August 1960

I sat in biology listening to the teacher ramble about her life, her expectations for the school year, and some other shit I didn’t really care about. It was the first day of 10th grade, and I was already bored and felt bad. My makeup hadn’t turned out right and I felt like my hair was flat. I looked around the room in boredom, trying to focus on anything but this class, and that’s when I noticed him. He wore ripped jeans, a Harley shirt, and black and white Converse. He had long curly hair and dark skin, he was laughing and smiling while talking to Todd about god knows what. 

I knew who he was: Elijah Matthews. He was one of Andrew’s best friends and he always seemed cool. I had talked to him a few times for partner work in class and he always seemed interesting, like someone I wanted to know more about. There were rumors that he was bad, he didn’t care about people but Andrew wouldn’t surround himself around selfish people. I had a hallway crush on Elijah, but it felt stupid to think we’d be together. I was starting to zone out and stare at him when we turned around. He started to smile at me and I blushed like an idiot. 

Todd didn’t come to school the next day and Elijah invited me to sit with him on the table. We were sitting there whispering about music and actors we liked. He told me his favorite movie was “Rebel Without a Cause”, he told me I looked like Marilyn Monroe and that he thought I had pretty eyes. The teacher started to scold us for talking so much but we didn’t care, he was the only thing making this class interesting. That same day, Elijah and Andrew had decided to sit with Ruby and I at lunch. Ruby looked really excited when Andrew sat with us and he did too, it was obvious they had crushes on each other and it never made sense why they wouldn’t get together. I didn’t really pay attention to them though, I just paid attention to Elijah and tried not to blush when he called me “Monroe Girl”. 

It had almost been a month since this had been happening, but I guess my feelings weren’t one-sided. He had come up to me at the end of the day and asked me if I wanted to go to the drive-in theater with him there was a screening of “Roman Holiday” that he wanted to take me to and he knew that I loved Audrey Hepburn. I said yes, praying to God this was a date and that everything would go well.

December 1960

Elijah and I had been dating for 4 months and it had been as entertaining as I had thought. He liked sneaking out with me so we could hook up and make out in his red Chevy Bel Air, he had a huge collection of vinyls from Bob Dylan, James Brown, Chuck Berry, Frank Sintra, and Aretha Franklin. He liked taking me to movies and getting me gifts, he told me I was the prettiest girl ever. Everything seemed perfect, and I was fucking ecstatic to be with him. 

I was sitting in Elijah’s car after Ruby’s Christmas party. He said I looked pretty in my red mini dress with the white tights and gogo boots. He wanted to give me my Christmas presents since he’d b in New Jersey to visit his brothers. I felt special with the way he was looking at me like nothing else mattered, the Christmas songs playing on the radio, the white snow adding to the wintery landscape. He handed me this white and red bag with a heart-shaped locket, a Lesley Gore vinyl, and a card he wrote saying how happy he was to be with me. I kissed him and everything felt right.

“I love you, Elijah.” I could see how he flinched at those words. It was almost as if he was scared. He just nodded and kissed me, like he was trying to distract me from everything.

Maybe he just wasn’t ready to say it back yet and I guess I would wait until he did. 

March 1961

I was trying not to be pissed Elijah, not tonight. He was upset because his mom had made him leave so she could fuck her boyfriend without him being a bother to her and now he was getting drunk at this party he wanted me to come to. He did this whenever one of his parents would make him leave the house, I guess so he could get his mind off of everything and so he could stay in a warm house with food and drinks. I was watching him in the kitchen, he was supposed to be getting me the coke I wanted seeing as how I had to be the designated driver because he was going to be too drunk to drive. He was standing there talking to some brunette who was batting her lashes at him, laughing at his drunken humor, he was eating it up too!

I could blame his flirting on the beer he was drinking but it wasn’t the first time he had done this. Elijah liked entertaining people, he liked being flirtatious, his ego was bigger than the fucking sun at times, he was overly confident and it was irritating. He didn’t completely see the problem with flirting with other girls but maybe it wasn’t his fault. He had grown up watching his parents having affairs and flirting with other people openly to piss each other off. It was normal in his household so I guess I couldn’t completely blame him.

I managed to drag him back into my bedroom without him falling on top of me. I felt bad for him: he was going to feel like shit in the morning, not only because of the alcohol but because he was going to have to figure out where to stay. His mom liked having her boyfriend over as long as she could and Elijah would just have to pick up the pieces of that. My parents were nice enough to let him stay for a few days but eventually, he would have to go home. 

  He sat on my bed, drinking the water I gave him. I wanted to feel at peace with him especially with the way he was holding me.

“Why were you so pissed at the party, Bec? You were pretty much glaring daggers nto me.” He didn’t sound angry, just confused. I was just going to lie to him. This moment felt too nice and I didn’t want to have this argument, especially since he was starting to sober up. 

“It’s nothing!”

“No, it’s not. Just tell me how you feel! I can’t fix it if I don’t know why your pissed!!” 

A sober Elijah would never push me this hard. He hated arguments, he hated confrontation. It terrified him even if he would never admit that. 

“I’m just mad you were entertaining and flirting with that girl at that party! And honestly, I feel like you shouldn’t even have to ask me why I’m upset because it should be so obvious!” 

I was like word vomit was just coming out. He looked shocked and confused like he didn’t think he was doing anything fucking wrong and it felt infuriating. 

“I was just fucking talking to her! You seem annoyed when I just sit in the corner and don’t do shit at the parties!” 

“You weren’t just talking to her! You were looking at her the same you look at me so what I’m supposed to think when you don’t automatically shoot down girls who are batting your lashes at you or asking for your number?”

 I started crying and I hated it. I didn’t even want to have this argument! I wondered if he thought I was jealous or possessive now. I didn’t want to stop him from being nice, I didn’t want him to stop being social or having friends but it didn’t seem like he was just being nice to her. Elijah didn’t yell: he seemed meeker than normal. He just let me cry and kept apologizing to me.

“Do you love me, Elijah?”

“Of course I do.”

Maybe he did love me. After all: I was the girl whose picture was kept on his nightstand, and whose clothes were on his bedroom floor, he called me his “Monroe Girl”, he let me drive his car and wear his clothes. I was the girl who he wrote songs for. Besides he never did anything like having sex with other girls. He just flirted with them.

October 1962

I wanted to cry right now. Elijah and I had just left this Halloween party and it had ended horribly. We went together as an angel and devil, and now I started to think his devil costume was fitting for tonight. He flirted with another girl, after promising me he would stop. It felt like we had been having this argument for the 2 years we had been dating, and there were only so many times I would let this go. Tears were steaming down my face as I walked into my house while he trailed behind me. I got lucky my parents weren’t home.

“You promised me you would stop this shit but it never fucking ends, now does it?!” 

“I was just being fucking nice to her, Becca!! Why is that hard for you to fucking understand?”

“You always say that! Like I’m just a bitch who doesn’t want you to be happy and socialize! I’m so fucking tired! And you know what’s the worst part of this, Elijah? In the 2 years we’ve been together, you’ve never once told me you loved me!”

“What do you want me to be? I can’t be your fucking prince charming, I can’t be a perfect angel for you! Do you want me to change all my personality for you? And why are you acting like I don’t fucking love you?”

I felt heated and distraught. Elijah made me happy but he also made me so fucking stressed, angry, and devastated and I wondered if this would last another month.

“What am I supposed to think? You’re always acting a fucking fool in front of me, you’re flirting with other girls like I’m not in the same Goddamn room, you’re pushing me away like I don’t even fucking matter! I love you so much, Elijah. I’m in love with you and I want you to feel the same way! I’d marry you if you fucking asked yet you don’t even bother to speak to me unless you’re moaning my name while you’re fucking me!”

I knew that the last part was probably too far but maybe he needed to hear it.

“Look me in the eyes, Elijah! Look me in the eyes and tell me you love me, that you’re in love with me. That the words you write in your songs about me are true!” He wrote in his songs that I was his girl, that he couldn’t live without me, and that I meant the fucking world to him!

“I’m not going to lie to you, Becca! I’m not in love with you, I’m not in love with anyone, I don't think anyone is actually in love! It doesn’t fucking exist! Do you think that people like my parents are in love, do you think that marriage is going to work? It doesn’t work out, Rebecca! You’re either gonna spend the rest of your life pretending that what you feel is being ‘in love’ or regretting the rest of your life being married to someone you hate!” 

I felt gutted when he said that. He sounded cold, angry, and I couldn’t even blame it on alcohol because he hadn’t had a fucking drop of anything but coke. 

“Elijah, I am not going to be the one you project your fear of relationships onto! I thought you loved me, I thought I was gonna fucking marry, but you don’t feel the same way and I won’t settle for a man who doesn’t love me like that. Somewhere out there is a man who will love me the way I love him and clearly it’s not you. It’s over, Elijah. I’m done!”

He didn’t even fight, didn’t protest, he just left and told me “I hope you find that man, Becca. I’m sorry it’s not me!”

I cried when he left. I had given away 2 years of my life with this man and now it was all in a little over an hour. I hope I’ll be ok.

Elvis' first LP cover 📀

A LITTLE BACKGROUND STORY ABOUT THE PICTURES USED AS COVERS FOR ELVIS' FIRST LP "ELVIS PRESLEY" RELEASED ON MARCH 23, 1956. All the pictures were taken in 1955.

THE FRONT COVER

Known as the "Tonsil Photo", the picture of Elvis holding his 1955 Martin D-28 guitar (with custom made tooled leather cover with his name "Elvis Presley" blazoned across the front), as used on the front cover for his first RCA LP, was taken on July 31st 1955 in Tampa, Florida, according to Tampa photographer William V. "Red" Robertson, who took the picture.

Colonel Parker hired quite a few different studios and photographers to photograph Elvis in the 50s for commercial purposes. Williams Vernon "Red" Robertson was one of the professional photographers hired by Parker, in his case to photograph a show with Elvis Presley on July 31, 1955. Robertson did field work for his Robertson & Fresh commercial photography studio, a firm active in Tampa from 1932 to 1960. Roberton's business partner, Harry Fresh, processed and printed the images. You can see some other pictures from Robertson & Fresh's studio in here (digitalcommons.usf.edu archives).

The "tonsil photo" since taken was extensively used in newspaper and print to promote future shows in the 50s, and due to its use in Elvis' first LP, specially, it's one of the most famous pictures of the King of Rock and Roll.

THE BACK COVER

On November 30th 1955, Elvis and the Colonel flew to New York, where they register at the Hotel Victoria on Fifty-first Street.

On Thursday, December 1st 1955, Elvis and the Colonel met RCA executives, including president Larry Kanaga and publicity director Anne Fulchino, at the RCA's Twenty-fourth Street studio in New York.

JUST SO YOU KNOW: I think there isn't photos of Elvis with RCA's president Larry Kanaga (at least I haven't found one yet) but below is a photograph from another day (in the future) of EP and Anne Fulchino, publicist for RCA Victor's Pop Record Division. Back to December 1st, 1955: A photo shoot was arranged and pictures of Elvis and the Colonel, Elvis and Steve Sholes and Elvis and fellow RCA recording artist Eddy Arnold, who happened to be in New York for a session, were taken in December 1st 1955.

After the pictures with other people, Elvis was photographed by himself... a lot (I mean it). From all the pictures, four of them (posed action shots of Elvis) were used on the back of Elvis' first album.

On September 26th 1934 the Liner Queen Mary launched at John Brown’s shipyard, Clydebank.

The construction of still the unnamed Cunard Queen Mary ship began in December 1930 (the ship’s keel was laid down on 31 January 1931) in the yard of “John Brown & Co” at Clydebank. The launch was scheduled for May 1932, but the work on the ship was suspended in December 1931 due to the world economic depression. A loan of 9.5 million pounds from the Government was granted to the Cunard Line with enough money to complete the Queen Mary ship and to build a second liner – the Queen Elizabeth.

As a direct result of this most advantageous deal, the Cunard Line merged with its main rival White Star on 10th May 1934 into Cunard White Star Ltd. The Queen Mary construction resumed in April 1934, the liner was completed by August and launched on 26th September at a total cost of 3.5 million pounds sterling.

The work was completed in March 1936. The Queen Mary ship sailed out for preliminary trials and after being painted in Southampton, the liner was handed over to Cunard White Star Line on 11th May 1936. RMS Queen Mary ship first sailing was on 14th May with its Transatlantic itinerary being Southampton-Cherbourg-New York. By May 1937 the liner had carried a total of almost 57,000 passengers.

The main speed-rival of the QM ship was SS Normandie – a liner built in France and operated by the French Compagnie Generale Transatlantique line. The Queen Mary took the Blue Riband (the prestigious award given to a ship with the speed record for a transatlantic crossing) from the French liner SS Normandie in August 1938, with record speeds for both west- and eastbound crossings of the Atlantic Ocean – the average speeds was, respectively, 30,63 kn (35m25 mph, 56,7 km/h) and 30,14 kn (34,68 mph, 55,82 km/h).

In 1937, the Normandie liner was refitted with new propellers, enabling her to take the Blue Riband, but in 1938 the Queen Mary ship reclaim the honour for best speeds in both directions – westbound 30,99 kn (35,66 mph, 57.39 km/h) and eastbound 31,69 kn (36,47 mph, 58.69 km/h). This record was beaten by the SS United Sates liner in 1952.

The last commercial sailing of the ship Queen Mary was on 30 August 1939 departing from Southampton and then berthed at New York until the end of 1939. With the outbreak of the Second World War, she was converted into a troopship and ferried Allied soldiers for the duration of the war.

Following the war, Queen Mary was refitted for passenger service and along with Queen Elizabeth commenced the two-ship transatlantic passenger service for which the two ships were initially built. The two ships dominated the transatlantic passenger transportation market until the dawn of the jet age in the late 1950s. By the mid-1960s, Queen Mary was ageing and, though still among the most popular transatlantic liners, was operating at a loss.

After several years of decreased profits for Cunard Line, Queen Mary was officially retired from service in 1967. She left Southampton for the last time on 31 October 1967 and sailed to the port of Long Beach, California, United States, where she remains permanently moored. Much of the machinery, including one of the two engine rooms, three of the four propellers, and all of the boilers, were removed. The ship serves as a tourist attraction featuring restaurants, a museum and a hotel. The ship is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The National Trust for Historic Preservation has accepted the Queen Mary as part of the Historic Hotels of America.

RMS Queen Mary remains in Long Beach but recently it has been reported it is in need of significant repairs according to assessments and photos in 2019 and 2020. An estimated $289 million in repairs are needed after years of decline and the most recent operator going bankrupt.But even to “retire and recycle” the liner could cost up to $190m. One of the suggestions are to dismantle and sink the liner, although no long term plans have been finalised as yet.

The Queen Mary is due to open again to visitors next month, let’s hope someone can come up with a rescue plan to save her.

It has been mooted that it could return to the Clyde but the eyewatering amount of money it would take surely rules this out.

November 11th: Mikage turns 17 years old.

Mamiya is born in the same years as Mikage, which is 1960.

Mamiya Chida dies from illness

Mikage burns the Research Building, then commits suicide by going back in there.

Touga and Saionji met Utena by finding her in a coffin. Though they weren’t able to convince her to leave the casket on that rainy night. The next day, those two noticed a certain look in the girl’s eyes. Seeing something has changed in Utena that neither of them couldn’t do for her.

Utena’s parent’s died in an accident, leaving her orphaned. On that rainy night, she lost the will to live. Until she subconsciously met Akio/Dios and Anthy. From that fateful encounter, Utena found her strength to live. The next day, Utena attends the funeral with her legal guardian. Her aunt named Yurika, who chose to take her in.

Aunt Yurika stated, “Utena’s parents died when she was six. I was still young myself… and I couldn’t explain it to her.” Meaning that Yurika must have been 21 years old at the time. However, an age requirement on becoming a legal guardian to someone’s child is 18 and above.

1996

January 23rd: Ruka turns 17 years old.

February 2nd: Shiori’s turns 13 years old.

On that year, Shiori fell into a river. Juri dives in and saved her, then places Shiori at the riverside. However, Juri loss the strength to swim towards the surface. Until Ruka swam to Juri in attempts to rescue her. The next day, bad news occurred at Ohtori Private Academy Hospital. Juri wakes up from the hospital bed, finding out that Ruka died saving her. She can hear it from Shiori’s cries, asking why he would that for Juri.

1997

December 29th: Utena turns 14 years old.

1998

Life, family and history:

His family was working class, his dad worked a minimum wage job at the Ministry of Magic and his mother was a History teacher.

He was born very loved, he was so welcomed and celebrated.

He spoke welsh fluently and had a very strong welsh accent.

Hope and Lyall’s marriage was happy and it was obvious they loved each other. They were that leftist couple where the woman was treated like a person and the others would get all surprised. They went to protests and riots together, they were very open minded and believed that love was the answer for everything.

They lived on a farm, a small cottage on wales. The house itself was small but they had a garden and a huge space in the back where they raised chickens and an old dog who grew up with Hope.

His parents were maximalists, their house was small and full of stuff, full of books, candles, mugs on random places and cute decorations.

He was a mummy's boy, his mother was his best friend. He and Hope always had their afternoon tea together, each reading a book or gossiping about their neighbors. She loved to hug him. She always made him biscuits and she was an awesome cook.

Lyall was also a great dad, he read to Remus every night, he took Remus on walks and taught him carpentry (because that was his hobby).

Lyall made every single furniture in the house, their favorite was the bookshelf he made as a wedding gift.

They married at 22 and had Remus at 25.

They spent their weekends making picnics, playing in the grass, watching the sunset. They took Remus to the beach on the last sunday of every month for good luck and to wash away bad energy, starting the month right.

Whenever Remus got sad or had a bay day Lyall would make him hot chocolate and bring it to him.

After the attack on Remus, their relationship got a bit rocky but they got through it. Their love for their son was the greatest thing so they worked it out.

After the attack, they got extremely overprotective of Remus. Wouldn't let him go out, wouldn't let him make friends, they doomed Remus for a lonely life out of fear that their son would suffer.

Lyall didn't leave them after the attack, yes the guilt and regret almost took him, but he stayed. Because his son needed to be taken care of, he needed to be loved and so did his wife.

Their house was very secluded, they didn't have any neighboring farms or houses, so nobody noticed the screams of the change and they were safe. Remus did not go to school and was homeschooled until he was 9.

He had a cool lesbian aunt (Lyall’s sister)

They only let him go to Hogwarts because Dumbledore himself went to convince them to, saying that Remus would be safe and everything would work out. Dumbledore did not do this because he was good, he did it because he knew someday there would come a war, and that having a werewolf on his side would be useful. It was part of his strategy.

Hope got very sick when Remus turned 16. She had breast cancer. She died when he was 20.

They both accepted Remus warmly after he came out. Lyall always knew ever since Remus was a kid. When they first met Sirius they figured out he was in love with their son and that their son loved her back.

Lyall died in 1997. He helped his son all throughout the 80s, he took care of him, he helped him, loved him.

Hogwarts years:

His first friend was Peter. Peter was quieter than his other two roommates and easier to talk to at first, because he was not as agitated and as nosy. They befriended playing chess (Remus was terrible at it but he wanted to try)

Remus was very smart but he studied really hard, nothing in life came easy to him. He was hard on himself and craved academic validation.

His favorite teacher was, of course, Prof McGonnagal. He had Madam Pomfrey as a motherly figure (even though nobody would even come close to his mam)

He loved DADA and care of magical creatures, he was actually quite terrible at potions and it was his worst subject.

He was the prank master, he always came up with their best ideas, but he rarely got detention because he was a great liar and had an awesome poker face.

He got extremely close to James in 3rd year, for some reason, in 1973 they were inseparable (probably had a crush on each other). James always followed him to the library and Remus went to see him at quidditch practice. James was his best friend in the whole world, they could talk about everything with ease, no shame and no filters, James was always accepting.

His platonic soulmate girl best friend was Lily, though. Lily was one of the first people to figure out he was a werewolf, she was the first person he came out to. They just understood one another, just with a look they shared a whole conversation, he could read her better than anyone. The whole school thought for years that they were dating, but their relationship was exclusively platonic. They were like brother and sister.

Every single person had a crush on him at least once in their lives. It was impossible not to.

He taught younger students with subjects they were struggling. He made sort of a club and many people joined in, specially on exam season.

Random headcanons:

Remus is actually the most complex and interesting person. He is so soft and easy to break, he loves tea and hot chocolate and reading in the rain, he is also hard and brute and loudmouthed, he fights people when he is angry and he can be mean if he wants to.

He drinks whiskey and smokes cigarettes and pot, he listens to loud music and goes to protests and he also reads romance novels from the 1800’s and talks about philosophy and greek tragedies, Remus has layers, PEOPLE HAVE DEPTH. He doesn't just have one aesthetic or one shallow personality, Remus is much more than the soft boy or the cunt.

He started smoking marijuana at 15, his Da gave it to him to help soothe the pre moon pain.

His disability was an intrinsic part of himself, it affected his mood, the way he behaved around people, it affected his social life and as he got older, it affected his mobility as well.

He started using a cane at all times to walk when he turned 27, before that he only used it after bad moons or before when he was too sore.

He had an absolutely filthy mouth, swore like a saylor.

He appeared to be quiet and shy but when you got to know him he was actually very easy to talk to and always managed to surprise you. To people who didn't know him, he seemed very mysterious but in all honesty he was just secluded. He had trouble talking about his feelings, about his thoughts, about everything, he thought he was a burden and a mistake, but he knew how to put up a face.

He listened to rock, glam rock, hard rock, rock n’ roll and punk (and jazz when he was with his mam)

He did a lot of drugs, it was the 70s and Remus loved drugs, he snorted coke, he took shrooms, he smoked weed ALL THE TIME, he took acid, and every single hallucinogen you can think of. It was just a phase in his life, he only used them socially, on casual occasions, after he turned 19 he just stopped. He had a high tolerance for alcohol but he didn't really like to. He used drugs to keep his mind quiet but he was very uncomfortable with it because he lost control of himself, of his mind and he had enough of that feeling of helplessness once a month.

He was a marxist-lenininist, a big radical leftist (like the rest of his family) and he went to protests, walks and manifestations. He gave everything on those and sometimes got a few hits from the police. He mainly fought for workers rights and unionized since he was 15.

His laugh lit up the world.

He secretly loved puns and make terrible jokes sometimes. He was great at self deprecating jokes.

Sarcasm KING.

He ate a lot, everyone was scared of much much he ate and never seemed to gain any weight (because of the werewolf metabolism).

He loved reading the news.

He drank his tea with a slice of lemon and drank it unsweetened (when he was feeling sick he sweetened it with honey) and put just a spoonful of milk in it. He wasn't much of a coffee person but he drank it occasionally.

When he and Sirius moved in together, just the two of them, Remus gave them a wooden spoon he carved himself. He carved little stars on it and a moon, a half moon because that was his favourite, it meant that he was himself, and that he had full control over his body and mind.

He always wanted to be a teacher. He loved helping and teaching people but he was very insecure about it.

Physical appearance:

Tall, 193cm. Big nose wonky nose (he broke it a few times, either punches or the moon). Freckled face, light brown eyes and sandy wavy/curly brown hair. He was very skinny had some muscle. Ugly hot (so so so so hot). Crooked teeth and the most beautiful smile. His lips were full and soft and deeply red, almost purple.

Style:

Grandpa sweaters, wool sweaters, jeans, overalls (especially when he was taking care of the farm). Caqui pants, plain white shirts. Didn't really like wearing clothes that showed his scars, so he avoided wearing shorts and short sleeved shirts around people he didn't know well, when he became an adult he decided to not give a fuck. He wore loads of oversized band t-shirts and jean jackets.

Color pallet: Brown, beige, olive green (and green variations), petrol blue (and blue variations), mustard yellow.

Sirius was literally the love of his life, they were connected by the red string. Their love was the most raw, pure, intense, true love in the world. They were each other's soulmates. He never stopped loving Sirius, not even for a second, not even after all the mistakes he made, his love for Sirius was unconditional. They understood each other, they talked about everything. He literally worshipped the ground his girlfriend walked on. Stan wolfstar forever.

He keeps his gaze fixed on Owens — not a threat, and oh-so-pleasant — as Sirius kisses him on the forehead, then the cheek, then at last so very chastely on the mouth.

But all at once now they’ve stopped wrestling, and Remus has somehow ended up underneath Sirius, who's hovering just above him, and oh buggering fuck, that’s what this is. The way he can’t look at him, these days. The way he can’t seem to open his mouth without making an utter tit of himself. The way Sirius radiates brighter than the sun, a warmth that Remus can’t get enough of, but also can’t get too close to for fear of burning.

OH. MY. GOD!!!

i’ve been wracking my brain because i couldn’t see what the constellation in the middle could be besides cassiopeia! but i was also confused by what you meant when you said “perhaps you should look closer to where the swans swim… “ so i kept looking up constellation with swans and got the constellation cygnus BUT THAT DOESNT LOOK LIKE THE CONSTELLATION!!! so i took a break for a while. but then i saw someone posted their theories and felt like i should dive into this again before i read it! so i went back to digging because this is fun!

so i looked at the constellations that surrounded cygnus because you said where the swan swims! so maybe the constellation in the middle is around the swan! right? so there are a couple that surround it! there’s cepheus, Draco, Lacerta, lyra, pegasus, and vulpecula! and i looked at all of them.

cepheus didn’t look anything like the constellation and had no significance so i crossed that one off the list. Draco isn’t it either obviously. Lacerta was interesting because it looked like cassiopeia! but not like the one on the cover! (fun fact lacerta is nicknamed the little cassiopeia!) but it’s still not the one i’m looking for. next was lyra which was also not the one i was looking for but it was still pretty! pegasus was definitely not it. and finally vulpecula. oh vulpecula….the one i’ve been looking for. and i’m now just realizing that i could of looked up fox constellations but no. because i didn’t even think about it!!!

when i tell you i sighed so hard because it was so obvious!?!?!? lord….. but that’s besides the point!I FINALLY FOUND IT!!! the one in the middle is vulpecula!!! the constellation of a fox holding a goose in its mouth!!!

i know you didn’t do this on purpose but! something that aligns up and is really cool is that geese were sacred to the goddess juno! and she was the mother of mars!!! which you have on your cover!!!! AND GET THIS!!! JUNO’S NAME IS ALSO ASSOCIATED WITH THE WAXING MOON!!! so i looked up to see if there was any relation with the waxing moon and werewolves and get this. it’s said that if a werewolf is born under a waxing or waning moon it shows some influence on his auspice and temperament!!! with waxing showing signs of rising rage and waning showing signs of a cooler more somber personality!!! i honest to god thought this would have no correlation but i looked up remus’ birthday and low and behold on march 10th, 1960 there was a WAXING MOON!!!! LIKE WHAT?!?!? I WAS SO SHOCKED THAT IT ACTUALLY MADE SENSE?!?!? I THOUGHT I PUT MYSELF ON A WILD GOOSE CHASE (hehe get it? because of the goose in the foxes mouth?) BUT IT MAKES SENSE!!!! WHILE REMUS DOES TRY TO BE MORE CALM AND SOMBER HE IS MORE AGGRESSIVE AND HAS A LOT OF PENT UP RAGE!!! THE KEY WORD BEING TRY BTW!!! AS MUCH AS I LOVE REMUS HE IS NOT NATURALLY CALM! HE DEFINITELY ACTS MORE CALM AND SOMBER TO NOT MAKE PEOPLE SUSPICIOUS OF HIM BUT IN ALL HONESTY HE HAS A BAD TEMPER!!! AND WE ALL KNOW THIS!!! SO THE FACT THAT HE WAS BORN ON A WAXING MOON?!!!? it all just makes so much sense!!! it’s a fucking crazy coincidence and i thought it was so cool and wanted to share it!!!

but back to vulpecula i looked at a picture of the constellation and i almost banged my head on the wall when i saw cygnus LITERALLY POINTING AT VULPECULA!!! LIKE LOOK AT THIS!!!!! ARE YOU KIDDING ME?!?!?

it was starting in my face. but this was a lot of fun and i loved finding things that matched up or connected without you trying!?!?!? like that was so cool😭😭😭

anyways i’m gonna keep looking for more clues and stuff but i wanted to share this
