Those little, useless things that took most of your time and energy. But who are you to oppose to someone who had mercifully hired you and give you a roof over your head? No one.

Who more than once caught you sleeping in the middle of doing your work. But that's alright. He just takes this chance to come closer and hold your hand, caress your head or cheek. Unfortunately, he has to wake you up at some point but he always uses most of this short period of time to have some type of concat with you.

Who never fails to admire (stare) at you while you work. Most of the tasks given to you are either related or include him. Either way, you spent most of your time with him. 𝐘𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫𝐞! 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭 made sure of that and he didn't regret it one bit because he has got to be with you. Oh how he loved it when you are near him. You bring him peace he needs in his stressful and rushing life. You are just so...endearing. To this day he can't decide if he wants to flaunt you around or lock you in one of the chambers where only he would be able to look at you.

Why do people still go to Mostro Lounge if Azul enslaved 225 students? Like how is he not out of bussines

I DON’T KNOW 😭 I’ve never understood that part???? And how easily everything is resolved????

The end of book 3 tries to hand-wave it off as, “well, Azul implemented a point card system/promotion that was just so good that it compensated for all the negative rumors about the bad things he actually did” but like 💀 even then, I never bought it…

Consider the prices plus how the point card system and its perks work:

Assuming that you need 50 points to get that consultation with Azul + the items listed here are the only ones that qualify toward the point system, that means you'd be spending at LEAST 250 thaumarks (which I'm going to consider the equivalent to 250 USD for the sake of simplicity), if not 300 thaumarks. That's not including any potential tax or tip they may charge on top of the cost of the actual menu items. If you're going for the three-point card perks, you're easily spending 750 to 900 bucks on the Mostro Lounge. Maybe that seems like chump change to some of the rich, privileged kids that attend NRC but that's still a considerable amount of money to spend at one establishment... I'll concede that the argument can be made that this investment is "worth it" because of Azul's consultation being such a useful thing. It seems like you could ask him for anything, so long as its within his means. So yeah, it’s true, his services can be an extremely powerful boon to have on your side (assuming, of course, that he's capable of granting your wish and you agree to the terms set). The issue then becomes a matter of trust between client and Azul.

I don't know about you, but I cannot believe that after Azul tricked and enslaved 220+ students (over a QUARTER of the total student body) with his promises that everyone would so easily forgive what he did and suddenly trust that he wouldn't try pulling similar shit again. And since I doubt any mob would drop 250-300 thaumarks in one day just to get the consultation ASAP (but a bunch of food he can't eat), the points system would be a long term commitment... meaning mobs go into this establishment regularly, knowing that it's run by a guy that would double cross them if it benefitted him, weirdly trusting that he wouldn't???????? Trusting that he had a sudden change of heart and wouldn’t revert back to his old ways???????? Not holding grudges??????? Nah, I don't buy that one bit. AZUL'S REP WOULD BE IN THE TOILET, AND I DON'T THINK A GOOD DEAL ON EATERY LOYALTY WOULD REVERSE THAT... At that point, the mobs are practically begging to be scammed… Also???? The only thing that Crowley technically told Azul he can't do is to take anyone's powers 💀 so literally nothing is stopping Azul from trying to one-up or cheat his clients out of other things... Agreements like the one where he tried to claim Ramshackle Dorm for himself would still be totally valid under Crowley's new but poorly defined restrictions. Why doesn't the headmaster just forbid Azul from running his shady side business altogether 😭 or at least revoke the manager position from Azul?????? The school gets 10% of the lounge’s profits, so maybe Crowley doesn’t want to lose that income—but if that’s the case, why not just put new management in charge and still reap the monetary benefits??? Even just upping the percentage the school takes from their earnings would be more of a punishment…

I'm about to cancel this man on Magicam for his crimes/j I guess this is easily explained by the mob students all being dumb/arrogant, but that’s such a cop-out 😭 My only hope is that volume 3 of the light novel adaptation will go more in-depth about the post-OB backlash Azul experiences (similar to how it did for volume 1) 💦 because the way the game presents it, it feels like he and the Mostro Lounge made an almost immediate comeback 😭 which isn’t realistic at all…

* After losing to Johnny, Kenshi is absolutely pissed because he’s never failed a mission.

* Johnny and Kenshi’s relationship initially starts off very hostile they bicker argue and insult each other but trough training at the academy they slowly start to put that behind them and it evolves to a sort of rivalry less hating each other and more competitive if that makes sense.

* Kenshi was surprised when Johnny gave him Sento while yes he’s cocky and acts childish Kenshi still feels guilty for all the lives that he has taken while being a part of the yakuza, Kenshi doesn’t feel like he deserves this until Johnny explains his reasonings and slowly starts to put the past behind him and starts hope for a brighter future.

* Because his personality is different in this AU instead of being knows for action movies Johnny is most known for horror and historical films.

* His social media presence is small but he’s still got big fanbase that likes him for his mysterious aura.

* Johnny and Cris break up still for the same reason as normal : Johnny’s spending habits and perhaps some looked over alcohol problems.

* Did not understand at all what was going on when Kenshi broke in. Whas this a movie ? A prank ? Or is it real ? Dont look at him because he doesn’t know either.

* Johnny keeps sento to himself not because of it’s monitory gain instead for it’s history and doesn’t give it to Kenshi because he think that he’s untrustworthy.

* Eventually after being in the Wu Shi academy for long enough he starts to slowly open up to the people around him.

* Kenshi tends to rile him up so after a while when he gets annoyed he’ll talk shit back to Kenshi and they’ll be off just bickering (like love birds WHO SAID THAT)

* As for the dreaded Mileena poking Kenshi’s eyes out™ i imagine it goes pretty much the same Johnny realises that Kenshi saved him. Even trough all the bickering and rivalries that they had Kenshi still choose to sacrifice his sight for him.

* After the incident Johnny gives Sento to Kenshi as a token of his appreciation of the man and the sacrifice that he committed.

Suggestion shockbee au where shockwave runs a speak easy that's secretly a front for the decepticon mob and ends up falling for their newest bartender/performer bumblebee.

Ooh now that's interesting-

Hmm, I suppose it looks like this: Megatron doesn't give Shockwave the puny task of infiltrating autobot school but instead sends him to be Decepticon's back door to Cybertron. He set up as a rather high-end bar.

Most of the staff are in kahoots with the true purpose of the establishment but of course they have to hire more folks for entertainment purposes n such. Shockwave, disguised as Longarm, is the boss and rarely comes out to interact with the people, the manager is the one who handles new hires so he doesn't have to bother with it himself.

Of course, things don't always go smoothly with the out-of-the-loop folks. The bartender of the local was highly suspicious of the things going on in the back rooms, it's gotten to the point of the other workers catching him snooping around in the office. That couldn't go unnoticed so Longarm had someone take care of the mech. And so a new position opened up and was taken faster than anyone expected.

Longarm went on about his bussines, at least until the point of the place being inspected by the Cybertron's version of FDA. Longarm was required to be present in the restaurant, he got to really see how his service was operating and handling guests. During one of the talks, his attention was caught by a particular giggle. His optics landed on the small yellow bot behind the bar- he was the newest hire in the position of a bartender. His laid back demeanor and friendly expression as he professionally served drinks to the bots at the counter only made him more fit for the job. There was something about the mech that Longarm couldn't quite place...

After everything was checked and approved Longarm found himself coming out to the local more often. He'd check if everything was going well and sometimes chat with the guests, but really it was all an excuse to come and observe the bartender work. From the way he interacted with other people to the impressive tricks and ways to serve drinks, it made Longarm proud in a way but also tugged at his consciousness to go and talk with him.

One day during the opening hours check-up, Longarm was making a list of all the bewerages in the bar, since the manager couldn't come in that day ,when a voice called out to him. It was the bartender, he came in earlier and decided to have a small chat with the boss. His name was Bumblebee and he has worked in a bar before it closed and forced him to look for a new job. The mech was funny and very friendly with a bit of sass. Longarm made sure to tell him how pleased he was with his work and even gave him a raise.

From then on Longarm made sure to come and chat with Bee whenever he was on shift. One time when they talked, Longarm thought it would be a good idea to go out and have a lunch together, get to know each other more n such. Bee was hesitant but he agreed and they went to the new place that opened up down town. They had a good time together, laughed and chatted. Soon it became a little routine of theirs; just go out and chat about the week. Longarm had noticed Bee being a little more open about his personal life the longer they talked, he also started seeing Longarm as more of a friend than a boss. One time during some special holiday Longarm decided to take Bee and few of his other friends out for drinks. Bee challenged everyone in the pub to a drink off and gained quite a lot from the bets placed. He might have been small but he could hold his high grade better that anyone Longarm even knew. Still, he ended up drunk enough to not be able to walk on his own. Longarm took this opportunity to tow him back to his place and put him to berth.

The next day Bee woke up with a massive hangover he was greeted by none other than his friend/boss Longarm. Turns out Long was also drunk yesterday and didn't bother making a second trip to his place so he just crashed on the couch. And no, he assured Bee nothing else happened. They spend the day just chilling and trying to cope with the headaches, in the evening they watched a movie and Bee ended up falling into recharge cuddled up on Longarm's lap. Longarm took him to berth and left a note saying he went back home and that Bee has the rest of the week off.

Now, I imagine them being in that awkward private interest/workplace people phase; Bee likes Longarm but thinks it's wrong to date his boss so he keeps it to himself and only acts this relaxed in private. Same with Longarm, except he doesn't mind their work status. I'm not too sure how they would get together- I guess Longarm takes Bee out to some event he mentioned wanting to go and they end up on a something like a date. Bee's very awkward up until the point Longarm takes them to some private area and asks him out for real. Bee of course is a bit torn but then again, he wasn't the one to always follow the social rules so why shouldn't he date his boss. He agrees and from then on they date in secret. While on the clock they remain just friendly coworkers but in private they get to enjoy each other's company for real.

Bee's place isn't exactly in the best conditions so Longarm lets Bee crash at his apartment. It's rather luxiorious and has a room for Bee to stay in, even tho he prefers Longarm's berth. Longarm still keeps up the Decepticon front in secret, although I wouldn't be surprised if Bee had already found out cuz of his curiosity. He doesn't think much of it but he keeps quiet, he's happy and gets a fat cut of the spoils from Longarm and he couldn't care less about other things.

this is something i feel tumblr would like.

so i'm decently young (23) and i'm working in this office environment. it's way different than my old help desk library job and i don't interact with a lot of people on a daily basis anymore. i also work from home a lot more.

the thing is, as many of you have seen from a lot of my posts: i have the mouth of a sailor. which is a no-go in an office environment unless you have like, a chill boss and chill coworkers or you say it under your breath.

now i'm relatively new to this position. i'm an intern so of course i need to be shown the ropes. i was assigned something by a manager and the guy training me pops into my teams pm and says something along the lines of 'did you know you were going to be doing this?' and said 'no lol'. bc that was the first time i was hearing about it.

so of course the person training me is going to teach me, which i feel bad about bc he also didn't know i was assigned this. so he says he'll teach me how to generate the report for it and not to worry, i send him a thanks and an elmo gif bc why not. and then he sends me one word in reply.

"Bet."

I take 10d6 psychic damage. But this was all my fault. A monster of my own doing.

you see, when you have the mouth of a sailor you learn how to filter yourself in different situations. 'oh no' is more appropriate to say when your boss springs something on you rather than 'are you shitting me'. but my self made filter also catches a lot of my gen-z vernacular.

so while working from home on meetings you're muted. you can scream at a motherfucker and they will be none the wiser. i let my filter drop at home bc, well, it's home. but that's where i fucked up.

the guy training me gave me an assignment and showed me how to do it, and when he asked if i understood, i said, "Bet".

I obviously apologized for the slip up (he thought i was calling him 'bub' which no, please, don't hate me) and I went back to my silly little work task.

But That Wasn't all.

i feel like so many people fall into a trap of making all of their characters 'good' regardless of their alignment. people will take villains and turn them good because they can't help but reflect their own personal beliefs onto them but i love that with jae, you don't shy away from giving him aspects of his personality that aren't good. you make him complex, interesting. you give him a depth that only a talented writer can give a character; i always find myself interested in his next move, his opinion, his past and how it effects him / has him think. i'm very intrigued by the way you write him because i see a character with /layers/ ( like shrek fr fr bussin ).

SKZ 5 STAR COMEBACK THOUGHTS

first, a review of the songs and then my overall thoughts!!

song review

Hall of Fame: from the get go, it establishes the space vibe with the opening tune! a great opening love the galileo and armstrong references etc, although the 'one small step' quote from armstrong, while it does fit the theme, kinda breaks up the song for me so it's not my favourite part. the build up in the prechorus is SO GOOD! the chorus is really punchy and i'm so in love with felix's little rap verse he really does make it iconic.

S-Class: so so so COOL!! the whistling part is so awesome and it starts with guns blazing with changbin's rap. HYUNJIN SLAYED THAT VERSE!! i really love it. all the raps are so good and the serpent road melody is so good?? THIS CHORUS IS HIGHLY ADDICTIVE!! the switch to a slower beat and the hip hop vibe was very unexpected but very welcome :) the buildup to the second chorus is so great omg i love how its the same but different! seungmin was really good in the we're special part ughhhh the dance break slayed so much as well i just have positive things to say about this song except maybe the ending i don't hate but also don't love how it ends

ITEM: GAMER ERA!! it's 'funnily annoying' just like they said in the intro video really does give video game vibes! super addictive and i love the diction as changbin focused on it really levels up the song. ITEM ITEM I ATE THEM PAC MAN!!! han's rap >>> i also like felix's celebrate we gonna elevate line that was so good i ate that shit up. Super Bowl: omg. literally. i can see how it was meant to be the original gods menu but im glad they saved it for five star because it honestly just fits so much better with this album and it feels a lot more cohesive. ENGLISH SONG KINGS!! every line is just pure mastery ugh i'm so hooked onto this song and the way chan says ruULes like >>>> changbin's rap ughhhhh and then jeongin saying the everything you're craving its all me like TOAST?? BABY BREAD WHO? and then the stunner HELL OF A LINE I KNOW ITS HELLA FINE HELLS KITCHEN TASTING DIVINE!! the backing instrumental is quite simple which works well because the singing isn't overshadowed. never thought i'd live to see the day hanji said 'bussin' but WHO ELSE?? such a killer like omg and then the chorus UGH I DIED the whispering the word play the seductive vibe with the urge to shake my ass off and ugh i can't compute. heyday reference by changbin!!! lee know's prechorus was so good ugh i really would like a mv or smth for this as well. the bridge was really good imo!!! and the transition from the 'bring the rain' to 'cooking up a storm' and having the same semantic field UGHHHH the ending with felix was so fine as well 🤤

DLC: THIS IS SO GREAT!! the instrumental is so nice, a lot lighter than the previous songs and a nice break from the heaviness hehe. the tune is so addictive and i love the SUNRISE part <3. even if the lyrics are a bit sad, as @oh-the-aster-blooms put it, 'sometimes when you are sad, dancing all night sounds better', and i totally agree :) everything just kinda flows so well and their voices work really well together. i really adore i.n's 'run away run away' part my baby has such an angelic voice. the bridge is also cool :)

GET LIT: idk is it just me but for some reason get lit just brings worth it by 5th harmony to mind with the jazzy vibes at the start, but like...better (no offence to 5th harmony) this is such a swag brag song! the raps are so great to start off omg and then the sudden transition to seungmin's beautiful voice ugh THE CHORUS!!!! i love how felix does his line and it drops into the vibe. the next verse is so like subtle brag idk how to explain it but the swerve swerve part> i do feel imo that the bridge is bit disconnected at the beginning but when changbin does his 'speaker' part it flows really well. i like the dance break! it is a bit repetitive but oh well it slays anyways.

Collision: i saw someone somewhere say it was like chill on steroids (idk who u are sorry for not giving credit 🙇‍♀️) and its so true. it really has the same vibe like sad but also like vibey idk i think the instruments help a lot with establishing that mood. vocalracha slayed in this >>> so did hyunjinnie and lee know <;3 babe i loved you that line is so good felix >>> and BANG CHAN IN THE VERSE AFTER THE FIRST CHORUS?? so good ugh its like a rainy day kinda song when u just feel a bit sentimental. also felix and...was it lee know? in the second pre chorus? that sounded so amazing ughhhh i really like that metaphor of crashing its very bittersweet <3 han slayed again

FNF: such a strong start with chan!!! changbin and han's raps were so great and the prechorus was really like heart rending idk thats jsut the power of vocalracha ig and again as @oh-the-aster-blooms and i were discussing the chorus does have a great pace which does give the impression of trying to catch up! it gives off movie soundtrack vibes imo. the way they blended their voices with felix was so cool!! hyunjinnie slayed that rap damn. the bridge was so good as well. the meaning behind this song >>

Youtiful: such a sweet song showing their love for stay! chan's explanation was so TT i love my boys so much the instrumental is so soft and soothing and the lyrics >>> listening to this just made my heart warm. its the audio version of chan's big hug <3 this was a very good song for chan. also seungmin, lee know and i.n as well!! i could listen to my babe jeongin saying 'you are a miracle' for ever. the chorus slaps.

i don't really count these two as part of the album as they were already released/just a translated ver so its a lot briefer

THE SOUND (Korean Ver.): the Japanese version slayed, so does this. i liked how they changed the chorus, and everything just fits well idk sometimes i find the translated versions a bit jarring after being used to the og one but this is really good!

such a great album omg. i love all the songs!!! the line count has improved quite a bit (although lino is lacking in some parts) but overall its pretty fair imo factoring the roles different members play. they've definitely shown us a different facet of their music which is so cool and innovative! love love love
