Did a four post cards back to back and sent them at different times so they showed up like a puzzle. My friend has been spending a lot of time at the Library and has been journaling and sending out applications for jobs. She's been having a rough time of it and I wanted to send her a card with a song on it but added a bit more elements from her life. I wanted to encourage her to go her own route .

In life, we are often told that we have to be at certain stages by certain times and when we don't meet the world's timeline, we feel less than, but no one can walk your own path like you do. What might be best for someone else might not be the best path for you.

She once tolde as a kid she misheard the lyrics for Don't Dream It's Over by Crowded House as don't dream in colour. I added a balck and white uncoloured portion of a dream that showed the dream lead going her own way and writing for herself and not the world. It shows her strength encourages her to take control of her own path.

never in your [age] years of life have you ever thought that you’d resort to online applications to interact with the opposite sex. although, it’s a far cry to dating apps, it stills leaves a weird feeling in your stomach.

if it not had been for your colleague telling you that you’re already far from high school and that you can’t exactly use going to an all-girls school as an excuse as to why you’re so socially inept when it comes to men. so in her mind, the way to go about this and fix that little problem of yours... was to download this app. granted, she was actually being very considerate of you as she didn’t immediately opt for you to download dating apps but instead just a penpal system and it was not her fault you’re not good with men— or just people in general. and while she was right that you do need to stop making any more excuses, it gnaws on you that you have to rely on a mobile app.

Kujou Sara had been a penpal of yours, writing back and forth about your lives. When you tell her you would like a change of pace, she gladly tells you about a position in this office she works at. She also sends over the application form, as well as the address to send the letter to. You had met each other several times in person, and both of you felt comfortable with the idea of you staying with her until you found a place if you got the job.

By a stroke of luck, you get in! You pack your bags, and you get ready for your new life.

On your induction, a really friendly man had the honour of introducing you to the job. He goes out of his way to make sure you were comfortable with everything, showing you the important places (namely the staff toilets and the cafeteria). He introduces you to your colleagues, who mostly seem excited about you.

Well, with exception of a quiet man who didn't seem to thrive in social environments. Brushing it off, you soon make friends.

Gorou inevitably becomes the object of your affections. He regularly goes to get coffee with you, hell he even got lunch for the both of you once! He always made an effort to ask you specifically when you got off on the same time if you wanted to do something, and you found with these experiences you fell hard for him.

When you hush about him to your roommate and former pen pal, she sighs out.

"Gorou is like that with everyone." Kujou Sara states, a look of sympathy as she notices your demeanor change. "He's known for being an overly friendly guy, but he's also known for unintentionally giving people the wrong idea." She warns you.

"But I-"

"Does he look at you the same way he does everyone else?" She stops you. You shut your mouth, realising she was right.

"...Please keep this discussion between us. I don't think I could show up to work if anyone found out I got feelings." You explain.

Kujou Sara nods, and she gets an idea.

"Hey, how about we do something tonight? Let's go out and meet new people, that office isn't the best place for romance." She states.

You both agree to go out the next day, as it was the end of your working week.

Gorou approaches you, a soft smile on his face as he leans on your desk.

"Hey, wanna go get lunch? My treat." He asks, a bright smile at the end.

"I think I'll pass. Thanks for the offer, though!" You nod, before continuing to type. Gorou shifts between his feet, clearly uncomfortable with something.

"Oh..." Gorou trails off. You think he perhaps did have feelings for you based on how quiet and shy he seemed, but that's quickly squashed when he calls out for Kazuha to join him instead.

Ah, he must have been surprised with you saying no for the first time. He must have just seen you as a really reliable friend who he could always hang out with. Unfortunately for the both of you, you had different kinds of feelings.

You couldn't wait for your friend to take you to meet new people.

For Eos it happened much later, during the EW tank rolequests and after. Without spoiling anything let's just say kan-e's determined look - a change from her usual calm and composed face - had eos go insane. And in general kan-e's actions were hot by essence. do the tank rolequests

Listen. Eos loves kan-e's necklace and from there her neck and shoulders. But more generally she loves how kan-e carries herself, and the way she talks, too. It's all about being modest about your charge to the point you fuse with the woods you swore to serve and act accordingly - that's hot okay. Though it's also hot when you start dreaming of adventure Kan-E loves the way Eos dresses (concealing outfits) and her scales too. More generally life on the road makes someone look hot in her eyes. I think.

3. By contrast, what was the moment that first made their ~heart~ Soft for the other person? Not necessarily a conscious realization of “I love this person,” but a moment that had them like “Oh…I adore them…"

Hehehehe. So this one happened quite early on for eos even though she didn't make sense of it until muuuuch later. So back in heavensward merlwyb tells the wol that she and kan-e-senna didn't just *leave* the bloody banquet like that, but actually used their influence afterwards to protect our name and reputation until we were proven guilty or innocent. Eos, who was distrustful of the alliance at the time, was surprised. Then, much later, kan-e-senna travels to the churning mists to parley with the moogles - and the specific thing that stood out to eos was not her speech, but "the offering of light and wind" she makes to moglin. it is pure, it is soothing, it is peaceful and true: from this moment eos knows kan-e-senna isn't lying about her intents (which achieves to rebuild her trust in the alliance). Really a "oh... i adore her"... realization indeed. She will not dare to dwell on it for a while. You know how it is

For Kan-E this is something that happened off-screen: she mostly heard her siblings describe eos' training as a conjurer then as a white mage. On top of the whole warrior of light business, eos is very devoted to the land and a steadfast and calming presence which wasn't true at the time, eos was screaming internally at any given second, but she kept giving off this vibe. so... "i adore her" by proxy.

In both case it doesn't go further until endwalker because well they don't get to see each other a lot what with all "the war is raging and the world is dying" situation

7. Do they (or would they) pursue the other character’s affection, and if so, how? Do they tell the other character how they feel? Try to earn their admiration? Woo them with romantic gestures? Flirt with them, skillfully or otherwise?

SOOOOO this answer's gonna be a mess BUT. they chose to be penpals post-Endwalker and this decision alone was a display of affection. Eos not being very good with words she sends drawings of the places she visits to kan-e, so the elder seedseer can still have a taste of adventure. Conversely kan-e keeps her informed of what's going on in the twelveswood so eos knows her new home is safe. in general she's very keen on making eos feel safe in the woods. They're both very curious about the other's culture, even if it led to a few disagreements. Eos is still silent most of the time and the rare words she now feels comfortable enough to utter are usually for kan-e, but she'd rather show her affection through physical touch or little attentions. Once their relationship begins they try not to conceal anything from each other and they are. mostly. very soft. they don't feel the need to earn the other's admiration; they both silently respect the other and have been for some time even before they got to know the other.

It been days since I've heard from my Iranian penpal. Last week was her 22nd birthday, so I bid her a happy birthday and hoped for all her wishes to come true. She's good at responding back, but not this time. I hope it's just because her VPN got blocked, and not anything more sinister happened to her. Prayers for 'Honey Bee' please.

I will absolutely do that, looks like Iran as a whole is getting throttled and all the different channels are hit. Still physical infrastructure that exists so VPN probably can only get you so far.

But then the government cracked down on internet access; WhatsApp, Signal, Viber, Skype and Instagram were blocked.

Now, groups are mobilizing to scale those growing walls. Most recently, a group of activists has come up with a new approach that involves Tor servers inside Iran itself, and engaging the tech community outside the country.

As that group looks to bring on more participation, its approach — using servers inside the country as a sort of “Trojan Horse for internet access” — is gaining endorsement from the free-speech community at large. Currently, some 200 people are using servers run by the group of activists who devised the method; that method is now posted on GitHub, and the group has not tracked how many others might be using it, too.

“If Iran has segmented off its residential internet access from the rest of the world, but its servers located within the country can still access both Iranian residential IPs as well as the outside internet, then setting up servers within the country to relay traffic should work,” Bill Budington, senior staff technologist at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, told TechCrunch. __________________

The tech community outside Iran has come to play an important part in helping protesters get back online.

Google said in a tweet that its “teams are working to make our tools broadly available, following the newly updated U.S. sanctions applicable to communications services.”

Messaging apps Signal and WhatsApp have been working on proxies to make their services available inside Iran.

“We are working to keep our Iranian friends connected and will do anything within our technical capacity to keep our service up and running,” the Meta-owned messaging app tweeted in September. ___________________

Starlink is also in position but getting the terminals in country is exceedingly difficult, also getting caught with one is probably a good way to get killed.
