Weaknesses: Is extremely arrogant thanks to his Asgardian nature and will choose death if an opponent manages to best and spare him (Squandered Kratos’ attempt to spare him and kept attacking leading to his demise), His foresight only allows him to judge his opponents bare basic movements and intentions i.e. seeing only the ‘big picture’ rather than the smaller details (He could see that Atreus would cause the fall of Asgard but not that it wasn’t his intention, Could see that Kratos was going to throw the Draupnir Spear but not that the Spear was explosive), Heimdall’s foresight can also be overwhelmed if he is forced to predict too many things at once (This is what allowed Kratos to steadily wear him down until he could land a hit starting the battle as a slow clumsy Berserker before picking up in speed and skill until Heimdall couldn’t handle all of the attacks coming his way).

Strengths:As a newly ascended God and the 2nd in rank for the Cometverse, he's definitely one of the strongest of his home verse. Godlike strength (while only being a god of all mental abilities, he's surprisingly strong. Flipping Ares with no issue soloing Ares three kids and in a few background/non Canon gags accidentally have hurt beings like Mars Venus and even Saturn without meaning it. He stated to be stronger than Cherub and Takie. [Takie can throw trains across cities, and Cherub, the weakest of the gods, shook his homeworld with a thunderous storm. NOTE! We are never told how big his homeworld is, but the numbers from Moontear's files claim it's bigger than Mars but is a bit smaller than Earth.] Paradox claims he could never match him in a battle and Paradox was a near equal to Shiva.), Godlike durability (while not many feats are given he's capable of shrugging off hits from Bealzzabub and Loki pretending to be Thor. Was stated to survive Thor's hammer being dropped on him, but neither will speak about it. Treats being shot by the Seven Lucky Gods as a pain. Took a lighting bolt from Jupiter, who's a Supreme goddess and could beat the other guardians in a fight.), Godlike speed (can teleport using beams of light or even through wifi signals. Can somehow use both the internet and radio waves to get anywhere across the universe. Speedblitz Paradox and Kaito, both of which can dodge attacks from gods. Has said that somehow Lightning is slow to him.), Genius intellect (outsmarted Loki and Brunhilde. Instantly knew what Bellazubub had done to Adamantie and Zerofuku. High intelligence and a photographic memory and a quick working brain help. Somehow outhought a supercomputer made to match the GodKillers.), thanks to his title he has several powers. Hindsight[seeing all past events] Foresight[Seeing the future] emotion sensing, mind reading, telekinesis, element manipulation, tech manipulation, energy manipulation, transfiguration, his own version of pym particals (can shrink and grow things while shifting mass to an alternate dimension.) Dimensional and time travel through his armband. Sensory manipulation.

Weaknesses:Most of his powers require him to concentrate first. Becoming a god at 50 and now being 55 means he hasn't had much time to master his powers. Often is passive and won't fight. CANT VÖLUNDR OR USE MUSICALLY MEDICAL MADNESS (both required his husband.) Is a doctor first fighter later.

Black Widow thoughts SPOILERS!!!

Before going into spoilers I just have to say I really liked this movie. There are few things that I’d change. But overall, the good compensated the bad. I am satisfied.

What i absolutely loved:

The opening scene was great! Just like I expected, it’s so like The Americans. If you haven’t watch that show, it’s just the best spy series ever. And this scene felt a lot like that.

The opening credits scene WOW, again so much like The Americans. It’s so moving I almost cry. I really loved it. It’s shocking. I’m going to be listening to that cover repeatedly for the next few days.

I loved Mason, I always love to meet the person who helps these characters get all the IDs and everything they need. I love their relationship. O-T couldn’t shut up about his ship, he so wants Mason and Natasha to be a couple. He could have a crush, but I’m not sure she reciprocates. But I love Yelena saying he’s sensitive. He’s a softy, bless him 🥰 I hope he makes cameos in other movies.

Natasha vs Yelena OMG That fight was so raw, I don’t think we’ve ever seen a fight like that before! I mean, I suppose Disney + shows have that kind of fights, but it’s great to see it in a movie and in this particular movie!!! Often you see really well-choreographed fight sequences, but you don’t feel the punches... but here... I mean these women really went for it. It hurt watching them.

Natasha calling Dreykov’s daughter “collateral damage” was great. When Loki mentioned her I imagined a young adult, but it was only a child! And Natasha was willing to sacrifice her! I think that was great for a Marvel movie cause there’s no way of justifying it. She was just a little girl!!! And it plays with the whole “girls are expendable” narrative.

The traces of Clint and Nat playing X and Os was hilarious. I need a Marvel one-shot about that. It would be amazing and I bet they would have deep conversations to kill time.

I loved Red Guardian, he’s so pathetic. He only cares about himself and his glorious days. Loved his tattoos, I saw Yelena and Nat’s name, and Melina + Lenin and Marx!

I also loved to see the 3 generations of widows.

Melina reminded me so much of Elizabeth from The Americans. Her saying that the mission went great cause they fooled everyone... she was so indoctrinated.

YELENA BELOVA... everything.

She has 3 running gags: the vest, the cool way to die, and the pose!

“Why the aggression?” in deep Russian accent. lol

I liked the way they addressed the hysterectomy. The way Alexei makes this sexist comment about her period and Yelena takes this to talk about it and how graphic she was!

Ok but Yelena blowing up a tower and causing an avalanche!

The dinner table scene!

Can everybody please stop hurting Yelena! First Alexei talks about their family as a dreadful thing, then Melina talking proudly about “unlocking free will” and Natasha saying that the family was fake! 🥺

Natasha was only indoctrinated and it’s because of her that Dreykov decided to control them fully. That’s why Yelena’s story is more heartbreaking + she’s the baby of the family and she got it worse! And each and every one of them had part of responsibility in her suffering. Nat never looked back, like at least she should have made follow up to the status of the widows.

Is Yelena truly Russian? What if she was taken from somewhere else?!

Good job Natasha appealing to Dreykov’s fragile masculinity!

Taskmaster was great. I loved the twist that it was Drekov’s daughter.

THAT POST CREDIT SCENE left me speechless. I couldn’t breathe! Why would Val tell Yelena that Clint was responsible?! I’m assuming they told everyone about Natasha’s sacrifice and that’s why her grave have so much flowers. So, what’s Val’s plan?

The not so nicely done:

Why do they keep calling her “Romanoff”? I would expect that the Russian characters would call her “Romanova”

Also, if they were posing as an American family, why were her names still Russian. We don’t see them interacting with anyone, but Melina says “Yelena”. It’s not even that hard to do it. Call Natasha --> Nataly and Yelena --> Elena (that’s actually the name but the pronunciation changes it).

I wish they would have brought back Julie Deeply as the leader of the Red Room. 

There’s no way, none, Natasha and Yelena would have survived that crash. I mean, the car exploded, rolled, and then both are still fit to run!

Couldn’t Renner made a brief flashback scene? I appreciated how much he was mentioned, but I would have loved seeing him. I’m not even sure that’s his voice in the flashback.

Ok, but why was the guy at the gas station so chill? 😂 They were talking about being killers and I find a bit mean that he didn’t recognize Natasha. They literally said she was an Avenger. Maybe because they were talking in English. 

Some of the science makes absolutely no sense. There’s no way of “serving the nerve” like that. The pheromones either.

The floating base doesn’t make sense either.

Chapter 1

Summary: Surrounded by so many beautiful words, Loki and the reader discuss their favorite books, authors and their own lives. The more the god looks at her, the more he gazes into her eyes, the harder he falls. She shows her secrets and he shows his. Is this what freedom feels like?

They moved fast, very very fast. Suddenly Loki was alone no more. Finally, after all those years where he never had a true friend, someone he could truly connect to, this witch, this seemingly simple human, was able to know him so much even within a moment of knowing him. From simple encounters in the library where they would chat about books and their days, to dates in coffee shops and to now, sitting in their corner, the one in the far back, with the two chairs and warm lighting coating smiles and chuckles.

“Why I think Marx’s theory makes no sense. Humanity could never simply give away wealth and power for what? Community? Ha!” Loki laughed, rolling his eyes as (Y/n) stared at him in thought. He then exclaimed in an epiphany. “Another thing,” He raises his finger, “the ‘socialist government’ is an absolutely idiotic idea. Imagine this, an individual with close to absolute power over a population, similar to a god, has to give the power back to the people, the same people that he rules over with an iron fist. Does it even seem plausible to you that anyone in the history of humanity would give in to their desires of power?”

“In the current times? Absolutely not. It’s bogus. But, as an avid Star Trek watcher, I’d like to believe that one day we could be capable of constructing a society where we live without poverty and famine. Sure, it sounds very much like an utopia and yes, it probably is, but I’d like to believe it, even if it is very much far-fetched.” (Y/n) argued back as Loki's eyes rolled back. “Oh don’t give me that look! I know, I know, but come on. It’s nice to believe in things. Even if nothing matters and nothing means anything, as it is theorised by my favorite philosopher Albert Camus, it is still nice to have wants and beliefs. By having some beliefs you give meaning to yourself. Isn’t that worth something?”

“You always know what to say don’t you, my little minx?” The god slid further on his chair, his hand moving to caress the woman’s face as she smiled at him.  

“I try.” Her hand moved to cup his, kissing his palm in the process. “Sometimes I think you need a little optimism in your life. I was thinking,”

“Oh dear.” Loki said, a smile appearing on his semblance.

“Sush, you!” (Y/n) chuckled, taking his hand from her face and interlacing it with hers and placing it on her lap. ‘I was thinking that maybe we could go out tonight. I know, I know, you don’t like to go out, but there is this book fair downtown and I’d love it if you’d go with me. Trust me, I won’t leave your side.”

“Won’t leave my side? Isn’t that alluring.” Loki smirked. “Alright then, if that is what you wish for. But remember this, I don’t promise to be on my best behavior.” The two laughed quietly, ending their moment filled with chuckles with a sweet warm kiss. 

Loki was most certainly not in his best behavior. Not even two steps into the fair’s opening he already brought her to a dark corner, filling her neck with kisses as she laughed at his antics. She then tugged him to the illuminated side of the fair. Tables and tables stocked with books as fairy-lights dangled above them. The atmosphere looked so much like their library- quiet, warm, inviting. There weren't many people present, giving the place a comforting feel, just the way Loki liked it. It reminded Loki of times long passed, times where he would visit the palace library with his mother, cuddling into her chest as she read marvelous stories to him. Other times he would pass alone in that library, as he grew older. Varied novels sat on the gold adorned desk that stood in a hidden corner created by his very own illusions. He thought nothing could beat that feeling of completeness, he was wrong. Just observing her excitement made his eyes sparkled in joy. 

“So, like it?” (Y/n) nudged him with her elbow, a slight grin ever present as in every encounter. She beamed while her eyes dragged across each book.

“I suppose I do. It looks very much like something you’d like, my darling. Shall we check the books?” They walked quietly, Loki, as promised, was mischievous. Grabbing her bottom in jest with her face flushing as she swatted his arm away- him laughing at her. Silently she told him to look at the pretty covers and not annoy her. ‘I warned you, did I not?’, he said, leaving her scowling back at him.

“Look at this,” The woman grasped a book and raised it to his eyes. “ ‘The Green Witch’. My, it sounds lovely! I’ve been meaning to get into this one. Sure, I am already a witch, don’t give me that look! But it’s interesting anyway! It’s never bad to research, even though it’s something I might know. And, well, the cover’s pretty.” She chuckled shyly as he gazed at her lovingly. 

“Yes, yes it sure is nice. Perhaps I will try that, someday. But, I am looking at something else. ‘The Brothers Karamazov’, hard cover. I’ve not got into this one yet and, well, my collection needs expanding.” The god smirked and picked up the book, placing it over the one that she had chosen. “Let us keep looking?”

They continued to walk close to the tables, throwing one or two anecdotes as the pile of books in Loki’s hand got bigger and bigger. The books varied from the most shocking of horrors, like Stephen King’s ‘The Shining’, to the utmost inciting of mysteries, akin to Agatha Christie’s ‘Death on the Nile’.  Theoric books were also explored. Angela Davies, Gloria Steinem, their favorite- Albert Camus. Turns out they hadn’t read all of them. The lovers laughed amongst themselves as they passed the cheesy romance novels, picking up at least one to give it a read. Sooner than they would have liked it had gotten quite late, as (Y/n) pointed out, but neither had the desire to leave. 

“I love this place. You know, growing up I always wanted a room full of books in my house. It might be silly, but all I needed was to read a book and suddenly my problems would fade to the back of my mind. The big adventures of knights, kings and queens and their giant castles would make me feel just at home. I would sit by the fireplace in the winter, my mom telling me not to get too close to the fire, and I’d read through the cold night, not a care in the world to the freezing temperatures around me. And that thought, the room of books, would bring me peace of mind. One of these days, who knows when, I’d get a room full of books.” (Y/n) smiled at the books in front of her as Loki’s hand came to caress her back, the corner of his lips twisting upwards.

“Maybe we’ll have that, together, one day.” His arms snaked around her shoulders, turning her to face him. He cradled her cheeks as his lips moved closer to hers. “I- I love you. No one else has made me feel this way, ever. We are very alike, my dear. I also sheltered myself with books. The loneliness ate up my being, but the books made me feel alive, the same way as you do. You make me want to live life to the fullest. My love, I am yours.” His lips found hers in a passionate kiss, her arms moving to curl around his waist. The kiss felt electric, his hands tangled in her hair, making her let out a wanting moan. His tongue entered her mouth as their tongues not battled but danced with each other, a tango of saliva and intensity resembling the most devoted of lovers, as they were.

“We need to get to the bedroom.” She said, opening a portal behind them, white magic making them glow as feverish kisses are shared as they cross the border into a night full of passion.
