Witchcraft and poetry are inseparable for me. What is a poem but a spell, every word woven with care and intention? A poem has the potential to craft new worlds, to open a portal into unseen realities, to rewild our hearts and souls. Poetry is spellcraft.

I've been reading similar things and it's been bothering me. I get everyone is entitled of their own opinion/feelings and I respect that, but seems pretty extreme and detrimental for the future of Yuri!!! on Ice and for the fandom. So, I'm going to get it off my chest: - Victor Nikiforov is not dead. - Katsuki Yuuri is not dead. - They are not divorced. In fact, most probably are now married and with 10 poodles happily far away from Russia. Probably living in Japan based on Fukuoka or Hasetsu. So yeah, still together. - Victor probably skated one or two more seasons. Give it 3 seasons, because it was fun experiencing it with Yuuri. Mostly won silver but maybe his last season he did scored all Gold. Then retired and has been his husbands full-time coach. Probably even Yurio's choreographer. - Yuuri may be in his last competitive season or next one would be the last one given his stamina and how late he started competitive skating. He's won gold almost every year, perhaps even 2 Gold Olympic Medals. - At the moment maybe they're planning some off-season vacations. - ''See You Next Level'' is an open ending, so the story is ever growing and evolving. They're living. - Victor's past is that: The past, and it's gone. He learned from that, maybe Ice:Ado is him reminiscing about it before deciding letting it go in that frozen lake before Yuuri and Makkachin joined him there. He would rather live in the present with his two L's. - For really frustrating reasons, the movie is not seeing the light of day. But the anime exists, the fandom still exists and 14.5 million views on the announcement prove that. Also there is still content being created by fans, honoring the ''See You Next Level'' phrase. There, now here is a really concerned faced Victor after reading such funeral like good-byes and all the 'he's dead and his husband's dead' and everything in the world imploded.

I miss the narrator
Tumblr media
This may be an unpopular opinion, but I miss the narrator from Good Omens season 1.
I will admit, when I first watched the show it threw me a bit. Sure, the narrator's jokes were funny, but I thought that as a story-telling device it was distracting. There was just so much of it all the time, and it often felt out of place. And when I went to look up reviews online, it seemed a lot of people agreed: if there ever was a season 2, the narrator had to go.
But THEN.
THEN.
Then I read the book.
And I realized: the narrator is the footnotes. It's the little jokes in between the plot. In descriptions, in metaphors, in transitions. The narrator is what makes the magic of the novel.
The narrator is the authors.
More specifically, the narrator is Terry.
Terry's influence on the novel, on the story; Terry's influence in the way he and Neil wrote the book. Neil has said before somewhere (I will find the source eventually and add it) that he was writing in Terry's style when he co-wrote the novel. And it shows; to me, when I read Good Omens, I was reading a Terry Pratchett novel. At the time, I had no previous experience with reading Terry's work, and the only novel I'd read of Neil's was American Gods. And in my opinion, Good Omens reads nothing like American Gods.
In subsequently reading more of Terry's work, it became even clearer to me that the narrator in the show was Neil's way of keeping Terry in the story. And maybe it WAS clunky in a visual medium, maybe it WAS distracting, jarring. But it was also hilarious, and whimsical, and playful, and fun. And I don't see how Neil could have done without it and still stayed so true to the novel. The jokes, the metaphors, the descriptions, the footnotes; this is what makes Good Omens what it is.
There was no narrator in season 2.
I will say up front that, overall, I enjoyed season 2. It had so many funny moments, and so many thought-provoking, poignant moments too. It used some dialog from the first book (looking at you Resurrectionists minisode) to remind us why Good Omens is not just a romp between an angel and demon, but also a philosophical, thought-provoking piece of media. It had a lot of Pratchett-esque moments; the Job minisode stood out to me here. The end was, of course, emotional and gutting, but I like emotional and gutting (anyone who has read my fics knows this). But... I found myself missing the narrator.
I missed Terry.
And maybe that was a good thing. Maybe it was even on purpose. Maybe the lack of narrator really is illustrating the fact that, when Terry died, he left a hole in the world that can never be filled. You can't make the same show you would have made had Terry been alive. You can't even try. You can make your own thing, you can make it amazing in its own right, but you can't make it the same. And, all said and done, I think that's a very important commentary on grief. When you lose something, or someone, you're not the same as you were before; and it hurts, but you change, you adapt, you grow. Eventually, you make something new.
So... do I want there to be a narrator in season 3?
That's a good question. I think I would accept both outcomes. However, knowing that season 3 is supposed to be the sequel Neil and Terry plotted, I think it would be appropriate to have a narrator this time around. True, we have no novel to base it off of; we don't have any of Terry's footnotes, his metaphors, his jokes. But we have Neil, whom Terry influenced while writing the original novel; we have Neil writing in Terry's style, putting himself in Terry's shoes for a moment (his hat, his scarf). We have Neil, who loved Terry, who has in part made this show as a labor of love, because he promised Terry he would, and he's going to keep that promise. We have Neil to remind us why we love Good Omens in the first place.
And I think having a narrator in season 3 would be a wonderful way to illustrate that.

I've been into scene and emo music and fashion since I was very young and I'm currently 22 years old and let me just say that me and my friend who was scene growing up would have been listening to 6arelyhuman's music.
(While scene music is made up of crunkcore, electronicore, metalcore and pop punk specifically neon pop punk lots of people just call it scene music to keep things short and simple so thats what I'm doing :3)
People have considered s3rl's music has been popular in the scene while being considered to be scene music and Nevershoutnever's music is also popular in the scene and considered scene music and Brokencyde's music is scene yet all of those artists are so different from each other so why isn't 6arelyhuman's music scene music? Because it definitely is. Scene music isn't just made up of one genre.
(Even Kesha's music was super popular in the scene community! :3)
Its okay to say you don't like 6arelyhuman's music but it definitely is scene and I feel like one of the issues we have is how we really like to box things in nowadays and we just end up gatekeeping more than we really should and in the end things become more complicated and lots of fighting and we see people arguing over stuff that is very silly.
I am personally tired of constantly putting things and creativity in restraining boxes when it doesn't make any sense or i know that it feels wrong. That's not because I'm trying to be better than anyone but because I have lots of experience because this has been something I have been into for a long time and experienced growing up.
I also feel that we don't talk enough about how the scene intersects a lot. Pop punk bands have made emo songs, pop punk bands have been considered scene, both scene and emo kids listen to post hardcore and metalcore etc. Like it intersects A LOT and a lot of these bands in the scene have also toured together and have been in festivals together like Warped Tour.
(6arelyhuman definitely would have been playing on Warped Tour if they made music back when Warped Tour was alive and active :3)
I'm just tired of seeing the gatekeeping and the arguing, I've seen this so many times in the past especially in the emo community and I'm tired of seeing it everywhere and it's sad seeing it still happen. It reminds me of when I see metalheads gatekeep on Facebook lolz! I want to add that I'm not trying to shame those who say these types of things because I know that they are most likely minors who are still new to the scene and are just trying to find their way around and are still learning and looking for advice, I used to be exactly like that but as someone who has been into this stuff for a long time I just felt like I needed to speak up. This has been a huge part of my life and has been my special interest for so long and the urge to want to say something has been craaaaazzzzyyyy lolz!
Another thing I want to add is that there is nothing bad about growth and change either even if it can be scary at times, sometimes it's not always a bad thing and is needed for a community to continue to thrive. Artists like 6arelyhuman help people get into the scene and get into other scene and emo artists.
And that's a good thing :3
Tumblr media
So let's encourage growth, change and inclusion. That's what the scene should be about <3

✨️Welcome to my Grian HeadCannon rant✨️
Hi, so I'm writing this on my phone while watching Hermitcraft. Lol. These are thoughts that have been bouncing around my head for a while.
-Grian's wings-
I think they shapshift. Think about it. We, the audience and the artists, are constantly making different variations of Grian. Either through the art itself or through headcannons. "Cannon" wise, we are the Watchers, and We gave Grian his wings.
There's Parrot Grian, which is pretty much default Grian at this point. Then there's white winged Grian, which could either be a dove or a chicken. Theres the desert birb Grian because of Life series Desert-Duo. There's the recent King Fisher Grian because of his fishing addiction this season. Then there's his Watcher form, which usually ends up being biblical accurate angel. Which I think the multiple wings are the different kinds of bird avian hybrid We make Grian into. (This will probably be the only "original" thought that's been going through my head. The rest of this is me compiling HCs I've heard/seen/watched and have been brimming full to talk and analyze, tho the analyzing will probably be a different post lol)
-Grian's Family-
There's a lot of HCs when it comes to family connects to Grian. There's YHS background that left him as an abandoned kid in Japan. Nadia225 gave Grian adopted Mafia parents, which is really cool, and you should watch their videos because they're really talented. And they gave Grian Bio-parents where one is a Water and the other is a Listener. And they're royalty. There's HCs of him being adopted by Philza (which honestly makes no sense to me because I think Grian is older than Philza. Character wise too.) And then He gets adopted by Xisuma. So parental figure-wise, there are a few to choose from.
Sibling wise... that's even bigger. There's the classic Jimmy and Pearl. There was one of Scar and Pearl being sibs to Grian. (The sibling dance animation that I can't remember the youtubers name to credit) There's Etho, through choice, with Nadia225 (or that's how I've interpreted their interactions lol). And then there's Martyn who gets thrown in, too. (But this just might be me.) Back to parent Philza, Grian gains Wilbur, Techno, Tommy, and occasionally Tubbo as younger brothers. I guess We see Grian as a big Family dude. (^○^)
Extended family tho... I have yet to see anything about aunts and uncles, not even grandparents, and my brain isn't coming up with anything.
Parent Grian always ends up adopting Tommy, but I think I've seen at least 2 fanfics where it was Tubbo instead.
-Watcher Relationships-
It's so weird. Like. Do We have a Feral Sibling relationship with Grian. Or are We mortal enemies. Is he traumatized by Us, or has he fully accepted being a Watcher. Like, I love the angst fics as much as the next Watcher, BUT PLEASE, I NEED MORE POSITIVE INTERACTIONS BETWEEN US, would love any fic recs anyone has, lol.
-Martyns cannon-
I still need to actually research this one, but at the end of Evo (Grian pov) it is /heavily/ implied that Grian joins the Watchers, seemingly by choice. Then I moved on to hermitcraft 6-9 and binge watched that. So if there's any Martyn Cannon that can be added on plus his "headcannons" feel free to do so!
Other Hermit HCs on the way. :]

I’ve seen people asking/being confused about the VIP/meet and greet. I obviously don’t know how it’s been organized this time, but I thought I could share how previous VIPs went down during previous tours.
The organisation really relies heavily on the venue (and its staff) tbh. I went to meet & greet where it was really well organized, and others where it was an absolute shit show. Usually, you queue and take a picture and/or meet with the band in a different room. Then you can go directly take your place in front of the stage or you can go buy merch before.
If there’s no separate room, the band will be on one side of the stage to take a pic/meet. Then it’s up to the staff: either you go directly take your place, or they make you wait until everyone has taken their pictures (and make you wait until the band has left) to allow you to go take your place (or buy merch). And it’s usually the fucking hunger games 💀. But I’ll say this: the last European tour was really well organized. I think the guys really appreciate if you take the time to actually talk to them (you’d be surprised, the number of people who pay for VIPs and don’t even say hi to them), don’t be shy they’re super nice :)
Can’t go to this tour this time around, but I hope everyone has the best time 🖤
edit: also, idk if there will be pictures taken or not this time. But the way they proceed is always different: I’ve done VIPs where it’s just you (and your friends if you want to) taking the picture with the band, sometimes the staff will pair you with other fans (to speed up the process probably). I’ve also done VIPs where you have chairs in front of the band and you take the picture, and I’ve also done VIPs where you’re just standing up next to the members. It’s always a surprise 🙃

People who argue against the idea that “Beauty is skin deep”, aren’t actually thinking about beauty. Hear me out.
 There’s “Beautiful”, “Hot,” and “Sexy”
Hot is the main thing most folks aspire to be. You’re gorgeous , and absolute 10, everyone wants to be affiliated and is instantly attracted to you because your visuals hit them like a bullet. This is what makes people believe that they can live life on easy mode( i.e. “pretty privilege”, face card”, etc) because if all they are is a visual knockout & the rest more or less does itself.
Sexy is a skill, a combination of charisma and confidence. Visually, you could be a 3, but the right charisma & confidence can boost you up to a 7. People are so enamored with how good you make them feel and how well you flirt, they don’t even notice or care that you’re not as hot as your stunning counterparts.
You can be Hot and Sexy. Both are a potent combination and what many folks envision when they hear the word “beautiful”; someone who is not only a visual knockout with folks clamoring to be around them but, has the charisma and confidence to own every room & those within it just by being there. But that’s not what “Beautiful” actually is.
What happens when you age and all of your visual features start to fade? What about your personality? Are you a good person? Is your mental health in check? Do you manipulate others or are problematic? What about your daily habits? Do you take care of yourself?
BEAUTIFUL cares less if you’re three or a 10 visually. It’s the way you carry yourself, the way you treat others, the kindness you have, your goals and aspirations. It’s the work you put into how you take care of yourself mentally, physically, and emotionally. It’s the wisdom & humility you’ve accumulated in your existence to shape who you are & the way you share your aura with others so they can see the beauty within themselves. Beauty stays with you long into your years, makes your partners, friends and loved ones see you with the same wonderful lens. When you come up in conversation, it makes someone describe all the positive internal parts they fell in love with first, while the physical attractiveness is given, but as an afterthought. “Hot” and “Sexy” to some extent avoids showing flaws whenever necessary to maintain an image. “Beautiful” embraces all of that & understands it’s an important part of you.
This is what folks don’t think about when they come to the argument that beauty is, in fact, skin deep. It involves the totality of a person, which most of them can’t conceptualize because they mostly allowed media to convince them that being hot/pretty/sexy is the equivalent of being “beautiful” as those people seem to get all the benefits for simply existing. And while, yes, a fatal flaw of our monkey-brain wiring is that we, as a society, tend to favor those who are visually appealing or can charm us, at the end of the day we most treasure those who have a wonderful soul, beautiful deep down. Our best friends, family members, mentors & partners can never hold a candle to those “hot” people.
Because Beauty is skin deep.

So I think Eric made a cameo and he said there will be a breakup and a makeup? It's not a guarantee that the breakup will be chenford, although I can definitely see them using the UC plot for breakup fuel. I don't know if I'd keep watching. I think there's a lot of plots and characters that I haven't been happy with how they're written so everything else would have to be much better. But a chenford breakup feels like drama for the sake of drama. Lazy writing. OOC for Lucy, Tim, and their relationship. Tim gave up his job for her. Lucy said it's the most important relationship in her life. They both said it's worth the risk. They talk about future children without flinching. A breakup makes no sense to me. Not if they care about consistency and quality of characters and writing. Just my thoughts. You don't have to agree.

What needs to happen is putting the entire roster in therapy... Not even joking..
The team's mental state is what needs to be worked on the most. Because we know the talent and potential is there. Many strength and many prospects, but they are a young team, an average of 24.4 yrs..
So... What should be done first and foremost is:
- group therapy
- team building exercices outside of the technical talk
- individual therapy
- intense media training especially the younger ones.
Then we can work on the technical and tactical aspects.
The team needs management, not just coaching...

I’m not trying to convince anyone but.. BUT…
Previously Kinn has made some questionable decisions that have unwillingly hurt Porsche.
He did that:
To protect Porsche
Tumblr media
2. To protect his image in front of the others
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Episode 9 belongs to the case 2.
Kinn has to keep up appearances. Or even better he wants to convince Tawan that he trusts him in order to fuck him over. Either way, he once again doesn’t want to hurt Porsche.
Tumblr media
If this wasn’t the case he wouldn’t say these words:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He wants Porsche to trust him and not the other way around.
What I believe will happen in episode 10 is that Porsche will run away with Vegas because he knows he can help Kinn better if he’s out of prison.
Then Kinn who, as I said, trusts Porsche, suddenly feels betrayed because he discovers from the cameras that Porsche ran off with Vegas.
And we are finally here:
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Episode 10 ends with them fucking in the pool.
Tumblr media
Amen.
