What are prompt submissions and prompt voting? I'm confused as to how this event is meant to work

Hi! The way this event works is that you can make fanworks based on prompts. In the “prompt submission” period, we’ll put out a form through which you can submit said prompts. For example, to take common ones: “family”, “hair”, or “gender/sexuality”. Once the submission period is over, we’ll put out a different form, in which you can vote for which of the previously submitted prompts you like best. Eventually, we’ll post the final prompt list based on the submissions and the voting.

The event will be a week long, and each day there will be about two prompts. For example, day two may be “family” and “hair”, and people can post fanworks based on those prompts on that day. (The two prompts are so that people have more choice, you don’t need to incorporate both.) You can always submit your fanworks late (I think we said we’ll check the blog up to two weeks, but if you message us it can be later still), and the prompts are meant to inspire, not limit you. Ergo, the last day will also be a “free day”, for which you can submit works that don’t fit any of the prompts.

I enjoy stardew valley, will wood, and saiki k, my favourite subject is physics and my favourite part of history is ancient mesopotamia. I really like programming and creating video games as well :D
