Back with some magma doodles to share!! Last week's dfpu magma session had a lovely flower board that inspired some silly fairy sun art (ft. a certain citrusy snail that snuck in later hehe) I haven't drawn any fairies in a long time! Thinking about revisiting this design later to try and push it a little further... maybe make it more floral-y 👀 As always, thanks again @daycarefriendpickup for hosting!!

There is a Convention in Gotham. It's too bad, unbeknownst to the people enjoying the convention. There are a bunch of Mini Joker bombs with gas hidden in the convention center. Who did it? Lex Luthor & Joker collab? Who's to say Joker didn't get some gas containers confiscated before he got a chance to set them off, and somebody else like Lex managed to bribe or steal some so they could blame the Joker for something they did instead? The worst part is, though tickets were sold out months ago, the only way in now is by putting on a performance, as the performer would need to be able to get in. When the Batfam finds out that there are hundreds of mini-joker gas bombs planted around the convention center. They have to get them disarmed as soon as possible. Yes, Bruce has to call in and get costumes to be tailor-made in a rush. But what to go in so that it will seem like a coherent group? Looking for inspiration, he looks at the kids' group chat, sees a GIF of Sailor Moon, and some joking about Damien being as bratty as Mini Moon. Quick sketch later, he figures the group has enough members so he can call more hands on deck if necessary. SailorFuku distribution; Moon: Bruce, Mini-moon: Damian, Mercury: Babs, Venus: Dick, Mars: Tim, Jupiter: Duke, Saturn: Jason, Neptune: Cass, Uranus: Steph, Pluto: Kate. If you wanna add more Bat fam members like Luke, Terry, Mat, etc. Sailor Cosmos / Chibi Chibi, Vesta, Pallas, Ceres, Juno. Star Maker, Star Fighter, and Star Healer. Kousagi, Kakyuu, and Tuxedo Mask Can be added to the mix. This is just a silly idea I had anyway. and this is about all of it.

I dont think remus gets hornier around the full moon. I do like the idea that the further from the full, the easier it is to get him in the mood.

He, canonically speaking, doesnt like anything that reminds him of his lycanthropy, including his patronus shaped like a wolf. Part of it is due to the stigmatization and exclusion from the society he experiences as well as internalized self hate, but I do believe at least part of it is that he associates it with everything he fears - loosing control and pain. He gets sick for a few days before and after the full, during which he is very weak. The transformation is painful and sometimes leaves him hurt or wounded. Afterwards he is exhausted and again, in pain.

For me this doesnt sound like the greatest set up for sex. I think Remus gets moody and irritable, snappish and acts like he hates everything and everyone (Sirius has to fight tooth and nail just to get him under the blanket for a cuddle). The way I see the full moon's physical influence is comparable to getting a flu, rather than being on a period*. Someone in the replies to that one post mentioned a change in hormones, but unless you hc him as trans*, I dont really see how the full moon would cause that?

So, I would say the further from the full, the easier is to get him in the mood (not that the new moon causes him to be horny, but one might come to that conclusion, when he is - in comparison - more horny around the new moon than the full. this is just his regular level of horny, that gets suppressed when he is in a stressful situation & experiences pain and fatigue)

*That doesnt mean I dont see the parallels and analogies etc. Remus as a werewolf has a cycle and it makes it very easy to hc him as trans (for many reasons, not just bc of the cycle, obviously). And I do love a trans remus hc with all my heart <333 But then the change in hormones / having a cycle is an addition to or a stand in for the full moon transformation, not a direct result of the full moon.

Oh I love the stars I am channeling all my current wonder and happiness into admitting that gazing upon the sky even in such a lacklustre way, I still feel truly inspired and affected by such a natural beauty that the light from the distant flaming balls of hot mass allow me to see true worth and joy within my own, small in comparison, life. a sight to behold for eyes so hungry for a purpose, a sight for the damned and a sight for the holy.
