"Neuvillette is a parental figure to Furina" is such a stupid fucking argument bc literally nothing about their relationship is exclusively and explicitly parental, especially not with Neuvillette in the role of the parent, and if you still peddle that shit in 2024 I'm manifesting wasps in your house.
He cares about her and is older (potentially, depending on how you count Furina's age) and he pays her pension post-4.2 but Neuvillette didn't raise her, he didn't provide her guidance on anything, didn't teach her things she needs to know in life and he's not her caretaker!
If anything, it would have been the other way around when Neuvillette first arrived in Fontaine. Furina would have been the one teaching him shit like Fontainian customs, etiquette and law.
But she's short and energetic and he's tall and quiet so they're forced to fit into the father-daughter boxes no matter what

so there's been versions of horror that don't talk. versions of dust that don't say a word. but what about killer man. what if he didn't speak???
i need this man to do the most outrageous crazy and unhinged things while saying not a single word. i need killer sans to stand in corners and not say anything while observing other people (just like how some people depicts horror/dust,,,,) with the most expressionless face ever. the guy cannot feel i want his face to show that. he will murder he will steal he will bother every living being around him while not saying a goddamn thing. ACTUALLY i want his face not to move at ALL!!! this killer's face looks like the 😐 emoji but it has tears. idk maybe it's because if he opens his mouth he'll start leaking dt and he wont even be able to talk so its not worth it. or maybe a certain red eyed child or oily king ordered him never to speak unless they tell him to and now killer just doesn't speak. he doesn't even learn sign language or body language or does any physical cues (voluntarily) because that's considering "speaking". idk just ideas but i like the idea of the guy that does arguably the craziest shit to just. not speak. or have any sort of body language ever. he stands and walks like a robot only sort of personality that shines through is in fights. but even if killer doesn't talk and have any sort of physical presence people will still be able to tell what hes like based on his actions
anyways maybe i just need ALL of the mtt not to speak. yeah that seems cool. none of them speak they just silently beat each other up (killer is dead silent dust is violently signing and horror is making several indescribable noises. this is the most intense fight they will ever have)

Dp x dc idea 30
Ellie has been vibing in Gotham with the bats. She knows their identity and they know hers. She’s been unofficially adopted. She won’t give up her last name and seemingly doesn’t exist so he can’t do it legally.. yet.
All of them think she ran away from her family. They are very concerned with her relationship with her brother. She’s saying things about how he forced her to leave, taunting foes about how her brother hits harder, called her unstable and so forth. Not to mention the lack of education and lack of social knowledge. She didn’t even know about stranger danger. They just have a bad view on the whole family.
She never explained he sent her away after a close call with the GIW (she remembers getting dragged into the van unable to escape), he trained her to fight better, he gave up a part of his core to stabilize her, and did everything he could to keep her safe. Ellie had not disclosed she’s a clone and has no intention of it.
One day when she’s out on patrol she spots Danny. As he’s human she detransforms to tackle hugs him properly. It’s dark out and she doesn’t notice the bags or pain in his eyes until she’s on him.
The way he stumbled back and the dried blood on his shirt didn’t bode well. Danny just kinda smiles at her and snaps a bracelet on her. She can feel the sudden loss of her powers.
Danny tells her while she had a close call he had the full call. The Giw had found a way to trace his core and it was leading them to Gotham despite having him locked up. The GIW naturally assumed they didn’t have the real phantom.
Danny explains everything too quickly for her to process. It’s not even until her feet are frozen to the ground in an alley hidden away does she realize what’s going on.
She can’t see it but hears the GIW catch him. Hears them call his scum and the shots. Hears the cheer when he was shot down and the engine of a vehicle zooming away.
All while the bats have been looking for Ellie. She just keeps turning invisible on patrol and ditching them. Not to mention they haven’t gotten any com/tracker to work due to her ghostliness. By the time they do she’s sitting in an alley in a puddle of water seemingly in shock.
It’s only then do they get the full story.
When Danny wakes up he expected to be stranded to a table again. Not in a room attached to medical equipment with freshly treated wounds and Ellie sitting besides him.

Also, I am watching Good Night Oppy (the documentary about the mission of the Mars rover Opportunity) because apparently I want to Cry. And aside from the NASA crew who worked on the project all lovingly referring to Opportunity and its sister Spirit as "she" and talking about how much the whole project meant to them, the lead engineer on the Spirit program, when talking about the end of Spirit's mission, just gently goes "I guess she was tired too, after all the work she had done" and just. Hang on. Hang on I need a second

Do you know this (noncanon) ADHD character?
Evidence below the cut!
can be pretty hyperactive, forgets things regularly (even important things, forgot he turned into a heartless in kh1), distractable, later on he seems to have some problems with emotional dysregulation. hes constantly called lazy by his friends but as soon as hes doing something he likes he has all the energy in the world, and also tends to dismiss his own intelligence despite actually being pretty smart, both of which are things that i think are decently common with undiagnosed adhd

Many unhappy returns specifically is kinda sad to me because it feels like it's supposed to be the splinter leo bonding episode of the show that he has with his kids. But for most of the episode other than the end of it, he's just kinda expressing his distrust and disaffection with Leo to him while Leo's going through the motions of his plans. And he praises leo at the end of the episode but it doesn't feel like anything gets resolved or addressed or even worked on like it does in other episodes that focus on splinter and his relationship with his kids like the ballad of rat man for donnie or hidden city's most wanted for mikey (kinda?)
Yeah imo “Many Unhappy Returns” is a fantastic episode for demonstrating Leo’s greatest strengths (his tactician brain and his ability to manipulate the playing field) as well as Leo’s greatest weaknesses (not discussing his plans with his team ahead of time and throwing them all into the swing of things without prior discussion, as well as his insecurity issues).
The episode also does well to show Splinter’s own flaws, that being he doesn’t really notice when his sons are suffering unless they make it blatant.
But…yeah the episode doesn’t really show us much resolve for that, not with Leo.
