I started this one right after The Masquerades of Spring came out, but I've been so busy since September that I haven't had a chance to finish it yet. But I decided to scan some of my WIPs, so here's a bit of the pencil sketch of a Nightingale, who I think I've finally settled on a face for! This is present day Nightingale rather than the 1920s version, who I absolutely have to draw at some point as well, and the plan is to use the aroace flag as an inspiration for the colour palette because I'm still very emotional about that being canon now.

I haven't had any finished art to post in months because I've been horrendously busy with other work, so I thought I'd scan some of my WIPs!

This is about 95% of the pencil sketch for a redraw of one of the earliest Ironwood drawings I did, years back when I was still figuring out how I wanted to draw anime style characters in my own style specifically so that I could draw this man over and over again. I've been having a lot of fun really going ham with the details and putting some proper effort into the anatomy, which are some of the major areas where I've improved in the last 6+ years. Also, I just hadn't drawn an original flavour Ironwood in forever and I wanted to remind myself how his face works without the beard. I've shifted how I draw his face a little over the years, and I'm pretty happy with what I've settled on now.
