Harukawa is looking at him like she’s disturbed, like she’s only just now realising that this isn’t a lie, her hands clenching and unclenching at her sides. “You…”

She doesn’t finish the thought, though, trailing off and looking slightly lost, and when he’s sure she won’t continue, he lifts a hand to rub the back of his neck, letting out a breath.

“Okay,” he says. He wants to know what Saihara means by sidekicks, but there’s so much that’s confusing to him right now, he doesn’t want to reach for excessive information and get his head even more muddled than it already is. Instead, he runs his hand through his hair, wrinkling his nose when it comes away sweaty, and reaches down to wipe it off on his hospital gown. “Uh, I got another question, if that’s okay?”

“Sure,” Saihara says, breathlessly, one of his hands lifted to cup his mouth. “What is it?”

“Who am I?”

Amacha Headcanons Post-Simulation

Amacha potential??? Yeah, lemme hop on that!!

Pain ripped through her throat, burning her neck, chest and lungs. She began shaking, she couldn't stop the blood, she couldn't call for help, the skin was so tender and inflamed, it became hard to breathe -- she was losing hope. The blood oozing, lapping her throat, and dripping on her hands, made her scream. But it met her ears in the form of a struggled gargle. She was going to die alone. All she wanted was to bring Himiko peace, she didn't want THIS, she didn't believe in the fucking seance for crying out loud!

Before anger could fester in her subconscious she blacked out. Everything went dead quiet, everything went black. Until fatigue and needles pinched her fingers and feet. The second her senses grasped something her lungs heaved hungrily, selfishly sucking in air to try and revitalise her system. Cold air washed over her as the "whoosh" sound of a door sliding open occurred around her. She flinched, she trembled, her entire system was in shock as it stared into the empty void of her headset.

TeamDR's observation team and nurses took care of her. Whilst her fellow "classmates" reacted to the latest footage.

Tenko stayed in the recovery room for a long while, slowly getting a hold of reality. She wasn't supposed to meet any of the participants yet; she just wasn't ready. But Rantaro knew what that felt like, the flooding of memories you had disowned, the loneliness that prickled your skin for hours endlessly, the cold feeling of the grim reaper's scythe piercing your neck before awakening in a foreign/lab-like environment... She'd been in rehab for far longer than the others. He thought he was doing her a good thing by bringing her some water and a friendly face.

She flinched when he knocked on the door. Eyes studying him as if she was expecting him to lunge at her at any moment. That intimidating air she had in-game, was now replaced by one of recoiling fear. He gave her kind eyes and sympathy. He couldn't leave her lonely, if it was his sister sitting here, he'd want someone to comfort her.

"Hey, you should drink some water," He approached her carefully, unsure of how she'd react. She said nothing, eyes switching focus all over his body. She seemed on edge, so he casually sits in a nearby chair backwards. This makes her eyes bulge. "I'm not gonna hurt cha. I'm not a suspicious guy remember?" he chuckles, trying to lighten the mood.

It helps. "Yeah...totally not sus that you don't know how to sit in a chair proply." she jokes, making him ease up, "Seriously what was Team DR thinking when they made up your official art,"

"Ay, it shows I'm a casual guy," "More like a weirdo," They get along. He can sense her pensive nature but is happy to take it slow. When she goes quiet, he speaks up, "This is nice, considering our characters never interacted. Oh, where are my manners, name's Rantaro Amami, former ultimate survivor, pretty ironic, huh?"

"Yeah, but I guess that's Danganronpa for you... You're famous from your appearance in DanganRonpa: 52, you know." She's a fan.

"Thanks, but correct me if I'm wrong, I didn't think you'd take too kindly to the typical snooty, famous type." He joked casually, friendly, "You just strike me as...the girl next door...quiet, shy...nothing like your in-game character..."

"Wow, you're not bad at reading people..."

"All in a day's work, DR took interest in my travelling lifestyle; but in actuality, I just can't stay in one spot for too long. Why should I when there's a world to see?"

"Hm, so you are the aloof type," She noted, "Yeah...I don't really know how to feel about my character...Team DR took my awful childhood and made me out to be this comedic-relief character when in reality...I thought my sob story would make a really inspirational story...I'm kinda embarrassed to face everyone now, honestly."

"Nonsense, I'm sure they'll love the real you, I know I do," he said it so casually, unaware of the confidence he just bestowed her, "considering how abrasive FakeTenko was..." He gets to his feet and opens his palm to her, "C'mon, I'll introduce you, I'm pretty used to it by now. I'll take all the pressure off you,"

He put her at ease. She shadows him during the game's chapter 4. Kaede scared her, Kirumi was a Debby downer, Angie had so much rage over her death. Korekiyo was outcasted/misunderstood she's able to sympathise with him as her character was also an outlier but that took time as his character arc was tragic yet disturbing. Ryoma was alright though. Very realistic but acted like the dad of the group and tried to keep the peace among these emotional DR fans.

Rantaro always keeps Tenko updated with the most popular characters as hers was 3rd fav throughout Japan. He liked her shy smile. She was much more stable than the rest of the deceased cast.

Tenko warms up to the boys first since they're more chill/fragile/real than she ever imagined and she could sympathise/relate to that.

I never even considered this, Thank you Ghost Anon!! Will add when I think of more ideas heeheehee~!

You do realise you’re talking to the girl who finished the game last year. Thanks for requesting this anon, it was fun to properly observe the pre-game characters when I went over the first bit. Now, I will be telling you guys some theories that I have so this is my complete opinion. Hope you enjoy!

Drv3 characters’ pre-game personalities!

Kaede:

. We all (probably) saw her audition video in Chapter 6.

. So it gives me an opinion that Kaede was kind of an emotionless person, as she mentioned that she had no faith in humanity, so she auditioned for Danganronpa to probably actually feel and experience some emotions.

. But this theory has flaws since we can see that she’s actually smiling in the video.

. But then it reminded me of a character from this particular game I used to be obsessed in.

. And that was Ayano Aishi, also known as Yandere Chan from Yandere Simulator.

. There was this video that the creator of that game posted on Youtube and that was Ayano’s backstory.

. It mentioned how she was unable to feel emotions so she was bullied for it.

. But then she realised that it would change if only she PRETENDED to have emotions.

. So that’s my crazy theory of Kaede’s pre-game personality, I just believe that she auditioned to experience emotions and only pretended to have them to feel more human. (I know the theory really sucks)

Shuichi:

. Same as Kaede, we see his audition for Danganronpa.

. But in this one, we watch a very obsessed Shuichi.

. I believe that Shuichi, in a way, was quite similar to Junko.

. He was obsessed with the whole killing games and he only wanted to get in for Danganronpa so he could get executed. (Now doesn’t that sounds similar to a girl who went absolutely bonkers with despair in dr1?)

. But, don’t you think that it’s a bit depressing how Shuichi is willingly giving up his life to a game and wants to be executed?

. That gives me vibes that he was like Ryoma in the actual game.

. Maybe he just gave up on life but yet at the same time, he was obsessed with Danganronpa so he auditioned for the thrill and most possibly his suicide.

Kokichi:

. Trust me, I’ve already heard enough theories on this little liar.

. But I have to admit, I agree with all of them.

. I believe that Kokichi was a shy, nervous boy who was constantly afraid of people judging him and hating him.

. So he auditioned for Danganronpa so he could recieve an awesome talent and make everyone love and notice him. (He did that very well)

. Kokichi wanted to be the Ultimate Supreme Leader so that he could finally feel like he’s on top of everyone for once.

. Since I think that he was bullied at school for being so quiet and shy.

. Basically, Kokichi wanted to audition for Danganronpa for popularity.

Kaito:

. Kaito is the last audition video we get to see in the game.

. And it shows a very annoying pre-game Kaito wanting to win the killing game by killing everyone.

. From the way Kaito was acting, I believe that his pre-game personality consists on him being your steriotypical high school jock.

. So I believe that he auditioned so that everyone knew his name.

. I think he wanted to win the game by killing someone and get away with it so everyone else would get executed and he’ll live as a survivor.

. So I just believe that he was quite delusional and narssistic.

Tsumugi:

. (Don’t judge but I really like her)

. Okay, I’m just going to ignore the whole ‘mastermind’ thing and get right onto my theory.

. I believe that Tsumugi has a similar personality to the one in the game, minus the ‘Junko’ and ‘despair’ parts.

. I think that she just saw herself as a plain, ordinary young girl but this time, she doesn’t have an Ultimate Talent to back her up.

. So Tsumugi eventually got sick of being a plain girl when she saw the auditions for Danganronpa.

. And she wanted to feel important with an Ultimate Talent as well as the role as one of the characters in Danganronpa.

. So then that leads me to think that Team Danganronpa chose her as the mastermind, maybe to spice things up.

. I think that Tsumugi might actually have been the puppet all this time and someone else was at the strings.

Korekiyo:

. I have a great theory for him.

. I believe that Kiyo was just a dull, pratically lifeless student who didn’t see much in humanity or life.

. He signed up for Danganronpa so he could be killed.

. But, I also have this theory that he mentioned in his audition how much he hated his older sister and how he would try to spend as less time as possible around her.

. So Kiyo was someone who never loved anyone and nobody loved him, which made him come up with the desision to audition for Danganronpa so he would die.

. (At least he never was in love with his sister)

Kirumi:

. To be honest, I would see Kirumi as the laid back girl who relied on people to do everything for her.

. I feel like she would be the person who wants everyone to serve and satisfy her needs.

. I think she auditioned for Danganronpa so everyone would fall for her and treat her like a queen.

. But don’t you think it’s quite ironic how she ended up as a maid?

. But other than that, there’s not much I can say about her.

Tenko:

. I see Tenko as a shy, timid girl who was a bit clingy towards the people she truly trusts and cares for.

. I think her timidness was caused when she probably fell in love with a boy but he rejected her.

. The experience left her heartbroken and a bit weak.

. So she auditioned for Danganronpa so she could have a powerful talent and personality.

. I believe that she wanted to forget the weak version of herself and see a brand new alternative version.

I hope it’s okay but I’m going to do half of the Ultimates first before I do the final 8. I’m going to try to get the second half done quickly but I just need to think about the rest of the students. Hope you like it so far! Bye for now!

UTDP Season 2 Begins!

I’ve finally done it. All the sprites I need are at the ready to be used for some weird, funky interactions. Season 2 of UTDP is underway!

Now, I hope with this you’ll all be submitting your own requests, but since we’re about to enter the new series, it’s probably best if we go over the rules. Under the cut will be a list of rules that will apply when it comes to requesting certain interactions, and I’ve already got a list of requests at the ready, but I welcome more. If you want to request an interaction, then I recommend you go over these rules once more just to be sure.

I see you’re interested...? Well, just so you know, this will be a bit long on one part specifically.

Rule 1: Only the characters listed below will be allowed to be requested.

Not every Danganronpa character will allowed to be requested, particularly obscure one’s who don’t have a whole lot of character to them. However, my goal for this series is to include as many characters as possible. This is a long list too, so if there’s a certain character that you’re looking for, the list below is in Alphabetical Order by first name, so you can search for it that way. Not only that, but after each name will be the game/source material where that character is from, in case you don’t recognize some of them.

Rule 2: Only 3 characters are allowed per interaction.

In order to replicate the game to the best of it’s ability, each interaction may only allow 2 or 3 characters and no more. As of such, I hope the requests will abide by this rule, since I’ve gotten requests before involving way more than three.

Rule 3: Credit for all fan-made sprites go to their original owners.

If you want to use the sprites I use for your own projects, then I have no problems with that personally, but just to be clear, most of these sprites aren’t mine. If their not from the original game, then they’re fan-creations and the rights go to their original creators. A new page has opened up on my Tumblr where all the sprites original sources are located, and you can go and check them out there.

Rule 4: The New System.

As I’ve made clear before, not all interactions are requests. I have a long list of interactions that I pre-wrote for this series a while ago, and I intend to get all of those done. As of such I will be going by a new system. I’ll be uploading two interactions per day from now on. One will be a request, and the other will be one of my writes. I’ve delayed people enough, so that is why I am going to be going with this system so I can stay on track.

Rule 5: Reddit Requests will no longer be accepted.

As unfortunate as it may seem to some, I will no longer be accepting requests delivered to me through Reddit. Only asks that are sent directly through Tumblr will be allowed now, but I WILL finish all requests on Reddit before I end it. The ban is in place as of now though, so if you request through the Reddit link, I will not answer your request.

Rule 6: Additional Rules may be added as this series goes on depending on feedback.

This isn’t put in place because I don’t trust people, but say for example there’s a character from the list that isn’t on it that you REALLY think deserves to be on it, then let me know, and I will consider it. Same goes for any other aspect of this rule list.
