Painful placements in astrology I

💜 Sun square/conjunct/opposite/inconjunct (quincunx) Pluto. Inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees. If I see this in a natal chart it would indicate to me that the native has had issues with their father or figures with authority in general. Could also be men in their family. I have also noticed the fathers side of the family were absent, early on they could have been separated. The separation could be due to many threats. If not cultivated well, this aspect is common amongst serial killers and people notorious for being bullies.

💙 Moon square/conjunct/opposite/inconjunct (quincunx) Pluto. Inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees. Now this would indicate a person who has issues with the mother figure in their family. This could also indicate issues with the women figures in their life. These people are also very distant with their mother’s side of the family. Like harsh Pluto and Sun, they were separated early on. Which again potentially could’ve been due to threats to their safety in general. If not cultivated well, this can lead to mental health issues, especially those relating to Pluto. Dark obsessions and desires etc.

💜 Having square placements to personal planets, this alone is very hard to deal with as there is strong friction no matter which side you look at. These people need to work on the aspect and appropriately release the energy, depending on the house, sign, and degree.

💙 Pluto in 12th. These individuals harbour a lot of their trauma in the subconscious. They have probably also seen some crazy things in the spirit world. It’s like they attract that sort of attention without really meaning to aswell. These individuals may also have very disturbing dreams and sleep paralysis.

💜 Saturn/Uranus/Chiron in 11th. This is a constant cycle of feeling alienated from society. These people may feel like they never found their group of friends. They crave for a home they’ve never had. These are also the type of people who have had friends make secret group chats behind their back and never include them. Just because Uranus is at home here, doesn’t make it any easier. This is also true if these placements are in Aquarius.

💙 Harsh Venus and Saturn aspect (square, opposition, inconjunction). Or Venus in Capricorn/aquarius. These people were made to feel unworthy of love and care when they were younger. There’s a constant battle between loving oneself and self destructive behaviours. There is an imbalance with their feminine side, due to masculine/ figures of authority, making them feel like they weren’t good enough.

💜 Harsh Moon and Venus aspects (square, opposition, inconjunction). Again made to feel like they weren’t pretty enough and probably dealt with a lot of toxicity from maternal figures. There is also an imbalance with their feminine side due to issues with women, and maternal figures. These people also a lot of the times refuse to acknowledge their emotions and bottle things up a lot.

💙 Having inconjunctions/quincunx aspects. They need to be at a maximum 2/3 degree orb. This is similar to opposition. But the difference here is that two signs that have no similarity are making a harsh aspect. There’s bound to be heat and constant internal conflict. This one is about learning to balance the scale of energies from both areas.

💜 8th house placements. These people are constantly undergoing transformations in their life. They can easily leave everyone on delivered for months and when they return, they are no longer the same person. Then the cycle repeats. There’s a lot of trauma in these people’s lives, and a lot of it comes from family. But they’re also naturally talented when it comes to things like the occult. This aspect is powerful for astrologers as it gives the native the talent to deeply study and observe people for long periods of time. This also includes psychology.

💙 Saturn opposite/square/inconjunct Pluto. Again inconjunctions should be maximum 2/3 degrees to be truly felt. This is more of a generational aspect (may reflect the society more so). These individuals dad could carry some sort of deep trauma. This is a pretty heavy energy so will require a lot of work for the generation that has this. In addition, the themes of the abuse they dealt with surround feeling restricted from expressing oneself in regards to what Pluto represents. They seem like the sheep or the scape goat of the family. Also if they have siblings that don’t have a similar aspect, if they make a mistake, the punishment they receive can be harsher than if their sibling was to make the same mistake. Their dad/ authority figures in their family can also be/ may have been involved in the dark side of structured systems and have a lot of experience and knowledge regarding the world from that.

The High Priestess represents the mystery of the subconscious and the vast knowledge that we carry within ourselves. Our subconscious mind and our souls contain much information, and yet our daily lives are so removed from this part of ourselves that we generally struggle to access it at all. The High Priestess represents our dreams, hopes, fears, buried emotions, our memories and all of the wisdom that our soul possesses. She is tied to all of the great mysteries of life, the occult, and our intuition.

One of the most important messages of The High Priestess is that these secrets do not exist outside of ourselves - we contain all of the answers we seek within ourselves if we dare to dive deeper. She invites us to spend time in meditation and trancework, to work on developing our intuition and to listen to the quiet voice inside of ourselves that is trying to guide us.

Much like The Hermit, The High Priestess is a message to withdraw from the outer world and turn inward. However, whereas The Hermit dedicates himself to a more intellectual approach of contemplation and study, The High Priestess’s wisdom comes from her own intuitive knowing and channeling. Introduction + free readings

Hello everyone! It’s occult waters, but you can call me Selene. I’ve created this blog to share my knowledge and skills around my abilities and divination. 100 days of mental healthcare: day 10/100

I really made my best today. I woke up around 5 am and played Stardew Valley for half an hour. After that I went out for a run when the sun was rising. I had therapy before lunch and after that I went to the gym and studied the vagus nerve and the polyvagal theory for 1h30. Being active helped me to manage my anxiety for a long time today and I want to try it again tomorrow. I want to build inner resilience.

Also, today was Blossom’s release day!!! 💐 Simple Joys is my favorite track, followed by Mars. It’s not my favorite album from Kyungsoo but I really enjoyed it.

Marie Laveau. Voodoo Queen.

Marie Catherine Laveau (September 10, 1801 – June 15, 1881) was a Louisiana Creole practitioner of Voodoo, herbalist and midwife who was renowned in New Orleans. Her daughter, Marie Laveau II (1827 – c. 1862), also practiced rootwork, conjure, Native American and African spiritualism as well as Louisiana Voodoo. Her daughter was to me the most powerful one.

Her Real Story. Her house was probably on St. Ann St. She would have lived in a creole cottage similar to the one in this picture but probably not as clean.

She did have kids with her husband but there's no record of them as adults so they probably died young. Her and her husband did get married at St Louis cathedral he was a Haitian man.Then sometime around 1825 Jacques Perry her husband so called disappeared they tried to make it a big mystery but in all honesty people back then didn't really report that loved ones death. After St Louis cathedral burned down they lost all the records so later on she started calling herself the widow Perry. The story of her actually being a hairdresser there is no record her being a hairdresser there was a book that was written by George Washington Cabal in 1880 who wrote about a voodoo priestess who was a hairdresser and people later on assume that he was speaking about Marie Laveau. There was also another man Kristoff Glapion and one of the stores that they have of him is that he was born a free man of color but record show that he was actually born of two white parents. She wasn't married to this man kristoff because at that time a black woman could not marry a white man but she did stay with him and she stayed with him until his death. They stay together for probably around 30 years and then she includes him in the Perry tomb. After kristoff died she was in so much financial debt they had to sell off the house on Saint Ann Street to pay for his funeral and anything else that needs to be paid off. So she didn't have a place to stay until one of their family friends name Crocker bought the property and let her stay there until she died.

Legend.

The legend of Marie Laveau it runs deep through the veins of New Orleans. The Voodoo priestess was believed to have been born free in the French Quarter of New Orleans, Louisiana, about 1794, the daughter of a white planter and a free Creole woman of color.

The source of this power was the Voodoo religion and its queen, Marie Laveau. She was worshiped at the same time she's was feared by people of all races. Some people believe that her powers were actually based on a network of informants. Being a hairdresser, she was able to lesson to her clients (mostly white) gossip. She used this inside information to influence and instill fear in her believers. Whether or not the legends of this Voodoo priestess are true, it cannot be denied that she has left her mark on the city. She was buried in Saint Louis Cemetery No. 1 in New Orleans in 1881. Her daughter in St Louis cemetery no. 2

To this day her and her daughters tomb continues to attract visitors who unlawfully desecrate it by marking three “x”s (XXX) on its side, in the hopes that Laveau’s spirit will grant them a wish. Ok, let me say first no one who practices Voodoo whenever desecrate a grave of writing on it second she isn't a voodoo spirit since Louisiana Voodoo is part Haitian and African she's not a elevated spirit. She's a woman that is well known and well respected within our city. What she really is in voodoo. She's a conjured spirit similar to a saint she is called upon to do a specific task.

BECOMING A DEVOTEE: these days Marie Laveau devotees are no different they still believe in Jesus and saints, just as Madame Marie did. They go to church, pray the rosary, and work the gris gris. Some voodooist here in New Orleans believe Marie Laveau is one of the Lwa (Loa) in Voodoo tradition. She is honored on many altars and shrines through New Orleans. People pray to her or even make wishes to her. Understand who she was and what she did for people and the city. The rituals and blessings she preformed like the St John's Eve blessings. So get to know her.

BUILDING AN ALTAR Building her altar isn't complicated a statue or pic of her. You can add flowers. Candles white, blue or red or even add her veves. (symbol) (normally she wouldn't have the symbol because she's not a voodoo spirit but she's important so they made one for her anyway)

OFFERING: This can be flowers, mini liquor bottle, cigarettes, cigars. Money she's not picky.

Your relationship with spirit will be different from the next person’s. The connection you make with Marie Laveau will be unique to only you.
