saikis powers are a vital part of him so it makes sense that people who dont know about them cant truly understand his whole self, but its also very silly to me when people act like its the ONLY important part of him... people act like his friends that arent in the know are completely blind to who saiki is, but i feel like that kinda means you missed some major points... he cant keep his powers a secret forever and it DOES matter, but he can still be loved and KNOWN without knowing about them... hes still human, he still has a personality, he still has regular likes and dislikes, etcetc

his friends perspectives on him may have been wrong at first, but they CHANGED... they know him and love him, and theyll KEEP loving him the SAME once they know of his powers...

some people cough cough cough in this fandom like to reduce saiki to JUST his powers and its so obvious that you just. missed everything. you didnt absorb anything from the show, you just saw it and went "ha, everyone thinks hes just a guy when hes actually super cool and powerful" no no no, he IS cool and powerful but look a little closer and at his core he is still LITERALLY JUST A GUY 😭😭😭

You know what? Fuck it, they both have homeschool trauma

#Rapunzel is the homeschooled kid who’s super under-socialized so she overcompensates by being incredibly social #And tries to make as many friends as is humanly possible #And thinks she’s best friends with anyone she has a conversation with #And due to the lack of socialization growing up she’s incredibly extroverted #And while she is definitely very smart she didn’t have the best education so she regularly doubts herself and assumes she’s dumb #Varian is also undersocialized but he turned super introverted and while he desperately wants friends he has no idea how to make them #nor does he feel comfortable around people #So he just becomes a hermit and wishes he could socialize like a normal person #And then he latches onto any person who interacts with him positively #He’s also ridiculously smart and that’s the only thing about himself he has any pride in #Neither of them are good at social cues or feeling comfortable in public spaces #And they both have severe anxiety and depression #tts #tangled the series #rapunzel's tangled adventure #varian #rapunzel

At *least* a 2x resistance to ground type attacks. My last partner died due to a 4x weakness to earthquake and it gave me SUCH an ick :/ likeeeee I haaaaate it when my partner gets one-shot by earthquake spammers. its such a turn off.

*starts to make a post about my latest crisis like three times*

#it's uh. it's interesting times here #i am really out here choosing between my comfort zone #or spending over 300 dollars to go to a homeschool conference to sell some copies of my book #most of the money would be spent on author copies of my book #and like. i prayed and i was pretty sure buying 50 of them was the right way to go #AND YET. IT WOULD COST TWO FREAKING HUNDRED DOLLARS #well 269. let's be precise here #and i have to pay for a table at the book sale too and the time window is closing #i did randomly get a surprising amount of money from two people for christmas #and that would cover roughly half of it #but like. this is really stepping out in faith. close to as much as when i quit my job for this #i could make it all back all i have to do is sell those books. not even all of them just most of them.#BUT WHAT IF I CAN'T #i'm an introvert okay. or introvert adjacent. i don't have the confidence that my dad or my siblings would have for this #especially not when there's 300 dollars at stake and just. ugh #i definitely should not be putting all my faith in money or my own abilities #in fact what i should be doing is saying 'okay God if this is what you want then show up'#but oh sky above it is very scary #so if you made it this far. pray for me? that God will show me the right thing to do and i'll follow the path He has for me #even though it's extremely scary #hazel rambles about her original writing

personal update (bc i finally have more time on me hands)

i had my final (verbal) exam this morning and i officially passed!!! my apprenticeship of three years is finally over!!! which means no more exams lmfao and i can just work for a while!!!! the relief feels so nice and finally all the stress is lifted.
