#it’s 4 am and i can’t sleep

hello everyone. i finally decided that i will no longer post my writing here anymore and delete this account. will make a new one fresh. i’m sorry but first of all why are you still reading this? are you ok? do you like me? do you want to slam me against the wall and kiss me?

Jason likes to read after patrol every night.

He has a routine, he’ll strip his gear, kiss your forehead, shower and have a quick bite to eat. Then, he’ll make a steaming cup of valerian tea and get into bed with you, with his current read in hand.

Most nights, Jason reads to himself, quiet and tucked into his side of the bed, careful not to wake you with any sudden movements.

He’ll read until his eyelids feel heavy, until his fingers become weak, unable to carry the weight of the book. Jason reads until his mind no longer registers the words on the yellowing pages of the old paperback.

When exhaustion slowly takes over his body, he’ll delicately place his bookmark into the novel. He’ll put it to the side and then snuggle further into the sheets with you.

Jason will pull your sleeping figure close to his, unable to stay away and his hands will make their way around your body. He’ll gently whisper sweet nothings into your ear, well aware that you cannot hear him. Then, he’ll let his sleep wash over him.

But there are some nights when Jason reads to you.

On nights where you struggle to find sleep, you stay up until he makes his way home from patrol. He’ll do his routine as if he’s on autopilot, almost robotic. Kiss, shower, eat and then into the bed with you and his book.

This time though, he’ll read out loud to you. His voice husky and laced with fatigue, lulling you to sleep. Your head lies against his bare chest and his fingers trace comforting shapes on your skin underneath your shirt.

Once he finds you dozing off, Jason will softly peck your forehead and continue to read to himself, until sleep finds him and takes over his body.

Good luck trying to casually cuddle with me if we date we’d lay down and get nice and cozy and then i would fall asleep in two seconds flat and trap you for four hours

jordan li is the biggest softie in the world, a treasure that only marie gets to see. it first started when the two of them realized they really liked each other and they got over the elephant in the room… marie liked jordan for who they were, not what they looked liked.

that changed jordan.

what starts as awkward glances turns into stolen kisses when they see each other in the halls between classes. blushing pink cheeks and fighting smiles when marie compliments them. big, brown eyes that well up with tears when they watch sad movies together. the inability to keep their hands to themselves when they’re together, always wanting to touch her skin. whispering ‘i love you’ to her every chance they had. not being able to sleep unless marie was by their side.

the worst of all… the pouty sound of their voice when they beg marie to stay in bed for five more minutes because they desperately need more cuddles to start the day.

jordan would forever be marie’s big softie.

we were supposed to go to Husband’s parents’ house for dinner tonight (3 hours away…but because his brother is visiting from Australia) and I got really anxious and hesitant

and Husband told me to stay home 😭😭😭 and that he'd take the girls with him 😭😭
