Hello there how are you?
Uhm random question, you dont happen to still have your ladynoir fallout playlist and to be kind enough to share it or do you??? Asking for a friend : )
I don't have it as an actual spotify playlist, but I do have a list of the songs that I associate with that ladynoir era, which I am happy to share! Basically the playlist is half-canon/half-fanfic. It's like a season 4 AU where Ladybug and Chat Noir really did have a serious falling out that lasted a pretty long while. And while Chat did still help with akumas sometimes, he kept to his own mostly. Some of the songs only vaguely match up with it, but I'll put in little explanations for the songs here too so that you can know what I was thinking.
Waiting in the Wings from Tangled the Series [Chat singing this as he becomes more and more sidelined by Ladybug]
Drift Away cover by Caleb Hyles [Chat feeling like he and Ladybug are drifting apart]
Lovers’ Eyes by Mumford & Sons [Chat starting to be angry with Ladybug, but still loving her]
Waiting in the Wings (reprise) from Tangled the Series [Adrien about Gabriel]
Dead Mom from Beetlejuice [Adrien about Emilie]
Lost In the Woods from Frozen II [Chat Noir]
brutal by Olivia Rodrigo [Chat/Adrien as his anger at everything grows]
I Couldn’t Know Someone Less from Daddy Long Legs [Chat to Ladybug when she starts to be his “boss” (specifically the "why would you set me free only to imprison me?" line)]
Waving Through A Window from Dear Evan Hansen [Adrien feeling alone]
Head Above Water by Avril Lavigne [Chat feeling like no one cares]
Happier by Marshmello [Adrien thinking Ladybug will be happier without him]
To Build A Home by The Cinematic Orchestra[Chat before the fallout]
Life’s Too Short - Outtake from Frozen [Them fighting before the fallout]
Crossing the Line from Tangled the Series [Chat and Ladybug fall out]
I Won’t Hold You Back by Toto [Chat leaving]
Make It Right from Prince of Egypt [Ladybug saying she can make it right, but Chat saying there’s nothing she can do so she leaves]
Let You Go by Joshua Bassett [Chat saying goodbye]
The Next Right Thing from Frozen II [Ladybug after Chat leaves]
What Baking Can Do from Waitress [Marinette stress baking after the fallout]
Before You Go by Lewis Capaldi [Ladybug reflecting back on everything]
True Love - Ballad by Jordan Fisher [Ladybug realizing what she’s lost]
good 4 u by Olivia Rodrigo [Chat being angry because he thinks that LB is okay and has moved on when he hasn’t]
I Knew You Once by Hollie Allen [Ladybug after the fallout)
Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again from The Phantom of the Opera [Ladrien singing]
If I Could Take This Moment Back from Tangled the Series [both of them feeling regret for their actions]
Iris cover by Kina Grannis [both of them while they're "broken up"]
Learn to be Lonely from The Phantom of the Opera [Chat while he’s Rogue Noir]
I Don’t Wanna Love Somebody Else by A Great Big World [they still love each other]
I’d Give Anything from Tangled the Series [Ladybug wanting Chat back]
Did I Make The Most Of Loving You from Downton Abbey [Ladybug asking about Chat]
Payphone by Maroon 5 [Chat starting to regret his choices]
Far Too Late from Andrew Lloyd Webber's Cinderella [Ladybug feeling like it’s too late to get Chat back]
Always Remember Us This Way from A Star Is Born[During the "break up", them remembering the good times]
When We Were Young cover by Madilyn Bailey [After the ladynoir fallout Chat looking back...both of them stark back on the past]
Hello by Adele [them starting to call out to each other]
Meet Me On the Battlefield/Battlefield by SVRCINA [Them seeing each other in fights but no where else]
Life’s Too Short (Reprise) - Outtake from Frozen [Learning to see each other’s points of view]
Say Something by A Great Big World [them wanting to talk but not having the courage to]
Beautiful Ghosts by Taylor Swift [Chat trying accept the loneliness]
Wondering from High School Musical: The Musical: The Series [Both of them wondering what would have happened if things were different]
Pictures in my Head from The Muppets [Remembering the happy past]
Stay With Me by Sam Smith [Both of them thinking it but never saying it]
Just Give Me a Reason by P!NK [Chat looking at this point for any reason to stay]
Space Between from Descendants 2 [Them starting to reconcile]
What’s Up Danger from Spider-man: Into the Spider-Verse[Chat Noir returns]
I Still Have Faith In You by ABBA [Ladynoir come back together]
Confident by Demi Lavato [Ladynoir fighting Shadowmoth together]
Seventeen (reprise) from Heathers [After the battle]
After All by Michael Buble [them falling in love with each other again]
And that's it! Sorry I didn't have it as a real playlist! Hope it scratches the Ladynoir fallout itch! Happy (or sad) listening!

The Moments That Made Us

Prompt: “You’ve been pouting ever since I went out on that date, what’s up?”
Pairing: Jordan x reader
Tag list: for @burninglaurens and @sunriseovertheroomwhereithappens some of the most loyal Jordan fans I know. And @femilton and @always-blame-jefferson you’re both so amazing.
Masterlist | Request!
You and Jordan had been best friends since he moved from Alabama to Virginia in first grade. You spilled paint all over your new sweater and started crying. Jordan saw how upset you were, so he put a big stripe of red paint on his Spider-Man t-shirt. In that moment, you knew he was going to be your best friend. From there on out you two were inseparable; you did everything together. You went trick or treating together, you two went to prom together—your parents even let you two pick out your first cars together.
You had been with Jordan through everything—from his iCarly appearance, to his role in Secret Life of the American Teenager, and his roles in Teen Beach Movie and Liv and Maddie. After high school, he headed to LA for his acting career and you went off to the Big Apple to further your education. You visited him whenever you could and vice versa. Even when you two were living in two different time zones, you were still two peas in a pod.
Now, Jordan was back on the east coast, New York, more specifically. He was offered the chance to be John Laurens and Philip Hamilton in the groundbreaking musical “Hamilton.” He was rooming with you and your other roommate Iris until he got an apartment. And in his few weeks of living there, you three were the best of friends.
Monday
When Jordan moved in, you realized that you and Iris passed the Richard Rodgers on your way to work. So you guys started carpooling.
“Are we going to see the new ‘Warriors of the Underground’ movie on Friday?” Iris asked.
“Warriors of the Underground” had been you and Jordan’s favorite comic book series since you two were seven. It also happened to be Iris’ favorite.
“Of course!” you exclaimed. “Wouldn't wanna miss the Nightriders battling with the Daybreakers!”
“And Adoeette finding out that Chief Ahote is his long lost father,” Jordan chimed in.
“There's a showing at six and one at nine,” Iris told you two, “which one?”
“Nine, night showings are the best showings,” you said.
“And I don't have any night shows that day, so it's perfect,” Jordan said.
“Great!” Iris smiled and clapped her hands. “It's settled.”
“This is my stop, see you guys at home,” Jordan said as you pulled in front of the theater.
“Later,” you smiled.
“Adios, oh, and don't forget to get some milk on your way home!” Iris shouted after him.
“Okay, mom!” Jordan shouted back and ran into the theater.
Wednesday
“How are we gonna tell her?” Iris whispered.
“I don't know!” Jordan said, letting his voice go slightly above a whisper.
“We have to tell her, Fisher,” Iris countered.
“I know, but she'll be so upset with us!” Jordan sighed.
“I'll be upset with you guys about what?” you asked, walking out of your bedroom.
They both looked at each other and then down at the ground.
“You guys!” you whined. “What's up?”
“We can't go to the movies on Friday!” Iris blurted.
“What? Why?” you asked.
“You know Eric from work?” Iris asked. “Well, he asked me out on a date.”
“Iris, that's great!” you cheered and saw her face contort into a look of confusion. “I know how much you like him. We can always go see it on Saturday.”
“So, I can go tell him I can go?” she asked.
“Of course,” you reassured her and rubbed her shoulder.
Iris scurried off to her room to go call Eric and finalize the date.
“Well, Fisher, I guess we can just hang out around the house on Friday night,” you shrugged and walked into the kitchen to get something to drink.
“Yeah, about that,” Jordan said, sucking air through his teeth.
“What?” you asked, putting the cup up to your mouth.
“I have a date too,” he admitted and you almost choked on your juice. “with that girl Becky from the ensemble.”
“I'm sorry, what?” you said.
“I have a date,” he repeated and it only hurt more.
“So you're ditching me too?” you asked, anger present in your voice.
“I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you on Saturday, I promise,” he said and walked over to kiss your forehead.
“Save that for Becky,” you pouted.
“Love you,” he chuckled and started to head towards the door.
“Uh huh,” you rolled your eyes.
To Jordan, you were just mad because he was ditching, but to you it was so much more than that. You realized you were in love with Jordan the night of high school graduation, the same night before he caught his plane to Los Angeles. You realized you didn't want him to be with anyone else the moment he mentioned going on date with someone other than you. Typical you, always realizing things too late.
Friday
On Friday evening, you were sitting on the couch while your two best friends got ready for their dates. Iris was the first one ready.
“I'm about to head out, how do I look?” she asked, straightening out her dress.
“Stunning,” you told her sincerely.
“I love you,” she sighed and pulled you into a hug.
“I love you too,” you said and hugged her back.
“Look at me,” she said once she pulled away from the hug. “Y/N, look at me.”
You met her eyes and tears started welling in your own.
“Listen to me,” she told you and cupped your cheeks. “I know you're upset, but what do always tell me?”
“Everything happens for a reason,”
“And?”
“That if two people are meant to be, they'll find their way back to each other,”
“Exactly!” she smiled.
“Thank you for always being there for me,” you told her.
“Of course,” she said, “I'll see you later.”
You watched her waltz out the front door. You plopped back down on the couch and flicked through the channels. Jordan walked out of the bedroom and into the living room.
“I'm about to leave,” he told you.
“Okay,” you deadpanned.
He scoffed, “Bye, Y/N.”
He slammed the door behind him and it made you jump. Yes, you were cold to him, but it was the only way you could act without bursting into tears. You decided to get your mind off everything by ordering some food and watching a movie. Everything happens for a reason, and if two people are meant to be, they'll find their way back to each other. You just had to keep telling yourself that.
You slid on your rain boots and your rain coat then headed out the door to go pick up your food. You walked a couple blocks until you were finally at the restaurant. Just as you were about to walk in, a leggy blonde whizzed past you.
“Rude.” you thought.
You watched her walk in and over to the booth were your best friend just happened to be sitting.
“This night just keeps getting better and better, doesn't it?” you thought.
You sighed and walked into the restaurant.
“Pick up for Y/L/N,” you told the waiter at the front of the restaurant.
“Coming right up,” he said and walked to the back.
You looked Becky, or “leggy blonde” as you like to call her, walk over to greet Jordan. He kissed her cheek and suddenly your heart shattered.
Virginia, night of graduation
“Kiss me,” you begged him, sitting in the treehouse you guys had been meeting in since you two were seven.
“Y/N, why?” he asked.
“Because I'm a senior in high school, soon to be a freshman in college, and I still haven't had my first kiss yet!” you blurted.
“Kissing will make things weird between us,” he told you.
“It's not like I'm asking you to put a baby in me, Fisher!” you shouted out in frustration. “Just kiss me, please?”
He leaned in closer and held the back of your neck. His lips were so soft, you felt like you were going to melt into a puddle. In that moment, everything fell into place. In that moment, you knew you were in love with him.
“Ma’am?” the waiter called, pulling you out of your trance.
You wiped your eyes and turned back around.
“Thank you,” you mumbled, taking the bag out of his hand and slamming the money down on the podium.
You practically ran out the door and down the street to the nearest gas station. You opened the freezer and pulled out a pint of Ben & Jerry’s. The kind you and Jordan had been eating since you were seven. Why must everything you do remind you of him? You paid for the ice cream and walked out of the gas station. You trudged through the pouring rain back to your apartment. You slid off your rain boots once you were inside. You took the food out of the bag then sat down right on the floor and ate. When all else fails, you can always eat your feelings. Or at least suppress them.
Just as you were about to get your ice cream out of the freezer, you heard a knock on the door. You groaned and walked over to open it. You were met with a soaking wet Jordan.
“Hey,” he said.
“Hey,” you said dryly and walked back into the kitchen.
“You’ve been pouting ever since I went out on that date, what’s up?” he asked.
“I'm waiting,” he sang, drumming his fingers on the counter.
“I'm not feeling well, sorry,” you said impassively.
“Okay, that sucks, I'm sorry, and now since I know that's bullshit tell me what's really wrong," he demanded.
Typical Jordan, always able to see right through your facade.
“I'm just really not feeling well, okay?” you said, irritation arising in your voice.
“Y/N, I've known you for sixteen years!” Jordan was finally fed up, “I know when you're lying!”
“I'm just not feeling well,” you said through clenched teeth.
“Just tell me, Y/N!” he screamed.
“I don't know, Jordan!” you exclaimed and threw your hands up in the air. “Maybe because I'm in love with you!”
“W-what?” he sputtered.
“I know, crazy right?” you chuckled coldly.
“If it helps, I'm in love with you too,” he said softly.
“Shut up,” you spat and rolled your eyes. “don't lie to me because you pity me.”
“I'm not lying to you!” he shouted, “God, Y/N, you're so stubborn sometimes!”
“So how do I know you're not lying to me?” you asked, tears running down your cheeks and onto your lips.
“If I'm not in love with you, why did I think of you when I was kissing Becky, hmmm?” he asked rhetorically. “If I'm not in love with you, why did I almost call her Y/N? If I'm not in love with you then why do I always picture my future with you—us—in it; together?”
And for the first time in awhile, you were speechless. Jordan wasn't one to lie, and he would never toy with your feelings like this. You slammed the spoon in your hand down in the sink and pulled him down to kiss you. Just like you remembered. A passion that was so intense it made your body heat up. Two pairs of soft lips and two bodies pushed together. A closeness you had only felt one other time in your life.
He pulled away first and stroked your cheek.
“So what now?” you mumbled.
“I say,” he began, “we eat this ice cream and we figure this out later.”
“Sounds good,” you smiled and grabbed two more spoons out of the drawer.
“Jordan,” you looked up at him.
“Yes?” he said, looking down at you.
“We have to talk about what just happened,” you said, making the elephant in the room as clear as day.
“For starters, why didn't you tell me sooner?” he asked.
“I could ask you the same thing,” you argued playfully.
“I asked first,” he told you.
You sighed and sat up, “Friends to lovers is messy. As cute as it sounds, movies and TV shows are known for over romanticizing things. In real life, it almost never works out. I'm scared. What if this ruins our friendship?”
“Love is never easy,” he told you, “but you can't just give up—we can't just give up because we're scared. We can't ignore what we have. Love is worth fighting for.”
In that moment, you didn't need to say anything; a simple head nod was enough. Jordan was right: love is worth fighting for, and you'll be damned if you didn't go down trying.
