It seems we have arrived at That Point again, when I need a new intro post. So here we are! The Official (kidnapped) Good Omens Mascot and uh Maggot Prince has returned with a fresh post.

I'm Asmi, I'm 20 years old, he/him, very queer and probably napping at any given moment of the day. Because of a chaotic post, I now have a fandom. My fans, such as they are, are known as maggots. There is a lot of significance behind that (accidentally, I just picked it because it looked like mascot kind of).

I am the Official Good Omens Mascot, because I was kidnapped by the fandom in January after I made a summary post of Good Omens without watching it, just by what I saw on my tumblr dash. I have grown very fond of this title and the fandom, and have since watched the show (some episodes twice).

Also, this blog is a safe space for all queer people, and yes that includes aroace-spec people, trans people, all queer people. If you don't agree with that, there's the door *points to a pit of boiling sulphur*.

ANYWAY YES ENOUGH TALKING WELCOME TO THE CHAOS JUST BE KIND AND RESPECTFUL OF EACH OTHER, BE AS IRREVERENT TO ME AS POSSIBLE, AND WE'LL GET ALONG GREAT. YOU DON'T NEED TO INTERACT TO BE PART OF THIS FAMILY, EVERYONE IS WELCOME! WAHOO!

wanted to put a side by side comparison of this part of lee and nina's special intro cause it's interesting noting lee's different expressions depending on the side that you catch it on.

there's a split second where his face in the first one is furious. it feels like this is the first time we see lee show such emotion in a while, the closest being his intro with kazuya. it makes me wonder if this interaction is a charade and he's hiding what he truly thinks of her.

...or maybe it's just a simple case of her getting on his nerves by implying the impossibility of him beating her. he is still a mishima through and through and putting his strength into question is something that might hit close to home, especially with the upbringing he had.

it's also funny to contrasts this with nina's intro with eddy, where she's the actively teasing one. she really is still sore that lee got the upper hand on her in t7 haha. i guess he did put a blemish in her track record as a corporate head second in command, and she's never going to forgive that.

IT'S 10 PM ON A TUESDAY AND I FINALLY FOUND THE PMD EXPLORERS OF SKY TRACK I'VE BEEN SEARCHING FOR FOR ACTUAL YEARS

i don't have a DS/3DS anymore so I haven't been able to find it using the in-game jukebox, but this little song has the power to break my heart into a million pieces, bc it plays after a very emotional montage over a character just. sobbing, in absolute grief, to a friend. and after the grandiose nature of the previous track, the first few notes of this one just feel so raw and despondent and heartwrenchingly, honestly sad.

it's only like 30 seconds long, and i think about it every time i'm unexpectedly hit by old grief-i-thought-had-healed in my real life 😭
