How To: Low FODMAP Diet!
So, in the last couple of years I have changed my diet a couple of times. I started off what used to be my “normal” and then went to Vegan, which was a jump. Then my fertility doctor told me to go Keto, and now another doctor is telling me to go Low FODMAP. While to a certain degree I do not like other people telling me how to live my life and what to eat, but finding the diet that is right for your individual system is so important.

So, I was recently having some stomach issues while on my fertility break and went to a doctor to have it checked out. Their “best guess” was that it was IBS. So they suggested I change my diet and see how I feel. So, what is IBS and low FODMAP?

So food is the issue and the solution. I am still learning what is and is not ok, but using my substitution method to make the same meals I make but with proper ingredients for my current needs. I would highly suggest if you are having issues with food and don’t know what is going wrong, try a food allergy test and this diet and slowly work stuff back into it. I personally am looking forward to figuring out my diet that works for me after this, based on this. Would you try a low FODMAP diet?
