#my chem au

I’ve had an idea for an au floating around that I wanted to share

So we’re all familiar with Vampire!MCR content, but I’ve yet to see anything where one or the more of the guys are vampires and things stay, well, mostly the same, otherwise, so that’s where this idea came from.

In this AU, Gerard and Mikey have both been vampires since birth- their family lives somewhere with a higher concentration of supernatural creatures than usual, although there are still humans around. So while they’re mostly able to blend into regular human society, they still have some strange habits and mannerisms that cause some shenanigans early on.

Ray is a werewolf of sorts (more like a wolf shapeshifter), and he and Gerard become friends and start the band with Mikey after 9/11, like usual- and then there’s Frank.

Now, unlike the rest of the band, Frank's a human, with no idea that any of his bandmates' aren’t. There was quite a bit of debate as to whether or not they should let Frank join the band- sure, the three of them had kept their secrets from human classmates, and their parents had done the same with their co-workers- but recording and performing music requires spending a lot of time together. Eventually, though, Frank became a member, and My Chemical Romance was born.

MCR As Vampires- Headcanons

a/n: Hi!!! i know this isn’t a fic but i hope you still enjoy. I’m currently working on a vampire mikey fic so stay tuned for that <333

warnings: mentions of blood/ feeding on people + animals

Mikey

- the most vampire like of them all in my opinion!!

- him in the helena mv???? vamp!!

- definitely a very stereotypical vampire

- would live in a big gothic mansion covered in red purple and black decorations stinking of incense

- i love the idea of him as dracula, like in the more romanticised vampire vibe.

- would maybe keep a farm of animals on his mansion land, so he doesn’t have to go and hunt

- there would definitely be a local myth about him, he’d go into the local town like once a year and all the ladies would swoon over his sharp cheekbones and stern gaze.

Gerard

- the basement era was definitely his closest to being a vampire.

- he’d be more of a bat than a vampire, living in a small dark enclosed space such as a basement or an attic

- would emerge every so often to hunt- absolutely lives the thrill of the chase and the torture

- would probably purposefully confuse people- for example he would write books/comics for centuries under the same name and leave people questioning if it’s the same guy

- probably would be more solitary, less of a romantic vampire than mikey would be

Frank

- I think he’d make a sport out of biting people and turning them, trying to see how many he could get.

- he’d try to immerse himself into a community, then kill a lot of them (probably turning some) before moving on to the next one

- he’d also use the immortality to his advantage, using the time to perfect a hobby or skill

- i definitely think he’d like being a vampire the most

Ray

- i think he’d like being a vampire the least

- he just wants to live a normal life

- gives MAJOR carslile cullen vibes- tries to live a normal life in the community but has to leave when things get suspicious.

- wouldn’t enjoy hurting people, would probably only feed on animals that are already dying.

- would only turn someone if they were dying

- probably ends up trying to break the curse because he hates it so much

Danny phantom stood in an altar. Soon he will borrow bit of clocky's powers to look into the future.

Danny phantom saw universes ravaged by monsters beyond comprehension. Outer gods.

His family killed. Ghostly and Human. Both.

And him. Powerless to stop it.

So he took it on himself. But then realized what he would be giving up.

Humans were weak towards the madness that followed them. His human half was a problem. So he separated himself.

He ripped himself up. Took everything that was human. His empathy, humanity, love, emotions. Anything that made him the slightest likeness of a human. And all that was left was his obsession to protect.

And he put all of the good and bad parts of himself into a body. Black hair, blue eyes. He gave everything he truly loved to Danny, and also gave a small bit of his power. Just so a random car accident won't end him.

Phantom smiled. Soon they would be Danny phantom again.

it had been a millennia? Phantom doesn't know. Time was weird here. Time doesn't exist here. His lovely grandfather's presence was not here. Phantom cringed at the reminder of home. How he wished he had not run off. Told his goodbyes. And accepted the help

Through duplication, he managed to set up a frontier.

They were finally starting to win against these monsters. Not that anyone knew.

All they knew was Phantom ran off.

Most didn't even know about the existence of Outers.

Those that did were probably worrying about him.

It felt like he was forgetting something important. You have to get back phantom

And it has been pretty good.

Until.

Until eldritch abomination had showed up.

And another one. This one resembling auroras. Space. It felt familiar.

can’t deal with rpf but it kind of just sounds like one of those things where it’s a complete au, so it’s almost just like using the people as actors in a way?? is that the vibe?? because I might be convinced to fw that if the plot is good, because yeah the concept sounds really really interesting (and I’m in love with gerard obviously)

I don’t do smut tbh but like I’ll read it if again the plot and writing is good, might make me feel funky bc of the rpf aspect though. anyway people who’ve read it, what do you think?? it must be good to have developed a fandom of its own.
