it’s so funny to me that people used to try to warn me “if you go on t it won’t make you androgynous it’ll just make you look like a man” because 1) i do want to look like a man, that is famously a major part of being a trans man but also 2) t literally has made me androgynous?? like they were wrong on both counts. i got most of the looking-like-a-man changes that i wanted (deep voice, broader body, hair all over my body including my face) and i also give every single cis person in a five mile radius a stroke every time they try to figure out my gender. the assumption that trans men wouldn’t actually want to look like men and the assumption that cis people are good at correctly gendering us once we’re on t are both weird as hell.

Haunted Holy & Divine snippet
“When you torture people,” Nesta said, flatly. “For whatever it is they’ve done. They throw them in the dark and they throw them to you.”
There had never been a choice.
Azriel was the bastard son of an Illyrian lord. There was only blood, for him. It would have been swords and battlefields. A lifetime of war. Killing his own, when the disobeyed. Crippling his own, when they dreamt of more.
Azriel’s hands would have always had to do the work- for Rhain, for Shahar, for Rhysand. It was no small thing that had made him what he was, but it was no choice either.
“I mean you no harm,” Azriel settled on saying, nearly soundless. Colorless, as the deepening shadow, his many many forebears in Night’s unholy work crowding close in cold comfort.
It was no physical nearness, but Nesta’s eyes flickered up, following what was not light like a moth.
“What is the point in hurting them,” she huffed. “What is the point, when you?” She made a vast slashing gesture toward him, lingering enough Azriel could not reign in the shadows that slipped, trying to coil around her aching wrist in support. “You don’t need a knife to know.”
No, he didn’t.
And the first century of his work for the throne, Truthteller had been nothing but a friend, a mark of respect: Azriel might carry of sword at times, might have survived training, but he would never carry a blessed blade of his people.
So Rhain had made him one.
Starsteel did not bend for High Fae hands, but it had melted. Become something better, worse, beneath Azriel’s young, unfettered grip.
“I don’t.” Azriel admittedly, softly. “I do not choose what my High Lord asks of me.”

I really appreciate how Farscape managed to oust Captain Crais to up the ante for a bigger and scarier villain at the end of season 1 start of season 2 while still keeping him around. Also the comedy of the bad guys once again chasing John Crichton specifically because of a complete misunderstanding is really good

It's 2 am and I can't sleep with the thought of Hobie Brown leaving kiss marks all over his s/o face
Like- Imagine it. supermodel Hobie Brown, chilling on the dressing room with his partner, just chilling with each other. Then, he just gets up, reaches for a container of dark lipstick and just... Slowly, teasingly, sets it on his lips...
S/o immediately turns away, pretending like they weren't watching practically not blinking how their boyfriend applied the paint to his pretty lips.
He chuckles, steps closer and sits beside them. Without warning, he grabs their face and just plants a big fat kiss in their cheek. Then on their forehead. Other cheek. Lips. Jaw. It goes on and on, all the s/o can feel at this point is his warm lips, cold piercing and the sticky feeling of the lipstick coating their entire face.
When he steps back, Hobie just has this absolutely smug look on his face as he sees his finished work.
"looking good, luv."

curious to know why you dislike juline?
tbh i had no opinion at all of her and then about a year ago there was a poll on which member of the collective was the best. and the tiergan lovers website let tiergan down. in favor of her. /hj
in seriousness, dislike was a bit strong. im still mostly neutral on her. she does sort of feel like just another sparkly girlboss in the series which. admittedly is a trope in kotlc thats started to piss me off a bit bc it seems like every adult woman falls into it.
juline is like. the final evolution of that sparkly girlbossery. she has no real relationship damage for more than 2 minutes after revealing shes been lying to her family for years and was part of the organization that grady thought killed his daughter.
in general! it doesnt seem like she ever faces any consequences for lying to her family or pushing them to the side a bit in favor of the black swan.
idk maybe there were problems (specifically with dex) and we never saw them bc theyre not sophies problem but. whatever.
also what is her "official job." was she passing off as a stay at home mom? does she work in the nobility? idk

Ya know, if the batfam were predominantly female, they would not put up with Bruce's bullshit.
Dick would've moved away and never came back
Jason, after the whole UTRH arc would've stuck to crime alley and ignored Bruce
Tim would.... he would still put up with Bruce's bullshit. He's the definition of "I can fix him"
Damian would've left to live with Dick.
and Duke, he would've followed in Dick's footsteps and moved out, never looking back.
