⸻ sitting in front of what he would usually use as his vlog-slash-ghost-hunting camera, jinhae reaches over to press the record button, waiting for the red light to turn on. once he gets the signal, he gives the camera a wave and a small smile, " hello, this video is for yang jongho and him only. i'll be uploading it to my youtube channel for everyone to see though. because . . as much as he hates attention, i think everyone deserves to know how much of an impact he's made on my whole life. " looking at himself in the viewfinder, jinhae couldn't help but burst out laughing at how serious he looked. " ah, this looks like an apology video -- but i'm telling you all right now, it's not. i didn't do anything problematic, or, least i think i didn't. i'm just here to talk about my boyfriend, and to show my appreciation to him. my handwriting is shit, so i thought a video letter would be better. "

now that his little introduction was done, the soccer player takes a deep breath, " jongho ya, if you're watching this right now, first off, hello. i hope you're comfortable wherever you're watching this from. " breaking out a bigger smile, he briefly looks over at his phone on the table, " it is now, august 22nd, 2:33am, and i stepped away from the room just so i could record this. you're asleep right now, and -- as always, i didn't want to wake the baby angel cherub sleeping beside me. you look so at peace when you're asleep and i know the both of us struggle with sleep so i would never want to take away even one second of your sleep from you. " lacing his fingers together, he rests his hands over his stomach and leans back on the chair comfortably, " to be honest, i don't know where i should even start. i feel like, even though we've been officially dating for just a month, we've gone through so much already. " thoughts of him and his journey to win jongho's heart start playing in his head like an old movie in his head, causing him to smile once again.

" to start off, i wanted to say thank you. for . . quite literally everything you do for me. if i could describe it, you added color to my life. for the longest time, it felt like i was in some sort of black and white movie. but when you came in, everything changed. i can't even quantify how much my life has changed since we started dating. " now leaning over the table with both elbows to come closer to the camera, he continues on, " but you didn't just turn my whole life around for the better -- even i myself, i know that i've changed internally. you and your love changed me. i started to look forward to every single morning. rather than living life aimlessly with no real goals or ambitions, i even started to envision and look forward the future. " jinhae clears his throat, lips twitching into a small smile, " a future with you in it. no matter how much i tried to look at things, i really couldn't imagine living out the rest of my days without you - and really, that's when i knew that you were different. see, i've met a lot of people in my life, seen a lot of faces, even spent intimate moments with others . . but nothing else has come close to the feeling you give me. with you, i'm home. you are my home. " sincere words continue to pour out of him, " no one else makes me feel loved and adored the way you do. when i look into those eyes, those beautiful, wonderful eyes, i can feel your heart. without even saying anything, i can feel your love. . right. . here. " he pokes at the left side of his chest, looking down momentarily before gazing up at the camera, heartfelt eyes staring into the camera lens.

" do you remember our conversation about my dream ? when i told you that i had the recurring scene in my head of you lying on the snow and me rushing to you ? it's weird to say out loud, but i really feel as if this happened. i do fully believe that we've met so many times in our past lives. " a solemn nod follows, " do you think we loved each other in those lifetimes too ? i would like to think so. there's no other explanation for why we're so drawn to each other like this. " his hand brushes through his thick hair, tilting his head, tongue swiping over his lips to wet them, " and, i hope you don't mind but -- i'd like to think that even in the lifetimes to follow, i will still be loving you. doesn't matter if you don't love me back, i know my heart will always, always scream your name. i feel it, jongho ya. and i know you feel it too. " he raises his hand, pointing to his empty ring finger, reciting a quote he memorized before, " this magical cord may stretch or tangle, but never break. " jinhae didn't really need to give much context, as he already knew that jongho could clearly catch onto what he was talking about. it was fate. they were fated to be together, and the both of them knew that.

right on cue, as he was about to wrap up, he heard some rustling coming from the other room, " ah, i think you're awake so -- i gotta wrap this up. hmm, let me think about how to wrap this up nicely. " tucking his lower lip under his upper tier, he puffs out his cheeks in thought, organizing his thoughts, " just know. whatever the future holds for us - whether good or bad, i will always be here for you. i don't care what kind of role i will play in your life, as long as i'm in it. i will always be your rock, your knight-in-shining armor for when you need it, i will keep you safe. and i will make damn sure that you feel loved every fucking day because it's what you deserve, yang jongho, that, and so much more. " jinhae wasn't much of a crier, but one could clearly see the tears welling in his eyes as he smiles, showing off the smile that he knew jongho loved, baring his whole set of teeth, " okay, i gotta go. bye, future jongho ! i have to go give past jongho some kisses now. " he then starts waving at the camera, his smile staying in place, " i love you. " and with that, he presses the end record button, effectively cutting the video.

I want an AU where after Jason gets brought back to life, he channels his inner rage and turmoil into the academics instead of murder

Talia has like infinite money and a crap ton of influence, so she can absolutely get Jason the best tutors and can easily get him into the most prestigious schools if Jason wanted to (she doesn't need to do that though because Jason's just smart enough to get into them on his own)

The major he chooses? Med.

Why? Because Bruce dropped out of med school.

Jason practically flies through all the secondary education that he needs to catch up on and is already en route to earning his bachelor's AND his master's.

And it'd be so incredibly funny if the way Bruce and Jason reunite in this AU was purely by coincidence.

Bruce (as Brucie Wayne) offers to show up as a guest lecturer at Hudson University (the school Dick attended but dropped out of so double points for Jason), maybe to talk about future career paths and job positions at WE idk

So as Bruce is just wandering around the campus, he randomly bumps into a student and immediately puts on the Brucie act and is all "Oh my, I'm SO sorry, I'm just a klutz haha" only to stop dead silent when he makes eye contact with a very alive, very grown Jason Todd, who also stops dead in his tracks, mouth agape, staring at Bruce like the world's about to end

And before Bruce can get his thoughts straight, Jason just bolts out of there like his life depends on it, and Bruce is just in shambles for the rest of the day.

It doesn't help that the person giving Bruce the tour is all like "Oh yeah, that's Jason, he's one of the heads on our student council haha, anyways, this way, Mr. Wayne." and Bruce is just stood there bluescreening.

Alternatively, it'd be kinda funny if this all happened AFTER the events of UTRH where after the final encounter with Bruce and Joker and the whole explosion, Jason's just like "yk what, maybe I'm just gonna turn over a new leaf and pursue a higher education"

So while Gotham's still reeling from the aftermath of Jason's near takeover as the top crime lord and Bruce is still painstakingly trying to figure out where his son went, the whole time Jason's just been chilling on a school campus and Bruce just so happens to bump into his son (who, last time they met, tried to kill Bruce and blew up the building they were all in) and Jason's just all normal-looking with his textbooks and nerdy glasses and Bruce doesn't know whether to scream or cry.

what if belos makes another grimwalker?

[ ID: A digital comic featuring the main cast from The Owl House, all in their post Thanks to Them designs. In the first panel on the first page, from left to right, Gus, Amity, Hunter, Willow, Luz, and Camila are standing, facing off against an unseen Belos. Hunter is in the very back, with Gus and Luz more to the front, and everyone else is somewhere in the middle.  Luz is holding glyphs out, the top of her face obscured by the panel. She says, “End of the line, Belos. There’s nothing else you can do.” Clouds float by in the background. In the second panel, everyone is posed the same way, except it’s zoomed in on Hunter this time. He has a shocked/confused expression on his face. He whispers, “is that..?” Meanwhile, an (again) unseen Belos says, “ Oh Luz, you really are a fool. You didn’t think I would have anything else up my sleeve? Why do you think I sent Hunter on all those supply missions?”  The third panel is a close up shot of Hunter’s eyes, which are brown. He looks shocked and confused. The text around him says, “The Selkidomus scales.... Those Galdorstones...” Belos continues talking, as the dialouge in the bottom says, “I’m surprised you haven’t figured it out yet. Especially after he betrayed me.” End of Page One.

In the first panel on the second page, a masked golden guard can be seen stepping out of the dark, hand on his mask. A partially obscured Belos in his monster form lurks in the background, head obscured. His hands are on both side of the golden guard, almost like he’s presenting him. Belos continues to speak, as the text on the left reads, “What a shame, really.” The right side reads, “... But, Oh well. I can always do it again.”

The second panel on the second page is a closeup shot of the new golden guard’s eyes, which are the magenta/pink colour hunter used to have. This grimwalker looks ahead, eyebrows furrowed. He has a birthmark on his left cheek and a light scar across his nose, similar to Phillip’s in Elsewhere and Elsewhen. The text below it reads, with Belos still speaking, “... Do tell me though, Hunter.” With a crossed out/ glitched “Caleb” before the word Hunter.

In the last panel on the second page, the new golden guard can be seen from the waist up, wearing Hunter’s old golden guard uniform. He holds Hunter’s old staff, looking ahead determinedly. Belos’ hand rests on his right shoulder, with a looming Belos over his left shoulder in the background. Belos’ head is obscured except for his mouth, which appears to be an almost smile. He says in the text below the panel, “How does it feel to be replaced?” End ID.]

PV has bear elements, so SM has a jester hat shaped more like bunny ears. Pajama/onesie and slippers because of the dreamy theme. Strawberry (because Pure Vanilla has a cherry) & hair shaped like whipped cream to with the dessert motifs. Pure Vanilla's staff in this skin looks kiiiinda like a spoon, so I gave Shadow Milk an answering fork!

I actually have no idea what Pure Vanilla's costume is even named, but if anyone does play/understand the Chinese version & would like to share, then I'd love to learn more about it! This was mostly just guessing work and going off of the themes and vibes lol
