Jason Todd’s death storyline was perfectly executed because they killed him figuratively (killed his innocence) before actually killing him. It’s a tragedy because he died in two separate ways. And the reason his resurrection is just as much a tragedy is because only one of the things killed can be brought back and it wasn’t the thing that made Jason who he is (his innocence and kindness).

Three reasons why the RH cowboys all wear chains with something of their city girl's (rings/a pendant of hers/ect) around their necks, always clearly visible, especially after she caught a tramp trying to steal poor Hals hat.

Being so far away from Ari, Bucky, Hal & Steve hadn’t been a great stressor upon your relationship until Becca had told you that there were a few local girls trying to slide into their beds.

She assured you that they had all repeatedly refuted their attempts and were stalwart about their unavailability. They were proud and bold about their status with you but given your location a distance away, the local girls weren’t always so receiving of their status. A great number of them had still tried to push to sleep with them, to take them off your hands since it seemed like you weren’t capable of taking care of them.

Those instances had led to three reasons why they always had something of yours around their necks.

Reason one, had been after one drunken cowgirl had blatantly called Steve a liar to his face about you. The drunken women had almost entirely crawled into his lap before she saw a woman’s ring around his neck with your name carved upon the band.

Reason two, happened after Ari had been cornered at the rodeo by a barrel racer that tried to get handsy with his belt buckle. Ari had been frank when he pushed her away and showed her a picture of you that he always kept on his persons.

Reason three came when you had come for a visit. Hal hadn’t been expecting you, and was in the middle of trying to get his hat back from a local girl. He was reaching for the hat when it was yanked from her hands and put on your own head.

“It belongs to me. So does Hal.” You proceeded to push Hal down to sit and sat on his lap, greeting him with a possessive and heated kiss.

“Hi, I’m City Girl. I think you’ve been trying to fuck my boyfriends while I was gone.”

Three reasons why they had something of yours with them at all times, including your own body.

The RH Plus finale was super dramatic but Ageha's shirt was really distracting.

stuff I got recently! the Hatchimals were 3 for $1 so I couldn't resist, custard was only $5 and I've always loved her, plus a caboodle! I figured it would be a good place to store RH stuff but underestimated how much RH stuff I have lmao. at least it stores the shoes and other accessories!

What if Jason learned all about Tim's disguise Jane Doe, what he did as Jane, the fact civilians knew and rogues knew Jane was Robin before the Bats, and the rumors flying asking where the Robin went, certain he died?

plus just why he was so precious to Gotham?

And fucking flipped?

Next thing Gotham knows, Red Hood is channelling his inner 'Batman post-Jason's death' by going ballistic on the new Batman (Dick) and cutting all ties with the Bats as a whole

His guilt definitely fuels it as well, he's reaching out to the younger Bats as much as possible to ask if they need help for anything like getting out of the Bat lifestyle of if they're unsafe

Something he wishes he could've done for Tim

He's channeling some of his guilt and rage into bettering his territory in other ways, sure, but there's still a lot of blood spilling going on

Unlike Batman though, Red Hood still (mostly) holds back against anybody who isn't complete and utter scum who has it coming

All of this goes on during BruceQuest alongside the other madness in Gotham

When Tim comes back and Gotham breathes a sigh of relief because their Robin is alive and well?

Jason's is going Full Overprotective Big Brother, much to Tim's annoyance

Doesn't help that the kid is down a spleen

If Gotham thought Red Hood's Wrath was bad before he had Red Robin safe and sound in his nest most secure safehouse in Crime Alley?

They've seen nothing compared to what's coming

What do Gotham's Rogues and civilians, people out of Gotham, The JL, YJ, Batfam individually and Tim most of all think of Jason's Rage-Guilt fueled redemption arc of sorts? Idk, my brains melting

Hell what does Tim think, going from, "I've lost everything but I got Batman back!" To being abducted by Red Hood and smothered with mother henning?

"This is Red Hood, who I'm pretty sure is a demon from actual hell trying to redeem himself, and this is his emotion support victim Red Robin, who gets mother hen'd and doted on to hell and back" —random Gothamite

Ooh? Jason becoming a full mother hen to Tim after this incident is hilarious and adorable. I also imagine, after everything that happened during the BruceQuest, Tim is a feral little bastard with extreme trust issues. He only trusts those that Jane trusts.

So, Red Hood is trying his hardest to domesticate Tim, feed him, and make sure he's protected/has support. While doing this, RH is also turning the streets bloody in an attempt to make them safer. Basically, pure chaos as their conflicting personalities mesh.

I'd also like a cute scene where Jason starts using all pronouns for Tim since they seem comfortable with that. Jason checks Tim's reactions to ensure that's okay while Tim is pleasantly surprised.

Red Hood: Right, of course, because he's dating you.

Tim: No, you don't understand it's not...

Goon 1: Hey Boss...

Red Hood: Yeah Vince?

Goon 1: does our PTO accumulate?

RH:...You get 25 days a year, plus public holidays and a day per year up to five for loyalty?

Goon 1: Okay cool, because our hostage is trying to negotiate better working conditions.

RH: ...is the hostage blond, has piercings and not afraid for his own wellbeing?

Goon 1: ...Yes?

Goon 2: he's drafted a contract!

RH: Tim, I love your boyfriend. He has priorities. But he's at risk of starting an underworld socialist mutiny.

Tim: He's amazing isn't he?
