I have just finished watching Red, White and Royal Blue and oh my god I LOVED IT! The chemistry between the two actors playing Alex and Henry was so good (I don’t get the people saying that it’s not there - Taylor and Nicholas make it seem like they’ve known each other for years). I was also kind of worried that it wouldn’t be as steamy as the book, but I was not disappointed with the amount of spice included in the film. I get that they changed or got rid of certain things from the book (June wasn’t included and Alex’s parents are married instead of divorced), but they kept all the important parts in it so I count that as a win. In the words of Prince Henry himself, it was one of the most swooniest films I have watched in a long time.

I had a dream last night about Spiderman No Way Home... where things went how I originally thought the movie would go where the villains would bust out of Doctor Strange, but without the free health care plot point (either they did it on their own or tricked Peter). And somehow destroyed the Sanctum Santorum.

Except the building in question did NOT look like the Sanctum and more like a cheap apartment building that was half destroyed. Also I doubt there was a parking garage under the sanctorum unless it was part of a disguise. Why would my mind tell me this was the Sanctum when it obviously WASN’T?

Oh and also Venom showed up this time and was protecting Aunt May and thus she survived. At least that’s how I think it went, because Eddie showed up first. But the point is one Marvel movie LGBTQ plus icon was protecting another fellow Marvel movie LGBTQ plus character.

Or at least that’s what my mind was trying to tell me. It probably wasn’t accurate.

....Actually screw it. If Venom and Eddie protect the LQBTQ plus people and Bi icons like Aunt May in my dreams, then they protect them in the real world too.

They’re mostly normal-length movies unless otherwise stated

If I didn’t rate it, it means I don’t remember it well enough to rate it even if I might have liked it at the time

6 and 6.5 means it got the job done but I disliked it, either for personal reasons or not

7 means it was okay

7.5 means I don’t know how to feel about it but it was pretty good

8 is a solid rating, good movie, solid production

8.5 and 9 means I loved it for personal reasons or not

10 wasn’t even a rating initially, neither was 9.5. But some LGBTQ+ productions are everything, which tells me more than anything that queer media is evolving. And I am here for it

I will also include when a movie is from a special, to me surprising genre
