This boy deserves so much love so if you give it to him he'll go above and beyond for you. Seriously all you have to do is give him a little kiss and suddenly he feels he can take on all the realms, you give him strength and honestly that's all that matters. He's not afraid to show off his affection to you, a bit unorthodox for a monk but then again, mortal kombat is no place for any other kind of monk than liu kang and kung lao. So he literally is the exception. Not that anything would ever stop him from declaring how proud he is to be yours.

Kung lao likes giving gifts but frets over it more than he should, its something he wants to be "perfect" something that exactly shows how much he loves you. He settles on simple, thoughtful gifts. Expect something handmade, he likes to actually make little wooden figures so expect a small little carving of your favorite animal (no he doesn't use his hat to carve them. Although he'd probably try if you asked him to)

Kung lao would die for you, much to your and his allies screaming "PLEASE DON'T" but don't be too alarmed because he is a shaolin warrior who won't go down easy. Even if you can perfectly defend yourself, kung lao would still fight for you regardless.

THIS MAN DESERVES LOVE AND PEACE AND HAPPINESS you are quite literally the light of his life and jax will make sure you know it. Everyone else be damned, he is a loyal husband material guy. 100% to settle down with you

Very simple, sweet "klassic" gifts like flowers and chocolates and those funny little dog cards with the hearts and everything. But ultimately he's more of an "acts of service" guy, jax would rather just do things for you to show he loves you. Especially massages, he's really good at giving massages (he also likes receiving too so don't forget~)

Don't mess with jax's sweetheart like seriously, anything bad happens to you there will be hell to pay. And jax will personally get a few extra punches in the sorry person's face just for you. But ultimately he just wants you to be safe and happy

Kitana

In public, kitana is a bit more reserved to keep up appearances but she certainly won't deny you a kiss on the hand. In private she's much more verbal and expect a lot more kisses too.

Kitana likes giving gifts but spending quality time is mostly her love language. Since she's busy most of the time, time is more valuable than any mere gift. But if you do receive any gifts, they're going to be luxurious

Mileena

Mileena is going to be very affectionate with her sweetie, so if anyone else even gives you a suggestive look or a judgmental glare she's going to bite their throat out. Mileena may lick others to make them squick before stabbing them, but mileena will lick you with love and affection.

Mileena loves to give you cute gifts, she likes cute things. Expect a lot of plushies and sweets. But mileena also expects a lot of cute gifts in return, if you want her to be happy and not "stabby" give her some candy and a soft teddy bear. She also likes to kill for you if you're into that

No one is going to keep their flesh on their body and hurt you at the same time. Mileena is fiercely protective of the one who looks at her bare face and calls her pretty in the most sincere way. She is literally ride or die, and the "die" part is gonna be someone else eventually

Baraka

Why you're with baraka no one knows. But baraka takes the relationship seriously, there is definitely going to be some "culture shock" but if you are going to win Baraka's heart, you definitely have to be interested in his culture. Which is brutal but not always so surprisingly, as with anything, they're not total savages to the point like others describe tarkatans. So having an open mind to understand that they are a violent meat eating people they also are nomadic and have a very close bond with each other

Expect meat to be the main gift you're getting, raw or otherwise. Although baraka isn't much of the gift giving type, he actually likes talking with you more than anything. But as for the nicest gift you'll get? A flute made out of the bones of your (or his) enemy.

Baraka expects you to defend yourself but he won't stand for anyone hurting you. No one expected baraka to be so vicious for someone else, but that is their last mistake.

Kintaro

Kintaro is mostly the same as goro in terms of showing affection, the only difference being he is much more "possessive" and prone to jealousy than goro. He's going to have a certain "aggression" to his affections

Don't expect any gifts that isn't the heads of your or his enemies. He mostly a physical kind of affectionate guy anyways. Although his one weakness is chin scratches, do what you will with that information.

Whoever is dumb enough to piss off kintaro by hurting their lover is going to have 0 limbs attached to their body, that is if they don't get burnt to a crisp and smashed to a gooey paste first

Shao kahn

You must have done something right (or wrong) to earn shao Kahn's love. But you're definitely going to get shown off by shao kahn just like he shows off his literally everything else. He loves to brag and especially about his lover

You literally can have anything you want, say the words and its yours by any means necessary. Although shao kahn expects a little something in return, what that is depends on his mood. Even to his lover, he's gotta have something too. Even if you don't ask for anything, you're getting something. Whether that be jewelry, clothes, treasures of all kinds, rare exotic meals. Basically anything he conquers, you're getting the good stuff (providing of course there's enough for him too)

No one is going to dare hurt you or use you against him. Shao Kahn is sure to make anyone suffer a fate worse than death for such an insult. Anything bad happening to you is very personal. Although even if you're minorly upset at something, shao kahn has no qualms to just killing whoever made you upset right off the bat. So maybe you'll have to be careful if you don't want that absolutely unnecessary and dramatic gore fest

I will write Smut, oneshots, small imagines, and multichapter stories. I'm a sucker for smut, so you're gonna get that out of me once I finally get the hang of it.

Important note: I only write XReaders for now. I know that might suck for a lot of people, but it is something I heavily enjoy. The readers I write for will mostly, if not entirely, be gender neutral or feminine. I'm sorry if this is a major letdown, but I do not trust my abilities to delve into a male reader just yet. I most write for male characters in general, and as love interests, but I can write for women when it comes to romance. I am both for ladies and gents.

Another very important note: I have a major history regarding mental health. Stress comes to me easy, and with stress comes heavy burnout. My brain gets fried, and my creativity goes down 6 feet under. All I ask is that you be very patient with me until I recover. This might mean small breaks or long breaks. Requests may be hard to handle, but if I'm ready, I'll think about doing them. You are able to send in asks! I may not be able to do full requests, but maybe some thoughts for a writing I could possibly start off with.

Sub-zero/kuai liang:

It was something kuai hadn't thought of until now. It was during his visit to the shirai ryu fire gardens where a young trainee approached you, you were enamored by this little one's charisma and hospitality. Although they asked you a question you and kuai were caught off guard.

"What is it like being married to the grandmaster of the lin kuei?"

You laughed gently and tried to explain that you two weren't married, although in a relationship of sorts. That night however, kuai brought it up to you. Kuai wanted to know if you wanted to be married, it was so straight forward a proposal you froze in place. Thinking about what it means to be the spouse of the lin kuei. Kuai takes your hand and reassures you without words that regardless of your choice, he will be by your side.

Scorpion/hanzo hasashi:

Hanzo would be a massive liar if he said he hadn't thought about the idea once. But he was still trying to wait for the right moment, to be sure. But one visit to the lin kuei for tea and conversation led to push hanzo. Kuai liang had asked you if you were married to the shirai ryu grandmaster, you felt flustered and quickly explained yourself that you were just in a relationship and that you didn't want to pressure hanzo.

That night however, hanzo confessed he overheard the conversation. And said that his heart was ready to take your love higher, he would marry again and this time mistakes would not repeat. He had stability, he had love and friendship and strength. Hanzo teared up when you accepted his marriage proposal and that night your love could melt the frozen snow on the roof of the lin kuei palace.

Raiden:

Raiden cared not much for ceremony, he had been in a relationship with you already for a while. Although it was not so open, less so of keeping up appearances or it being 'forbidden' but rather it was no one's business.

So when Johnny cage insisted that you two were "married" regardless of if it was true or not, raiden was frustrated with the warriors lack of tact. And you had to clear up and talk with Johnny that you weren't actually married, but didn't deny you occasionally had arguments that seemed to confirm you were an "old married couple"

Regardless, raiden later asked if you ever did wanted to be married. As he personally knew your union of love didn't need anything more spectacular than a personal exchange of vows. You joked that a wedding with a god must have one hell of a reception party. Raiden laughed and held you close asking if you wanted that. You nodded your head and regardless if you were "already practically married" as the Hollywood star stated, you just knew that your love was true and needed no fan fair at all.

Fujin:

Unlike his brother, fujin wanted a celebration to Express his love and devotion to you. But felt he needed to hold back and make sure you were comfortable with it. When Johnny cage's daughter cassie had teased you if you and fujin were married, it made fujin's heart flip in so many directions he had a hard time figuring out what emotion he was feeling.

You admitted that it wasn't true but you wished it did. You were uncertain how marriage works with gods, much less how gods and mortals unite. So you said that regardless, you loved fujin anyways that it didn't matter.

Fujin immediately stated to raiden he was having a wedding with you regardless of what the elder gods might think. Raiden shook his head at him and was more irritated with fujin's haste than the fact he wanted to marry a mortal. As Gods they had a duty to protect the realm, but as long as nothing interfered with that it wasn't forbidden. Raiden worries about fujin going too fast with the relationship even for mortal standards, and is concerned he might set himself up for heartbreak if he isn't careful. But raiden knows fujin, he knows once his brother is in motion it is impossible to stop him.

Liu kang:

Liu kang has tried to keep your relationship with him as secret as he could for your sake. Not just from many dangers of trying to use you to hurt him, but of others idolizing you two as some sort of celebrities. Liu kang wishes that kind of lifestyle would stay on others "built" for that, like Johnny cage.

It was inevitable someone would ask when you would marry, once they found out you were in a relationship. You always told many others that you weren't, and that it was quite frankly none of their business. But the more it was asked the more liu kang thought about it. If you two were married. Being the chosen one ment that it wouldn't be without great difficulty, it was already pushing it being in a relationship with you. But liu kang loved you so much, elder gods be damned if he wouldn't find a way to have both. Or the very least pray the gods choose another to replace him. But it surprised him when you asked the question if he wanted to get married, which he responded with "more than anything, more than dragon's fire burns hotter than the sun, i want to spend my eternity with you in life and death."

Kung lao:

This monk already made plans in his head, but the only problem was timing. He was as devoted to the white lotus and protecting earthrealm as to your relationship. Often pushing himself too far to do so, but any stress and struggle was worth it. You swear this man is going to kill himself one day from exertion. But you can't deny how passionate and loyal he is.

His family when you first made your relationship known, was bombarding you with a million questions an hour, but kung lao warned you that his family might do that. You often only talked to kung Lao's sister and her son, kung jin, or his grandparents on his father's side. They were the more relaxed ones, kung lao's other family members were nice but they were too "traditional" for your tastes and often you felt like you were judged. Kung lao knew this and often argued a lot with his family, especially his father.

Kung lao apologizes constantly to you, to which you always have to reassure him it's fine. Kung lao swears to you that you will get married, but only a few of his family he'll invite. Which sounds serious as there are some family tensions not even you know about. That night you spend until the crack of dawn listening to kung lao talk about his idea for your future wedding, and his gushing of how much he loves you

So...

I’m trying to get back into writing. What I’m working on right now is Mortal Kombat based. It’s how the kombat guys react to you wanting to do this cosmo challenge that involves doing 77 positions from the Kama sutra in 77 days.

Yep. I’m a third of the way through and it’s getting steamy. I should hopefully be done with it this week. If I don’t set a goal for myself it’ll never be done.

However, if anybody has any requests that’s Mortal Kombat related, go ahead and drop an ask/request. I’m still new to tumblr and learning how to work it. (I know I sound like I’m old but I’m really not. I just feel like it.) I’m willing to try to write as much as I can.

Mortal kombat villains in marriage

Kano:

Kano never thought himself the "marrying type" but when he met you? He swears he heard wedding bells.

Despite his dignity and manners being "dubious" to say the least, he is a man who knows how to separate business and pleasure. He wouldn't get far in the black dragon if he didn't.

So he keeps the ceremonies small and simple, who he invites is who he personally trusts to behave which is only a few. The rest would probably be on your side, whether they know what you really do or not is how things play out.

Kano makes sure to present himself in a less shady manner to your friends and family if you kept being a member of the black dragon secret. Surprisingly the man cleans up nicely.

Regardless, kano can't wait to get to the "honeymoon" part.

Shang tsung:

Despite being arrogant he's extremely cautious, so if he decides to marry it means it's truly for love. And he trusts to be with someone for all eternity (even if it means if his beloved wont accept immortality he can always attach their soul to his wedding ring to keep them forever)

As prideful a man shang tsung is, he wants the ceremony small and private. Maybe a little traditional but he's willing to compromise for your traditions as well if you have any.

The reception however. Is going to be big, so extravagant that he's waving a big sign to the elder gods that says "haha you may have cursed me but im still a happy bastard!" And of course shang tsung has beefed security on his island so he can show off everyone what a precious jewel his spouse is.

And after all that shang tsung gives you a very rare gift for the honeymoon, his submission in bed. Savor it but don't take it for granted.

Shao kahn:

Makes sure this wedding is the envy of all realms, like shang tsung the reception is going to be bigger than the actual ceremony. However unlike shang tsung, shao kahn is more lax.

All the attention is directed at you and shao, so even if that makes you a bit uncomfortable, he holds you close to him or gets the attention off of you (its very easy because this man thrives off of the attention.) Also expect tons of gifts from "the peasants".

And of course the reception would be a mortal kombat tournament. It's not shao kahn without some kind of brutal kombat time. He wants to show off as much as possible, his display of love is violently tearing opponents apart.

Of course all that battle is really just him "warming up" for the honeymoon. You will be sore for days.

Mileena:

Mileena will not feel comfortable marrying you until after she is kahn. Once that is all settled, you two will marry promptly.

The ceremony is a bizzare mixture of edenian and tarkatan cultures. Shockingly the combination inspires others to view the tarkatan in a different light. Thusly, your marriage is also a boost in political influence.

But that was never mileena's intentions, she loves you too much to use you like that. For the first time her whole being is bared to someone, who wants to stay forever.

Mileena cries at her own wedding, she didn't think about such things before. But when experiencing the ceremony, being in a beautiful dress, exchanging vows, partaking in a shared carcass of meat, her heart is filled with joy.

Your honeymoon will be filled with the most sentimental and wildest of "activities" including new things that either one of you may or may not enjoy in the future

Liu kang

A relationship with liu kang is a sweet one, he's the type who would never be afraid to hold your hand in public. Although before an established relationship, would get annoyed with "ooo you like them" comments from others, which yeah he likes you but also "shut up they're not my bf/gf" until he gets over himself and just goes "yeah and?"

Liu kang would give meaningful gifts, something he knows you would like but also use. But obsesses a little bit over it being your "favorite color"

If you're not "kombat ready" liu kang would at least want you to know how to defend yourself bc he knows he can't always be there to protect you (but by the elder gods he will always try anyways)

Johnny cage

Mr Hollywood himself takes absolute pride and joy in your relationship, Johnny may be a funny cocky man but he is 100% loyal to a fault and will go above and beyond for you. No price is too high for his sweetheart, the financial kind or the life risking kind. And contrary to what some might think, Johnny prefers more privacy between you two bc paparazzi is a bitch and a half, but also his love is something thats for you and nothing to prove to anyone else.

Johnny gives all the "klassic" romantic gifts, flowers, chocolates, teddy bears dressed up as scorpion. The amount of cheese this man gives off when it comes to love is astounding, but Johnny is just too charming to completely say "no" to when he's trying to woo you.

Despite the glamour and dramatic cinematic esque romance, Johnny would literally die for you no questions asked "Kombat ready" or not. But if you can kick some ass he wouldn't mind being "damsel in distress" for a moment even if it might hurt his pride a little (who knows, Johnny might find it kinda hot)

Raiden

Raiden's affection for you in private vs public is like night and day, but one thing no one can deny, you make him so much happier. He's more reserved in public but he's not going to deny you a kiss to the hand or a flirty, playful wink that's so quick you might miss it. But in private he's so much more relaxed around you, expect like, a lot of kisses and cuddling. Raiden might be a little touch starved, but even then he always asks for consent even if you already agreed to it before. He's also sassy as hell (raiden absolutely has personality and a sense of humor and just bc nrs forgot doesn't mean I did too)

Raiden is more of an "acts of service" type than a gift giver. But if he does give a gift it's either practical like clothing or maybe a little treat, or something very sentimental like a protective charm, something to give you peace of mind and to remind you he's always there for you even if not physically.

Raiden is definitely making sure you can handle yourself to some degree however capable you can be. If you are very willing to be "kombat ready" be prepared for some pretty intense training, but raiden is fair and won't push you unnecessarily anymore than you can handle

Scorpion/hanzo hasashi

Baby is so fucking protective of you its no joke, has the energy of a big looming dog if someone so much as look at you the wrong way. Very circumstantial with showing affection publicly, only comfortable when it's around people he knows wouldn't lay a finger on you. In private he is the biggest sweetheart, very very touchy and cuddly, and not afraid to show just how much he loves you and how much you mean everything to him.

Hanzo isn't much for gift giving, rather doing things for you more than anything. However he gives small but very thoughtful gifts, be it your favorite treat or a beautiful piece of jewelry that you once eyed like a week ago. He sees the little things that you like and takes note to give it to you, especially if it makes you smile, your smile gives him life.

Do i even need to tell you how devoted this man is? The man literally went through all manners of literal hell for his family before, the same applies to you. Only this time he will be better to not let rage blind him, should the worst happen. But by the elder gods whoever hurt you will pay dearly

Sub-zero/Bi-han

Like hanzo, very devoted and passionate but less intense about it. It's cheesy as hell but you warm his heart, he might not like being overly affectionate with you on the account someone might "attack his soft spot" but regardless he still loves you no matter what, his actions will always say otherwise even if he's being "cold"

He's traditional with the gifts, flowers, hand written notes, and on rarer occasions he might give you a frozen treat. His letters however is where he can pour his heart out comfortably, where verbal words fail him, written poetry tells you just how soft you make him

Bi-han might be distant with you, at least to outsiders. But you know better, you know he'd do anything for you when it comes down to it. Perhaps even challenge his other loyalties if it comes to it

Sonya blade

Sonya is a bit awkward with affection, she's not the touchy feely type but she does love to sneak kisses when no one is looking or paying attention. She does love and care for you but she shows it a bit differently

Acts of service all the way, sonya would rather do something for you or with you. Not really the material type at all, but not to say she wouldn't give practical gifts like clothes or an item you would use often. However sonya would give you flowers on a very special occasion, sunflowers. Roses are usually the "klassic" but she thinks sunflowers are prettier anyways

Sonya cares so much she absolutely would die and kill for you. She'd probably also make sure you're "kombat ready" too, as much as you can as she knows she won't always be there to protect you, but by fuckin elder gods she'll try anyways

Kano

Kano is a stinky bastard, the obvious being said, it's no secret you're his soft spot. And kano makes sure to dial up the "big macho man tough guy" to 11, just to make sure no one even thinks about using you against him. Which may include kano being mean to you in public on purpose to keep up certain reputations. But in private? Like a whole new man, he's rough around the edges but he genuinely tries to be considerate. Super touchy and handsy, there's no inch of you he hasn't laid his hands on and thats not even in a raunchy way, he just likes holding you.

Kano is definitely the type to get you anything you want, but mostly gives you some nice (totally stolen black market) jewelry. You can have literally anything as long as you don't ask where kano got it (bc the answer is always something illegal probably)

Kano will never give you up without a fight and by elder gods he's gonna put up a fight because no one is gonna touch you except him. And perhaps fighting because of you he has some shred of honor. Although he wouldn't mind you defending yourself at all, hell that makes his life a lot easier

Shang tsung

Shang tsung isn't afraid to show affection, however in public it feels more like a display of "look at my pretty little toy" than something closer to a legit relationship, but that's only because shang knows better than to ever let anyone know the truth that you have his heart and soul. In private he is sensual, he's intense, passionate and all consuming. Shang is very vocal about showing his love to you in private and he will always remind you that not only your soul belongs to him, but his belongs to you. A rare gift you shouldn't take lightly.

Speaking of gifts, they are the most extravagant and expensive things. But shang pays attention, he knows exactly what you want when you want before you even know what it is that you want. Basically shang tsung's gifts are flawless and he will settle for nothing less.

Shang tsung may not seem like it to others (for obvious reasons) but he would quite literally raise hell if anything bad were to happen to you to a point he'd put his own ambitions on hold if it ment you'd be safe. Which is very significant for a man like him, consider yourself the most lucky (or unlucky depending on who you ask) person in the whole universe to ever had won his heart

Reptile/syzoth

Everyone is shocked to see syzoth take a lover, but for syzoth this is very much a big deal. Therefore he protects you fiercely, the one person to show him not only the respect he deserves, but also kindness. His race never truly had this sort of show of affection, they were lizard folk so they're detached from those sorts of bonds. However this doesn't mean syzoth can't feel love, he actually loves how warm you are. And as such will cuddle you to a point you might get annoyed bc good luck trying to get this big lizard off of you.

Food is a big gift you're gonna get, it's going to be a lot of raw meat so definitely tell him what you actually can and like to eat. Syzoth tries his best to give you things he thinks you'll like, so if you don't actually tell him what you like he'll give you shiny things and flowers (that are mostly weeds)

Syzoth absolutely defends you to the death and no one is gonna keep a limb if they dare hurt you. Although you might have to watch out bc syzoth might attack anyone else around even if they weren't involved in hurting you. You'll have to calm him down

Goro

Goro is the type to pick you up and go "look at my lover they are amazing" if the shokan prince takes a lover he's gonna show them off like a prize. But make no mistake he loves you and someone's gonna have to have some balls to disrespect you in front of goro.

Goro will make sure you have everything you ever need or want, although he's not much of the spoiling type, he might just make an exception if you bat your eyes at him and "put on your charm" so to speak. Depending on his mood goro might give you something no problem, but he might be either cheeky or moody and you'll probably have to literally fight him for that so, don't even try if you know you can't beat him in a fight.

It's a bad idea to hurt goro's beloved so rest assured that goro is gonna tear the limbs clean off whoever so much as dare threatens your life. And then proceed to beat them to death with their own limbs with one pair of arms, while holding you close with the other
