Unpopular opinion, but there is such a thing as being more disabled than someone.
For instance, I’m currently a non ambulatory, full time wheelchair user with a variety of conditions. I am mentally and physically disabled. I can’t live alone, I need regular prompting to complete daily tasks, and I have frequent mental health or medical episodes that require the support of another person.
This being said, someone with late stage ALS or level 3 nonspeaking autism, is, and always will be more disabled than me.
Along with that, someone with a sole diagnosis of mild, inattentive ADHD is less disabled than me.
And since disabilities are spectrums, some people with the same exact diagnosis may experience disability differently. For instance, one person with Cerebral Palsy may be able to walk, talk and live alone, while the next person with CP will be a full time wheelchair user unable to self propel, need a full time caregiver and use an eye tracker to speak.
Taking all this into consideration, someone being more or less disabled than you doesn’t make your disability, experience, or accessibility needs invalid, it’s just a fact that they have higher support needs than you.

Being prone to medication side effects sucks so bad. Yes this medication helped with a symptom that was really bothering me. Unfortunately it also ruined my life.

They don't make pills for that...
One of the less talked about hallmarks of schizophrenia is the cognitive aspect. Typical antipsychotics work on D2 receptors, atypical antipsychotics work on serotonin 5-HT2 receptors, and both do an ok job at managing the positive symptoms of schizophrenia.
There are no pills for cognitive impairment. There are "cognitive enhancement" medications, but they are rarely, if ever, prescribed to people with schizophrenia, and their effectiveness is debatable.
There are things like diet and stress management (difficult when one eats the same thing every day for fear of being poisoned) that can aid in cognitive functioning, but there are no "magic" pills that "fix" the issues. Supplements are good, a balanced diet is good, but the problems with cognition and executive functioning persist.
Skill-building techniques help with the cognitive aspects of schizophrenia. Tasks that train working memory, processing, organization, attention, reasoning, etc. can help build up the pathways in the brain to support executive functioning skills.
While everyone's situation is unique and some people's symptoms are much more severe than others, people with schizophrenia do have the ability to learn and develop new skills. Just because it may take us longer than the average bear doesn't mean we can't do it.

Batman Annual #25
Before Talia took him in, before he was dunked in the pit to have his memories restored, even when operating purely on survival instinct, he always split a meal with the other homeless people. It may not have been essential to his survival, but caring about and helping other people when he couldn’t even help himself was just always such an intrinsic part of Jason’s core.

The Electric State
Just watched The Electric State on Netflix. Not going to say too much about it, but I think the critics completely and utterly missed the point(s) of this movie. It was poignant and topical and well written. It was also fun and interesting. It did not spoon-feed the viewer, however, and there were times when I was like, "is this an AI apologist vehicle?" To which I can definitively answer, "No." Just view it through the lens of what we as a nation are going through right now, and it'll find the appropriate spots to settle.

did Virginia abandon WV? And what's their current relationship?
Actually, no. Virginia did not abandon WV.
Robin just got to him first. The stress from the time period had her mental state wrecked; while it was the first thing she thought of, she didn’t believe it even then.
The relationship between Virginia ans WV is pretty normal. The Younger States all pretty well get along with their Grandparents; and West Virginia is no exception. He likes spending time with New Hampshire and Rhode Island most, though 🤷‍♀️. Everyone has a favorite of their grandparents.

1 incredibly clever and witty with insightful descriptions of people/characters that make you fascinated or

#iwtv is so much more fun if you're willing to actually dissect the story and characters and their world in good faith#which also means applying faults to characters as they are actually seen and not exaggerated or diminished simply by a bias#But when there is nothing actually definitive (only assumption to confirm) you can't actually say who's doing what w/o some bias involved#and yes a lot of times thats entirely going to be the right assumption because we can definitely infer#But there's a realm to where you do have to consider all possibilities are possible if they are left unanswered#you can place inferences but you can't claim them as definitive if they are just inferences#and other people are just going to have different inferences even bias. But this shouldn't mess with what's definitive about it.#basically taking a good faith journalism stance on it so your not falling into possible problematic biases#there are also functions of vampirism and how it works in this context which do not mirror our world 1 to 1#for instance whereas humans have to live in direct contact with society and its various problems bias and ideologies vampires live on the#outskirts of this. Only ever coming into contact by influencing onto that world by their outside actions or appearances#the human world serves nothing for them except as threat or supply for wants or needs. There's no real connection there.#When mapping vampiric existence onto human existence it can a lot of times lead to problems in trying to bridge this cognitive dissonance.#You can not be in community with humanity when you are by nature a being opposed to it. Which is contentious when you want to be part still#They can be effected by this and effect onto it yes but they are not actually a part of it and never will be.#I'd say if you effect onto humanity positively it's better to have it for the enjoyment of it alone as opposed to seeking human connection#as any criticisms of this connection your trying to seek is essentially denial your own sought humanity as opposed to the object of doing#and this would always be a lost cause#but i think I digress here#there are also cultural beliefs and practices of vampires that are not found in our world such as laws and covens and ideologies#a lot of which are quite actually opposed to normal human understandings of rightness and morality#they culturally are more open to accepting those who are viewed as less than or moral because this is a reflection of themselves#And we can and should certainly point to all of this stuff for what it is I feel
