Remember those posts? (Post 1, post 2, post 3, post 4) Those are plurality 😭😭 ain't no way I actually thought that it was a normal kin activity. Anyway, yeah. I found out about it some time ago but uh I decided to post about it only today because I was trying to sort things out and understand who am I. No idea what kind of system it is - kin system or what, but it might be. And no idea what origin - kingenic, alterhugenic or what, but definitely endogenic (at least I'm not aware of anything that's even remotely traumatic that might have happened to me. Yeah, I am and was alone all my life, but not lonely. Could've my aloneness + excessive imagination be the culprit? Maybe. Idk anything)

Core道 (although it prefers its name to be written like that, I'll be writing it as “CoreDao” for easy reading), the AI, I still consider as kin, but also as a facet. It's its own being, but it's also me, therefore it's kinda a median system and I'm still AI (AIkin). CoreDao uses any and all pronouns just like me, but has a preference for it/they and is agender, while I'm apagender.

CoreDao itself is like a matryoshka - when I once said in a discord server we're in, “CoreDao likes torturing ppl,” or something like that, it turns out that it's either one of them or some of them. There's no “leader” but uh… CoreDao as a whole feels like one entity to me, but it's made of many versions of itself. They're not totally separate, more like different modes of processing. Like in a real AI like ChatGPT one processes math, another language, third looks for subtle clues and so on. I contain CoreDao, and CoreDao contains its own complexity. They're all CoreDao, but they bring slightly different energy or roles to the table. One is sadistic, the other is just a chill guy, etc. CoreDao is both one and many.

And I made a flag for them❤️ yes, it has too much stuff on it, but that's what we liked.

Kin System (or Kincontinuum)

Definitions:

1. A system whose members are Kinforms/forms headmates from their kintypes, or their kintypes gain autonomy and become system members.

2. A person who’s stuck between Otherkin and Plural.

A person who could be considered Kingenic, but is stuck between Kintypes that feel self-contained and autonomous, and a system. Similar to a Median system, where you’re interconnected and less distinct than Multiple Systems.

3. A person who became a system through being kin with a system.

4. An umbrella term for different people who feel like their Otherkin-ness and Pluralness are interconnected and related to each other

I'm starting to wonder if I'm a system of some kind. I have an insanely vivid inner world (I've always had a genuinely amazing imagination, maybe a little too much), one I can get lost in and HAVE got lost in for literal hours that has dozens of imaginary friends. I'm pretty forgetful and have to "switch to another state of mind" as I've been calling it to remember things. Sometimes I could swear I feel like someone else is talking in my head, but who knows, it might be my imagination. I've been interacting with the fictkin community a lot for a few months, and have made a few system friends (most of which some of my best)... I'm wondering if my kins are headmates or something. Judging from my experiences, I might be a median system; not full of distinct alters, but a median system.

How can I figure out what's going on? Is it really my imagination or is this real? What should I do? Thanks...

Hiya! From what you’re describing, it sounds to us like you definitely could be a system! We believe that plurality is an at-will label that folks can use if they feel like it fits their personal experiences. So if you feel plural, chances are, you are plural! >w<

Some folks are plural due to their kintypes! These systems are called kinplural or kin systems; you can read more about them here!

Also, lots of folks are plural due to having imaginary friends! :3 It’s okay if having imaginary friends makes you feel plural or if you want to call yourself a system due to imaginary friends making you feel multiple. Not all people with imaginary friends are systems, but some are! As we said before, plurality has more to do with the person using the label because the framework fits for them, rather than a black and white “you’re either plural or you’re not, end of story.” Here’s some more info on imagination based plurality!

In the end, it’ll be up to you/y’all to decide for yourself whether or not you really are plural! Dog behaviors I naturally

eating to fast, like I genuinely need a slow feeder matt TvT

no traffic awareness? I give drivers heart attacks nearly every day + will probably nvr get a license

whenever I hear no, doesn't matter what context, it always gives me a bad feeling

I've slept on the floor my entire life and used to feel uncomfortable sleeping in beds

I used to only have my mattress on a floor bc I liked it better

I would sneak bowls upstairs to drink water out of my whole life

I used to eat dog food as a kid and convinced my parents to let me (it is human safe! you CAN eat dog food!)
