I know technically Yusaku's obsession with calming himself down by listing things in threes is because of his backstory, but also. Come on. No neurotypical would talk like this while trying to call an ambulance. When he first did it, I started happy stimming so hard. A MAIN CHARACTER! WITH ARITHMOMANIA!!!

His facial animation is stunning. I was so impressed by how far 5Ds got with having a character with limited expressiveness, and VRAINS just keeps raising the bar for me. Animated characters who don't smile/emote very much but still have unique facial animation while still having a Resting B#$% Face my BELOVED

ngl i'm not super drawn to any of the minor characters... i love the entire main cast sooo much and that's where all my love has gone!!

but... perhaps the stylish person who mirabelle thinks is scary? i have the autism resting bitch face, and i'm naturally shy and anxious, and my solution to both was to start dressing unique-and-sexy enough that i come off as intimidatingly cool instead of just shy or annoyed. so i was like bitch me too, heehee.

4- favorite memory?

memory of sadness, hands down!! it's my favorite character-wise, mechanic-wise, and ludonarrative-harmony-wise.

the tutorial event is SO COOL, i was both entirely sure that something like that would happen eventually and totally surprised by it. i'm pretty sure it was the first time i saw siffrin auto-loop, which was so chilling!

i was starting to get sick of manually avoiding and running away from sadnesses, so it was a mechanical life-saver too, delivered in the best possible way. ofc this is something they specifically, accidentally, learned how to do, and will always remember how to keep doing!

at one point late in the game i accidentally got into a fight and thought to myself, "agh siffrin should be so scary at this point that the enemies just run away!!" and then remembered that that was literally what was happening, the enemy and i had just dodged in the same direction as one does in narrow hallways, lmao.

and as i mentioned before, i have major RBF - nearly every time i meet one of my wife's friends irl for the first time, as soon as i leave the room the friend goes "uh did i do something to piss silver off? do they hate me??" so it's funny to me that siffrin is even scarier. i hc that post-canon, siffrin accidentally keeps defaulting to stalking around like a serial killer whenever he's not actively interacting with anyone. whoopsie!

Do u have any close-to-how-I-imagine-Sirius face claims? Or maybe just the ~vibes~. Our boy was so handsome I've actually never found a fc close to how I see him

see, this is a tough question bc i absolutely don’t see faces when i talk about/imagine fictional character. i usually just go off of traits/vibes/behaviours/specific features. i know there’s a few east asian fan casts for the black brothers floating around that are pretty good, but i can’t narrow it down to one definitive face.

i can give u a few things i think of when i picture sirius, though.

physical perfection. straight nose, high cheekbones, excellent bone structure etc etc.

he’s exceptionally pretty and there’s no other word for it. i know rugged sirius black is a thirst trap for a reason but i rly like the ethereal, untouchable beauty version. he has long eyelashes and wonderful hair and he’s built all delicate and stuff. (one reason i rly like this is the juxtaposition b/w the first impression of his looks & how much power & strength he has in him. also,,,,the contrast b/w him and james is *chefs kiss*)

he tans rly badly, like tomato red, so he just prefers staying out of the sun altogether unless he’s protected by a shitload of cosmetic charms. the tattoos give him more of an excuse to do so.

he has beautiful long, thin fingers—perfect for piano playing and other things. james is obsessed & can never stop playing w them. they’re constantly adorned with rings.

speaking of rings, i feel like he’d be a jewellery type of a person. constantly changing his piercings. wearing chains & rings & bracelets. always having an anklet of some sort on.

he loves experimenting w hairstyles but lets v v few people touch his hair (james & effie, and alter james sirius. harry ofc gets a pass even if sirius doesn’t exactly like it bc it’s harry) it’s not uncommon to see him w braided hair, fancy buns, experimental cute & colors and stuff

he has an a+ resting bitch face. there’s a reason the majority of hogwarts is intimidated by him. he isn’t very expressive, def not at first and even after he becomes more comfortable feeling emotions, he still tends towards neutral/cold expressions.

ultimately, the vibe i get from him is like,,,something bella hadid has, maybe? ykno all those Model™️ pix of her where she’s not smiling and has a straight face & an intense gaze and u just feel rly unworthy? that.

Yesss! Macha's actually royalty (the Vampire Queen) in the save so bestie, anything goes with her. She actually had Vlad killed cause of something he said to her, cause why not (somebody's gotta be an example). She's not really into killing though. Macha leaves all of that to her hubby.

Really high actually. She grew up being pushed around by her negligent dad and eventually her step-mom so she's been through it . There was even a point where she scarred herself to get out of a marriage (and she did it with out even flinching). Aside from her sucky family she trained her body to withstand pain, you know, just incase she gotta fight somebody

Suzy's vibe is somewhat similar to a character in a currently airing animu I've been enjoying. She's aloof, and puts on a pessimistic and judgmental air but ends up attracting people around her for one reason or another. In Suzy's case, it's because she has a consistent reliability and a penchant for honesty with people, stranger or otherwise. It ends with her butting heads with people, but her strength in character can be seen as pretty admirable.

Because of this, while she doesn't go out seeking friendships there is a small cluster of people that have gathered or otherwise interact with her on a consistent basis. Suzy has good opinions of them, but hesitates to boast of friendship (you can guess how it goes on the other end).

Suzy is the same age as Iris and the other girls in the AI verse, but goes to different schools. If they met it would be through Boss or some other curious interaction. I feel like a lot of them (outside Amame) would probably be too much for her. Iris and Kizuna especially. Of course. Her own 'friend' group is also high energy. Alas...

...as for how things developed post the loss of her family, she was pretty young then (I think we talked about it being... 6 years prior to AI1, so she'd be 12?) so there wasn't much of a 'life' to uproot, but what does need to be mentioned was how things were different. She was the daughter of politicians. So she goes from living a high life of wealth to something a lot more humble. It's weird for her to adapt to, but it has a lot she didn't before.

She prefers meeting the people she does at her new schools than she does from before. Mixed bag. She does go through a bullied phase, but it's where her character starts to really take shape standing up for herself and putting others in their place. Eira would be proud.
