with their leader being a terrible driver prone to speeding over bumps and potholes, it’s no wonder their instruments start to accumulate damage after a while. but as much as nari could yell at chrissy for being so reckless . . . she admittedly likes the moments when mari asks her for help fixing up her keys. while the others are relaxing before the gig ( or in chrissy’s case, hitting up that bartender again ), mari and nari sit backstage, tinkering with her keyboard. 

technically, it’s just a quick fix where they have to unscrew the back panel and tighten some loose cables that were knocked around. but so long as they already have keyboard opened up . . . .nari suggests they clean up the keys too. unheard of, for someone who shoots a dirty look any time a person asks them to do something outside her jurisdiction. but with mari, it’s different.

she's thorough as she runs a gentle cotton swab over the keys' sensors, removing any speck of dust that's piled up. there’s no cutting corners when it comes to mari’s keyboard. normally, nari’s completely comfortable sitting in the silence with her best friend, but she attempts to spark a conversation anyway.

mari’s the only person whose thoughts and opinions are better than quiet for nari.

Tsuna's foster family won't fit her little perfect world. Nana would simply want Tsuna to forget them and stay with the Sawada.

Having her son live with a loving family far away from her and Namimori would be bad for her for, sure Nana would be completely alone useless Tsuna wanted to visit. She would be more sad and depressed than canon.

But Tsuna suffered so much careless neglect thats its for the best. He shouldn't have to sacrifice to keep her delusions intact. I am tired of Tsuna sacrificing for everyone's feelings and wants.

After so much screaming and arguing, George and Mary finally left the house. You waved, wished them a good night, and locked the front door. What a mess. All that fuss because of a character from a bedtime story.

You went upstairs and opened the door to your sibilings' room, but the three of them were already asleep. You knew that Wendy didn't want to leave the children's room, you thought that if you talked to her that fear could be eased, but she was already sighing. Maybe tomorrow.

You entered your room and changed into your pearly nightgown. You saw your parents entering a cabriole from the wide window. When they disappeared, you ran into the backyard and released Nana from the leash.

Tomorrow you'll sort it out with your dad. George can be furious, your mom word it as passionate, but deep down he's the most caring father you could wish for. George is always barking, never biting.

And your night would have ended there if you hadn't looked up. You should have seen a starry night. A full moon. But you saw your brothers. Flying.

"Peter, wait!" Michael cry out. "You forgot one sister!"

"Michael?" You shuddered. Insane. Completely insane. "Michael, is that you?"

"Wait a second!" Michael waved the teddy bear at you and disappeared into the sky. After a infinite second, he appeared with something glowing in his hand and flew towards you. "Think happy thoughts," he instructed you.

Then a glittering dust fell on you. You coughed and tried to clear yourself. Crazy. Completely crazy. When you looked down, you saw the ground. Which would be normal. If it wasn't too far away.

Michael took your hand. "I told you Peter Pan existed!"

"Oh. My God." You shouted. "Oh. My God." You were flying! Flying. No. No, you weren't. You closed your eyes, took a deep breath, and emptied your mind. When you opened your eyes, you saw the Big Ben. From above. "Oh. My. God."

"Don't be scared." Michael gave you two pats on the back. The same you do when he wakes up from a nightmare. He gave you his teddy bear. You hold onto it like it would protect you from anything. "We are going to Neverland!"

Then Michael flew again. You got to see John and Wendy flying up ahead, along with who could only be Peter Pan. You tried to follow them, but flying was a lot harder than the three of them made it out to be.

It was just a really realistic dream. Just that. A good dream about flying with your siblings.

Hugging the teddy bear, you slowly followed them. You passed chimneys, climbed through clouds, stood over the hands of Big Ben: always a few minutes late in comparison to them. But in the end, even with a lot of fear, you did follow them towards the Second Star to the Right.

Seeing Neverland, you felt butterflies in your stomach. It wasn't madness, it wasn't a dream, it was true. When the four stopped on a cloud, you thought you finally caught up with them.

Then something hit you.

It got tangled up in your body, heavy enough to make you fall. A net pulling you into the sea. You tried to fly, you tried to let go, but the more you moved the more you got tangled up in it.

The net was heavy, pulling you down, but it wasn't a sudden fall. You just couldn't go up. Which didn't mean it was comfortable. Yards and yards of fabric tangled up on you, just weighing you down.

A whirlwind of voices showed you that people were approaching, but you couldn't see anything. You just felt the impact against what must have been the ground. It didn't hurt, but it felt weird to stop flying.

"Finally, Mr. Smee, I will take care of my worthy opponent." You heard a rough, deep voice. People laughed at what he said. "I've waited years for it."

"That's not countin' the holidays, either", Mr. Smee complete. "Aye, there is the knife, Captain."

You tried to let go but only heard a deep chuckle. "Don't be a coward, my old enemy, face your fate." You heard the ripping of ropes. The weight on you began to lift. "Hook defeated you."

The knot holding the hammock came undone, and only then did you realize how much you needed to breathe without pounds of rope over your face. You blinked, the sun blinded you, and the black silhouette in front of you took on color.

And he was beautiful. You've read stories about pirates. Beautiful and funny stories like the ones Wendy shares with her brothers. But also about strong men, who know their ships like the back of their hands, who survive the ravages of the sea and vanquish the mightiest heroes. And you've also read about pirates who knew how to please a woman, dishonest men who kneel in front of their beloved, experienced men doing things girls shouldn't even know exist.

Hook reminded you of the latter type. "Disappointed?", you whispered. After all, it was just a dream.

Hook was frozen in place. Ready to slit Peter's throat and deliver him an honorable death, what was caught in his net was something far different than his little imp.

His heart was pounding so loudly that he almost didn't hear the question asked by the lady in front of him. Disappointed? How could he? You were more beautiful than any mermaid, more graceful than any woman he had ever seen, more delicate than any pearl. Wars would be fought in your honor and that would be the least any man with sense could do.

But his sailors are not known for being sensible.

"Of course we are!" One of them thought he had the right to talk to you. As if it wasn't already a miracle that he could see someone like you. "Where's Peter?"

Then Hook moved. He took the revolver out of his jacket and, without even looking in the direction he was aiming, pulled the trigger. The sailor fell overboard.

"Forgive me", Hook extends his hand to you. "My men don't know how to treat a lady."

You hesitated but accepted the touch. Hook set you on your feet again, more gently than you thought a pirate could display. "Apparently you kidnapped me."

"Aye, this is just a misunderstanding. See, I thought you were Peter Pan. It's not every day you see someone different flying over my ship."

"So... can I leave?" Your feet left the ground. Looks like you were already getting used to this flying thing. "And nothing will happen to me?"

Hook ran his fingers through his hat, a polite smile spreading across his face. "I would never dream of hurting you." Hook gestured toward his office. "May I apologize for the misunderstanding?"

"Apologize?"

"Drinks and conversation." Hook ran his fingers over his face. Good thing Mr. Smee shaved. It would be a horror if the love of his life met him in something other than his best version. "A proper apology."

You wouldn't normally accept such a request. To be alone with an unknown and dangerous man. Drinking with a man! But that was just a dream.

In his room, you floated around looking at the different shelves and finds. A pirate ship! It has so many treasures. "If you had captured Peter, would you have killed him?"

Your question took him by surprise. "That doesn't strike me as a conversation of lady interest."

As you turned, you saw Hook swapping the silver hook for a gold one. You smirked. "I showed interest, didn't I?"

Bossy. Ah, Hook knew you were his soulmate for sure. "I would have. Does that bother you?"

"No." You floated toward him, and sat down on the chair across from the table. Hook poured two glasses of some drink. You took the glass and thanked him, but didn't drink. "After all, this it's nothing but a dream."

"Dream?” Hook chuckled, downing his drink and sitting back in his armchair. “What convinces you of that?”

"I was at home, ready for bed, and suddenly I was flying to Neverland." You shrugged. "Clearly a dream."

Hook understood what was happening. Peter seems to have been confused. You are not a lost child. He never was careful. "I can prove this is not a dream."

"How?"

Hook rose, slowly circling the table. In front of her, he leaned on the wood. "Aren't you going to drink?"

Only then did you remember the glass in your hands. You took a sip, a grimace came over your face. "Strong", you coughed.

"Here's the proof." Hook touched your chin, making you lift your head and look. Only he did it with the golden hook. "Ever felt something like that in a dream?"

You swallowed hard. "No."

"So that means you're alone with the most dangerous pirate on the seven seas, the person who wouldn't have thought twice about slicing someone's throat out, completely helpless." Hook leaned in until he could feel your breath against his face. "Does that bother you?"

"You don't seem interested in ripping my throat out."

He gave you time to walk away. To fly in the direction you wanted. To leave him without saying a single word. Hook gave you time, but you let him kiss you.

He tasted like the rum you ignored. The hook left your chin and slid down to your waist, pulling you toward him. You leaned into his chest, kissing him back. It was so wrong, so unlike anything you would ever do, but it also felt so good.

You pulled away for air, and felt his fingers caressing your cheek. When you opened your eyes, you saw that Hook was smiling. "Do you know how to be silent?" You nodded in agreement. "Excellent."

He lifted you from the chair, and in one swift movement sat you down on the table. Hook was strong. Too strong. He pressed his thumb to your lip, watching you with lust. "You were made for me."

Before you could say anything, Hook knelt. You've read about it in books, but you could never imagine it would be such a satisfying sight. A man so strong, so dangerous, brought to his knees by you.

Hook didn't even bother to remove your nightgown. He just stuck his head between the fabric, desperate to satisfy you. To make you feel the same way he felt about you. To make you scream for him and make everyone understand that you belonged with him.

The depersonalisation/dehumanisation of mystreet Garroth. A character analysis.

I am not sure if that’s the right term, depersonalisation is about lack of own identity, dehumanisation is stripping someone away from their positive human traits. But I don’t mean either of that, I mean just treating someone as not human?  Garroth is often either extremely over idealised in pdh or seen as a moron in mystreet.

This is pretty long so I'm putting a read more here.

First off his father over glorified him, him being the golden child and all. Being the golden child actually sucks. You have all the pressures, and the feeling of being a fraud as he was praised for stuff he didn’t do. We see Garte canonically praising him for stuff he hasn’t done. And this causes feelings of being a fraud and a fear of being exposed.

Then we have all his fangirls in highschool, obsessing over him and over glorifying him yet again. He isn’t recognised for him as a whole with his flaws, he isn’t recognised as just a human.

I noticed a pattern; very often, it's as if the better people know Garroth, the less they like him. The more he is just an idiot. This probably increases the feelings of being a fraud. 

He is the comedic relief now, to the point some fans don’t recognise him of having any serious sad feelings at all because he is the comedic relief. Now everyone just sees Garroth as an idiot, too dumb to be seen as a person.

And you have the fact he was experimented on, a very dehumanising experience probably. They also refer to them in code names during it I think[A1, A3, A3, A4 and A5]  making it more dehumanising, in a scene in starlight you see a photo of Garroth as a toddler with A1 under it, katelyn being A2 and Travis A3. This hints he was the first to get a forever potion expiremented on him. This would also mirror season 4 and 6. As then the order would be Garroth, Katelyn, and Travis. Just how in season 4 the possession order is Zane, Lucinda, and Aphmau. Those people being the ones to set them free out of their possession in season 6 and that being the order in which they get depossessed in season 6. that's irrelevant really but I just wanted to mention it because it makes Garte look even worse.

Not to mention his possession being one of the most depersonalising and dehumanising ones of all. As unlike all the others, he doesn’t say anything except a few words during it and doesn’t show off much if any emotion at all. The screen also goes over to Garroth when Michael says “And your little toys are mine” basically referring to Garroth as a toy. Garroth during the possession is also almost like a robot, or a puppet, he attacks Nana being in the way but doesn’t continue because he directly switches targets when ordered to. Seeing yourself act like that and someone in your friend’s body boss you around like that is sure to mess you up you know. And then you have him becoming a werewolf, making him “less human” too.

Despite being basic he isn't really like his peers in a way. Oh also his basicness in itself is also kinda depersonalising, ‘Golden children’ often end up having to perform to please their parent. Due to this act to keep their status they often lack individuality and creativity. Perfectly in line with Garroth’s basicness and lack of an interesting taste and so forth. A lack of an personal identity. this is soo interesting with it being implied Elizabeth made the Ro'meave's forget about Garte in the mystreet season 6 finale. That's an identity crisis waiting to happened.

He also turns his own feelings into jokes in a way.

Like his fear of Ivy. She blackmails him to be with her in pdh season 2 aswell as constantly making him uncomfortable and just making it all about her getting his name wrong. As if he doesn't recognise his own feelings so he searches for a superficial reason to explain the feelings he is feeling. And how he after that he kinda forces himself to get over it without a real apology for it from Ivy. I only remember her apologising to Aphmau and explaining her lisp to Garroth. So since everyone is okay with Ivy and it's all about the lisp it's good now. But during their relationship Ivy consistently crossed boundaries and she blackmailed him. He was visually afraid of her in pdh for reasons outside of the lisp.

And we have in the good cop bad cop sidestory thing where in a conversation it was revealed his bad cop joke was actually backed up by him actually distrusting Gene. But after a conversation with Laurance he gets Gene a house a few episodes later.

He doesn't care about his own feelings,in a way. Like how Garte doesn’t care about Garroth's reluctance to inheret the company and still makes him do so.

Okay so my 2 cents in the whole shipping debacle within the Aphverse is that… I genuinely like nearly every ship. I ALWAYS HAVE!!!!!!!

I am a very easy person to entertain, I always have been, so when watching MCD growing up YES I loved Garmau so much but I also fangirled like crazy when we got Laurmau moments. And at the same time I LOVED Garrance!! I loved and STILL love almost every ship, canon or not. I lost my MARBLES when Aarmau became hinted at in MCD and MYS then became canon (and while I do definitely see and understand the problematic aspects, and am equally as upset that they ruined other characters so Aaron looked better, I STILL LOVED SEEING SOME ROMANCE ACTION IN THE MOMENT!! Tbh it was just nice that Aph OFFICIALLY HAD A PERSON YK??? Cuz girl I was tired of the pining and false hope LMFAO)

and it was even with non Aphmau centric ships like Zana and stuff. Like I wanted Zanvis and Dana (is that the Dante x Nana ship name??) at first but when I got Zana I was like OKAY THIS HITS!!!!!

SotWK tells the story of Thranduil, all the way back from his childhood in Doriath to the final years of his rule over Eryn Lasgalen. There is a TON of history to cover in almost 7,000 years of the Elvenking’s life!

In this version of Thranduil’s story, he falls in love and marries a Noldorin elleth, Maereth, before he eventually inherits the throne of Greenwood the Great. Together they bear and raise five strong sons: Crown Prince Mirion, Prince Turhir, Prince Arvellas, Prince Gelir, and Prince Legolas.

SotWK chronicles their lives together, centuries filled with triumph and tragedy interwoven with the fates of many other famous figures in Middle-earth history.

I'm a fangirl in my late 30s, dividing my energy and hours among my husband, our two boys, a full-time job, and my fandom hobbies. I reside in the US (PST).

I have been an on-and-off LOTR fanfic writer since 2003. I started this blog in October 2022 after deciding to dust off and resume my writing project, "Sons of the Woodland King", a fanfiction series focusing on Thranduil Oropherion, Elvenking of the Woodland Realm.

I also write for various Tolkien canon characters alongside my own OCs and take requests for Reader Insert fics.

I reblog media from some other fandoms as well, mostly in the fantasy, period/medieval, superhero, and sci-fi genres. I use meme gifs from my favorite sitcoms a LOT.

This is a PG-13 blog (I do not post or reblog adult/explicit content), so minors are welcome. This blog is meant to be a safe space for everyone regardless of background or belief, and should be conflict and drama-free at all times.

If you don't mind me asking, can I ask your top favorite fics that you've written (feel free how much that you want to list)? Why they're special to you? Is there a specific inspiration when you wrote them?

Oh this is such a fun question, no one's ever asked me this before! Okay ummm... in no particular order because these are special to me in different ways ー

A Fangirl's Dream (still in-progress, I'm just slow TAT)

Ivy has it rough. She's no anime fan or FMA fan. But when she somehow crosses the gate, she finds herself in the worst possible position: a protagonist of an Another World fic trope. And between the alchemy, automail, lack of plot knowledge, and struggling with her attraction to a pretty blonde mechanic, Ivy reluctantly teams up with the main characters in her journey to get home.

This is a fic years in the making and I'm not talking about how the little hiatus it is in. This was a fic I started working on in about middle school as a pair of sister stories that I deleted on an old FFN account. It was going to be some sister stories about two friends that end up in FMA at different times before their stories coincided with one another and they crossed paths in their separate adventures in Amestris.

One friend was an established fan of FMA and the other wasn't an anime fan at all. AFD covers the journey of the friend who isn't a fan of anime in general, having only watched a handful (NANA, Naruto, DBZ). FMA, is not one of them.

In middle school these fics were going to be EdOC for AFD and for Swept Away (SwAy) it was going to be LingOC because at the time, those were the characters I was most obsessed with.

A handful of years back I decided 'you know what, I'm going to rewrite AFD and SwAy and finish them no matter how long it freaking takes!!!!' And in the process, new ships evolved and different journeys for the OCs, Ivy (AFD) and Akasha (SwAy) were developed. Ivy and Winry had such good chemistry, imo, that I decided to shift the story to be about them whereas I had more of a darker descent planned for Akasha who couldn't distinguish that while these were characters she knew and loved, they are real living people in front of that won't act according to the scripts she's crafted in fanfiction's passed.

I'm hoping to get back to writing some chapters for this soon so I can finish AFD and finally starting working on SwAy and make past me proud to have finished them.

The Different Rules of Summer

‘Okay so you think ghosts are fake but totally think that bigfoot and mothman are real?’ Lance scribbled furiously on the piece of paper in total disbelief. ‘Ghosts are total BS, man’ Keith look disinterested. ‘This is why you’re single' Lance didn’t expect that his summer vacation would be spent at a library arguing with his deaf co-worker about why cryptids totally aren’t real. Keith volunteers at a library to keep himself out of trouble while his brother works. The worst part of his day? Explaining to some moron why Mothman is definitely a real entity and why the first moon landing was fake. Funny enough, this is the highlight of both of their summers.

This was such a fever dream of a time to write but in the best way possible. VLD was still ongoing and thing going on in my mind was that I wanted to write a multi-chaptered fic and finish it. So I decided to make a personal challenge for myself that I was going to write a fic with 40 chapters for 40 days.

1 chapter everyday, it didn't matter how long each chapter was as long as I wrote one.

Beginning, middle, end. And I did it. Some days I was cutting it close and it felt like a chore to push the chapter out but I did it. I wrote 40 chapters in 40 days, 1 chapter a day and I'm really proud of myself for doing that. I honestly lwk recommend other people try out this sort of challenge themselves if they're ever up to it and have the time!

So I drafted up 40 chapters to write in the draft, some dumb but memorable titles for said chapters and got to writing and wow did this story unexpected blow up? I was not expecting this story to become as popular as it did but it was so fun to write and talk to the people reading it. Especially the Deafies who found the fic and thought I was accurately portraying Keith's experience as being Deaf.

It's not perfect, there's a lot of mistakes and clumsy writing but I fucking did that and no one can take this away from me.

You might be the only one in your division not utterly smitten with your partner, Makima. Call it disinterest, call it being observant that her smiles never reach her eyes. Either way, you have no interest in bridging the gap between you both. But one day, an attempt is made, and it isn’t by you. + Your contract was simpleー the Control Devil would not use her powers on you, you just needed to stay with her forever.

My beloved Makima duology that someone on twt deadass tried stealing and passing off as theirs. That shit aside though, wow did I love writing these.

At the time, I was really frustrated by the state of the Makima x Reader tag. Because it was usually just Dom Makima smut. Which, there's nothing wrong with that but because what I wanted to read was something that explored the depth of Makima's character, the goals that motivated her terrible actions in the manga and the loneliness that wracked her sense of self..... I decided that I wanted to read that story, I would have to write it myself.

So I did. And because people loved HBHP so much, I felt inspired to write a sequel that included Nayuta.

A lot of love and care when into writing these stories and it makes me happy when I still see people reading them if they find them in the tag. I didn't expect to like writing for Makima as much as I did, I honestly want to write more concerning her if I'm being honest. I do have a WIP on that right now, it's just taking forever to get my vision just right...

The Summer Moon Was Born to be Loved pt 1 + The Summer Moon Was Born to be Loved pt 2

You got pregnant and the ghost of university days past finds out five years later.

Months in the making as there was a lengthy hiatus between both chapters but this was something I had a lot of fun writing. I wanted to write my own spin on a trope I've seen established and simply wanted to write it well. I had been talking with a friend of mine about it and we discussed how we thought the events would go with different characters from Mitsuya and Hanma from TokRev to Nanami and Gojou from JJK. I thought as far JJK went, Gojou had the potential for most mess and decided to write a story involving him.

And in that, I ended up including a lot of one of my favorite things in the world: the ocean. Utilizing oceanography terminology to showcase the emotional states of the characters, the events happening between chapters, I had a lot of fun doing that.

And I think that I had a pretty clear and concise ending as well. So yes, another personal favorite for sure!

Lost Girl (in progress)

Believing your father’s concerns as the last black family living in the secluded mountains of Wall Maria to be simple paranoia, a you naively set out on YOUR own to discover the world and what it truly holds. Yet after encountering another family secluded in the mountains, the Ackermans, you realize that maybe his concerns weren’t so unfounded in the terrifying yet beautiful reality you live in. Befriending their daughter, a fellow survivor in what it means to be the last of their kind, you find your path leading to the horrors of the Fall of Maria and the 103rd Cadet Corps.

Not my most popular series but one I'm updating slowly nonetheless.

This story has had multiple incarnations. UtSD ver 1 was an OC fic before I turned it into a reader-insert. But version 3 came as LG, another reader-insert but one I think is more polished.

My inspiration for making this was simple. I wanted more Mikasa fic content out there and I wanted to read a fanfiction story where the OC/reader in question were black like me. It's something that's permeated through my brain since high school back when we knew little of where SNK was heading as a story.

What would it be like if you were living in the Walls and black? How would your treatment fair, the beliefs bloomed about you and your kind? Especially if you're decidedly the last of your kind within the Walls. And the comfort that may possibly come from having some sort of like you except not quite.

I don't care if people who aren't black also read this story and partake in the adventure. All I care about is writing something everyone can enjoy, especially if they're someone like me or if they want to read something different.

I hope to one day see more unapologetically POC OC and reader-inserts scattered about the tags alongside ethnically ambiguous ones. I personally usually write ethnically ambiguous characters so everyone can enjoy my fics by not specifying hair texture, saying that your cheeks warmed instead of blushing and things like that. But sometimes, I wanna write something that's really just for me.

Se réjouir, se réjouir

The sun; Neuvillette is the sun. And Furina? She’s not fit to even be the moon. There is a surprising loneliness to freedom.

Wrote this some days after after the 4.2 patch update and finishing the Fontaine AQ. This was a ship I fell quite head over heels with and I had a lot of thoughts in my head about them that I decided to get out of my head by writing something up for them.

I talked about the dynamics that I liked between Neuvillette and Furina already and all the coinciding NeuviFuri material Mihoyoverse was shilling out with their commissions wasn't helping my brainrot either.

For something I pretty much shot out not too long after the update when live, I think I did a pretty damn good job. I had fun with the dynamics and trying to dig into the brain of the characters.

A Little Pain (still in progress even more slowly than AFD)

At the age of 7, there were a few things Hinata Hyuga was sure of. One, her father, Hiashi Hyuga, was the strongest shinobi she knew. Second, just the thought of her having to one day make decisions for her entire clan terrified her beyond belief. Third, her younger sister Hanabi, at the age of 2, was very easy to impress. Hinata Hyuga never wanted to lead her Clan and when she is stripped of her title and essentially an outcast in her home, she finds solace in the brief comforts of a pink-haired girl named Sakura. Though little did Hinata know that losing her heiress title would send her life spiraling down a path of self discovery, bravery, and the realization that changing yourself is a possibility is the most powerful jutsu of all. But... perhaps stopping yourself from fainting whenever you happen to be around your crush is a start. And convincing the entirety of Konoha that it's first all-kunoichi team won't be a complete and total failure should be prioritized before any of that.

Another one of my 'I started this in high school' stories that has been through a rewrite and I'm trying to finish little by little. SakuHina is one of my favorite Naruto ships, has been for years and as someone who has been reading over a decade of Naruto fanfic tropes, I've seen my fair share of 'what if A was on Team 7' fics.

So I decided to write my own version of that but the new team in question is Konoha's very first all-kunoichi team. Also, Hinata has a crush on Sakura this time around instead of Naruto. And boy do I have a lot planned for this story, I'm excited every time I get back to my google docs and get to typing little by little.

his, as he dubbed them, “duck lips” and monolids are also “charm points” he is well known for, so watch out for them when looking for him!

jjunie is the only member who currently (0722) has instagram (@/yawnzzn)! he often does modeling for a variety of magazines and such, so you’ll probably become familiar with him sooner rather than later~

despite being the oldest, he’s known for his dual personality (aka, beating up beomgyu one minute and doing aegyo the nex, hence tom & jerry lol-). he’s also quite flirty, and is known to flirt with moawajjunie’s (his fandom name), via fan calls or fansigns frequently.

daniel (his english name lol) definitely deserves the title of “gen-4 it boy”; look out for his dance covers and tiktoks, as well as his raps if you wanna bias him;)

choi soobin (00)

next up we have the leader, soobin aka binnie!! as stated above, you’ll easily be able to find and recognize this cutie since he quite literally towers over the entire industry ^^ (i’m the same height as skz’s hyunjin, so i always thought ‘nah he ain’t that tall, y’all just short’, until i saw them standing next to each other rip o-o). his lips also has an interesting shape and add to his “bunny look”!

soobin is firm but also really soft; his soft but pretty deep voice also adds to this a bit!! he’s the leader, and incredibly well respected by his members, but he’s also a bit shy, so they don’t hesitate on teasing and joking around with him! he’s clearly a sucker for compliments, just look at the idol house episode featuring txt-. during the introduction game you can literally see his face light up after the members stop teasing him and give him actual compliments:(((

he is quite well known for his little obsession with huening kai (not him fangirling for us istg-)!! ever since their trainee days they’ve been close and often sleep next to each other/cuddle! they’re really clingy, and it’s so cute:(( i recommended checking out “weverse” if you wanna see the interactions first hand!

binnie was an mc for music bank with arin from oh my girl for a while, so you check out his interviews as well! soob’s fandom name is ‘soobders’, so remember it if you planning on biasing him!!

choi beomgyu (01)

defining features – pretty side profile, heart-shaped face, freeze haircut, narrow lips

lines – hyung/maknae line**, choi line, tom & jerry line

beomgyu is smack in the middle of txt, with the hyung’s being 99 and 00, and the maknae’s being 02z. he swears up and down that he’s a hyung, but soobin always tells him he’s a maknae, so incase you see him positioned differently at times, you know why:))**, (there’s an interview with him and bin arguing about this lol, he’s like “we’re only 3 months apart” and bin’s like “should've been born earlier, suckcs to suck ig”).

gyu carries hard when it comes to visuals (not that the other members don’t, but he def helps hehe), often getting compliments on his side profile and face shape. his freeze era haircut is also a fan favorite, so go check it out!

he is hands down the “mood maker” of the group, (well him and kai, but kai’s a bit on the “sweeter” side). he’s always joking around with yeonjun and pissing him off, (they call them the ‘tom & jerry’ duo lol), and he’s often thought of as the funniest member, (look up ‘beomgyu kite’ and watch the poor boy have an entire soap opera moment lol). despite this, he has a very pure side to him and you’ll often see him confused in the background; do watch out for him when games are being played, he’s known to be a little cheater.

gyu’s fandom name is “bamtori”, but he also often refers to himself as “tiger” (caue beom means tiger in korean), hence the emoji on twitter, etc. gyu has also talked about his other idol friends on live before! he referenced skz’s i.n., enha’s heesung, and justb’s lim jimin, the 01 liners!

and finally, gyu’s vocals are unmatched, go listen to any song, and bask in the presence of an angle~

kang taehyun (02)

defining features – big eyes n smile, super straight nose bridge (read that it was like 60º somewhere)

lines – maknae line

taehyun is like yeonjun, in the sense that his age throws everyone off lol; he’s the second youngest, and still acts like an old man lol (/hj). plus, being on the “shorter side” (cuz in txt “178cm” is considered short hA-), often gives him the “i’m not here, but i am watching” vibe.

gym rat 101 lmao. he loves to work out, and it shows-, so if muscles do it for you, welp, here you are~

his humor is a bit dry and sarcastic, but always funny, and though it may contrast his demeanor, his obvious care towards the other members makes him a fan favorite (go watch the todo anniversary(?) live with the fireplace and listen to what soonbin says about him)!

hyun’s quite famous for his magic and card tricks, watch any of his old levied with kai and you’ll see lol. he’s also famous for his fantastic falsetto, any song with a high note, he’s there, front and center slaying all the notes (go check out boy in luv, 0x1 = love song, and 20cm)!

hyun’s fandom name is “solomon”, so keep it in mind you plan on stanning!

huening kai kamal (02) – (aka my bias! well i’m really ot5 but… i am just a…….. lil bias to kai)

defining features – cute nose bump, heart shaped lips, unique eyes, moles !!!

we’ve come to the diamond maknae, huening kai! he’s often called a variety of things, huening kai, hyuka, kai, ningdungie, ning ning, kamal (but rarely! fun fact, did you know ‘kamal’ means perfection/completeness/wholeness in arabic? his parent’s knew what why were doing lmao).

he has the cutest bump on his nose which is a charming point, but look out for his height (he’s the second tallest!) and legs! they’re kinda unique, cause he has a thigh gap, even when his legs are together! his hair is usually brown, except for his recent blond and mint, which are now gone, so don’t orient yourself on it too much! what you can definitely track him down with his cute, but loud dolphin laugh! plus his voice is naturally a bit “cute”, since it’s slightly nasally, and he has a lot of natural but also intentional aegyo

he moved a. lot. !! he is mixed, half white, half korean! he was born in hawaii, moved to china and then moved to korea, and can now speak a total of 4 languages, (5 including peng), chinese, english, korean and japanese! he also mentioned knowing a bit of portuguese and that he was lenairng it with his dad recently!

speaking of family! david huening, his father, is also a musician, and released an album in china! (a few of people have asked why both his parents aren't together in recent family pictures, this is because his parents have unfortunately divorced and his father has a new partner). his two sisters, lea and bahiyyih are/were also idols! lea is no longer active as an idol, but does post on youtube and models frequently. bahiyyih recently won second place in the idol reality show girls planet 999, and had debuted in kep1er! (try and find a triplet that looks more similar istg-)

last but not least, kai is quite affectionate, known for his tummy pats, a habit he picked up as a child after losing his pillow, and patting his father’s stomach instead! (watch his and soobs old vlive to hear the full explanation). he’s a connoisseur, watch yeonjun and his asmr video for a full explanation of what soob’s stomach feels like lmao. he also has an obsession is plushies, namely molang, to the point where is bed is overflowing!

So, I feel like there's something somewhat isolating about being a sapphic ship enjoyer in fandom.

This might just be my experience but in the fandoms I've taken part in (mainly bnha and harry potter) female characters and sapphic ships are always relegated as background ships, if that, and underdeveloped characters.

And I understand that in those fandoms the protagonists are men and the male characters are the more developed so it's only natural to get attached to them and their mlm ships BUT I STILL FEEL IT'S SO UNFAIR

When it comes to bnha, you have Ochako Uraraka and Nana Shimura and Mina Ashido and Momo Yaoyorozu and Kyouka Jirou, all of them with some depth and backstory that can be exploited and developed further!!!! But no, characters like Hitoshi Shinsou or Denki Kaminari are more popular and get more attention despite them having less impact or development in the story.

And when it comes to Harry Potter, we have Hermione Granger, one of the main protagonists, and Ginny Weasley, Luna Lovegood, Molly Weasley, Nymphadora Tonks, I could keep going!!!

These women have so much potential in them and I feel that not only their original narratives do them a diservice but their fandoms does too.

But well, at the end of the day, I'm no one to tell you what to write or to enjoy, I just wished there were more people with whom I could fangirl about my girls and who saw them as I do.
