Hey I'm not transfem but I just want to say: THANK YOU SO MUCH for disavowing the TMA/TME binary. As a nonbinary person, it really hurts to have an AGAB-based term be considered an important part of my identity and how I experience transphobia. Even worse, it lumps me in with my cisgender oppressors. Unfortunately I've been a bit harassed by other people for speaking out about that, so it feels really good to see someone standing up for people like me :) I hope you're having a good day!

hi! i'm so glad to have received this ask. i hate the binary of TMA/TME so much because nobody is exempt from any form of oppression, that's literally not how oppression works. also, i'm intersex and find that binary to be exclusive of my community and not made with a lot of intersex people in mind.

i'm sorry you've been harassed for speaking out about this. nobody deserves mistreatment for speaking up when their experience is minimized and defined in a way that isn't accurate.

was talking to my gf about my fear of dying young for being trans and my mom putting my deadname on my gravestone, and she said "i hope that never happens, but if it does, i will carve your name into your grave myself if i have to." and i think theres something extremely raw about that sentiment and trans community in general. you can kill only our bodies, but you cant kill transsexuality

Right, considering the current state of corporate politics on this site, and that it seems that only those affected seem to be actively speaking on the matter, this needs to be dragged out to a wider audience.

This extends to refusing to believe in bogus call-out posts for frankly minuscule thinks such as being horny or kinky, especially if the target is presenting in an ‘unconventional’ manner, (therians, etc.) this double standard where it is seen as ‘degenerate’ for transfemmes to merely exist in certain spaces, yet everyone else is fine to do so is disgusting and part of the reason for the backlash.
