Hello my dears. since my last two uploads were pretty long I think I will be taking a few days off to write up a couple of chapters for both of my series and take care of myself (been forgetting to take my meds and haven't been sleeping well 💔) his cologne is on hiatus until I figure out what to do with the story going forward and gain motivation to write the next chapter back! My current ED harm reduction rules:
• Take multivitamins. Even the gummies, even if you are three meals, even if you ate nothing. If you’re gonna mess up your body, be smart about it.
• Don’t. Get. Dehydrated. Drink minimum 8 cups of water every day, but extra if you exercise.
• Don’t ever drive if you’re feeling dizzy or lighthearted. Always keep some sort of carb (apple juice, crackers) on you in case you have low blood sugar and really start to feel it. I promise, a few carbs will not make any difference in the long run and if you’re driving, it’s so much better to be safe than sorry.
• Don’t chew gum excessively, it can cause all sorts of problems like bloating, digestive issues, ect.
• Be proactive. If you have to go out to eat somewhere, find safe foods on the menu ahead of time. Don’t absolutely lose your mind if you have to eat a higher cal meal than what you were planning. It won’t kill you, and the stress it causes is way worse for you than the actual food.
• Don’t beat yourself up if you didn’t meet your goal. Sometimes, slip ups happen. Pick back up where you left off.
• Don’t form a dependency on caffeine. Seriously. It messes with your body and your mind. Drink white teas or herbal teas if you’ve already had a few cups of coffee.
• Give yourself a break on Thanksgiving. Try your best to be present with your friends and family, not stuck in anorexia panic mode.
