#was going to make a vent post. but i dont even know wjat to say #im just. sad. and lonely #so like what else is new man #this is just my life #and it has been for basically as long as i can remember #its not gonna change any time soon i can tell you that much #i dont have time to hang out with anyone. or rlly anyone to hang out with for that matter #im still not over this FUCKING GUY. ITS BEEN TWO MONTHS LEAVE ME THE FUCK ALONE. GOD #on good days i know that i have friends and people that care abt me. on bad days i feel like no one gives a fuck how abt me #and this is a bad day <3 #and i KNOW its not true. but like god #will this ever end #why is my best friend my ex. isnt that fucking embarrassing.#i feel so pathetic like cant i just Make New Friends. but no i cant!#my best friend in the world is the person who broke my heart and i just gotta live with that #barely talking to anyone else and man thats Gotta be bad for my brain #but. no friends. so #this is definitely the loneliest ive felt in a long long long time #and like im Fine. theres nothing Wrong. life is fucking Fine and Normal i just feel Bad #well i guess theres the heartbreak. and the immense stress over having to Graduate University. and also starting the pill maybe #man i just wanna be happy. I know there needed to be a major focus on Cloudtail's bond with and acceptance of brightheart following the dog attack. But as a concept: the others who regularly visit her in the medicine cat den are Goldenflower and her kits. No one gets why. Brightheart, Lost face a the time looks terrifying, gorish when her bandages aren't set properly.

It's a scene that would give children nightmares and with Goldenflower's devotion to her children, her actively taking them to visit Lostface seems misguided and strange. But the clan is still standoffish to her children, shrink away at Bramblekit so no one says anything. Cloudtail is greatful to have someone else who seems so set on visiting Lostface so she has others to talk to.

One day when Cloudtail is busy, Lostface finally works up to ask. "Why? Why do you always visit, why do you bring your children? I know this must be scary for them."

Goldenflower settles next to her, watching her children get a bit too curious with herbs. "Because you made sure swiftpaw wasn't alone when he died." She looks softly at Lostface. Never once had she reacted with disgust or fear. "How could I let you be alone while you live."
