oh, i actually dont mind talking about this at all!
technically, i was a floater: im a fast learner and was basically one of the people theyd stick wherever someone was needed. ghetsis veeeeery carefully balanced his loyalists with people who were there following n's doctorine like myself, as well as the people who were there because they couldnt get work anywhere else. we had a shocking amount of those... take what you can get i suppose
i did spend the majority of my time in the liberation platoons - i was even a platoon leader for a while twoards the end. i think the most "exciting" thing i did was a month actually working inside the castle. most people assume everyone in the castle were ghetsis' loyalists, which to my knowledge was actually true for all the guards... i was a cleaner, lmao. that was actually the only time i got to meet n face to face - he was actually quite young at the time, as was i; im pretty sure im only a few years older than him? apparently, i was one of the youngest people to work directly in the castle... so uh, hooray?

tbh i think the coldest and most shocking thing that can happen in an argument with this man is if you call him "john" and he corrects you to "constantine". biggest red flag you can find on the play. sounds pretentious when you're not experiencing it. means he's absolutely fucking furious with you.

#roses and lavender#it just sort of sprung into my mind but -- ella's on the way to the ball#the horses get lost#they wind up at this castle which very clearly does NOT have a ball on but like. what else is she supposed to do. it's cold and dark and#she can see candlelight through the windows#the entire castle is FLABBERGASTED to see what appears to be an honest-to-god storybook princess walk through the door#of course the beast gets down there asap but as soon as he sees her he decides to keep lukring in the shadows#she's beautiful and bright and shining and he is -- not.#for her part ella is a nervous wreck#this was not what she signed up for when she stepped into that pumpkin carriage#she stays for dinner because let's be honest she's starving at this point#they talk a little over dinner. as one does.#there's a hunger in both of them for human contact and despite the awkwardness of the situation they end up talking for a long long time#they lose track of time#and suddenly ella's doing her reverse magical girl transformation#and then they're stood in this drawing room just very awkwardly looking at each other#the beast who's been lurking in the shadows all night afraid to sully this beautiful creature by even standing too close to her#and the servant girl playing make-believe who's suddenly found herself in the worst version of the emperor's new clothes#in the distance they hear cogsworth shouting 'why the FUCK did the FOOTMAN just turn into a HORSE?!?!?'#eta the song in question was the loneliest time by carly rae jepsen ft. rufus wrainwright

i gotta say tho its so much easier to remember and process the plot of kh when youre watching just the cutscenes
#i think the fact that you play thru the game and theres so much soace between each plot point#and even that some plot points are super quick and easy to forget#or something major gets revealed and immediately after you get a fight like it doesnt give you the time to process whatever youre hearing#but just watching the cutscenes its like ohh i see now#i think playing the game and puzzling thru shit has its own charm like i like going thru the games like that it was fun if confusing#but its also good to just go back and watch the cutscenes#cuz im noticing so much shit now lmao and foreshadowing and im like oh shit thats what that meant#like that fucking scene where xemnas goes into the chamber of repose where aquas armour is#and when xigbar is subtly infodumping to zexion about ven and the chamber of waking and castle oblivion#which fucking wild that he knows that lmao#but when i was watching that again i was like oh my fucking god#michi tag#like most times its rrally hard for me to remember plot points if i binge shit#but with kh i think once u play it and then binge it after a while its like things stick better#or something idk its really fucking cold rn#anyways kh2 my beloved you made things so much more complicated and i was so not ready for that <3

I didn't want to wake up so bad today because I had a dream I was in love with a big burly polar bear furry 😭😭😭 take me back he was the oneeeeee
#patxt#and the DRAMA and the STORY i was some sort of a rebel in a very vaguely fantasy kingdom#and basicially the whole thing was that the ruler of the kingdom had unfairly imprisoned people including children because of something idk#and i was trying to free these people. the twist was that the ruler had powers of like jumping realities/reseting time lines? idk how to#call it but basicially each time I succeeded she would do the abra cadabra and boom back to the square 1 + I am in bum fuck nowhere + the#Land and castle look different + everyone's memories r reset too right.#so I was teying over and over again and it was also becoming harder with each time to trick the ruler BUT that's when the polar bear guy#comes in. so basicislly he was like her first general kinda think like u know right hand very cold and strict and hardened by time but also#kept in the dark by the ruler about the horrors and the injustice. and somehow thruout the resets and mt endless tries HE STARTED TO#REMEMBER ME FAINTLY AWAWAWAAAAA that's how u know it's true love *sighs dreamily* and at one point I was sure I am super fucked and that's#the end of me but he actually covered for me and iw as like o_o and as the ruler left he YOINKED me from the balcony edge I was dangling of#and im like ACK and he backs me to a corner and wants answers about my goal but also why does he feel like he remembers me and I'm like#I csnt add reaction pics here but basicially LITERALLY my heart was beating. so I tell him abt the war crimes and he DOESN'T believe me and#is like not angry because he's pretty stoic but hes not having a swag time BUT he let's me go and goes to check for himself and finds that#it's true. and as he goes to the ruler to confront her she is actually in the middle of performing the Thanos snap so it's all futile. but#from that point on he was able to Remember thruout the resets just like me and we started to work together to actually uncover#1 why the war crimes lol and 2 how is she able to reset the time lines and why does she resort to it 3 why can we remember thruout them#so we're working together anf the ruler acrually started to get suspicious of him that he might actually be able to Remember the resets and#since obviously she remembers thruout them too if she found out even ONCE he was helping me it would be super over for us lol. the dream#plot line never got finished but the last thing I remember was me being buried in his arms in a big fluffy warm hug and saying ilys LIKE#GRAAAAAAAGH EXPLDOED THE WORLD EXPLODED THE WORLD EXPLODES EVERYHRING GIVE ME THAT BEAR BACK!!!!!!!!!

frank ‘sacrificing’ his family (memory thereof, the implied peace in/after death and reuniting with them) to choose to go back to the mud and the blood and the violence. the comic had the heavy implication that he had a (literal? metaphorical?) deal with the devil in nam that resulted in the park massacre.
