Hello! Please direct your attention to this post. Today I will be sharing Lobna’s story. Lobna is 30 years old and she has 3 children and she lives in the Gaza Strip. She wishes dearly to help her children escape to a safer place but that is becoming increasingly difficult as the day goes on. Her 10 year old son Mohammed is injured and they do not have access to medical care. She has lost her home and now lives in a tent, I could not find any verification so please if you are able to please reblog and share the link. They are VERY far from their goal.

We/Us is an intergenerational photography and oral history project that celebrates the presence of butches and studs from working-class backgrounds within the British landscape. The project explores the experience of female masculinity through the structures of class and race all over the UK, capturing our diversity as well as our commonality.

When searching for images of butches and studs online, most that come up are from a bygone era, or from the US. Conversations around gender and identity today are often academic and London-centric, sometimes forgetting that our identities are informed by our every day lived experiences.

Our history and our lived experience is our gift to the world.

Fell in love with @yaelokre’s whimsical lil world of meadowlark so I decided to draw up some ocs! These chuckleheads are Briar and Oaks, two fledgling sales-folk who have many strange and mysterious wares for you to peruse, ooOOoOohh✨ (Not really though because they are Bad at business)

Briar (he/they) is the mouthpiece of their lil venture, and Oaks (they/it) is the curator.

What do they sell? 🔎👀 Wellll,,, their collection is pretty meagre, at the moment. A few choice pebbles, some dried dandelions. A shiny clam shell… Oaks tries their best.
