Former President Donald Trump and two of his aides were hit with new charges in the Mar-a-Lago documents case on Thursday.

A grand jury in South Florida returned a superseding indictment adding four charges to the prior indictment against Trump and aide Walt Nauta. Another aide, Carlos De Oliveira, the Mar-a-Lago head of maintenance, was also added to the obstruction conspiracy charged in the original indictment.

The indictment alleges that De Oliveira told another employee that "the boss" wanted the server with Mar-a-Lago surveillance footage deleted and asked how long the footage was stored.

"What are we going to do?" he allegedly said.

The alleged exchange came after Trump's team received a subpoena for the security footage, according to the indictment.

The new indictment charges Trump with two new obstruction counts and with allegedly possessing the classified document he was heard discussing in an audio recording of a meeting at his Bedminster, N.J. golf club. Trump in the audio bragged that he had a classified Iran war plan that he could not show others because he hadn't declassified it. He has since denied that he was in possession of the document.

But the new indictment alleges that he did have it and that it was marked "TOP SECRET" and involved a "Presentation concerning military activity in a foreign country."

Trump and Nauta pleaded not guilty to the earlier charges against them.

National security attorney Mark Zaid said the indictment "reads like organized crime activity," citing the "compelling" text messages and video footage cited in the document.

Former Manhattan prosecutor Karen Friedman Agnifilo told CNN that the indictment "reads like a spy novel."

"That's what you would do. You would try to… wipe out the video footage," she said. "I mean, it's just astonishing that this is what Trump wanted to do! He wanted to destroy evidence of a crime! I mean, that's really what this is."

CNN legal analyst Elliot Williams said that the timeline laid out by the indictment is "devastating."

"They start communicating about what the boss' wishes are and immediately took steps to delete this footage," he said Friday. "All of that is pretty lock, stock and barrel evidence of obstruction of justice."

Fellow CNN legal analyst and former federal prosecutor Elie Honig argued that the charge related to the Iran document was the "single most important" part of the indictment.

"Those papers he was shuffling, yes, they were classified documents, they're related to war plans, and DOJ has that document. That is now a new charge in this indictment," he said.

"And that makes that incident so much worse than just Donald Trump exaggerating or bragging or bluffing, as he has suggested," Honig added. "This means he actually had that classified document in his possession. He was showing it to others, he was bragging about it, he was disseminating it, to use the legalistic word."

But some legal experts also warned that the new charges could delay the trial in the case.

Defense attorney Ken White told Insider that adding De Oliveira was a "big change" that could "delay things a couple of months."

"I think it's an appropriate move," adding that considerations about the election timeline is "not a legitimate line of inquiry for a prosecutor."

"One thing is clear from today's superseding indictment — Jack Smith is more concerned about making the best possible case he can against Donald Trump than he is about rushing to the finish line," tweeted former federal prosecutor Renato Mariotti. "Adding another defendant can slow things down, but it also strengthens his hand."

DCxDP Prophecy Universe Part 2

Part 1

Damian glared at the envelope. He and Father were in the process of analysing the letter for any signs of toxins, explosives or other traps. Obviously he wasn’t fool enough to open a missive from a questionable source without taking precautions. So far, all their scans had come up empty. Literally. The letter was defying all their attempts at chemical or spectroscopic testing, x-ray and magnetic resonance scans were inconclusive, it defied all properties of ordinary matter. It was frustrating. It was vexing. He was blaming magic.

For all intents and purposes, the letter looked like ordinary paper, with an ordinary wax seal, bearing the initials CW. The looping handwriting addressing it to Damian was precise and neat. Swiping the surface of the letter for chemical traces yielded no results. When Damian had tried to cut off a corner of the paper for analysis it had resisted all attempts, including a laser and a diamond headed cutting tool. Damian’s only satisfaction was that when Father had grunted and taken over the task from Damian, he had no more success than his son. As if Damian didn’t know how to perform the standard array of tests!

It certainly didn’t help that his siblings wouldn’t stop their incessant chattering!

“I’m just saying, ghosts wouldn’t be the weirdest thing we’ve encountered, Red. I’m not sure it would even make my personal Top 5.”

It seemed gossip among heroes travelled faster than the speed of light.

“Really, Nightwing? Ghosts? It’s far more likely to be a meta with something to hide. Or a few screws loose.” Damian could practically hear the eyeroll in Drake’s voice “And since when do ghosts act as glorified mailmen?”

“I don’t know Red, since when do aliens pretend to be Kansas farmboys? C’mon, we deal with magic users all the time!”

“And lets not forget people coming back from the dead” Red Hood interjected over the open comm line.

“Magic is just science we don’t understand yet. Any sufficiently analysed magic becomes indistinguishable from science!”

“B, a little help here?”

“Hn” Father straightened up from his position at the lab table “Oracle, any progress on clearing up the footage from Robin’s mask?”

Grayson threw up his hands with a frustrated huff while Drake smirked.

“The program is almost finished rendering. Whatever scrambler they used did a real number on the video quality. I’m surprised the audio is as clear as it is.” Oracle replied.

“Hn. And the isotope tracer on the money?”

“Sorry B, no hits on the local sensors. Wherever the guy went it’s either outside Gotham or shielded somehow.” she said, mildly frustrated.

“Maybe it’s ghost magiiiiic” Drake sing-songed. Grayson lightly cuffed the back of his head, to which the former Robin responded with a firm shove. Their interaction quickly devolved into a childish tussle.

Damian gave an annoyed huff. “Don’t you two imbeciles have anything better to do?”

“Aww, we’re just here to look out for our baby brother!” Nightwing teased.

“Yeah, we gotta make sure your ghost encounter didn’t leave any lasting psychological damage!” Red Robin added.

Before Damian could retaliate for their needling, Oracle chimed in. “Uh, guys? You’re going to want to see this. Most of the footage was corrupted beyond repair, but I was able to pull some partial stills and, well…” she threw a handful of pictures up on the screen. There was artifacting marring them, but parts of the stranger were visible in each of them. Oracle magnified one that had a pretty good view of his face.

“Holy shit” Drake whispered.

Damian frowned. “What?”

“Dami, he looks like you. Just… older.” Grayson said softly.

“What are you talking about?” Damian snapped.

“Disregard the pale colouring for a second. The nose, the chin… he looks like you if you had a growth spurt,” Drake wrinkled his nose “and went through puberty.”

The commlines erupted into chaos. 

“Wait, wait, wait,” Spoiler exclaimed “are you telling me there’s an older version of Robin running around Gotham?!”

“Copy?” Batgirl inquired.

“Don’t tell me Talia cooked up Demon Brat 2.0!”

“Given that he looks older it’s more likely version 0.1 if anything,” Drake snarked, “though there’s the possibility of artificially accelerated growth rates…”

Damian had had enough. “Tt. You are ignoring the obvious - if this is some kind of supernatural entity it likely copied aspects of my appearance in an attempt to engender feelings of familiarity.” he said haughtily, pushing down the uncomfortable churning in his stomach. There was no way Mother would replace him with a cheap copy. She couldn’t! “Besides, the creature has obvious powers and neither of my bloodlines has any trace of the meta gene.”

“That’s ignoring the ghostly elephant in the room.” Grayson chimed in, “Maybe it’s a dead ancestor?”

Drake gave their older brother an annoyed look “Even a time travelling descendant from the future is more likely than that. And delivering a ‘prophecy’ to boot?”

Oracle pulled up an aged up picture of Damian next to the stranger’s, highlighting several reference points. “On closer inspection, there’s a couple of discrepancies. The cheekbones for one - Robin definitely takes after his mother, while our mystery meta looks more like… well… Robin’s grandmother on the paternal side.” she finished hesitantly. “B?”

They turned to look at Batman, who had remained silent during the whole exchange. If they hadn’t known him so well they would have thought him unaffected, but the tightening around his mouth betrayed his agitation.

“There’s no use in pointless speculation until we have more data to work from,” he growled, “Oracle, look for any reports of a meta matching the target. Since our regular methods have failed to yield results, I will contact the JLD about running tests on the letter.” He turned to Drake, “Red Robin, see what you can find on recent League activities. If this is another scheme by Ra’s or Talia we need to know about it.”

“The last thing we need is more demon spawn running around!” Red Hood groaned over the comms.

Damian was furious. This was absurd! To even indulge the possibility that that creature was in any way related to him was making him feel like he had swallowed battery acid. He was the Demon’s Heir! He was not replaceable! There was only one thing to do.

“Robin? Stop!”

He ignored his Father’s shout. He stomped over to the lab table, snatched up the envelope and broke the seal.

Nothing happened.

He unfolded the paper and saw the same handwriting that had been on the outside.

Brother of blood, brother of soul

Never buried but already mourned

In lightning and ice the scorned child returned

To strike down the Demon’s Head

With all that Death earned

Damian’s hand shook. He reread the lines over and over again, refusing to comprehend. He could feel his Father standing behind him, scrutinising the letter as well.

“Son…”

Suddenly, the paper burst into green flames, going up into smoke that dissipated unnaturally quickly.

Silence reigned for a few moments. Then…

“Well that was needlessly melodramatic” Nightwing remarked.

They take up a lot of space in my head sometimes...

I didn't want to dwell on this in the documentary posts but I know you guys will indulge me as I ramble a little bit.

I want to elaborate on some thoughts I had while watching the second half of Episode 7 when Jungkook went over to Jimin's.

I watched it several times. I made sure to watch it once with a very critical and skeptical eye to keep myself from straying too far...nothing serious but possibly delulu...

This part of the documentary inside Jimin's apartment was filmed on March 13, 2022 following the last PTD Seoul concert.

This was BEFORE PTD Las Vegas where Jimin has told us he talked to the members about his troubles and that's when he embarked on writing the songs that would end up on his album FACE which was released A YEAR after this interview.

It seems Jimin answers his phone in the car after the concert. Tells whoever to get ready and come over and asks what kind of chicken to order. The documentary camera person is already in the car with Jimin... who is he speaking to on the phone? When we eventually see Jungkook coming over later on in this episode, it's natural to assume he was speaking to Jungkook on the phone, who was probably in another car on his way home to his own apartment after the concert, or perhaps already home since his apartment is much closer to Jamsil Olympic Stadium where PTD Seoul was held.

Inside Jimin's residence, he talks about what he does there, basically not a whole lot: eats, sleeps, drinks, has friends over, plays on the computer, and from what we've seen since, he's not much of a decorator.

He wonders if he's revealed too much. I think this was a legitimate question for him, since idols typically do not divulge this sort of thing to the fans. It's plausible to me that Jimin has to unlearn all these preconceived ideas he's had about being an idol in order to forge ahead.

Delivery fried chicken arrives and he runs to get it and runs back to the dining table. Literally runs. The door chimes as it closes. I do love watching him eat. He surely loves his food. A man after my heart.

He talks about how it naturally came about that they needed to have their own spaces. They were maturing young men, they needed their own places even though they'd lived together for so many years. He said their place in Gangnam was so small they put up temporary walls. I believe he was speaking about the house that is now a cafe, Hyuga? He says it was scary living on his own, it was so quiet.

When Jungkook arrives, the door chime sound we hear was different from what it sounded like when Jimin went to the door to get the delivery chicken.

From this footage, we can't know if Jungkook punched in the code and let himself in. Maybe he did, but this footage does not show that. Unless someone is familiar with how that particular door chime sounds when it is unlocked, when it is locked, when it opens and when it closes, we can't know what that chime meant.

We see Jungkook after he's already inside the apartment. He was followed by a camera person. I am certain the camera-person does not have Jimin's apartment's door code. Make of that what you will...perhaps Jungkook came alone and they re-enacted him entering once he got there because it'd be weird if he was just there all of a sudden... we can't know.

Incidentally (fun fact) this is the same jacket Jungkook wore in the video of receiving the President's Award during his university graduation earlier that month (Mar. 2, 2022)... yes, Jeon Jungkook is a university graduate too. He wore a jacket with "QUIT YOUR JOB" across the back of it, to accept a graduation award.... 💀

Anyway back to my delulu...

Jimin and Jungkook are chatting at the table while eating and drinking and get on the topic of their sleeping habits when Jungkook says normally he would take a bath, drink a couple beers and go to sleep and even adds now he goes to sleep earlier. Such a grown up.

Jimin says he falls asleep at 1 a.m. so he must be getting old but it doesn't matter if he falls asleep at 1 a.m. or 6-7 a.m., he sleeps until 4 o'clock in the afternoon.

Jungkook says he decided not to live like that anymore... this the man who in early 2023 was staying up all night to do live broadcasts with us from his living room and waking up his neighbors belting out Unholy, etc... such a grown up.

And then Jungkook says 'oops, I sounded like Yoongi just then, never mind, live how what you want' and whoever that is off-camera wheezing... HAHAHAHAHAHA. Anyway. That whole exchange was... what is it with them? They ride the edge of smart-assy sarcasm and inside jokery with each other constantly. And this time at the expense of Yoongi! HAHAHAHA.

Jimin and Tae sometimes act similarly with each other but it is more role play and nothing like the long-running inside joke Jimin and Jungkook do all the time.

The vibe between them was identical to the one when they were sitting at the dining table that first night of In The Soop 2.

As episode 7 goes on, they show Jimin and Jungkook again, Jungkook is chopping mushrooms and Jimin says "You are doing so well on your own" and "Be careful" and the translation says Jungkook said "okay" but it sounds more to me like a "ayyy stop nagging" sound he made.

Jimin runs behind Jungkook again. Why does Jimin run so much? He's like a nervous, excited little mouse.

The ship wars and solo wars and stupid-things-you-could-ask-during-a-live wars over whether or not Jimin ever ate Jungkook's ramen... FINALLY, after posting all those recipes last year and Jimin saying he wants Jungkook to cook that for him, we see JUNGKOOK HAS COOKED RAMEN FOR JIMIN! Cooked it for him way before any of these wars began too... what a waste of energy.

No, Jimin didn't go over to Jungkook's to eat it, Jungkook came to Jimin and cooked it for him.

Ok, but this is the part that made me need to pause and rewind and write this long-ass post:

Jimin tells us that a friend of his helped him realize he needed to explore the possibility he was depressed.

He recounts the story as they were at Jimin's apartment drinking and they had a small argument. The next morning Jimin wakes up, has totally forgotten the argument and goes over to the friend's to help begin moving. They apologized to each other and the friend came over again that night and the friend said "I think you are severely depressed. You act like you aren't, but you've been acting strange. If you're having a hard time, tell me." Jimin said he didn't think he was having a hard time and the friend told Jimin to take some time to think about it. Jimin says a lot changed after that.

This moment when Jimin is retelling this story, "yet you act like you aren't, but you've been acting strange. If you're having a hard time, tell me." Jimin reaches over and actually touches Jungkook. Look at the way they are looking at each other?

The way Jungkook sat there, looking straight at Jimin while Jimin recounted that conversation/day/moment, chewing on his bottom lip as is his habit, Jungkook nodding during certain points that Jimin was retelling... very very brief moments where body language reveals a lot.

Maybe the "friend" Jimin was supposed to help move, the one who told Jimin he seemed severely depressed... was Jungkook?

You can call me delulu if you want. I see what I see and I hear what I hear.

They have not shown this type of closeness amongst the other members in this entire documentary. And here is Jungkook sitting in Jimin's home, while Jimin tells us this very intimate detail about himself.

If Jungkook was the one... it's plausible, the one who came over to drink, just like they were doing this evening... the one who was moving and Jimin was going to help him. The one who he can look in the eyes and recount this story and his friend can look him straight back in the eye and nod in agreement.

Why retell this story with Jungkook sitting next to him? There were other moments when we know Jungkook is there, he could have been off camera while Jimin told the staff about this intimate moment with his friend. No. He said it while they sat next to each other looking at each other.

It's possible. If not, it seems possible that Jungkook has already heard this story.

Jimin shares more than we've ever heard from him: that he falls into a labyrinth the moment he starts to ponder about what happiness is. He says of course their work and many other things require attention to detail but it's ok if there is vagueness (or imperfection) too. If you get too caught up in the meaning of things (in the importance of things), you feel like you have to risk it all to accomplish them and its ok to let some of it go, enjoy the simplicity of things and not get emotional over everything ... this sounds like Jimin has matured and has tried to push away perfectionism.

He believes he is in a very healthy place mentally right now (at the time of that interview, March 13, 2022) but can't say the same about his body, but he wants to stay healthy as he grows older together with the fans. And Jungkook is still there, but off camera.

This interview was almost two years ago. And now their first solo career endeavors have been accomplished and these two are doing their military obligation together. They've come a long way. We will see them again next year. It won't be as long as it feels.

I want a novella or short film about a team of people in the future who perfect time travel, then go back in time to the early 1950s with one mission: to save Laika the Soviet space dog.

Our guys make contact with the newly formed US Air Force, prove that they are in fact from the year 2163 or whatever, then promise to jumpstart the US space program with advanced materials & technology from years ahead. Of course there is skepticism, but eventually -- a matter of months -- the deal is struck.

So that, seven years later, when Laika is boosted into orbit, instead of dying up there... she is greeted by a smiling American astronaut, launched from our secret Vandenberg launch facility, in a specially modified Mercury capsule that shouldn't exist for another 4 years at least. Laika is lovingly transferred to our spacecraft, and her vehicle left to burn up when it deorbits.

Laika is brought back to earth, the feat revealed on national television. She is given a forever home with a loving family, the Russians are humiliated, and the space race never happens the way it happened here. It's more of a space walk and the US/USSR rivalry never truly recovers. Instead we cooperate on manned moon missions, visit Mars, build orbital O'Neill colonies by 1990... basically everything promised in a Robert McCall painting.

But before all that: the time travelers take video footage of Laika, pet her, tell her she is the best doggo ever. Then they go back to 2163 or whatever with video proof that love can transcend the forces of space & time.

Timeline of the raid on Trump’s Mar-a-Lago estate, for clarity:

2021

January 2021: Trump is stepping down as president and is ordered to return all documents to NARA before leaving office.

May 2021: NARA officials contact Trump's team after realizing several important documents were missing.

Fall 2021: NARA has not received the documents. NARA lawyer Gary stern reaches out to Trump attorney to intervene, asking about several boxes of records apparently taken to Mar-a-Lago during Trump's relocation.

2022

It's been nearly 12 full months since he's been ordered to return all documents, and 7 months since NARA told him directly that they know documents are missing. He has not returned the documents in his possession during this time.

January 2022 - After months of discussions, NARA retrieves 15 boxes of Trump white house records. Some of them are torn up, some reconstructed with tape. NARA says in a statement that the boxes contain some SAP documents - Special Access Programs that severely limit who would have access to that information.

February 2022 - NARA asks Justice department to investigate Trump's handling of White House records, and whether he violated laws related to classified information.

April 2022 - NARA publicly acknowledges that the Justice Department is involved, and news outlets report that prosecutors have launched a criminal probe into Trump's mishandling of classified documents. Around this time, FBI agents begin interviewing Trump aides about the handling of records.

May 2022 - News outlets report that investigators subpoenaed NARA for access to the classified documents already obtained from Mar-A-Lago. This indicates that the Justice Department is using a grand jury in its investigation.

June 2022 - Four investigators, including a Justice Department counterintelligence official, visit Mar-A-Lago seeking info on the classified information Trump had taken to florida. During this meeting, federal officials serve a grand jury subpoena for some of the sensitive national security documents found on the premises. They take those documents with them when they leave.

Trump's attorneys then receive a letter, from federal investigators, asking them to further secure the room where documents are being stored. Trump aides add a padlock to the room. Federal Investigators serve a subpoena to the Trump investigation, demanding surveillance video. Trump's company turns over the footage.

August 8, 2022 - FBI executes a search warrant at Mar-a-Lago, focused on the club area where Trump's offices and personal quarters were located. Federal agents remove 'about a dozen' boxes of materials from the property after this search.

August 11, yesterday, Attorney General Garland revealed that he personally approved the decision to seek a search warrant.

Federal agents who executed the warrant did so to investigate potential crimes associated with violations of the Espionage Act, which outlaws the unauthorized retention of national security information that could harm the United States or aid a foreign adversary; a federal law that makes it a crime to destroy or conceal a document to obstruct a government investigation, and Section 2071, which covers the unlawful removal of government records. None of these laws differentiate information that has been declassified or not.

The Espionage Act in particular, if violated can carry a penalty of up to 10 years in prison per offense.

The search this past Monday seized 11 sets of documents in all, including some marked as “classified/TS/SCI” documents — shorthand for “top secret/sensitive compartmented information,” according to the report. SAPs like TS/SCI are created when the sharing of specific information represents a heightened threat of damaging disclosures, or when a “secret” or “top secret” classification is not deemed sufficiently protective. Documents marked thus are meant to be viewed only in secure govt. facilities.

Tomorrow X Together drop epic music video for ‘Chasing That Feeling’

The track is taken from the boyband’s new album, ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’

Tomorrow X Together have returned with their new album ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’ and dropped the epic music video for its lead single, ‘Chasing That Feeling’.

‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’ marks the five-piece boyband’s third studio album and follows the release of the ‘The Name Chapter: TEMPTATION’ in January.

The video for ‘Chasing That Feeling’ finds Tomorrow X Together in a film set designed to look like the streets of New York. The members each take different routes, but all follow their own ball of flaming light until they reunite. As they do so, the cityscape around them twists and contorts, adding new layers of intrigue to the video.

“My fate, come and kiss me / I just keep on chasing that feeling,” they sing on the chorus. “Though I’m marred, leave me / I just keep on chasing / Chasing that feeling.”

Alongside ‘Chasing That Feeling’, ‘The Name Chapter: FREEFALL’ also includes the group’s recent singles ‘Back For More’ and ‘Do It Like That’. The former featured Latin-pop star Anitta, while the latter saw the boyband team up with The Jonas Brothers.

Speaking to NME about their new album, Tomorrow X Together reflected on their experiences with fame. “It is reality, but I don’t think it has a negative connotation,” Beomgyu said, adding that, rather than seeing that side of their careers as a “free fall”, they have “become more greedy about bringing [our fans] better music”.

Around the release of ‘Do It Like That’, TXT teamed with Manchester City FC on Roblox. The group shared footage of them meeting the team’s Kevin De Bruyne and discussing their roots with him.

The player was also surprised to hear that the members had been together for seven years – including their trainee days – responding “Already?’ and later telling them to “keep doing what you’re doing. You’re amazing.”

The field of “gender medicine” has been under intense scrutiny in recent years. This attention arises from the sharp increase in the number of children and adolescents—predominantly girls—seeking treatment, with some estimates indicating more than a 40-fold rise since 2010 in many Western countries.

Critics are particularly concerned with this previously overlooked branch of medicine because it treats what is fundamentally a psychological condition with extreme and irreversible body modification procedures that often result in infertility. This practice would be alarming enough if it were limited to adults, but its widespread application to children has prompted widespread alarm.

The World Professional Association for Transgender Health (WPATH) is frequently referenced as the leading authority on transgender medicine, and its Standards of Care (SOC) are considered the gold standard. However, even a cursory examination of this ostensibly serious medical organization reveals significant issues. For instance, the latest version of their standards (SOC8), published in 2022, eliminated recommended minimum age limits for certain interventions, removed the ethics chapter entirely, and introduced a chapter on individuals who identify as eunuchs, exposing WPATH’s radical agenda.

The release of the “WPATH Files” by Environmental Progress delves deeper, exposing the extreme ideology driving the push to transition children, as revealed through WPATH’s internal communications. These documents highlight a discrepancy between the activist doctors’ private agendas and their public statements, suggesting that their outward confidence masks a reality: they are aware they are conducting a vast, troubling experiment on mentally distressed children and adults.

The details of the WPATH Files will be fleshed out in many articles in the coming days and weeks. Rather than rehash the shocking details and revelations, I want to focus on a particularly striking aspect of the Files. This aspect metaphorically resembles a situation where first graders are tasked with overseeing kindergartners.

The section in question, titled “WPATH Knows Children Do Not Understand the Effects of Hormone Therapy,” features video footage from an internal Identity Evolution Workshop held by WPATH on May 6, 2022. During this workshop, panel members candidly discuss, contrary to their Standards of Care, why it isn’t possible to obtain proper informed consent from young patients seeking cross-sex hormones.

Canadian endocrinologist Dr. Daniel Metzger pointed out the difficulty in explaining complex medical information to individuals “who haven’t even had biology in high school yet.” He noted that even adults often lack a basic medical understanding of concepts that medical and mental health professionals consider basic knowledge. He emphasized that children do not comprehend how hormones function, as evidenced by their mistaken belief that they can selectively masculinize or feminize individual traits with cross-sex hormones, not understanding that hormones affect any tissue with the appropriate receptor systemically.

I find it darkly amusing that while these doctors express concern over their patients’ lack of basic biology knowledge regarding hormones, biologists like myself express dismay at the profound ignorance of basic sex biology exhibited by these medical professionals. Indeed, the entire premise of “gender-affirming care” rests on extreme biological pseudoscience.

Proponents of gender medicine hold the belief that each individual has a unique, unchangeable “gender identity,” akin to a soul, that can be discerned as early as three years old, and perhaps even earlier. They argue that biological sex—being male or female—is a social construct rather than a natural fact. According to them, “male” and “female” are merely arbitrary groupings of traits we have culturally labeled as sex-specific. They suggest that rather than individual humans being distinctly male or female, a person’s sex exist on various “levels,” including chromosomes, hormones, genitals, behavior, and even brain structure. Most consequentially, they believe that a person’s sex can vary along a spectrum at each level, potentially leading to discrepancies between them. When a person’s “sex assigned at birth,” based on observing their genitals, does not align with a person’s brain sex (i.e. “gender identity”), this person is deemed transgender.

The objective of gender medicine is to align a person’s physical sex with their self-perceived brain sex through “gender-affirming care,” which may include social transition, puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, and surgery.

None of this is remotely scientific.

In reality, males and females are real natural categories universally defined by the type of gamete (sperm or ova) an organism has the function to produce, and in humans it cannot be altered with hormones and surgeries.

The controversy surrounding “gender-affirming care,” particularly its impact on children and vulnerable young adults, often overshadows the critical examination of the underlying biological misconceptions. It’s crucial to challenge the flawed premise that sex exists as a spectrum on multiple levels and can be altered through medical intervention. This premise ignores the fundamental biological differences between males and females, which entails that the objectives of gender-affirming care are unattainable. Simply put, you cannot fix a “mismatch” between different levels of sex if those levels do not in fact exist.

Biologists have wrongfully assumed that medicine could not stray far from the biological sciences, given its task in repairing and maintaining healthy human bodies. Fixing gender medicine will require normal biologists to challenge the sex pseudoscience rotting its foundatiocpsn. Until then, we will continue to focus on treating symptoms rather than addressing the core issues.

Basil's backyard. There's a small cleared out section with people watching. On one end, Gwen pulls out Amable the golett. The other, Rosie stands in her Ghost of Christmas Future costume. Both girls are a bit wobbly, and Amable is concerned but ready. 

And they're off! Immediately, Shadow Sneak is used on Rosie, but a quick dodge to the left prevents it from being too critical. Rosie, as a hooded figure and making sure not to activate Basil's fairy allergies, goes full force with Psychic, causing Amable to fumble backwards a bit. 

The two continue to trade blows, back to back psychic and ghost attacks, even a Magnitude 6 for good measure, but eventually, Rosie starts to glow from underneath the cloak. She takes a running start, and Teleports right behind Amable, now wearing a Sailor Mars cosplay, missing her horns, having gained a spike right through her chest. She does a quick kick at the golett, only for them to catch her foot and throw her to the side, knocking Rosie out. Amable, in front of everyone, evolves into a golurk, and then and Gwen go to check on Rosie.
