Carnivea: A Queer Gothic
A story of ghosts, violent delights, and the horrors of humanity. Carnivea follows a young couple Eris and Kiera who invite a young woman into their life- the lynchpin for years of pain to be unleashed.
The fact that no one has done a regency era gossip podcast akin to a scandal sheet like a reading of Lady Whistledown papers from Bridgerton is a tragedy!
If this already exists let me know. But I keep searching and not finding anything.
Corpses. A rift between the mayor and the sheriff. A monster in the forest. For the citizens of the tourist town of Monty, it's the end of the world. Tourists have canceled their trips, and the local authorities seem powerless to whatever haunts the town. Their only hope is a bounty put out to paranormal hunters around the country.
Monty was built by the Highriver State Park, and now the park may be the very thing which destroys it.
I’m currently binging two shows, Syntax and The Kingmaker Histories, which isn’t usual for me
the reason? I spend most of two days on Syntax and then Apple Podcasts was like. Nope. No episodes for you tor now. Gotta prevent you from yet again thinking and subsequently falling again into Stargate Atlantis fandom
That said, I really really like both of the shows too
For a long time we wanted to draw one of our lead characters Chanel (he/him) together with CHNT's Sydney because, like we've mentioned in one of our posts, we take a lot of inspiration from this podcast. Also because both of them are:
Fat, trans & fabulous!
A digital sketch of Chanel Boijko and Sydney Sargent, showing them from the hips up. The piece uses minimal colors: shades of blue for the background and the lineart, and pink for the lighting. Both Chanel and Sydney are looking at the viewer, Chanel making peace signs with both his hands and smiling cheerfully, and Sydney leaning on his crutches with a more relaxed smile. Chanel is a short, fat boy with freckles and shoulder-length wavy hair with bangs. He's wearing a dress with puffy sleeves and a flared skirt, heart earrings, and a simple ribbon choker. Sydney is a short, fat man with long wavy hair, with some plants and mushrooms sticking out of it. He's wearing a baggy sweater and a skirt, and several layered necklaces.

Are you a fiction podcaster? An Actual Play podcaster or video performer?
We want YOU to submit your work to Minnesota Web Fest! Late Deadline submissions are still open until 5/31.
Since I first attended NJ Web Fest in 2021, I've seen how desperately needed this kind of space for recognition, celebration, and collaboration is for AP producers and fiction podcasters, particularly on the indie level. We simply don't have the kind of opportunities to celebrate one another and build a real sense of community. And that's exactly what we're trying to build at MNWF.
Help us grow this opportunity to celebrate and recognize the work we do making this arform special.
Extra, Extra! At the beginning of each episode of The Bounty, our lovely journalist takes a moment to catch us up on the latest news, or interviews some of our brave monster hunters to understand some of their mindsets about the hunt!
Now, our journalist is about to conduct their first set of interviews, but they're trying to decide who they should contact first.
(For context: there are four main groups, and at least in the early episodes, each episode focuses on one of the four groups)
IF YOU LIKED TMA PLEASE LISTEN TO HOW I DIED IT IS SO GOOD!
I just started it today and I’ve already finished season 1. It’s not perfect by any means but it is good! If you like narrative podcasts, gore, true crime, or forensics this is for you. Also there are queer characters!
Basically, it’s about a forensic pathologist (which is essentially a coroner) who can speak to ghosts. So he is talking to the ghosts of the people he is operating on. Not to mention, something weird is happening in the town it takes place, Springfield…
PLEASE give it a shot! I need people to talk about it with
