This is the tarot reading that inspired starting this blog! I was reading with one of my favorite decks, the Alleyman Tarot by @publishinggoblin, and I realized that I didn't even know I was holding myself back. The bogeyman isn't real: it's the fear of what might be in the dark that keeps you from reaching for the next door or opportunity.

I've been working on my tarot TTRPG worldbuild and using divination in my 5e dungeons and dragon games for years now, but it never has felt "done enough" to share. That's nonsense! I think it'll be fun to continue to build this world and some RPG divination tools while I start to share things here.

Pt 0 good omens i make predictions for season 3 after watching three episodes of S1

[WARNING THESE PROPHECIES ARE BY THE GOOD OMENS MASCOT AND KNOWN MESSENGER OF APOLLO AND SO CLEARLY 100% LEGIT STAY IF YOU DARE *OMINOUS TREMBLING*]

First, because I am a messenger of Apollo, I am compelled to write cryptic verse before I explain it to you, so take what the Voice of Delphi speaks to me:

Now, because we are not in ancient Greece and I am not as cruel as you, I will explain as best as I can. You wanted to know if we will find salvation in season 3. Like Edgar Allan Poe, you asked me, is there, is there balm in Gilead (season 3)? Unlike the raven I will not say nevermore, but here:

We all know Crowley and Aziraphale will get together, but I'd advise you that the smell of angst is in the air. I say this as both prophet and writer, but for the story to end happily and still keep us suckers glued, it will drag Aziraphale and Crowley through the dirt to get there. You will get the happy ending, but at an emotional price that even season 2 did not prepare you for.

The fucking apocalypse plotline is going sneak in again, I smell it like ice on mountain air and fungus in a moist cave. Mostly the fungus metaphor.

Aziraphale will kiss Crowley first in this season. It is only fair.

There will be a hug. An Aziraphale-Crowley hug. Who hugs whom? Delphi has not spoken to me of that in detail, but a wee little nightingale told me it is a possibility they will both fall into the hug and we will know they needed it like they needed breathing and it wasn't planned but it was inevitable. The whole fandom can then sleep again.

I expect at least two more ineffable husbands breakups. But you guys survived season 2 (I haven't yet. If I die, can someone reblog this with 'he told us so!' when season 3 finally comes out?) so I have faith in you, war veterans.

Crowley will know, finally, that he is more than forgiven. He is loved. Aziraphale will know, finally, that the real heaven was the home he found with Crowley. Heaven and god will retreat. It's okay, guys, it'll take time but it will happen.

I’m pretty pleased with this one, though I never want to attempt painting wheat in a long while. I hated every second.

Also I can’t draw cats despite having two real life ones and examining their faces every day lol. Mews is better off drawn unrealistically cartoony, her preferred state.

I'm a tumblr veteran, but this sideblog is new in town, so I thought I'd introduce myself! I'm Morgan, use they/them pronouns, and I'm a forever DM and divination witch.

I have been tinkering with a tarot themed TTRPG worldbuild, which I refer to as my Omens & Oracles verse, and I have been running a 5e dungeons & dragons game in it for a few years now. I feel like I'm finally ready to start sharing it as I continue to build it, and thought I could also share some of my ideas for different ways to incorporate divination into worldbuilding and running TTRPG games! I'm hoping to make both system neutral and 5e/Tales of the Valiant compatible content.

Stay tuned for some tarot readings, tarot worldbuilding spreads, and musings on in game divination. In terms of my Omens & Oracles worldbuild, you can look forward to: a full pantheon with the 22 Major Arcana cards as the deities, a country based around each of the Minor Arcana suits, two distinct timelines, and an adventure that pits your party against a cult of the Chariot.

The Goddess, the eye, the hand & the owl—

At this time of year, here, I am blessed with many owl visitors at night. The owl has long been an emissary of the night-time goddesses, bringer of omens & blessings of insight, knowledge & wisdom. The owl associates with our visionary & intuitive capacities for mystical flight & inner sight with the inner eyes of deep awareness.

In ancient Egypt, the goddess, is the eye of the Sun-god.

The Sun is the all-seeing witnessing eye of the heavens or the celestial eye that is the omniscient I of awareness, but the power of awareness, to be aware or to see, is the goddess.

The Sun represents the idea of the monad or God, as the symbol of absolute oneness & omnidirectional/ dimensionless wholeness. Circumscribing the circle-symbolised by the serpent-goddess circling & spiralling around the boundary of the egg or Sun-disk or God-establishes a centre point— the eye of God, the power to see & know— the centre is the l of I, or I am I- now there is conscious awareness of existence- knowledge of my own existence emerges- as light of knowing/seeing.

What is absolutely one is boundless & cannot see itself, & by bringing forth a centre or void, there is now polarity within the egg, a gradient of force, or an arrow or line- the arrow plunges into the void, or is pulled or sucked into the centre, & when the arrow penetrates the circle or centre, the emanation of light explodes into a universe & worlds.

Like stars/suns, galaxies & nebulae's appear to us as images of eyes in the vastness of space- also resembling the pupil & iris of the eye, eyes are the portals of visionary, witnessing awareness, the capacity of inner sight.

Like the iris is a hologram & fractal of our fate-paths & destinies across Soul landscapes, so are the vibrational spirals & swirls on the palms of the hand. The light of the Soul is most clearly seen in the eyes.

But the eyes are not what sees, it is the awareness behind the eyes, that is the agent of seeing, the eyes are the instrument. So is the hand an instrument of awareness- & energy. There are chakras-circles of energy— at the inner eye behind the forehead & in the palms of the hand.
