculaura didn't exactly show kindness towards Clawd due to being worried about her vampirism in that ep. But the resolution of the conflict in this ep kind of made me realise that they may actually be hinting at this ship in canon(maybe a call back to older versions of mh) although I did not expect that

For what it's worth I don't really know if I see Draculaura as into any of these characters romantically. Maybe bc she always seems more focused on other things but. Also I feel that makes her come off as a character whos either into multiple people or not into anyone, also gives room for an aro or arospec interpretation but.

I feel that could be true of Clawdeen and Clawd as well, tbh those three just. Don't seem all that invested in romance or interested in others that way. I also think Twyla and Draculaura(more so movie version than show tho) and Torelei (yeah ik shes like. mean but Im apl and literally not my fault half the apl coded characters r villains or bullies) also come off as aplatonic or aplspec coded.

Frankie x Cleo

This. Probably my mh otp. Horoscare hints at this ship so much and so does that episode where they find the mummy necklace thing! The ship I think is most likely to be canon! They even show Frankie blushing and stuff like. Theres a lot of things that make it clear they're implying romance in terms of how cartoons tend to imply ships. Also one episode description for a future episode literally involves Deuce being a wingman for Frankie to ask Cleo to the monster ball!!

I think I definitely ship this in an arospec way bc Im arospec but. Quoiromantic greyromantic Frankie is such a headcanon I have and maybe Demiromantic Cleo bc. I also feel Cleo would realise her feelings after Frankie realised theirs. Although I also see Frankie having trouble interpreting their feelings towards Cleo or maybe not.

In one episode a playback of Clawdeen's monster minute is shown in which she says something about who she thinks is cute but it cuts off before any names are said (I believe it could be Deuce or Howleen. My partner and I even have a lighthearted bet on this in case it gets revealed, they guess Duece and I guess Howleen. Theres also the chance that neither and/or it is not revealed). It is to be considered that in the movie Deuce and Clawdeen do have chemistry but. I don't see that in this version at all tbh. Clawdeen doesn't seem to have romantic chemistry with anyone in the show tbh. And neither does Deuce imo

I do know that one sided Heath x Abbey is. Kind of noticeable but tbh Abbey is new to school at monster high and also I dont think its ever hinted that she feels the same about Heath although its possible she does and this ship may become canon?

Not really a ship at all for me but. Ghoulia seems like she really looks up to admires Skelly maybe in a fangirl-y way and that may be like. A celeb crush thing there and/or gender envy?

-agrees with her children or Gerald even if they are 100% in the wrong, will complain to everyone if someone doesn't agree. (Maybe canon)

-her and Gerald adopt another small child when Kyle's a teenager (much to his and Ike's dismay)

-has cheated on Gerald multiple times and admitted to it but he doesn't really care (she is trying to get a divorce)

-has slapped Cartman on multiple occasions

And yeah, I do hc the senshi having scars, but my hc is a bit convoluted. Basically if an injury is caused by a fight when in senshi form, that scar would only show in their civilian form and it would only show if it's form a major injury (senshi healing prevents them from being covered in scars from minor to even some major cuts/bruises). So say sailor Mars gets grievously injured. Rei would get a scar, but the next time she turns into Mars, that scar is no longer present for the time of her being Sailor Mars.

The only exception is if a scar was present from before their awakening, say kid Minako fell down a ditch and broke her leg and she had to get surgery, that surgery scar would be present both in her human and senshi form.

With all that said I do hc the majority of the senshi getting some type of scar/major injury in my 'super hc, definitely detached from canon' storyline.

I see Ami losing some fingers from over-exerting herself, due Mercury not being immune to her own powers (ice). I see Usagi losing her right arm trying to save the two idiot lesbians from Saturn and Mina getting a thin horizontal scar on her face she got while saving Usagi. Mako and Haruka both have scars too, though those are from their childhoods, Haruka lost use of the right eye in a domestic violence incident and Mako getting a pretty major abdominal scar from the plane crash (in my hc I have it where she was on the flight that killed her parents, it's depressing ik, but its there for a reason).

The others I'm wishy-washy on, I don't really like giving scars just cause, I like to have a narrative reason for them. I'm sure as I develop the story more, I'd get a better line on them.

I do see Usagi feeling guilty, but not about most of their scars, she mostly feels guilty for Mina's scar, since Mina got it from saving her. She more deals with a general feeling of guilt for causing her friends' lives to be tied to being a senshi. I'll get more headcanon-y for a moment and say that I hc that being a senshi is not something you can just walk away from, not only responsibility wise, but also physically. The girls have to transform on a regular basis, or their bodies start to get all this built up energy that can cause physical ans mental strain, like headaches, general pains, mood swings and even allucinations. It's basically you transform on a regular basis or you die, straight up. The star seeds have no use for a body that is unwilling to utilize the energy it provides, so it just seeks to kill the host and find a new vessel.

So Usagi would feel an immense amount of guilt while hearing her friends joking around and talking about how one of the girls had to lock herself in the bathroom during class for 10 minutes cause they had to transform and the teacher got soo mad!! It pains her even tho she knows, deep down, it's not her fault, but she's the only person alive she can blame. Her friends will never be able to live a normal life, and it's all her fault.

as far as bad habits go, i think they both have quite a lot - our girls have both Been Thru It TM and would naturally have picked up many coping habits along the way. they are also both Very Annoying

let's start with emma, who i think has more in what we would think of as a stereotypical way

emma's sleep schedule also... bro... like the mess, she's way better when she lives with henry and regina because these are people she loves with whom she naturally falls into a healthier routine, and she has a job she loves too that she's actually excited to get to work on time for - but most of her life, she's had no concept of time or sleep.

she will stay up til 6am and wake up at 4pm or anything within that boundary. pot noodles for breakfast. cereal for dinner. and again, it's because she's never felt like she's had a 'normal' family, life or routine, it's just never been a part of the way her brain works

(regina loves cooking though and part of her love language is definitely making sure her loved ones have good meals, so these days are long over for emma, unless she genuinely wants a pot noodle for old times sake. now days, she never even leaves for work without a lunch packed lovingly for her by her wife, often with a note or flower enchanted not to wilt. sometimes if regina is out early she'll even leave emma and henry breakfast too)

regina is almost the exact opposite - she is obsessively neat to a fault and will get very touchy about a sock being left on the floor. she will get up from watching a movie because she noticed crumbs on the side and had to clean it up. (because cora left her terrified of ever making a mess or showing a face less than 'perfect')

both of these 'bad habits' eventually slightly neutralise each other, to the point regina can still relax despite leaving the dishwasher for an evening, and emma can make the bed after herself in the mornings because hey, it does only take a few seconds, and it does feel better to come home to.

and besides, they are both trying to set a good example for henry, which leads to them setting better standards for themselves easily, naturally. (emma and regina healing their inner children by raising their child is TOO MUCH for me i'm dead bye)

regina also has bad sleep habits but more in an overthinking/will get a sudden thought and end up knee deep in google tabs for three hours kind of way. emma often has to (gently) remove the phone from her, turn it off and leave it on her side of the bed, before cuddling into her and holding her close til she falls asleep.
