He had killed your brother, he remembers. He looked at the picture again and hated himself for how he didn’t notice the similarity earlier. He hated himself for never telling you his past, for not letting you have a chance to hate him, despise him after what he had done to you.

He remembers the call he got while he was driving back to you. Your friend who had been watching over you rasped through the car speaker that you fell asleep. That you fell asleep forever, that at least it was painless. And at that moment he had wanted to scream.

Regarding how Thor got Loki’s hair: Could he not have just gotten it off a hairbrush Loki used? A comb?

1) Loki was in prison with access only to the things his mother brought him. Remember his father intended to leave him in a bare cell. And his priority was things to entertain himself with, like books. And he didn’t even have that many of those. I didn’t see a comb anywhere in the scenes in TDW before he broke out. And when he drops the illusion we see he looks pretty disheveled. Though that could be from grief. Also he can use magic. Does he actually need a comb to brush his hair?

2) Yeah sure he might’ve had one even if we don’t see it anywhere in the movie BUT you do not understand how much I need the angst of Thor in deep mourning wandering all over the palace and painstakingly collecting Loki’s hair a strand at a time while being overcome with grief and guilt.
