"Where are you going?"
James pauses at the door, face going pale and his hands admittedly start to sweat a little as he holds both the map and has the cloak draped over his arm. He slowly turns to Sirius. Oh his best friend, Padfoot, one of his favorite people on Earth.
"Out. Talking a walk. Can't sleep." His response is clipped and he's fidgeting where he stands, shifty and he knows it because he also knows he can't lie for shit. Especially not to Pads.
But he has plans. Plans with a wonderful boy who has grey eyes and soft skin and silk sheets and makes such pretty noises underneath him.
Who also just so happens to be Sirius' estranged brother. Sirius who, despite their distance, is still really over protective when it comes to said estranged brother.
Sirius squints at him for a few seconds and James has the urge to run but Padfoot just shrugs. James doesn't hesitate before he's out the door, sloppily throwing the cloak over himself and pulling out the map, muttering the password as he speed walks down the halls. He can't help but smile as he catches the name Regulus A. Black. They're not anything, no labels (or at least not yet), but that doesn't stop James' heart from beating quickly as he thinks about freckles that decorate pale skin. The blush on his features that will hopefully only get worse and worse throughout the night.
He thinks about the bruise-able skin and how Regulus' hair sticks to his skin when wet or sweaty.
James slips upstairs and takes a turn before opening a door. He sees Regulus startle and as soon as it's closed James pulls off the cloak.
Only seconds after that there's soft lips pressing against his own and he can't help but groan at the feeling. He pulls back slightly, turning his head when Regulus follows which instead causes the younger to kiss at his neck.
"Hello, love." He already sounds slightly out of it, "Missed me?"
Regulus nods slightly as he peppers more kisses against his skin.
"Missed you."

ROTTMNT headcanons bc they are legal and true
- Leo is ambidextrous
- Donnie is also ambidextrous, but only because he stayed up one night and taught himself so Leo wouldn’t be better than him at something.
- Raph is a really big sandwich guy, and has a bit of a hobby of making really good sandwiches, especially grilled ones. He specializes in grilled cheese, and can make over 15 types and counting
- Even tho he’s an artist, Mikey absolutely LOATHES chalk pastel. He hates it. So easy to mess up with and so hard to fix
- Leo is very much a skincare girlie, but not so much because he cares about the appearance of his skin, more because the routine of practicing skin care and being present helps him relax, especially when he’s having a rough sleep night.
- Splinter learned how to do his stage makeup out of spite, no I won’t elaborate bc I don’t really know. He just did but he won’t tell me why.
- As he spends more time with the boys, Draxum keeps a list of all the times he and one of the boys bonded bc it makes him feel better and like he’s making progress.
- Donnie is a *really* good singer
- Leo is also a really good singer, but he’s almost never singing with the intent to enjoy the song, he’s only singing to annoy someone.
- When the boys were younger, they would have Couch Wars, and it would start with two of them sitting on two ends of the couch doing their own thing and as time went on, they would subconsciously move more toward the middle until the inevitable “get out of my space!!” Argument. What they would then do is use their legs to kick and SLAM each other until someone gave up or got hurt, or until the noise got so loud splinter would beg them to stop (this one is based off me and my older brother and twin lmao)
- Mikey can do an excellent Australian accent
- One time Raph was woken up from a nap and was asked to help do chores, and he was so sleepy and distraught that he cried.
- Leo is a bookworm and has read entire books in one day
- Donnie made everyone design and practice their signatures bc he just did.

Lucy heavily sighed as she exited the women’s locker room. Her eyes were heavy, and she didn’t even go out on patrol. However, it did feel like it in a way, she and Tim spent their entire shift chasing after a slippery kid. Now all Lucy wants to do is go home, drink some wine, and cuddle with Tim on the couch. Too much to ask for, right?
When she walked down the hall, she nearly bumped into a guy, he was a bit taller than her, he had a briefcase in his hand, and he was wearing a suit. He had been looking down at his phone, he seemed frustrated. But after a near head collision, he looked into her eyes. Lucy stood still, her eyes were widened in fear.
“…Lucy, hey.”
Her eyes dropped to the floor, “Hey, Chris.”
“I’m surprised you’re still here at this time. I kinda expected you to be at home by now.”
Before she opened her mouth to speak, Tim cut her off, he had a wide smile as he approached them, he placed his hand on her lower back, “Luce, you ready to go? I know you’re pretty tired, so I was thinking I would just make dinner tonight.”
“So, you two are a thing now?” He asked, causing Tim to look at him.
Tim shoved his hands into his pockets as he sighed. As odd as it sounds, he never really thought he’d see him again, “‘Sup, Chris…” he greeted him dryly.
“Nothing much—I’m still single since I’m still trying to process the sudden breakup.”
“—It happened three months ago, Chris.”
He scoffed, “Yeah, and you’ve clearly gotten over it quickly.”
“Chris, you don’t have the right to talk to her like that, Chris — check your attitude,” Tim snapped.
He chuckled forcefully, he began to close the space between him and Tim, “Don’t even get me started with you, Tim. I came to you for advice, just for you to swoop in and take her all for yourself?” He pressed his index finger against his chest.
“Hey, what can I say? It’s not my fault she didn’t have a single pint of interest in you.”
“Like that makes anything better? When I asked you for advice you knew that the breakup was coming! And yet, you just played along like everything was perfectly fine! But I should’ve known, you’ve always given me ‘bitch’ vibes from the start.”
Tim frowned at his choice of words, as he began to step closer to Chris , “The hell did you say?”
Lucy placed her hands on Tim’s chest to back him away from Chris, “Tim, listen to me, just ignore him, okay? He’s just upset, and I’m sure he doesn’t mean it—”
“—Look at you, Lucy…trying to be the peacemaker of it all as if you didn’t start this entire debacle.”
Her eye twitched as she turned to look at him, “Chris…listen to me—I get that you’re upset. And you have every right, but the least you can do is be respectful, you have absolutely no reason to be mad at Tim. And I get it the breakup was sudden, but…you should’ve seen it coming, that’s on you. I’ve shown you the signs, it wasn’t fair to you to continue on with a relationship that I didn’t even cater to. You deserve to be in a relationship with someone that actually wants the things that you want, who actually loves you, ‘cause in all honesty, I never did. Which was kinda obvious given that I never called you my ‘boyfriend’ once. The only person you can be mad at is yourself, Chris. You ignored the signs.”
“I didn’t want to accept the possibility that you might not…love me.”
“Well, that’s on you, Chris,” Lucy whispered, “Have a good night.”
…If he can.
