Olokun is from Benin, on the west coast of Africa. A complex figure, he is an ocean god, sometimes represented with two mudfish for legs, as in this photo from the National Museum in Leiden, Netherlands. He’s often shown on drums, ritual bells, bracelets, and doors. The oldest son of the high god, Osanobua (Or Osanobue), he lives in an underwater palace with his wives, who are the tributaries of the Ethiope River. He represents the sea, wealth, and fertility. Women who want children pray to him, and usually build altars to him before or after marriage. Since he is a marine deity, this is how his mudfish feet are generally explained. However, there is another story of how he gothis unusual feet.

Some Nigerian stories associate him with King Ohen, who was paralyzed partway through his reign. Physical infirmity wasn’t tolerated in the rulers of this kingdom, and if this was discovered, it would mean the end of his rule. To conceal his handicap, he had himself carried into the council chambers before his subjects. However, one of the chiefs hid in the council chambers and discovered his secret, so Ohen had him executed. There are two versions as to what happens next: in one, his subjects rebel, and Ohen is stoned to death or forced to suicide; in the other, it is revealed that he has been possessed by the god Olokun. Since mudfish were sacred, common people were not allowed to see his feet.

Another story takes this further, identifying his feet not as mudfish but as the electric catfish, capable of shocking up to 350 volts.This symbolizes the great power that would be transferred to the ground, causing harm, if his feet were to touch the earth. The image of King Ohen from the British Museum depicts this story, as the ruler is assisted by two attendants who help hold him up. Olokun is always shown as dressed very elaborately, wearing clothes of a man of very high rank.

Intro: I'm Ada! I write fanfiction mainly for Roman Reigns, but I expanded to Jey Uso and now I've added his twin Jimmy, lol. Also have a Samoa Joe fic lurking somewhere.

Pairings: As you'll see in my masterlist, ALL my OCs are Black women. Dark skin, light skin, caramel, slim, big...all beautiful Black baddies. Also, being Nigerian, I aim to incorporate more Nigerian names in my fics too. Sorry, I don't do slash of any kind. I've been asked before and it's just not my thing.

My first fic: My first-ever one was actually an RVD fic called Shattered Rose that I never finished, when white women were my OCs. I know wayyyy better now😬

My longest fic: My first baby, Into The Deep End. March 6, 2024 will make it ten years since I first published it on another platform. I worked so hard on it as a stress reliever when I was studying for my Masters, and to know that it still gets so much love on all the sites I've posted it on truly warms my heart. Targets is my second-longest, I really enjoyed that one too.

My shortest fic: Definitely Wait For You. Marian tagged me in a "Seven Sentence" challenge and this was the result. I'm terrible with <1000 word fics and it was truly a challenge, lol.

My most popular fic: So, there's three answers. Overall, Into The Deep End for sure. But for my one-shots, I still get messages and quotes about Power Couple (Roman/OC) and On Sight (Jey Uso/OC) to this day.

My personal fave fic: Lol this answer changes all the time. They're all my babies, I really can't choose. Each time I re-read one, I fall in love with it.

Name: Sora "Aaron" Senju Uchiha

Birthday: January 24

Height: 6'5"

Appearance: So his faceclaim is ^ but I also wanted him to look more like an Uchiha so he would have dark raven hair, like the Uchiha's in Naruto and the same eye color. Might make his hair a bit more curly

Voice claim: a deep male voice with a British accent. Think Hobie Brown and Howl Pendragon combined

Backstory: So long story short, in this reality I'm born in Japan but because I'm from two famous clans (half Senju, half Uchiha), my family moved to London and that's where I trained and I was homeschooled up until highschool. I move back to Japan a week before the entrance exam. Even though I could get in through recommendations, it would be more fun to go through the exams and take first place and put Bakugo in his place. I have two siblings who are twins (Minari and Masuru) and will grow up around Eri's age.

Quirk: Senju Sharingan (I'm horrible at names lol 💀) It's a unique quirk that combines the Uchiha clan's Sharingan and the regenerative abilities of the Senju clan. I'm also able to use Wood Release as well (For non-naruto fans, it's like a nature quirk with trees but more destructive).

Extra info -

So for my quirk, I can do ninjustu, learn taijutsu, and learn genjustu too. Instead of having to see people die to activate my sharingan, i just scripted I will have to train really hard and break my limits to get my sharingan and upgrade it too. Same goes for getting my mangekyo sharingan cause why would I give myself more trauma?

I scripted so many things for me being handsome it's not even funny 💀. I came there to steal attention and be hot and wanted, not to be a side character 🥱

[]: He will NOT go to sleep without his turtle plushie and if the turtle’s being washed he’ll probably be willing to sleep with one of his spider man plushies but usually Y/n washes his plushies together at the same time. So he won’t go to sleep until their done washing.

Shuri turns back to the console now completely focused on the console. Nahir sneaks away quietly and crawls to the hallway

“Panther, Nahir is in the hallway” Griot says warning Shuri

Shuri immediately runs after Nahir and grabs him from behind

*Nahir giggles* at Shuri’s firm hands tickling him while she picks him up

“Where are you going?. Eh, little one?” she says putting her on the same chair.

She stares at him for a second slowly turning back to the console and Nahir tries to move again but Shuri catches him

“Aht Aht” She grunts grabbing him as she gets an idea

She adjusts her Kimoyo Beads to Child Mode, as she does this her child reaches for her wrist wondering what the thing is glowing on her wrist

“Ehh” Nahir whines reaching for his mother

“Hang on” Shuri reassures him

She slides the beads off her wrists and gently grabs her son’s wrists, gently sliding them onto his.

“mmm” Nahir coos becoming interested in the beads tapping on them

Shuri does know how but he opens a game after a couple more taps, thinking she would have to turn on the game for him

“Brilliant..” She says as her eyes widen

She smiles softly at her son’s quick wits figuring out how to work the Kimoyo Beads at 7 MONTHS!?.

maybe just maybe….. he’d be as smart as his mother one day. As she thinks that her smile grows wider kissing her son’s forehead.
