There is no life in Rafah. There is no water or food. I travel long distances under bombardment and danger to get water

we are being attacked. We also lost our home and many of our friends

This is where my family lives. The place lacks the basic necessities of life.

It is filthy, with garbage piles nearby and insects everywhere💔

Most residents suffer from diseases, and there are no hospitals or medical care. 🏥🚫

I have no solution to evacuate my family except by publishing this to seek help for my family in this difficult time

My beautiful child died because of the war. R I P

My first child died due to lack of food, and now my wife is pregnant, and I hope you will save her so that she can be born in a safe place.. My child was one year old. He could not bear hunger and thirst. He began to suffer from dehydration in his little body. Until the disease worsened and he was unable to breastfeed from his mother because his mother suffered from malnutrition My child lay in the hospital for three days in difficult conditions. The hospital did not have a bed for patients. My child slept on the floor and could not bear it and died because of the war

My child was very beautiful and always loved to laugh and play. I remember in October, two days before the war, it was his first birthday I am so sad because I will miss my baby I always see the pictures of my child that I take on my phone and cry every day

I cry every day for my child who died. My wife is pregnant with my second child, and I hope you will help me leave the Rafah area. We are being bombed every day. I’m tired of empathy only being within our power to help the inhumanity going on in the world. Bringing awareness to genocide & slavery isn’t stopping it. It’s getting more eyes to witness the atrocities but it is infuriating that all we can do is be heartbroken about what’s happening.

The tears we cry have not formed into an ocean with divided waters that Moses walked through to free the Israelites from slavery. We need to do more than quote verses from the Bible..writing poetry is thought provoking but not saving lives. We need to do more than virtually care…images spread the message but we need impact with actual salvation. Not just to awaken global empathy. Who is suffering is already crying, they don’t need anymore of our tears, they need actual protection from their oppressors.

Prayer is power but is more powerful with solidarity in boycotting everyone and any organization funding wars against the innocent. You’re so lucky to be in the safety of your room..just scrolling. You can log out but the monstrosity you’re witnessing through a screen is a reality for millions. Stop individualizing your life…you’re not in separation..we share the same Earth..you’re being impacted too. No one should have the power to obliterate anyone’s existence because they don’t agree with their belief system. So many people are dying for the freedom you have so use your life to advocate for theirs. Written by Areli Soleil.
