shows up extremely late to the @tricoufamily cas challenge with a half baked mafia concept like just hear me out guys hear me out....
dynamic: mentor/mentee genre: crime
sim 1: DONNA trait: boisterous hair color: platinum blonde hair length: medium extra: glasses
sim 2: CHIARRA trait: jealous hair color: dark brown hair length: extra long extra: freckles
i don't know a single goddamn thing about the mob, i've never even watched the sopranos ❗❗ now that we've gotten that out of the way
it's the late 80s, and chiarra (brunette) is fresh out of cosmetology school and looking for a job as a hair stylist. she ends up renting a booth at a salon on one condition: the property owner, a man with major ties to the mob, wants to take her on a date first. she's charmed by his charisma and loves how close he is with his family, something chiarra never had much of. within a year, the two are married and chiarra has ingratiated herself in the community, however she's quite unpopular with the other ladies. she's seen as a gold digger and an outsider because she didn't grow up in this life. but her job as a hair stylist is secured permanently thanks to her husband.
this is how she meets donna (blonde). donna is kind of a big fucking deal from what chiarra has heard through the grapevine, so she gets nervous and ends up badlyyy messing up her hair the first time she comes in to the salon. she's surprised to find that donna thinks it's hilarious – but she warns her that not everyone would've taken it so lightly, especially because chiarra's husband is not an incredibly influential person to begin with, unlike donna's husband who's like. the boss. but donna takes a liking to her, something the other wives find equal parts annoying and frightening.
through the early years of chiarra's marriage, donna acts as a mentor figure and a listening ear because she's been through it many years ago. but there comes a point where chiarra discovers her husband has been cheating on her, and she's shocked when donna waves it off as something that just sort of happens to all of them. chiarra becomes furious and refuses to accept this when she's been nothing but loyal to him. but instead of confronting her husband, possibly losing her marriage and the new family she's gained, she makes the decision to follow in his footsteps. she carries out secret affairs for a while; just one night stands and brief flings, so her husband won't get suspicious. donna finds it entertaining and turns it into a game, often covering for her. she's always been a gossip, so it's easy for her to keep an ear out for what people are saying about chiarra and deflect suspicion if she needs to.
one night, while their husbands are away, the wine starts flowing and the two of them just go for it. it's quick and they don't even particularly enjoy it because the guilt creeps in almost immediately. in decades of marriage, donna has never betrayed her husband no matter how many times he's done the same. and though chiarra is no stranger to stepping out of her marriage, she hasn't had romantic feelings for anyone but him since they've been together, let alone feelings for another woman.
donna and chiarra try to put some space between themselves, but they both know it's too little too late – and considering they've been inseparable since they met, their distance draws more suspicion than their closeness ever had. without donna there to protect her, chiarra is forced to realize just how disliked she is in her community, and how much donna had been doing to bolster her image. but she doesn't just want everything to go back to normal, she wants more than that. she's determined to make sure donna knows what she's missing out on, taking every opportunity to make her jealous and push her buttons.
this push and pull between them continues until donna learns that her husband has been arrested for racketeering and other crimes -- and it seems that the charges are actually going to stick this time. worst of all, the latest gossip is that chiarra had something to do with it. but is this just chiarra's bad reputation preceding her? would she really do something so dangerous and hurtful just to get donna back? and if it's true, what is donna going to do in retaliation?
thanks for reading my wattpad story :3 r&r plz xDD

Yandere Stardew Valley- Sebastian
I've been playing some Yandere Stardew mods recently. While I love them..... I feel like they do my husband (Sebastian) wrong. The citizens of Pelican Town are telling me that they can't hang out with me because Sebstian threatened them. That they've noticed some weird behavior. That he's physically violent. I disagree with all of these for Sebby.
He's our hot programmer boyfriend who lives in his basement bedroom, and only emerges to enjoy a smoke break, or to go see his friends. Now, while again, I do enjoy playing the mods...... I think his cannon behavior sets him up to be the perfect chronically online yandere. Pelican Town isn't exactly the most connected (6 out of the 11 rivals have access to a computer), but there's still potential. Obviously they're gonners if they have a computer. Sam finds himself doxed after making a comment about the gifts you gave him this week, and poor Haley's socials are blowing up with hate comments- from her personal insta to her photography blog.
But what about the other 5? The ones who are more disconnected? Well. It's easy enough to get Shane fired from joja. A little email to Morris from "HQ" saying he either fires Shane or his own pay gets docked..... well. Suddenly, everyone's favorite alcoholic doesn't even have a job anymore. Elliott suddenly has all these taxes he hasn't paid on his little shack..... beachfront properties cost a lot, you know. The parents stop letting Penny watch their kids after some..... explicit photos get leaked. It doesn't matter that they're edited. These people don't know about Photoshop. All they know is apparently Penny's making ends meet to support her mother..... and there's a new favorite subject to gossip on between all the older women. The other rivals are equally taken care of. All you need to focus on now is how Sebastian is the only reliable option in the whole damn town.
And he knows you so well, doesn't he? You, who lived away from it all until now. You, who WAS connected to the internet. Who had their entire life detailed through Facebook updates and Instagram posts. Honestly, Sebastian thinks that maybe he DOESN'T need to leave Pelican town... looking at the life you lived before coming to the valley, he thinks its much easier to keep you safe when he can control everything that goes on. There were too many factors to your old life. Too many parties to go to, coworkers to talk to, ex-boyfriends/girlfriends worry about. No. Sebastian thinks that city life isn't fit for the two of you to start you life together.
While he enjoyed seeing the trip down memory lane of who you were before becoming the farmer, and learning more about your likes and dislikes, he much prefers this version of you. The version of you who he found bouncing on their toes outside his door, excitedly shoving a frozen tear at him. Who eventually became the only person he was genuinely excited to have come barging into his room unannounced. And the thought of moving into the farm with you was all together far too tempting. He can picture it already. He'd set up a little area to work on his bike, he'd help out around the farm for you (he saw your hands covered in scrapes and splinters one day, and you sheepishly told him your fences had started wearing down.... but fixing a fence was another first for you. So you ended up scraping yourself up a bit on the old wood. Now, Sebastain, who, while he doesn't enjoy it, grew up with a carpenter mother..... well. He's going to make sure you never have that many splinters again.) Oh and he can already imagine it. The two of you, far away from the rest of the town, from prying eyes, no one to hear what you two would get up to as he helped you relax after a long day of working the feilds.....
This fantasy would sustain him until you eventually asked him to marry you. I don't think he would rush anything. To you, and the rest of the citizens, he was just normal Sebastian. Showing up for band practice, playing pool at the bar (although he seemed to play much better when a certain farmer came to watch). He just realized that the best way to control all the factors in town would be to remain anonymous. Avoid suspicion. After all. In a small town like that, it would be all too easy to turn against him if he decided to publicly threaten someone. And how would you react if you came to drop off some fresh sashimi to your boyfriend, only to find him being dragged out of his house by Clint, with Marlon standing nearby, ready to ship him off to face justice in the adventurers guild? No. That wouldn't do. He can't add any more stress to you like that. He'd remain the puppeteer, pulling the strings of the valley.
This isn't to say Sebastian never stalks you in person or anything like that. He can't help himself. He's a night owl. He knows the villagers schedules, has since before you even came to town. So, he knows he can get away with digging in the trash to find the straw you threw away at the bar. And if someone does hear him.... well. Linus is going to be everyone's first thought. He does, however, start adopting a stricter routine as far as monitoring your house after you mention how you sell your produce.
Sebastian was rightfully horrified when you explained that Mayor Lewis comes by your farm at night to collect anything you wish to sell. How it's such a relief to be able to just chuck things in the the bin as you're rushing to bed at 1:50 in the morning, only to get up first thing and start your day again, and not have to worry about lugging all your goods to the store. Sebastian won't criticize you for the lack of sleep..... no. That's not what's worrying. What's worrying is that this old man who has a gold statue of himself and who gets it on in the bushes with his secret girlfriend (of course Sebastian knows about that) is showing up to your house sometime after 2 am. His mind flashes back to his fantasy of the two of you, completely alone on the farm.... and then is mortified as this fantasy morphs into a nightmare where he looks up from bed with you, and sees Lewis' wrinkled face peering through the window. Yea. No. Sebastain installs some hidden cameras to make sure Lewis doesn't get up to anything funny while you're defenseless, asleep, alone..... ok he might need to get a new mayor elected. The old man might just have to go. Perhaps to a home outside the town. Regardless, he makes sure Lewis stops coming by as frequently. Frustratingly, he isn't able to completely stop it, but that'll be an easy fix once the two of you are married. He'll act surprised, "wow Lewis, that's so kind of you to help out the farmer all this time. But hey, don't worry, I'll take over. I'm up late anyways, and it's the least I can do!" But Sebastian still wakes up in a cold sweat and frantically rushes to check the cameras, making sure you're OK. That Lewis really is just checking the shipping bin.
Once y'all get married, he shows a bit more of that possessive side to you. But you chalk it up to just bedroom spicy time, and honestly find his hand tightening on your waist as Elliot asks you to read his latest poem hot.
Just. Yandere Sebastian brain rot.

So I specifically want to get my thoughts out on the Marina VS Debling thing.
Like lets look at the facts. Like the main similarities between them are that-
Marina was
- a love intrest for Colin, her first crime
- a love intrest he actively pursued
-Isn't even mentioned in their book, only Eloises making her not matter to their story and has been given importance by the writers
Debling is
- a love intrest for Penelope
-a love intrest she seems to be actively pursuing
-Doesn't exist in the books so therefore doesn't matter to their story just to be given importance by the writers
The differences we have so far are
Marina
-was pregnant
- saw colin as her best option to not be abused in a marriage
Debling
-... nothing, we have basically no information othwr than I think hes a vegetarian?? Like this man doesn't have literally anything yet from what I can remember
They have the same main 3 beats. All coming down to them being in the way of the ship. With Marina thats been a crime for literal years, her story has been twisted and her character turned into this mythic bitch that saw Colin as "the idiot he is"(actual wording I've seen)who's irredeemable. Thr nuances of her story have been stripped from her and thrown out in favor of putting her to these nearly cartoonish villian levels. It doesn't matter that she all but said "I do like you colin, just not romantically" and then later tried to nudge him towards Pen, people can't view her in any positive light in this fandom.
With Debling, you guys have been given basically nothing and have already decided hesbetter than Colin. That he's some god among men who deserves a prize for "noticing Penelope right away." You guys realize why shes never been noticed right? She legitimately can't talk to anyone, she struggles to socialize and her mother doesn't view her as a priority when it comes to marrying off her daughters. Like we see her pushing Prudence an Phillipa at people but she has no faith in Penelope. Its not even how she dresses,, though that surely doesn't help.
Colin not noticing her isn't because of this, its because they've known each other forever. Going off the assumption he started to get feelings for her/started noticing those feelings in s2, do you know how easy it is to excuse or brush off your own feelings for someone becoming deeper because you've known them so long? You just assume things, you write it off you don't try and get into their pants because you might have a crush. Not to mention in season 2 hes so depressed its not even funny. Like hes allowed to not want things to change with his best friend, especially when his last romantic endeavor blew up in his face.
This honestly isn't a great look for some of y'all who have been shaming Marina, for lying, calling her a whore, yelling about her hurting Pen or Colin, pointing at one scene where she lashes out at Pen as a testament to her true character. Like you've spent years being pissed about a character coming between thm but you're changing your tune now? Fantasizing about Colin nearly loosing the love of his life to him? Hoping for things like sex scenes between pen and this original character(do not steal)™?For a white guy whose only character trait is (maybe) not eating animals? Really?

I'm gonna need kunning palace to give me a lot of the main otp in the last episodes, we have 8 left (this is why I don't f*ck with this 40 ep rule because now that we're getting the main relationship the show is over and everything that came before was also necessary). I'm gonna need to see how deep JXN's love for him becomes, I know people are obsessed with dedicated ML but I enjoy otps where it's more equal and I love seeing a female lead protect and support her otp the way he does her, even if it takes a while like in ming lan she had completely reasonable issues and took a while to warm up to him but when she did she was 1000% in and showed just how much she loved him, I personally don't appreciate unbalanced relationships where it's just one party sacrificing and being a lot more dedicated no matter the genders.
SPOILERS SPOILERS SPOILERS WARNING MAJOR SPOILERS
Hard to say, depends on how close they stay to the book. They've been quite faithful to the novel so far but at the point we are now is where I feel fairly confident that we're gonna diverge. Because in the novel the otp gets VERY dark before they get better. There's a reason why Xie Wei has been holding himself back & restraining his emotions. He's a whole mess of anxiety & PTSD and he has to work through his traumas. Both these characters have been a burningdog.gif meme and saying everything is just fiiiiiiiine but in the novel when they finally get alone on center stage together things get REAL because it's masks off. And underneath they are a whole mess.
imo the key to this pairing, and why we don't get a love confession from her until the very end, is what she thinks when she finally publically claims him (fittingly, she doesn't claim the lauded scholar but the unhinged figure that the public now finds monstrous):
Shen Zhiyi asked: "Ning Ning, do you know what kind of person he is?”
Jiang Xuening said, "I know."
This person forced her to kill in his previous life; even in this life, he still thought about taking her to die with him. He is definitely not a good person. How could she not know?
It can even be said that she knows better than anyone else. Because she has seen his truest and craziest side.
Shen Zhiyi asked again: "Do you like him?"
Jiang Xuening thought for a while and said, "I like him."
At this moment, Xie Wei's palm trembled slightly, but there seemed to be thousands of lights and shadows passing by in his mind, and finally there was nothing left, just staring at her blankly.
Yan Lin stood too far away, no one could see his blurred expression clearly.
Shen Zhiyi also didn't speak for a long time.
She didn't fully agree, she was afraid that her Ning Ning would be sad because of the wrong choice, but she couldn't stop her, and all her worries finally turned into one sentence: "Then you really know what you are doing now?"
Jiang Xuening smiled at her: "I understand."
And not only know what to do now, but also what to do in the future.
So calmly: "I want to marry him."
"..."
That night, he asked her once, but she didn't answer, so he never dared to ask again.
But now she says she wants to marry him. Xie Wei suddenly couldn't tell whether this was real or a dream: didn't she want to leave him and go find Zhang Zhe?
Jiang Xuening also saw that he didn't comprehend. "You are really, extremely smart, but you just don't like people."
Talking about love, this person is stupid to death.
I am too afraid of losing what I have, and I seem to think that what I have will eventually be lost, so I am paranoid, extreme, and I refuse to show weakness to others and say all those words.
Jiang Xuening felt that this person was too similar to her previous self.
There are some things that I don't understand, so I bash my head against it.
She blinked, with tears in her eyes, but took his hand, tiptoed to kiss his cool thin lips."
//
Part of the reason she feels so deeply for him is their deep down similarity, but the novel is Jiang Xuening's journey to love & accept herself, letting go of the pain & shame from the past. She doesn't reach this point until the end, where she recognizes and accepts her own darkness and thus his, and also believes it doesn't need to define their future. Everyone now thinks she is the saint and he's the sinner but she knows they are both.
The novel epilogue shows they are finding a peaceful life together, the urge to fight and claw at life and each other has finally passed. But though in the last 30% of the novel we get tons of couple-time, all the gestures of devotion are coming from him. She's not ready. I frankly have no idea how much the drama will change the last 30%, and it won't land the same cause I'm sure they have to tone down how scary the ML gets...but regardless I do think we won't get a confession until the last act.

Can you write awtr and break our hearts over and over again with Clarke knowing full well what she signed up for when she chooses to be Lexa’s wife? Did Lexa ever wish that she could spare Clarke the heartache of becoming an eventual widow? 💔
Of course she did 🥺
From the beginning it was always Lexa who assumes this thing between them is finite.
That's basically how the proposal comes about.
Because earlier in the day when she'd been talking to Gus and he had brought up the subject of Clarke, their conversation had come to a rather acrimonious end because she already knew everything he was trying to say. And so when she meets Clarke at the diner and they share a salad (her choice) and a shake (Clarke's 😏🙄), it's with every intention to get everything out on the table. They've had a great summer together but things are winding down now and she knows what part of their story has to come to next.
Except... When she asks when Clarke is planning on heading back to school, says she hopes she hasn't been dragging her feet with it because she's heard that grad classes fill up fast, Clarke just smiles and looks at her like she's gone crazy because, "Lex, I'm not going back."
Which is insane. Because of course she is. Because she's worked too hard to just give up now. Because she'd thought Clarke was over this self sabotaging act and gotten serious about what she wants in life. And, ok yes they've been slacking on her early studies the last couple of weeks what with all of The Sex, but it's not like Clarke will actually be behind when she gets there—
It takes Clarke roughly 4 sighs and sitting through the tirade with a level of patience she generally doesn't possess to get Lexa to shush up long enough to explain, "I'm not quitting, baby, I'll go back eventually. But I've already talked to my advisor and gotten everything in order... I'm taking a year long break from school. I'm staying here with you."
Dismay is Lexa's first reaction. Because how can Clarke say that and still be looking at her so lovingly?
Feeling sick to her stomach is her second reaction, though to be fair that might in part have to do with the half quart of milkshake she'd just ingested.
Crying, wanting to cry. That is her third reaction. Because Clarke can't do this. She can't throw away everything she's worked for just for h— Just for this.
But Clarke, stubborn and exasperatingly bullheaded Clarke apparently has very much thought out how she wants her life to go. So she sits Lexa down at 'their' table at Gus's and tells her in no uncertain terms what she plans.
"I want to marry you. I'd do it tonight if I could, but I'm fairly sure that's unrealistic. But whatever you decide, whenever you decide, I need you to know that I want this with you. The sooner, the better," she says with zero hesitation. And it's such a surreal moment for Lexa.
This girl who Lexa had spent the better part of her life pining over on so many of her loneliest days, the girl who'd eternally felt so far out of reach and who'd never give Lexa the time of day, is telling her she wants her. That she wants to be with her for as long as she can have her, in sickness and in health, however long of each that may be. Telling her that it wouldn't matter if they had a day together or a year, or ten years, or twenty more after that waiting for them down the line. That she'd still want to marry her. Right here, right now. Telling her that marriage and commitment isn't about getting a 'good' or 'bad' deal out of things because she knows by those standards, she'd always be fighting a losing battle. But for her, being with Lexa, it's about wanting to be bonded to her forever. To put in the work of loving and caring for her right up until the... Till the end...
Nothing else in the world matters. Everything else feels so small compared to them. And even when faced with the reality that if they do this, if Lexa says yes and that she will be a widow within a year, Clarke doesn't seem to have to think at all about her answer.
"I know what it means. And it doesn't change anything for me. I know what I want, Lexa... I want you."
And for Clarke, it really is that simple.
Lexa never had a chance of arguing with that.

Would you mind sharing your thoughts on blossutch? if thats okay
more than okay !! blossutch is one of my favorite ships, but it's more like a softcore comfort deal, so this might be a little bland.
i think they're one of those couples that can have conversations with just a look. if they ever pursued a romantic relationship, they'd be the type to take it slow; one date after another, taking their time to really get to know each other - both as friends and as lovers, because both relationships are important to them.
they're both mediators in their separate sibling dynamics, but blossom takes her role as eldest seriously and doesn't really confide in people very much. i think butch's easy-going nature would give her the room she needs to open up, finally learn to rely on somebody rather than keep her feelings bottled up and freezing people out.
blossom and butch would take the time to create solid foundations. if not for the slow burn aspects of it - i do love the thought of mutual pining between them, but maybe having the maturity to recognize that neither are quite ready for something so heavy; maybe not feeling like they're good enough yet, and therefore take the time to work on themselves before reaching out for each other. - then because of a sense of 'time and place'.
i think attraction could start from as early as childhood. like a crush, that grows as they grow, kind of drawn into orbit. there's no rush. it gives them that time to carry out the aforementioned self-betterment.
but the attraction also being something spontaneous is fun too. that they spent years growing up in similar roles, with similar struggles; the irony of parallel lines never meeting is an interesting point of angst. in that scenario, i think butch finding some parts of himself mirrored in blossom (the numbness, the inability to reach out to somebody drifting away from you, the struggle for self-confidence,) would invoke the empathy needed for him to bridge the distance, but i don't think in that case it would be guaranteed that blossom would reciprocate.
overall, i like blossutch in a slow, syruppy kind of way. the kind of people that feel like an old married couple: like they've been together for as long as they've been alive. not soulmates, but fitting together so nicely that even if the romantic interest were to fade, they'd still be left as very good friends in the aftermath.
they may not have a lot of overlapping interests, and in some ways they're sort of at odds with each other (ie; butch being a high school dropout, blossom being an academic weapon,) but those kinds of things don't matter. they align on the important things: views on justice, on what kind of drink should have cold foam, on how to communicate with your loved ones.
there's a lot of things they can learn from each other too. i think that's where they benefit each other the most: not what they have in common, but what they have experienced that sets them apart from each other. they're from opposing sides in childhood.
butch is a perfect example of somebody failed by the system, rejected by the people who should've helped him, and left to slip through the cracks. he's the kind of person that blossom endeavors to help. his perspective on things is the insight she needs to do that.
and on the other side of things, blossom is somebody butch really admires. while she has her own struggles, there's an organic sense of optimism that brightens the world - she's not unrealistic, or idealistic, but her cold-cut determination to bring about good is,, refreshing. it's the kind of thing butch would need to pull himself up.
blossutch is just a feel-good ship for me all around. they bring to mind the image of lovers cozied up on the couch with blankets and fuzzy slippers, or pestering each other to go to bed when up at an unreasonable time. there's some silly unhealthy habits they probably enable in each other - such as all-nighters, energy drinks, binge-watching tv shows - and i imagine they probably bicker of stupid things that don't really matter.
it's just cute. they're cute. they're the couple you expect to outlive the end of the world, if that makes sense. whatever form that takes.
// i'm not really into the 'bad boy x nerd girl' characterizations of it i see floating around as much ? it always feels like it leans into the 'fixer' tropes, which i really dislike. imo it also makes blossutch feel flat. detracts from the kind of depth and dynamicity it could have if given the breathing room to have blossom and butch be fully fleshed-out, multidimensional characters before they get together, rather than being two undeveloped characters that become 'more' as a couple and 'less' when separate. i won't pretend i'm any better; i realize my own interpretation of the ship is kind of boring and uneventful too. if i ever actually wrote a plot-driven story around them, i'd hope that changes, but as i said at the start: this is more of a comfort for me than something i'm invested in for narrative and plot.

I LOVE UR THOUGHTS ON REGULUS/RABASTAN OH MY LORDDD
I’m almost ashamed to say that I never fully considered them to be a dark ship before, but it’s so much more interesting to see them portrayed as such!!!
(I honestly saw them as not really romantic ship, they are fond of each other, but whether they really like each other is kinda put into question. They are like couples who ended up settling in my eyes)
BUT I LOVE UR TAKE ON THEMMMMMMM 🫶🫶
Thank u nonnie 🥹💖.
Them settling down isn't an impossible thing, for sure! But going with like how the Lestrange brothers have been in the books and how dedicated they've been in looking for Voldemort post-first wizarding war... I'd say they're a lot more casually brutal and violent than the Blacks.
Rabastan and regulus definitely get their freak out first, for sure. They don't settle down for long while, not until they get the crazy and bloodlust out of their bones. Rabastan grooming regulus so young, really has reg growing up into a vicious little monster that hates what rabastan has done to him but is unable to accept how he loves him still. He hates how he's unable to distinguish his own feelings from what he's been groomed to feel. At 18 regulus is angry, jaded, and lashing out but still just as in love as he was when he was 10. When he was 13. When he was 15.
Rabastan is both simple and endlessly twisted at the same time. Simple, because he has no ulterior motive aside from keeping regulus by his side. Twisted, because he will do everything he can possibly think of to make sure regulus is so emotionally and psychologically tied to him. Think of the most caring, most generous, and most compassionate sugar daddy who wants to make sure their princess is loved and spoiled rotten. That's him. But also, he's just as ruthless when it comes to making sure regulus is his, always. There are no lines he will not cross even when it comes to hurting regulus.
Maybe when regulus turns 30 and rabastan 45... That they start calming down — when they stop hurting and traumatizing each other. When they get through the toxicity, greed, and need to make the other hurt in an endless cycle. After burning through all of that, they find themselves quite surprised at what's left beneath the ashes of their pain and turmoil. What's been there, surprisingly, the entire time: love.
They find their own version of what it's like to be old married couple. And i think they don't ever identify with the normalcy of the life they've gotten for themselves but they do find it rather entertaining. Cosplaying as such, after having the craziest years together. They settle down as close to "normal" as they can get and think of what they're doing as a novelty. I don't think it ever stops being this thing that they do. Being normal. But it's their own kind of special peace. No one can ever take that away from them.
I only see them being involved in a no voldemort au tho. kreacher still would've been brutalized and regulus, no matter how in love with rabastan, still would've gone into the cave to do what he thought was right.

Okay, I got one:
Macaque x Reader (Headcanon or short story, your choice!).
Moonlight confession, where Macaque properly courts the reader. They've known each other for a decent amount of time, going from acquaintances to friends. There's been this soft and budding, almost shy and unsure, affection that's been building between them. The reader breaks down the walls Macaque built and gains his trust. FINALLY!-- Macaque takes the reader to a valley of moonlight and shadows to ask them out, something pretty with the colors one would expect from him, such as purple and black, as he then explains his feelings for them. Just some soft tenderness for Macaque. :3
A/N: AH! My first request and the scenario are so cute!! I decided to do a quick drawing to add some imagery to it. ANYWAYS, here’s the story! Thank you so much for the idea, it really helped me get over the virus I’m suffering with.
*
*
*
From the first day you met Macaque, he thought you were just another person he was just going to push away. It happens all the time. It happened with his life-long friend, Wukong, so how can it not occur to him again. Why wouldn’t it? After all, he became a broken warrior. There was no way to regain any sort of honor back.
So when he first laid his eyes on you, sitting across from him with a cup of tea, his first instinct was to act cold. To act as a mean old cat. He rejected any sort of offering you gave to him. He refused the tea despite his thirst, the peaches despite his hunger, the bandages despite the bleeding on his wounds. Macaque wanted nothing to do with you!
But you were insistent. Stubborn in his mind, but insistent on helping him heal. The fierce determination in your [E/C] eyes made him slightly nervous to ever want to cross you. He reluctantly agreed, holding out his bleeding arm and tail for you to bandage all up.
He hated to admit it, but the soft skin of your palm and the delicate brushes of your fingertip brushing his fur sent chills down his spine. He never realized how hungry he was for any sort of interaction before. It was… nice. He almost forgot the feeling.
After their first meeting, Macaque wanted to see more of you. And it scared the living hell out of him. He didn’t want to get so close to you. But something about you kept pulling him in. Maybe it was that cute little smile of yours. Or the way your laughter tickled his ear and sounded like music. Or the warmth in your eyes that let him know that you were genuine.
Maybe it was because no matter how much he pushed you away, you always kept coming back. He never wanted to admit it at first, but your stubbornness helped him come out of the shadows and back into the light.
***
He didn’t know why he was getting so nervous. It’s been almost a few years since the two of you met. And though the two of you talked about it a few times, the idea of him courting you. But you never knew that Macaque was actually being serious.
His chest grew tight when doubts started to whisper into his six ears. What if you rejected him? What if you ran, and became scared of ever marrying a demon? What if, what if, what if?!
He anxiously waited for his shadow monkeys to come back with you. As he waited, he checked… and double-checked… and triple-checked that everything was in order. He chose what he thought was an amazing view.
Tumblr media
He stumbled upon this place a few centuries ago. The valley was still at its peak of beauty with rows of dark trees on its hills. The lonely cherry blossom tree bloomed purple flowers instead of the blush pink underneath the pale lavender light the moon provided. He remembered when the tree was just a sapling, young and innocent in the world that was cruel to him. The wide mountains and the hills were covered by a lilac mist. To have found this place was like a call from heaven, or hell, to court the young [Y/N]. The monkey sighed and sat down on the blanket he had placed underneath the lonely tree. There, he patiently waited for your arrival. And, if the heavens have forgiven him for all the mess he had caused, you would say yes.
***
Out of the shadow of the tree, you gently planted your feet on the soft dark green grass and fallen flowers. At least that’s what you felt underneath the sole of your feet. Your eyes were covered by one of Macaque's shadows. Though it took the same shape as your dear friend, it was cold. It did not have the same warmth that Macaque's rough scarred hands had against your own.
Just the thought of that made your cheeks start to feel warm and perhaps a bit pink.  For centuries, you and Macaque have been quite acquainted with one another. Two lost souls have decided to join hand in hand, fighting against the light but never joining the darkness either. Their mischief in the heavenly court and in the realm of the mortals had brought such wonders into their lives.
But for two people to spend so much time together, surely, she had hoped that they could have… been a bit more.
Maybe it was the way his golden eyes would flicker with mischief every time they would come up with a scheme to cause havoc on heaven or to tease the young adult. Perhaps even the soft black fur that is so rarely matted because of how much he takes excellent care of it, like black silk and even smelled of a mixture of lavender and mangoes. Or even the way his words always sounded poetic, rhythmic, and imaginative to one that pays close attention. How one can easily be lost in his talk and want to kiss him just to steal the words straight out of him. It would be quite fun to see his reaction, he is always so expressive and full of sentiments.
The shadows, at least 2 from what you can tell with your eyes covered and the number of hands, gently guided you away from the tree. But not too far away as you only had to walk a few feet before the sudden soft features that tickled your feet probed a warm ripple fabric. One shadow monkey patted your shoulders, a signal to sit down, and the other gently pulled his hands away from your eyes.
“Oh my goodness!
The view of the edge was quite fascinating! It was in all shades of purple. Violet mountains, lilac mist, and an indigo sky. Even the moon was a pale purple, the color of lavender. And at the edge of the purple cliffs, staring up at the purple majesty mountains was Macaque. His back was as he faced the view. The dark red cape he wore gently swung back and forth from tonight’s warm breeze. Underneath the moonlight, he glowed. He looked like a celestial god of the moon, the stars, and the entire night sky.
You averted your eyes as soon as Macaque's top-left ear twitched and turned his head to the side. You did a quick glance back and saw that, for once, had a nervous expression on his face. Normally he would have a smirk on his face and greatly tease you for small things that would have made you laugh. Or start some dramatic retelling of one of his adventures with a peach-colored monkey that he once called a dear friend before he had become king.
This made you equally nervous. If not for the dark setting and the red marking on his face, you would have never known that his face was genuinely turning red.
Your face would soon heat up when you saw the large bouquet of flowers being held tightly in his hands. There were a few branches of orchids, some pink and red peonies, roses, and baby’s breath.
“Five centuries,” Macaque started. “Five centuries we have known each other. For a long time, I thought you were just going to leave me. Just like everyone else. But you didn’t. And no matter how much you had pushed me away, you still held on. No matter how bad we fought, you still stood by my side. I can’t believe it took me so many years to realize how I felt about you”
“Macaque…” You whispered. Your heart pounded as he knelt down to your level, his golden eyes looking into your [E/C] ones.
“I wanted you to know. I needed you to know before I can ask you… If you like to… by courted by me. So that we could eventually be…”
“Married?” You finished his sentence, your voice full of hope. “So that we can eventually marry?”
“If you want to.”
“Of course, I want to, you silly monkey!”
You sat up and wrapped your arms around Macaque's neck. You didn’t care if the flowers become crushed underneath your weight as you tackled him to the ground. The two of you laughed and cried at the same time. The nearby shadows clapped at the happy couple, hooting and showering them with the nearby cherry blossom trees. You pulled away and grabbed the crushed bouquet of flowers, cradling it like a newborn child. In a blink of an eye, you can already see a future with him.
Just one more year. One more year and you two will be together. You waited centuries for this so what’s one more year?

Love against traditions
Asked an AI to write a play about, Two gay women who are in love but can never be together as they are to marry two men to keep their family line going
Here's what it wrote
Title: Love Against Tradition
Characters:
- Emily, a young woman in love with her childhood friend, Sarah
- Sarah, Emily's childhood friend who is also in love with her
- John, Emily's fiancé
- Michael, Sarah's fiancé
Act 1, Scene 1:
Emily and Sarah are sitting on a bench in a park, holding hands and enjoying each other's company.
Emily: (smiling) Do you remember when we used to come to this park as kids and run around like crazy?
Sarah: (laughing) Of course I do! Those were the good old days.
Emily: (turns serious) Sarah, I need to tell you something. I can't keep it inside anymore.
Sarah: (concerned) What is it, Em?
Emily: (takes a deep breath) I'm in love with you, Sarah. I have been for years.
Sarah: (shocked) What? Emily, you can't be serious!
Emily: (tearfully) I am. I know it's not what's expected of me, but I can't help how I feel.
Sarah: (pauses) Emily, I have to tell you something too. I love you too.
Emily: (hopeful) You do?
Sarah: (nodding) I do. I've been struggling with it for a long time, but I can't deny my feelings for you.
Act 1, Scene 2:
Emily and Sarah are now sitting in Emily's living room, discussing their situation.
Emily: (anxiously) What are we going to do, Sarah? We can't be together. Our families would never accept it.
Sarah: (sadly) I know. We have to marry the men they've chosen for us.
Emily: (resigned) I hate that we have to sacrifice our happiness for tradition.
Sarah: (nodding) I know. But we have to think about our families and carrying on the family line.
Emily: (sighs) I just wish things were different. That we could be together without fear of judgment.
Sarah: (smiling softly) Me too, Em. But we'll always have each other, no matter what.
Act 2, Scene 1:
Emily and John are at their engagement party, surrounded by family and friends. Sarah and Michael are also in attendance.
Emily: (smiling weakly) I can't believe this is happening.
John: (confused) What's wrong, Em? Aren't you happy?
Emily: (forcing a smile) Of course, I am. It's just a lot to take in.
John: (putting his arm around her) We're going to have a happy life together, Em. I promise.
Emily: (feeling guilty) I hope so.
Sarah: (approaching them) Congratulations, Emily. John, you're a lucky man.
John: (smiling) Thank you, Sarah. We're both very lucky.
Sarah: (giving Emily a sympathetic look) Em, can I talk to you for a minute?
Emily: (nodding) Sure.
Act 2, Scene 2:
Emily and Sarah are standing outside, away from the party.
Sarah: (whispering) Are you okay, Em?
Emily: (tearfully) No, I'm not. I feel like I'm betraying you and myself.
Sarah: (placing a hand on Emily's shoulder) You're not, Em. We made a difficult choice, but it was the right one.
Emily: (shaking her head) How can it be right when it's tearing us apart?
Sarah: (firmly) Because we're doing it for our families, for our culture. It's not just about us.
Emily: (nodding) I know. But it hurts so much.
Sarah: (smiling softly) I'll always be here for you, Em. No matter what.
Act 3, Scene 1:
Emily and Sarah are sitting on the bench in the same park as before, a few years later. They are both married and have children.
Emily: (smiling) Can you believe it's been so long?
Sarah: (smiling back) Time flies when you're raising kids.
Emily: (sighs) I still think about what could have been. If we weren't forced to marry men we didn't love.
Sarah: (nodding) Me too. But we have to focus on what we have, not what we don't.
Emily: (looks at Sarah) I'm glad we have each other, though. We can always talk about anything.
Sarah: (smiling) Yes, we can. And we'll always be there for each other, no matter what.
Act 3, Scene 2:
Emily and Sarah are at a family gathering. Their husbands and children are also present.
Emily: (smiling at Sarah) Do you still remember our secret?
Sarah: (smiling back) Of course I do. It's our little secret.
Emily: (laughing) It's funny how things turned out. We're both married with kids, but we still have this connection.
Sarah: (nodding) It's because we've been through so much together. We've shared our deepest secrets and fears.
Emily: (smiling) That's true. And we'll always have that.
Sarah: (looking at Emily) You know, I'm proud of us. We've managed to balance tradition and our own desires.
Emily: (nodding) Yes, we have. And our families are happy too.
Sarah: (smiling) That's the most important thing.
Emily: (looking at Sarah) But you know what's funny?
Sarah: (curiously) What?
Emily: (laughing) I still love you.
Sarah: (smiling) I still love you too.
Emily's husband and Sarah's husband approach them.
John: (smiling) What's so funny?
Michael: (joining in) Yeah, what's going on?
Emily: (smiling) Oh, nothing. Just reminiscing.
Sarah: (smiling too) Yes, just old times.
John: (smiling) Well, we're glad you're both here. You two are the life of the party.
Michael: (laughing) That's true.
Emily and Sarah exchange a knowing smile.
Conclusion:
"Love Against Tradition" is a story about two women who are in love but cannot be together due to familial and cultural expectations. It shows the sacrifices that people make for their families and traditions, even if it means sacrificing their own happiness. The story also highlights the power of friendship and the importance of having someone to confide in. In the end, Emily and Sarah find a balance between tradition and their own desires, and they realize that their love for each other will never fade away.

JEMILY HEAD CANON (ANGSSSTTTT)
(I need to save this somewhere so I'm just posting it so you all get to feel this heartbreak as well!)
We talk ALL the time about EMILY being the one who's like 'i'm not good enough' and leaving BUT CAN YOU PLEASE CONSIDER!!!!!!!!!!
It's two days before the wedding and Emily is ready to go, god she's so ready to leave and never look back not because she doesn't think she's NOT enough but bc she knows shes WAY MORE than Will could ever be.
She goes to JJ and tells her that she took Clyde's job offer she's Leaving. And JJ is flabbergasted, because she never Thought For a Second she'd ever see Emily be the one to walk away from her.
But here's the thing, JJ thinks Emily is the perfect woman. Everything about her drives JJ wild, just like her laugh when she snorts a little at the end, and the way Emily will remember a throw away conversation from six months ago just so she can give someone That One Gift they mentioned off-hand about wanting, and the way no matter what's going on, Emily will always be there for her friends. Especially for JJ. The night JJ found out she was pregnant, she called Emily at 2am and Emily drove to her house and just sat with her for hours and hours.
They've known they were in love with each other for YEARS, even if they never said it out loud, They Know. And when JJ found out she was pregnant Emily laid it all out for the first time. She said 'You don't have to do this with Will, if you don't want to. And if you DONT want to be with him, I will be here. I will be here every step of the way and I will be your extra set of hands and your shoulder to cry on and your hand to squeeze while you're in labor. I will drive to the store no matter the hour to make sure each and every one of your cravings are satisfied. JJ if you want to do this without Will, just know that I am ready to step up, step in. And I mean that I will do so for the rest of your life."
EMILY IS GIVING JJ THE OPT-IN!! She's like 'I will literally co-parent this baby with you' and JJ WANTS to say yes. GOD she wants to be with Emily but she knows how complicated that could be. How her family would judge her about it. How Will wouldn't even LET her do this on her own if she wanted to because he's controlling that way. So in the end, she turns Emily down and she decides to be with Will, properly, full-time. He moves to DC and Henry is born and they have their perfect little life together
SO NOW Emily is standing there, two days before JJ's wedding and she's saying 'I'm going to London. I think I have to.' bc obvs its hard for her to watch JJ be with Will even though they BOTH know JJ isn't happy with him.
And Emily is telling JJ she's going bc 'I have nothing keeping me here. I have no one left here for me.'
And it hits JJ like a ton of bricks that THIS is her second chance. THIS is the universe giving her a way to right her mistake years ago. Her mistake to chose Will  over Emily.
"I want you to stay," JJ whispers. It's nearly inaudible. But she tries again. "Emily you DO have someone here, in DC for you, It's ME. It's always been me but I was scared but I can't let you go. I can't let you do this, PLEASE, Emily. Please stay."
And Emily is crying bc GOD that's ALL she wants to do but JJ is literally about to get MARRIED. She says as much, like it was easier BEFORE, when Will was some far-off distant person but now he's here and they have a life together and JJ is marrying him in Two Days.
"I'll leave him," JJ offers. Just no hesitation, no stammering, fully audible, stern. And they both know she's telling the truth
Fast forward a bit. They're together now, in the way they've both wanted for as long as they could remember. They're together and they're living the life they both dreamed.
But months pass and that Whimsical Romantic Notion of 'I'll leave him if you stay for me' sort of putters out. And they're left with the realisation that even though they have loved each other for years, and they have dreamt of being together, they just Really Aren't Compatible.
They realise their attraction, their desire to be together was only ever bc JJ was Unavailable and their entire idea of being together was built from that fundamental immutable point.
Sure, they're best friends, but they just aren't romantically compatible. They TRY, god they grasp at every straw, they really really do. But their relationship just gets more and more and more strained as time goes on
Neither of them wants to admit it out loud, because JJ left Will for Emily. She LEFT Will. So This HAS to work out, otherwise what was it all for??
JJ tries her best not to resent Emily, she knows that's unfair and she really doesn't blame Emily for their failing relationship. She Knows, Logically, that sometimes relationships just Don't Work Out. But now she's put Henry through So Much. And she would rather die than put him through another break up.
Henry LOVES Emily, they are thicker than thieves. She slid into his life as the co-parent she always vowed to be. And even though Emily knows her relationship with JJ isn't working out, she never wants to hurt Henry. So she's grasping at every straw possible, trying, Desperately Trying, to make things work with JJ.
They trudge through a couple of years of being Unhappy. Until everything comes to the tipping point.
And in the end, it's JJ who makes the call. She tells Emily they cannot keep pretending this is working. She loves Emily but she's really not In Love with her. By this point they do sorta resent each other, or rather they resent the fact it's not working and it's easier to pin that on each other vs just admitting sometimes this is just how love goes. And Emily feels the same, she Loves JJ but not In Love With JJ, but god It Hurts to admit this is the end.
JJ left Will to be with her. The father of her child. Emily gave up the job in London, which would have been so good for her career.
They pushed themselves into a corner and now they have to admit it's over. And now they're flooded with all the 'what ifs', right? Was this worth it? It just turned out to be a painfully slow death of their love for each other spanning two entire years while they both bit their tongue, TRYING to make it work.
But it Doesn't Work. And they know It.
They break up. But now Emily has no where to go, there's no job in London anymore, that's been long filled. All she has is the BAU. Which unfortunately, is also what JJ has.
It takes time, but they get to the point they can be friends again. They both know it was neither of their fault that things fell apart, they just weren't meant to be together.
Another two years go by, Will is JJ's co-parent but they never get back together. Not romantically. He found love in the two years Emily and JJ were together. He's happy, god he's so happy and part of JJ feels jealous, because she Thought Emily would bring her That Happiness. But now she's single with a seven year old that she co-parents with his dad and she just feels like This Is Not What She Thought Her Life Would Be
But at least she and Emily are friends again. Emily helps with Henry all the time and he loves her. And JJ sees them together and GOD she WISHES she could love Emily in the way she thought she would, but it just never is like that
Hotch decided to hire another agent when JJ decides to step back from the BAU and work with the State Department again. She needs space from Emily, she needs space to start over, to try and find Something, Anything that makes her happy. So she takes on some work with the State Department, even though her job at the BAU is there when she wants to come back
Emily understands. Hotch understands. The Team understands.
Hotch hires Dr. Tara Lewis.
From the get-go she and Emily have instant sparks, their chemistry is strong and instant and all-consuming.
It feels Easy. It feels like what Emily THOUGHT it would feel like when she was with JJ, what they never actually could be together. She and Tara sleep together a couple of times casually, but they both know there's More between them. And Emily is HELLA hesitant to act on it, because last time she Thought she was In Love with her friend....well.... She cannot handle that happening again.
So she's cautious and slow with Tara and doesn't rush into anything serious or Defined. Tara is fine with this, because she is In Love with Emily and she will wait until Emily is on the same page, because Tara Knows For A Fact she will NOT let Emily walk away before they have  a chance to even begin
Emily tells Tara everything that happened with JJ. And she says 'I'm so scared because I don't think I could do that again, I wouldn't survive another gruelling heartbreak like that.'
And Tara understands where she's coming from and just says 'I'm not going anywhere. I know this must be scary after what you and JJ went through, but Emily, how can you find happiness if you're never willing to even TRY to see if it will work? I can't promise we'll have a Perfect Relationship. But I'm willing to Try and that's the best I can offer. Sure, maybe there's a chance we break up, but isn't that the understanding of ANY relationship? There's the flip side of that coin, which is What If, we don't? What if this is the relationship we both live out the rest of our lives being in? For THAT possibility??? I will wait for you, Emily. Because THAT possibility far Outweighs the other for me.'
And Emily knows Tara is right. She can't live the rest of her life shutting out all love just because she and JJ didn't work out
So she and Tara start dating. Properly. In Defined Terms. And it's So Easy. It's the easiest relationship Emily has EVER been in. They are so wonderfully perfect together.
JJ, after a year away, comes back to the BAU. She's found her own confidence again, she's healed, she's ready to move on finally.
She walks back into the BAU and is confronted with Emily's happiness with Tara. She sees all the ways they work together that she and Emily could Never get right. And it HURTS, god it HURTS to see Emily being able to have this perfectly in-sync relationship and it just makes JJ decide SHE was the problem all along. Clearly it had to be Her.
She has a couple of months of self-loathing and she can't even talk to Emily about it, even though they're friends again and they tell each other everything. She can't Burden Emily with her insecurities. So late one night, she drunk calls Will. He comes over. He's recently single again. They hook up.
And they just sort of pick up where they left off. JJ isn't Happy with him but at least she knows he's a good Father to Henry and he's an Okay Guy. So they get married. And she accepts that this is her life. She Tried to be with Emily and that didn't work out, so Will was the other Logical option.
She and Will don't work together anymore than she and Emily did. But she doesn't leave this time. She accepts her fate is to be in a ho-hum relationship with the Father of her son, a man who she's never able to make herself be In Love with.
Meanwhile, Tara and Emily ARE working together, they're SO in love and they are PERFECT together.
Two days before Tara and Emily's wedding, JJ goes to Emily (not unlike the night Emily came to JJ) and she wishes her well. She tells Emily she deserves the world of happiness and she always had and JJ is glad she found it.
And JJ swallows everything else building in her chest and all of her instincts to beg Emily to try again. And she swallows the fact that watching Emily over the years she's been with Tara has actually made JJ realise while she wasn't In Love in the Right Way, when she was WITH Emily...she is Now. She is Very Much In Love with Emily Prentiss, and she KNOWS the way she feels NOW is far beyond the misguided feelings she felt when she and Emily started dating all those years ago.
Because NOW, after all these years, JJ has grown to understand SHE was always the reason that her and Emily didn't work out. Because JJ never let Emily love her fully, she never felt able to accept that Emily would love her at all because JJ truly, deeply, never understood how someone as incredible as Emily could love her in any way that matter. JJ spent her whole life jumping from one mediocre man to the next, she never experienced True Love, not in the way that movies and books and TV portray it. She always thought 'settling' for the middle-of-the-road type guy, like Will, was the only Realistic outcome. She never let herself believe True Love existed and in doing so, she had held Emily at arms length the entirety of their relationship...and now, after all this time she only JUST realised that Emily Did Love Her like that. Emily ALWAYS loved her fully, truly, unconditionally but JJ was the one who had never noticed all of that and it ultimately meant that Emily fell out of love with her because their relationship was doomed from the starts, since JJ was never fully in it, always one foot out of the door almost.
But JJ swallows all of these things and accepts that she and Emily were just never meant to be, because Emily is happy now with Tara. And that's all JJ could have ever wanted for her.

Thank you for all the stories, i thought that after their endgame i would have been less obsessed, but no lol
Prompt:
April finds out about the talk that Jackson and Maggie had in s15 about him grieving April, and that now is too late, she's happy with someone else and all that lol
In any timeline that you prefer, that same season, boston, japril together or not.. I just need April to know about that!
That endgame was both a blessing and a curse, because now we need more!
I haven't watched season 15 except for a few scenes (including the one from the prompt, phew), so sorry if I didn't get Amelia and Maggie right.
___
It feels weird to be at Grey Sloan without working at Grey Sloan. Quitting surgery to go work at the clinic and help the less fortunate was her decision, she still stands by it, but that doesn't mean she doesn't miss the feeling she used to get after a long surgery, or the thrill of doing a rare procedure and be part of a team who performs miracles. She's supposed to be at peace with her decision, to love what she does though, so if that means avoiding the ER department or the surgical floor every time she drops Harriet at daycare, so be it.
After a long goodbye to her daughter (it's Jackson's turn to have her this week, and no matter how long they do this, she'll never get used to part from Harriet for a few nights), she's making her way back downstairs. She has a long day ahead, and her thoughts are focused on the caffeine fix she's going to get at the coffee cart when she hears her name. Not in a "Hey, April!" way, from someone she used to work with. More in a "I'm talking about April" kind a way. She doesn't mean to eavesdrop, but then she hears "Jackson", and, well. She's a Christian, she has good manners, but she's not perfect.
"He said what?"
The rasp in this voice definitely belongs to Amelia, and she's talking to Maggie in the next room. And April really wants to leave, because she really doesn't want to hear what her ex-husband's girlfriend has to say about her, but her feet feel stuck to the floor and it's like she can't move.
"That he's grieving? Or processing what he lost. What Harriet lost. That the whole time he said he was happy for April, he really was grieving his life with her and their daughter. And God, Amelia, he said it was messy, but what it really felt like was that I was just a placeholder. That if she wasn't married and happy with someone else, he would run to her in an instant, but that it was too late and he was struggling with that."
Amelia answers with a non-committal grunt that only seems to spur Maggie on.
"You know, when he went on his God-quest or whatever, I didn't expect him to come back like this. Now he believes, and of course that was the only thing that was wrong with his marriage. And he couldn't talk to me about it, for some reason, but of course he can talk to her and say it as if it was the natural order of things. As if there's April, and then there's the rest of us. I should have known," and to that Amelia says "no, Maggie"', but Maggie goes on, "he said he was happy for her way too many times for it to be true."
April's not sure if she's still breathing, but she finds the strength to walk away and make her way outside of the hospital before someone spots her. She finds a bench and plops on it, trying to catch her breath and to make sense of what she's just heard.
Jackson has been calling her a lot lately, it's true, and they've talked a lot, not always about religion or spirituality, but she didn't think it went further than two people being friendly for the sake of their daughter. She was glad he was opening up to her, especially on such a sensitive subject, given their track record, and feels a bit guilty it was apparently at the cost of his other relationships.
She guesses she's glad (or at least she's trying to) he's finally being honest with Maggie, because she's not sure she'll get there one day with Matthew. If she'll be able to tell him how often Jackson calls her, how she still has her former engagement ring, or to admit that she's grieving, too, more than Samuel.
As for Jackson feeling he's too late... She blinks back a few tears that threaten to spill on her face and gets up. She's a soldier, and she's learnt the hard way that you can't live in the past or with what-ifs. She can't go back there, not yet, so she pushes everything to the back of her mind, hoping that one day she'll be able to deal with it and everything it might mean for her family.

thinking about phíl handing off his daughter's hand in marriage and she's so excited! this is something she has been looking forward to for so long; she's so excited to spend the rest of her life with the love of her life! the idea of spending their first night together married makes her giggly and flustered bc they've never gone all the way before and she expects to have her first time be the soft, sweet, love drunk intimacy of a couple on their wedding night.
except phíl has other plans. he knows she's a virgin and while he was content knowing that before... he can't let her go into marriage not knowing how to please her partner. and as her father, it's his responsibility to prepare her for new experiences in life. so he does. he slips into her room at night and catches her off guard. she's so unsuspecting, she doesn't even realize what's happening at first.
but the riskier phíl gets, the less she can deny what's happening anymore. at first it's just questionable touches as he talks sweetly to her about how she feels about the marriage. he's so soft when he brushes his hands against her skin and let's one settle on her thigh. just firm enough to let her know she can't squirm away but not enough to shake her faith in him to not do anything. the proximity when he pulls her close is weird, but she can laugh it off... up until he starts kissing her neck and start pressing his fingers against where they should never have ever been. she can struggle and resist all she wants now though, because no matter what, she's not getting away. this is happening whether she wants it to or not.
after all, it's because he loves her. he wouldn't be so cloyingly sweet and loving when he eventually fucks his way into her and steals her virginity if it wasn't. he wouldn't praise her for doing so well and make sure she felt good too if it wasn't for her own good. he just wants to make sure she's prepared! he needs to take care of his babygirl because some boy can't ever be trusted to make sure her first time feels as good and sweet as he can :)

Sims 4 Fontenot Legacy - Journey to Healing
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Armani awoke this morning with thoughts that his body is not looking as good as it once did. This is something he's struggled with for a long time. It began shortly after the death of his wife Kira, and he hasn't been able to shake it since.
Anya also woke up on the wrong side of the bed today too. After what was a pretty good day yesterday, today she just couldn't seem to be happy about anything. Stepping into the office, she looked upon a picture of her and her mother when she was a toddler and found herself feeling angrier. Why did she have to leave her so young? She needed her advice so many times in her youth, and even more so now. The one person who could probably understand her best, being a teen mother herself, is gone, never to return? How is she supposed to figure these things out on her own?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Anya tried to distract her thoughts by helping out around the house, but her aunt could sense her struggles. She didn't say anything, but she knows her niece is going through a lot, largely caused by her own choices. She's done what she can to encourage her and guide her, but also acknowledges that she's an adult now, so she must forge her own path.

After the day at school, Sabrina came back with the poorest grades they've ever had. They were extremely disappointed about this because they feel like they're genuinely trying, they just can't seem to do well no matter how hard they try. This feels especially humiliating being the child of Scarlett, who, despite her ADHD, succeeded in school with flying colors, graduating with honors, getting scholarships to college, and getting her degree. Scarlett was truly a stellar teenager and young adult who achieved so much in two different career tracks (in which she only quit her job in engineering because she had already reached level 10 of the career and was looking for a new challenge). Being her child sometimes feels like you can never be great because she already did everything there is to do. Sabrina still feels incredibly lost in what they want to do in life. They haven't found any passions that captivate them enough to commit their life to, and school just doesn't seem to be their thing. Their love life is complicated, they're still exploring their presentation, but in general, they're feeling really uncomfortable in their body. They're not sure what else at this point they can fail at, but they're anticipating the next blow.

Anya got a call from Sergio today, who asked her about going on a date. Anya (somewhat begrudgingly) said to go for it. She knows both of them moving on is for the best, but it doesn't mean it doesn't hurt a little.
To try and cheer herself up, Anya made a call to Rowan. She hasn't been able to stop thinking about him since their chat at work. They had a good chat and did the trick to pull her away from her mood, and through the chat, she started to think more about what she wants. Anya made the choice to go to her first-ever therapy session. She's hoping therapy can help her process all her trauma so that she can be a good mother and wife. Maybe it'll help her get over Sergio, and possibly Rowan now that he takes up so much space in her mind now.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
It was dark out by the time she got back. She had a good first session and felt very optimistic after. It pushed her to make one final call for the night. She has decided to go forward with the wedding and has started to plan things out. She thinks getting married next spring will be the best course of action. Summer is almost over and she wants to have an outdoor wedding, so this is the best choice. Plus, it gives her (aka, me) more time to work on her career before she officially moves out. She can also work on her body and maybe grow her hair out for the wedding. She's still figuring out how she wants to look for it.
Of course, maybe Anya is denying herself something with Rowan, but she thinks (for now) that going through with the wedding is what's best.

Hmm, how about 7, 9, 21, and 49 for Nozomi and Ryosei? ^^ And then 🧸 for Hikari, 🍿 for Hoshi, and 🎁 for Tobei? I know it’s a lot but I wanna distribute the attention between all of your OCs haha ^^
Sorry for taking so long to answer, I was asleep when you sent this (ー_ー゛)
And thanks for that because a lot of my ocs tend to get completely overlooked. It's nice to see characters other than just Tobei, Shohei and Naoya getting attention.
Nozomi & Ryosei:
7 - What do they argue about?
They don't really argue a whole lot but when they do it's either about how neither of them really accept help from the other when they need it, or their small annoying habits, i.e, Nozomi has a habit of not putting her shoes away and just leaves them lying around, and Ryosei has a habit of putting empty packets back into cupboards. Y'know the tiny, insignificant stuff that grinds gears. But like I said, they really don't argue all that much.
9 - What's the most difficult thing they've been through?
Well, I mean... They're persona ocs, so I feel like that should probably be an indication of the shit they go through...
21 - Who is better at games? Does the loser take it graciously?
Ryosei is a lot better at games than Nozomi because she never used to have the free time to play them but she takes her loses very graciously and Ryosei always gives her tips and pointers on how to improve. And Nozomi really enjoys the lessons... She is making it her mission to beat Ryosei at least once, though.
49 - Do they tease each other? What about?
They're the type who jokingly tease each other all the time. They're kinda like that meme of
"Awww, babe, you had a crush of me~~"
"We're married????"
"Still..."
Hikari:
🧸 - Favourite animal?
Foxes. Specifically fennec foxes. She just loves their big ol' ears and how they jump about and everything really. If she sees a fox, she will always slap the arm of whoever's next to her and point it out to them.
Hoshi:
🍿 - Favourite snack?
Gummy worms. Doesn't really matter if they're normal or sour, he'll like them. Plus he tends to slowly munch on them while lost in thought.
Tobei:
🎁 - Something they really want?
Well, thanks to his condition, Tobei always knew he wasn't gonna live too long so he tries to convince himself that he doesn't want anything anyway. But even though he tends to distance himself from people, he does really want a friend. But seeing as now he has Aki and the rest of the group, he's got what he wants now.

An update no one asked for, but it's a little easier to vent this way. 😅
It's been rough, to say the least, the last month or two or three? I've kinda lost track at the moment. Between work, car responsibilities, home responsibilities, lack of sleep and rest, guilt for not having time or energy spend with the people I want to see . . . the list goes on. It all really fed into a depressive spiral.
The timing for my (can't really call it vacation) couldn't have been better in a way. We'll just call it time off from work.
My mom injured her foot and can't put any weight on it. We've been icing it and keeping her off her feet in the meantime. She doesn't want to be immobile, but until we get the pain and the swelling down, within reason, she'll have to stay put. I'm just glad I was home when it happened because I worry she wouldn't have gotten to a phone to call me and if I hadn't scheduled this week off, I would very likely have been at work.
So I've taken up all the responsibilities that mom usually would have taken care of, as well as doing what I can to help her. It already feels like it's going to be a long week.
Those who work as caregivers, I don't know how you do it, but I have a deepened respect for what you do. It's only been two days and I'm struggling to keep it together and cried several times out of the frustration, feeling helpless, and stress that hasn't really gone away over the last few months. I want her to be comfortable and feel better, but it's going to take some time. We both need to be patient. (Why don't you take her to the hospital? You might ask. As of now, she can't walk. When we can get her walking, I'll ask her again about possibly going in somewhere to check if anything is broken, but trying to go to a doctor right now presents it's own set of problems. My parents are technically not married, though they've been in what's called a common law marriage for years now, it's not recognized in the state we live in as a real marriage, so she can't be on his insurance plan through his work. The bills alone, she nor my dad could afford. On top of some plumbing issues we have that need to be fixed among other things around the house that my dad just won't take care of now.)
My instinct right now is to drop everything and help. To give my everything if it will make someone feel better. Then I always fall into this worry that maybe what I do isn't enough, but when mom told me that I was and she loved me for it, more than she can say, I can't help but feel like it's a lie. That temporary validation felt nice in the moment, but then it's gone just as quickly. I weigh it in my mind, should I just believe her? How do I really know? If I allow myself to believe her, how do I know that that is how she'll always feel? What if she's just saying it? Maybe I shouldn't believe her. Then maybe I won't get hurt this time. There are things I can't discuss about our relationship and we haven't always been close. I haven't got the courage to discuss it with her again anyway, now that I'm older, but it feeds into the doubt I always have. I hate that it lingers there in the back of my mind. Not just with her, but with everything and everyone (to put it somewhat simply).
How do I know if someone truly cares about me? I just feel like it's impossible for me to tell when I'll always feel like I could never be enough or worthy of it. For every part kindness or positive trait that people see in me, I'm equal parts reserved and cynical and difficult to get to know and stubborn. I feel selfish when I want something, no matter how small it is. I'm not the best person to be around all the time. It's hard to pretend that everything is okay, when it's not, especially when it's internalized. And to continually do that is exhausting. I want to tell people the truth about how I feel, but I don't want to burden anyone with it. So it's easier to withhold it. A lot of it.
Funny how I say that now, but here I am, laying it out online. Not all of it, though. 😅 I've already said too much.
Writing it out helps, I think, if you feel like you can't talk to someone.
