the modern villainisation of demeter will never cease to enrage me bc it wasn’t ENOUGH to just take a story of a girl being torn from her home from everyone who loved her and dragged away to be forced into marriage and twist and corrupt it until it was a romance story about female empowerment that wasn’t ENOUGH they HAD to take the original hero of the story the mother who went to every length to find her daughter again to bring her home and demonise her character until she was this horrific overbearing unloving mother. overprotective controlling without love. they turn the story of her grief at her YOUNG daughter being torn from her without her knowledge into the story of a misunderstood bad boy and a horrible cruel mother who won’t give him a chance and i really find it sickening. it’s ironic, that the ever misogynist age of hellenistic greece, has a better grasp of how disgusting and horrifying this situation was that a modern, self proclaimed ‘feminist’ era.

Okay okay! So I know Dogday and y/n can’t LEGALLY get married….
But in theory would Dogday consider marrying them if the circumstances were different? Or does he consider himself y/n’s partner?
Thank you for your service :)
(I am delusional and obsessed with your art)
in another life, another time, had they met before dogday became what he is...he hopes that he would've met them. he hopes that in a kinder world they could've been happier than they are, had better circumstances; he wishes he could've courted and married them properly.
he doesn't remember what it's like to be human, but that doesn't stop him from sometimes wishing he was one.
he'll be content with the life he and his angel have built now, cherish all the time he gets with them. he loves them and they love him, and he's more than content with that.
(and yeah, i think he does consider himself y/n's partner, even before he actually confesses romantic feelings for them.)

If you need help practicing pronouns, try using the pronouns you struggle with on your pets!
Animals have very little understanding of pronouns and human gender. They won't care if you use he, it, she, xie, bun, literally whatever - they only care about you and their food. They'll be fine! However, your loved ones will appreciate your effort in using pronouns, and using them properly. It's a win-win situation!
