JLA (1997) #68-85
So, this one is way underread and likely unknown to many people, but it is my favorite DC Comic of all time. It features the classic 2000's ""Big 7"" line-up, with Kyle as GL and Wally as the Flash. There's also backup JLA with some awesome characters as well (Nightwing, Green Arrow, Zatanna, Faith) AND an ancient JLA with some fascinating characters based on myth and legend.
The adventure feels like a JLA adventure. Something you could only do with comics. It's big and wild and existential. There's time travel and wacky uses of powers and mythology come to life and magic and premonitions and sacrifices for the greater good. AND (spoilers) the whole thing is solved with an incredible time-travel paradox.
Despite all of that chaos, everything is done really intentionally, with touches of intimacy and questions about morality and humanity and fate. The characterization is perfect: humorous and touching.
Plus Doug Mahnke art!

6869. More often than not, some supervillains from Coast City come to Jump thinking the Teen Titans will be less trouble to deal with than Green Lantern. Of all the villains from Coast they don't like fighting, they absolutely hate fighting Major Disaster due to how much collateral damage is caused by fighting him.

Google rank of Green Lantern Villains
Google is great as a search engine, but for this kind of stuff, meh. Three of these are villains who fought GL, but aren't what I would call GL villains. 1/2 of the Top Ten are massively overexposed, IMO.

"Yesterday's" Comic> Superman/TRS-80 Computer Whiz Kids
BW's "Yesterday's" Comic> Superman/TRS-80 Computer Whiz Kids, the debut of Alec & Shanna, Radio Shack's computer whiz kids. (Yes, I'm going through the whole library.)
How is it that a free give-away promo comic from 1980 has a more interesting cover than what you see now?
Superman: The Computers That Saved Metropolis
DC Comics/Radio Shack (1980)
WRITER: Cary Bates
ARTISTS: Jim Starlin & Dick Giordano
Nobody else wanted to admit working on this apparently. No colorist, no letterer, and no editor listed.

Buck coming out but not specifying his sexuality is so important to me. Like, I know they’ve confirmed he’s bi, but he’s not gonna 100% know that after the couple days it’s been since his revelation. His whole view of himself has changed, there’s no way he kissed Tommy and went yep I’m bi always have been always will be. The fact they showed this and had Buck say yeah, look I don’t know what I want BUT I know I want it with a guy is perfect, because he’s still working it out and often times I think queer arcs in tv are very much like here’s a character here’s their sexuality enjoy, but allowing Buck the chance to explore with Tommy without putting any labels/pressure on it is so refreshing and a lot more realistic.
