shiro: BLUE <3 the thing i love about shiro is that he's been through soooo fucking much but he's come out the other end still upright and ready to fight and be supportive and loving and goofy and protect the universe even though he's sooo so tired and sooo so scared. he's the EMBODIMENT of hope it drives me fucking insane <3 so yeah blue was the first color i thought of for him and i have yet to change my mind on that one

keith: he started out red (especially as a younger teen like.....kid was abandoned by his mother, dad died, lived in the system for years, of COURSE he was angry as fuck) but the thing abt red lanterns is that they can only remove their rings (and let go of the rage...) with the help of a blue lantern........shiro helps him move past the rage and trauma.........and yeah. I'm also a green lantern keith truther because by GOD is he tenacious as fuck.

lance: i also had a pretty hard time pinning him down, and im still thinking about him so idk if this is set in stone yet, BUT he's giving white lantern vibes. ngl. AND hunk is always the most visibly afraid of the group so idk idk. something something fear is an old friend to him and he's even mastered it...

allura: STAR SAPPHIRE. again, the star sapphire corps are kinda. fucked up. BUT since we're going the route of just looking at the ring itself with indigo, we'll do the same for violet/pink <3 allura's entire CHARACTER is about love....her father, her people, her planet, her culture.....grief is love and love is grief.......she fights because she lost all the things she loved and because she found a new family to love and protect.....et cetera......... hi!! so since im not active 24/7 anymore i feel like u missed a lot so little update!!

Having finished dawntrail, I wanted to write down some of my eclectic thoughts on it

- I love wuk Lamat. I love her journey over the story to learn about her people to better serve them. I love the "the absence of war is not peace". She was a phenomenal protagonist that we passed down the mantle of hear feel think to. She is incredibly darling to me and I would hold her hand on a dirigible to ease her nerves any day 10/10

- this game does not have a great track record of letting primary female characters be anything but white, petite (I'll never forgive them for white midlander lyse) and conventionally pretty in a feminine way, so I find Lamatyi sooo refreshing in that way. That makes the hate against her all the more enraging

- I love erenville. Why does his mom have an american accent

- I hated the mamook arc. They did not give eugenics and forced breeding the time and energy it deserved. Dead babies (stillborn) is maybe not the main take away you know? I liked the concept of "maybe some cultures do fucked up things, but instead of just grimacing at them in judgment we should understand the variables which drove them to that" but it fell short for me

- bakool Ja ja 180d too quickly, it felt so rushed and undeserved

- his dad sucked we gotta stop redeeming shitty abusive dads

- I have extremely mixed feelings on sphene. I hate her physical design. I'm so tired of 16 yr old looking uncanny cutesy child women (I love u metieon but I don't love ur design). I found her SUPER GENTLE LOVING PERFECT EMBODIMENT OF FEMININE AUTHORITY tiring and uninspired. I liked that she was a fucked up robot though. But also like, when she's like "I gotta tell you guys something... Actually jk" was that meant to imply she doesn't want genocide deep down actually and just big brother is watching?? I was confused by that and kinda hope that's not the case bc her being convinced of her path is so much more compelling. I'm scared Abt them showing her crown with the ending credits... Pls don't bring her back

- Zoraal ja resolution was good. His son was weird (who is ur mom?????) but it felt like a Chekhov's gun so they could have control of Alexandria feasibly fall to someone on the Good Side at the end. I kinda wish they made gulool ja ja more morally grey, he was a little too perfect wise king for me idk

- Alexandria's fucked up soul culture is so interesting. I laughed so hard when they said THE CLOUD.

Back in elementary, it’s required for u to wear a ponytail or headband😭… It was something that bothers me a LOT so I got it removed at 6th grade as a graduation gift. I waited so long for this moment to happen since I finally had the chance to wear a ponytail without worrying too much

˙˚˙ Are you currently writing a book? Yes! I’ll publish my book after I revise the last chapter. Since ur a special follower, u can get a sneak peak with the title :D I’m still making sum few changes abt it but I already have thought of a draft— “I Am An Introvert So Don’t Mess With Me.” This title kinda sounds a little off but I’ll try working on it. Introverts nowadays are determined to be “weak” cause many of us believe that if you’re alone, you have no role in society. ˙˚˙ What makes a person a “friend?” umm.. I have my own opinion about this. To whoever’s reading this, I hope you don’t get offended in any way. SOOO before I answer this question, let me tell you a story ;-; There’s this one girl who I considered as my friend but I felt like she only saw me as a friend of convenience— which means pretending to be someone’s friend in order to use them for your purposes. She messages me whenever she needs to rant about her so called “Ex” which is one of my friends too. As her “friend,” I mean acquaintance rather… I did what is right— told her to cut him off. After months of being her acquaintance, she suddenly treated me like TRASHHHH. I know she was bullied by sum mean girls during highschool but now she became the mean girl towards me lmaooo.. This generation kinda sucks for me since many people are trying their best just to fit in, no offense. I think you can only consider someone a friend if they’re genuine and consistent.

I’m not used to be so extrovert-ish ;-; Though I may be a good listener, there are times that I just want to be on my own bubble. ˚˙ If you’re an introvert, why are you so active when it comes to acads/reporting? OKAY.. so there’s a huge difference between being shy and being an introvert. Most of us are confused between the terms but for me, an introvert can be vocal if they want to. I have two separate lives: school life and personal life. I am a different person when it comes on both sides. There are various types of introverts and I consider myself as a confident one 🤓. Because of continous reading and binge-watching stories, I’ve adapted many personal skills that made me successful in my overall academics. For example, my love for watching MSA videos allowed me to have a skill of public speaking. Personally, I am not a fan of talking in a crowd full of people but because of the inspiring stories, I am here today :DD BUT TO BE HONEST, I still have that anxiety inside of me whenever I try to speak in front 😭. and he really did try to be that way as he talked with you but it was very difficult at the moment

the dumbfounded and confused look on your face his face twitch with annoyance and his heart started beating faster bc god you were cute

The two of you stood in the middle of the unusually empty hallway facing each other, you with the bouquet still in hand. It was quiet as you and Chuuya assessed the situation.

You looked at him skeptically and he stared right back you with his gorgeous blue eyes.

“...So you do like me Chuuya-san??”

“Yes”

“And you were trying to court me just now, not friend zone me??”

“Yes”

You got most of your questions out of the way, but there was something that you’ve been wondering about for quite a while.

“...So you’re not gay for Dazai-san??”

“Yes, im not wait—GAY FOR DAZAI?? THAT MACKEREL??”

Chuuya did a double take. What in heavens name made it seem like he liked that suicidal maniac?? Why would he choose him if he had you?

Like he would choose him anyways; or ever consider him as a possible romantic partner.

“Oh, so you are?”

“NO! I SAID I LIKED YOU DIDN’T I?”

“Well yeah, but I thought you liked Dazai-san too. As annoying as he is, he can be quite charming—”

He was out of patience at this point (nope definitely not because you were talking about Dazai who told you that?) and just decided to kiss you.

You immediately melted into the kiss and kissed him back with the same amount of love and feeling.

Letting the bouquet fall to the ground, you wrapped you arms around his neck and his put his on your lower back and brought you closer to him. After a few more moments, the two of you broke apart for air.

The two of you, slightly out of breath, leaned your foreheads against each other and just basked in each others presence.

Chuuya looked into your (e/c) eyes and asked you just a little bit above a whisper, “Now do you get my intentions and feeling?”

You blinked at him before breaking out into a grin, “Hmm I’m not sure; do you wanna do that again Chuuya?”

The red head only blinked back at you before rolling his eyes, a smile present on his handsome features, his heart fluttering at you using his name with the honorific.

“Dumbass”

Smiling cheekily at him, you pressed a kiss on his cheek and started dragging him towards the lobby to take a walk around the building perimeter, knowing that the two of you can’t be too far from work.

The way down to the lobby was mostly in comfortable silence until you said something that made Chuuya want to bash his head against the wall.

“You know, you could’ve just told me you liked me Chuuya. It’s not like I would’ve said no.”

Once again, as the rest of the more power mafia members watch from security cameras, it is hard to tell whether Tachihara is crying or wheezing of laughter.

The two of you just started making your way around the building when suddenly a very familiar voice came from Chuuya’s prized hat.

“Chuuyaaaa!! It was about time you stopped being a chicken, Chibi!”

Removing his hat from his head, he started yelling at it not knowing exactly where the listening device was planted.

“TEME! HOW DID YOU—”

“And (y/n)! I would congratulate you, but I think I would rather offer you my condolences. Why him?! He’s just a slimy slug. OOH OOH how would you like to join me in a double suicide?! A shame it won’t be a lover’s suicide but it’ll annoy Chuuya so I think it’ll be worth it! ”

“YOU—”

“And please don’t kiss while I’m listening in. You made me lose my appetite! And it was such a shame! I was eating crab using Kunikida-kun’s money! Do you know what you’ve cost me?!”

“DAZAI YOU PIECE OF—”

“Ah! Kunikida-kun is here! I have to go!”

You can hear something is the background that vaguely sounds like, “DAZAI YOU WASTE OF BANDAGES STOP USING MY MONEY”

The click sound from the hat revealed that Dazai disconnected.

Chuuya twitched and glared furiously at his signature hat hating that the voice he hated the most came out of it.

“Aww, I didn’t get to talk to Dazai-san”

Chuuya whipped his head towards you, a look of mock (or real) betrayal showing on his features.

You laughed at him before taking the hat out of his hands and placing it on his head.

He shyly looked away before muttering a thanks making you smile wider. Just as the two of you were about to start walking, a small explosion erupted from his hat; it was likely that Dazai made the listening device self destruct.

“DAZAI YOU BASTARDD”

At the Armed Detective Agency, a certain suicidal maniac hid from the wrath of his current partner as he thought about the wrath his old one.

Request: Sooo this is platonic relationship of reader and yelena (like sisters) and this is a long one😭 After Nat's death you (also) visit her grave daily, then one day you heard a whistle (which is Yelena but you didn't know her yet) before approaching Nat's tomb and u thought it's just a bird so u responded since you always do that to make Nat smile when she whistles at the compound (and maybe they talk abt how kind nat was but they still both don't know that r is in a relationship with nat and yelena is like a sister to natasha )...and Yelena gave you a ride and played Bye Bye Miss American Pie and r just started crying silently and told her how Nat used to play it on their car rides and how often Natasha talks abt how her little sister (which is again Yelena) loves the song and that's when she realized that it was yelena (maybe yelena also talks abt how nat smiles when she mentions ur name during their time saving the widows)

Summary: You meet Yelena at Natasha's grave.

A/n: I cried while writing this so thank you anon for your beautiful request. I hope I did it justice because I love the idea so much but honestly I was really tired when I wrote this so I'm just praying that it's not complete trash. I hope you all enjoy and I promise there will be soft!nat fluff soon to make up for this.

You nod to the driver as you get off the bus at the last stop and begin your daily walk along the gravel road. It would be easier to drive but it doesn’t feel right. Natasha always hated driving places and avoided it if she could. She liked the anonymous feeling that came with blending into crowds of civilians and not being recognized. You never understood why until she was gone and this was the only way you could avoid the serious talks about seeing a therapist and the pitying looks. The only thing you can never avoid is your grief and the guilt at her death even though you know it’s not her fault and she would never want you to blame yourself.

Emotions are weakness. Natasha had taught you that in the beginning and stuck to it until you convinced her to break her own rule and start a relationship. You can see now that she was right because in the end your relationship with her has weakened you to the point where you don’t know how you could possibly move on. But as with everything Natasha made emotions her strength. Her sacrifice for the lives of half the universe came from her love for everyone she has ever considered family.

As you get close to the patch of grass where her grave is you hear a whistle, the whistle Natasha always used to use. You don’t even think about it, you automatically respond and watch as a woman that looks to be around your age stands up from a crouching position at the side of Natasha’s grave and stares at you. You don’t know who she is or why she’s here but you’re immediately at ease around her. She has added to the flowers you left on Natasha’s grave and she knew her whistle so you know she means no harm. And not just anyone could find this place, you made sure of that.

“You brought her favourites.” you say to the woman.

“What?”

“The flowers,” you tell her, “they were her favourites.”

“Yes.”

Perhaps the silence after the woman’s answer should be awkward but it’s not. It feels natural as your eyes both turn towards the grave taking in the only memorial for the hero. You hate how her name got erased in how everybody was brought back. Tony deserved to be known as a hero and you miss him too but everybody focused on him and forgot about the fact that without Natasha they never would have accomplished anything. She was the only reason the avengers didn’t fall apart after the blip and the world forgot. But you know that this is the way Natasha would have liked it and for that reason alone you will never publicly correct anyone who forgets to give her the credit she deserves.

“Thank you for taking care of her grave.”

“Of course. I visit every day.”

“This is my first time,” the woman admits, “it took me a while to figure out that she died and it took even longer to find out where she was buried.”

“I didn’t know she died at first either. I was so confused as to what happened and why I was back and then so excited to see her but she was gone.” you tell the woman. You don’t know why you feel compelled to talk to her but you feel like she is someone you can share this with.

“I never got to say a proper goodbye.”

“Neither did I.”

You watch as a single tear drips down the woman’s face and she sniffles and brushes it away. She is much stronger than you the first time you came. It depends on the day now, whether you cry or not but the first time you visited you collapsed on the ground in front of the headstone sobbing and didn’t leave until it was already dark. But perhaps the woman had been here for longer than you assumed and had already gotten that out of the way.

“Do you want a ride?” she asks suddenly after she recomposes herself.

“What?”

“You can say no, but I don’t see your car anywhere.”

“I didn’t bring one.” you say. “I’m going back to the city, is that where you’re going?”

She shrugs. “I don’t know where I’m going. So yes I might as well if you are going to take me up on my offer.”

You think for a moment. On one hand you probably should not get in the car with a stranger who’s name you don’t even know. But on the other you have a gut feeling you can trust her and Natasha would trust her too. So adding in the fact that your will to live isn’t exactly super high right now you decide it should be fine.

“Sure.”

She nods in acknowledgement of your agreement and you both turn back towards Natasha’s grave for a moment, saying a silent goodbye before making your way over to her car. You like how quiet she is and how she doesn’t disturb your peace. She continues to stay silent as she starts to drive but you notice her hands fumbling with a cd as she slides it into the player. Even as the first notes of the song start you feel tears well up in your eyes. By the time you get to the chorus tears are pouring down your cheeks. Choking over the words you start to sing softly and the woman joins in.

“So bye-bye, Miss American Pie

Drove my Chevy to the levee, but the levee was dry

And them good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye

Singin' "This'll be the day that I die

This'll be the day that I die"

You both continue crying and singing softly until the end of the song. Swiping the tears away as it ends. The lump in your throat lasts a minute as you try to speak and break the silence that has now become too much.

“She used to sing that to me all the time,” you tell women, “said it reminded her of her sister.”

As you say the words ‘her sister’ it’s like a light flips on in your brain and you take a moment to carefully study the woman beside you. Her hair is blonde and her features are soft but most importantly she bears a striking resemblance to the one photo Natasha had of her sister from when they were kids.

“You’re her sister.”

“Yes.” Yelena responds. “And you are Y/n?”

“I am.”

Yelena sniffles as she gives a slight chuckle. “She wouldn’t stop talking about you the last time I saw her. It was annoying and I told her to shut up but she wouldn’t. She loved you so much.”

You feel a new batch of tears spring to your eyes but you force yourself to blink them away. “She talked about you all the time too. She never forgave herself for what happened to you but you should have seen how happy she was to have found you again.”

“I wish she was here to see us again. Do you think she knows that we won? That everyone came back?”

You shake your head. “I wish I knew the answer to that but I don’t, I think about it every day. I like to think she does. But when she died she had no idea.”

“Why did it have to be her?”

“It didn’t.”

“I know and I hate that.”

You and Yelena sit in silence at your answer because it is the truth. You have thought about it over and over but in no scenario did Natasha come out alive simply because she cared too much to let another person die.

Yelena continues to drive and the trees and grass turn into subdivisions which turn into neighbourhoods which turn into highrises and still neither of you speak. There is nothing much left to say.

“You can drop me off here.” you tell her as you get close to your shitty apartment building. You don’t feel like being dropped off directly there, you need a moment to walk and cool off.

“Okay.”

She pulls off onto a side street and you clamber out. You both look at each other awkwardly.

“Don’t be a stranger.” you tell her.

“I won’t.”

“You can come over now if you want.”

“No thank you, I will but I need…” she trails off and you’re relieved at her answer because you also need time to process.

“I get it and you know where to find me when you’re ready.”

“I will.” she says, then pauses like she’s going to stop speaking before continuing. “I think Natasha would be glad that we have met.”

The lump in your throat returns. “I think so too. Take care Yelena.”

“You too Y/n.”

You both give each other one last nod before Yelena drives off. You stand in place and watch her go, lost in thought. You never expected to see her and it was a pleasant but emotional surprise. You almost dread talking to her again because the more you know about Natasha the more you miss her. But she is the only one who can truly understand you. Even Clint can’t because although he misses Natasha he has his family whereas you are alone. You can never move on from her and you don’t want to and you think Yelena can understand that. She’s right, Natasha would be happy you met.

it's set in a futuristic world where there's More Planets That People Live On. also aliens. and they use the Cyrillic alphabet (or perhaps a futuristic adaptation) because Worldbuilding and I Say So

the main one right now is gonna follow Cordelia Sebastian Beatrice, Crown Princess of the country of Numin on the planet uhhh name pending but potentially Portani??

and I have VERY little notion about the plot but at one point an annoying prince shows up for Diplomacy and he's the fourth son of like six kids so he just does whatever and annoys her to death bc she is Responsible. All Business. BUT she loves her family!! and loosens up around them!! she's got a younger brother and an even younger sister, and then her parents. and she's got a few friends too, like a cousin and older lady in the court (every girl needs an older bestie it's Contractual)

and then?? I think there will be Threats so she has to leave and she goes to the research center at Portani's North Pole that monitors air quality and there she meets her three roommates and she's got herself a whole room full of besties. but she also finds her BEST bestie who is a lovely lovely lady named Jane Prescott but who goes by Prescott (friends call her Scott) (best friends–and Cordelia–call her Scottie). editing to add that this base was inspired/based off of one of the maps in Among Us, just looked it up it was the Polus map. I'm gonna definitely work on it so I'm not plagiarizing (one of my biggest fears tbh 😭) but yea I love that map sooo much it gave me Much To Think About

the general overarching space opera has already absorbed a sci-fi wip called Runners. that one follows a ship full of teenagers led by a single tired early-ish adult (autocorrect hates me and my fun and sexy way of speaking) and they're tracking down the Devourer (which they mockingly call the Waddler) which is. a mouth with eyes and legs. that goes around space eating stuff. this sounds weirder when I type it but it was a fun sorta collab with some friends when we were bored in school so I'm keeping it for now

and then later wips will expand to other planets and other Shenanigans and I'm very much looking forward to it

cackling canonneer. heoeheoeho funny cool lesbian aunt. theyre v loud and high energy all th time like if they had a computer and typed she would always type in all-caps. also she has super sharp teeth idk i think it's just fitting for their evil laugh huahuahau. i dont think theyre actually evil theyre v nice!! very enthusiastic. they were actually demoted from the role of "cannoneer" bc she had abyss guide put her in a canon and shoot her into the sky + they hit a wall and that's how their mask is cracked but they think it was the most awesome stunt theyve ever done anyway. she keeps the cannoneer title though bc they like it <3

anxious angler WAUAUUGH my beloved. i think they are friends with everyone but especially they are bestfriends with cannoneer bc they get scared of things really easily and cannoneer scares away dangerous things for them + their cheerfulness is infectious and can distract angler from their worries. them and cannoneer braid each others hair for funsies. also angler is aroace. as their name implies they get anxious really easily but they think the sea and being in a boat is soothing, especially the rocking of a boat and the sound of waves n such. they feel sympathy for krill but are still deathly afraid of them so they try to keep their distance!!

THE OLD MEN. commodore and boatswain huehehehe. they are married they hav been married for so long. commodore fought some kind of bigass creature and turned its jawbone into that sick sword (or maybe they scavenged it that's probably more likely. but i like to think they were a real fighter in their younger days and mellowed out as they got older). they r abyss guide's dads ofc ofc. cannoneer is commodore's sibling and bothered him until they let them on the treasure hunting field trip bc they're a former soldier and r super enthused by the prospect of finding the old remains of Big Cool Weapons.

i dont have many thoughts abt boatswain though but i think theyre a cool guy. they r probably slightly grumpier than commodore but still pretty chill and personable i think :) needs bandages n shit all the time bc he wont stop bumping into things, idk maybe he just has bad coordination yaknow

abyss guide!!! every day is bring your kid to work day!!! theyre straight up just having a good time helping their family scavenge things, they love looking at the creatures and keep trying to touch the fish but they swim away before they can reach them (the only fish they manage to touch are the ones angler catches). all the spirits love abyss guide so fucking much !!! they like talking to sky kids bc theyre a creature enthusiast and sky kids get to interact w the critters more and they want to know what it's like to be friends with a manta (they really want a manta friend). they keep having to be stopped from walking up to the krills and petting them. they ride around on either of their dads shoulders sometimes for fun or when they're too tired to walk. they like looking for neat little shiny things on the shore, finding cool rocks and shells and collecting them <3

Kasumi: goddddd starting off with one of the big ones..... She's just so. Yeah. Y'know I remember seeing someone say that she was very easy to read as a character with depression, and tbh I didn't believe them at the time, but after reading through more bandori stories and poppin'party song lyrics, I soooo get it now. Tbh, she might be one of the bandori characters I can relate to the most, and I find a LOT of comfort in her. I also love how much of a flirt she can be, it's very funny.

Arisa: I loooove how much she clearly loves her friends and just..... How they've clearly improved her life so so much and she definitely knows it at least to some degree. I also love her dynamic with nearly every character she interacts with, and she's also just very funny all around

Saya: welp time to go back to my "I have depression and am tired of only getting like 2 flavors of depressed characters in media" chair. Saya is another character that I can deeply relate to, and I think shes genuinely one of the best written bandori characters I love her sm. Also, as I have said with all characters before and all characters since, she is soooo funny strong contender for funniest bandori character imo honestly Saya's sooo underated from a comedy perspective vmfndjfmd

Tae: yes. I like you. What a wonderful silly guy. Tae was actually my original favorite poppin'party member, and tbh for the first lil while she was the only one of their band I was even slightly interested in dndbdjcnshf. I looooove her design a LOT and she also has some of my favorite outfits of the cast, and also again, hee hoo funny

Rimi: I mean, she's ok I guess. Her design is nice, and she's nice I guess, but idk she doesn't rly stand out amongst the crowd. Where's she on my favorites list again? Wait. What do you mean she's my 3rd favorite????? How did this happen?!?!?!?! Ok but in all seriousness though I literally cannot think of a way to properly get across how much I love Rimi. She's like my #1 kin of all time and also just. Idk I literally cannot think of a single thing to say abt her but you have to trust me she's perfect and amazing and I love her.

Ran: ah yes, Ran, my poor little meow meow, the most pathetic wet cat in bandori. I love Ran oh so dearly, I will bully them relentlessly but also I do genuinely find so much comfort in them, they're one of The comfort characters to me. Specifically in relation to my autistic Ran hcs, it's like 65% projection and the only reason it isn't 100% is because I refrained from also giving them my adhd fndjdnsjrnd

Tsugumi: mannnnnn Tsugumi. Tsugumi. Sure is one of the characters ever /pos. I have SO many Tsugumi thoughts, again mostly projection, but also I just. Rly like Tsugumi in general. I think what rly appeals to me abt them is that I can relate to a lot of their feelings of inadequacy, and I can't help but slip and project onto them a lot.

Tomoe: ah yes, one of the first bandori characters outside of Kaoru to get me deeply invested in them. I don't talk abt Tomoe as much as I should tbh, I rly do love her a LOT and she's probably a good 20% of the reason bandori stuck with my like it did. I LOVE her design, and also I just rly like her personality in general. I love how much she tries to look out for the people around her while not always being good at it, and I think I desperately want those glimpses of anxiety from afterglow bs2 to be explored more, which reminds me I should REALLY get to reading afterglow bs3 soon I'll do that at some point

Moca: yeah I guess I like Moca a lil bit. Just a tiny bit. It's only my number one favorite character of all time, no big deal. Anyways, Moca makes my brain feel like a can of bees, it just. Fuck man Moca is so good. Probably one of the best written characters in bandori in my opinion, and just. Man does a lot of Moca's issues hit rly close to home for me. I love pretty much everything abt Moca, but I will never get over Moca's arc, especially the aspects of it abt Moca actually deciding to try and work through its self loathing issues, I think that is probably what hit me the hardest.

Himari: yknow, Himari actually used to be one of the bandori characters I cared abt the least, but she's REALLY grown on me over the past few months. Like she'd probably be the character that grew on me the most since my first impression of them if it weren't for Rimi dnrjfmdgfh. She's another one I have a hard time wording exactly why I like them sm, but I think a big part of it is that she's soooo fun to analyse once you start to dig more into her character. I honestly doubt she was meant to be analysed this heavily, but that will not stop me from wanting to study her under a microscope. Also, my sibling loves her and I associate her with him a lot so that also gives her points

Aya: ah yes, the og poor little meow meow. Aya was the first pastel*palletes member I got rly attached to, and then I though of he/him lesbian Aya hc, and then I started thinking way too hard abt him in general fndirndg. I love how pathetic and sad he is, and I also just. LOVE how he interacts with every one of his bandmates, both from a character dynamic perspective and from a narrative one. Also, he's stupid and I love him

Eve: Eve Eve Eve Eve Eve Eeeeeeeve. I have many thoughts abt her. She's another one that took me a LONG time to rly get attached to, but man. She's got her hooks in my brain now and I will never stop being pissy by how underutilized she is by both the writers and the fandom fmdbdjfndu. Like don't get me wrong, she's not never utilized, but I think it's fair to say that on the whole she's one of the characters the writers take the least seriously. But back to being positive, I REALLY love how she's just. Such a good foil to Chisato specifically, and I also just love how despite having been burned by the flames of the spotlight before, she still pushes for things to be better, because even if it seems unrealistic, if things could be better then it's worth it to at least try. I've been thinking abt her a lot lately if you couldn't tell fmfkfndjd

Maya: she is simply sooooo autistic and transfem like y'all have no idea. It's honestly amazing how easy it is to read her stories with a trans lense, and I just generally rly like her writing, with like some minor complaints but that's not what this post is abt djdnsjrneg. Also!!! I love her casual wear designs SO much!!!!! She looks so cool and pretty and I just love her design sooooo much. Also I think she and Eve should hold hands

Hina: you. You. YOU. This little fucker makes me feel SO many emotions she is just sooooo autistic and her writing is just. SOOOO good. I can and will talk for soooo long abt her story, just. Man. As a person with both autism and adhd who was often hated or infantised amongst it's friend groups over the years, I can relate to Hina's issues soooo much and her story means so so much to me because of that. Her dynamic with her bandmates is just everything to me, and she also just parallels the others so well, and god pastel*palletes is just so good as a whole

Chisato: why hello there second favorite bandori character. I sure have written a few character analysis things abt you. And by a few I mean a lot. Just..... Man Chisato is genuinely soooo interesting and they might honestly be the most complex character in bandori writing wise. Like even beyond their more obvious complexities, there's a surprising amount of other subtler details of their writing that manages to stay consistent and make a lot of sense with their character. If you've followed me for a decent amount of time you've probably seen at least one of my Chisato character analysis posts, so I don't think I need to go on too long fnfndjrnf

Yukina: shakes her violently /pos. Yukina is another character that I only rly started high key adoring more recently, but I've always liked her quite a lot. She is the second of the poor little meow meow trio among my top ten, and she's just. Such a funny pathetic little guy who I adore. I wish I had more to say abt her, but idk what else to say she's just my poor little meow meow

Rinko: Im sooooo sorry Rinko honey I like never talk abt you but mannnn your design and voice are both soooo pretty and also you have some of the best cards.... Also I personally think she has some of the best dynamics with characters outside of her band of the bunch, and I can't help but be surprised by just how versatile of a character she ended up being. I honestly initially thought she'd be super boring, but she is honestly rly fun to read abt, although I will admit I prefer her in stories not completely centered on her.

Ako: Ako my bestie Ako my beloved. Well first and foremost, she's the owner of my favorite singing voice in bandori, so that's good for her, but also I just rly like how fun she is. Her design, her voice, her personality, she's just a rly fun character and I almost always like seeing her around in any given story. Shes also my siblings favorite character, so bonus points for that.

Sayo: ah yes, the issues haver. Tbh I haven't done as much deep character analysis with her as with other characters, but I still personally rly like Sayo and will defend her to the death from people who overly demonize her. I will refrain from going on that rant though for now, and simply talk abt what I like abt her. She's just. Such a deadbeat loser /pos. Like she's what I mean when I say I want more deadbeat loser fail women in media, she's just such an idiot loser dork and I love her so much for it

Lisa: aaand here's number 5 in my top five. I would go into detail on why I love her but that would get real personal real fast so I'll just summarise it by saying this; whatever is wrong with me and whatever is wrong with her is the same and I want her to see a therapist sooo bad

Kokoro: ohhhhhh Kokoro. My sweet darling Kokoro. I've always rly liked her, and Im glad to because she rly helped put me in the right headspace to analyse bandori characters, because she genuinely is SUCH an interesting character that DOES have layers, but it's just hard to notice if you try to read her stuff like you'd read more long and angst heavy media. Just because she isn't secretly miserable all the time doesn't mean there isn't depth to her, because there genuinely is a lot and I rly like that abt her. She's a very fun character to analyse

Misaki: mannn I love Misaki a lot actually. Like, I feel like shed be the sort of character 14 year old me would rly like, and for once I don't mean that in a bad way fndjdmdjr. She's of course very funny, being both just some guy in a very wacky cast while also being low key also a dumbass but in denial abt it, but I also love how she rly does genuinely love hello happy world. Like, I feel like it's a bit to common to think of Misaki like she hates the band and it's members, but she isn't just a ball of endless negativity and I like to appreciate that now and then since a lot of the fandom doesn't lol

Kanon: ah yes the character I have the worst takes on by far /hj. Well ok its mostly contained in aus but still vdndndjdbd. Not focusing on that though, the more time goes on the more I just. Rly rly like her arc. Like, idk there's something abt how hard she works to not just be more confident, but to be a good person who helps people and lifts them up like Kokoro did with her that I just love a lot. Tbh, it's probably because of those bad takes I mentioned before, since that particular arc stands out a lot more in my mind next to two au versions of her I have in particular that uh. Could rly use those messages fmdjdnsjv. But yeah, I simply think she's neat (<- is holding back just oh so much rn so people don't get mad at it)

Kaoru: ah yes, the beloved of all time. Kaoru is like. The entire reason I first got into bandori so that alone is a pretty big plus rnsjrndy. But also, to get real sappy for a moment, Kaoru's whole thing abt like. Self love and allowing yourself to acknowledge every version of yourself, and understand that they are all deserving of love, it just. Genuinely means so much to me, and I wish I had a story like hers to see when I was younger and going through some very intense self loathing issues. Also gay gay homosexual gay.

Hagumi: the character ever Im tired of everyone pretending she's uninteresting actually!!! Similar with Kokoro, she DOES have a lot of depth, she's just not easy to analyse if you're expecting the stories to spoon feed all her issues to you. Anyways, I love how she manages to be written as a person with a lot of anxiety, which is often worsened by her being very high empathy, but it's not presented in a way that makes it seem like her happiness is pretend. She finds a lot of comfort and confidence in her friends and in hello happy world, and it's hard to tell if you don't know what to look for but she genuinely is doing a lot better now mentally than she was before. I love her very dearly.

Mashiro: I love this dramatic gay loser who only gives off the illusion of not being dramatic because she's an anxious person. First things first, god her design is so fucking pretty man and I loooove her voice sm too.... And also, I rly like how she manages to be a generally kind person while still being kind of an ass sometimes, and I like how that's a thing actively acknowledged by the narrative and how it's something she's trying to improve on, and on that line I like that it's not something that just disappeared after morfonica bs1, it honestly makes her feel like a really well rounded character that actually like. Has to put effort into being better and stuff. Idk I just think she's neat

Rui: love this bastard sm she's just soooo full of issues. Like, I rly rly like how morfonica bs2 brought up that Rui's act of maturity is ultimately just an act, and how because of how much she's just been playing that guessing game of playing adult, she genuinely doesn't know how to deal with any of her emotions, even positive ones. And yet, shes still somewhat aware of how bad it is for her, but doesn't know how to change that or even if she can, and trying to reach for that is scary to her. She didn't just join morfonica to stand around and be mean or whatever, she does genuinely want them to change her mind on there being other options for her other than her cage of "logic", and while she still does have a ways to go, she is making progress.

Tsukushi: firstly, I love her voice and design a lot. Secondly, I just like her man I don't think I could rly tell you why but she's just rly likable to me idk. It might just be me relating to her as a fellow eldest sibling short king™, but I just think she's really relatable and is just funny. Also shes shorter than me so Im legally allowed to make fun of her for being short, ha short

Touko: and the last of the top five, here's my dear ol number 4. Look at me. Look. Look at me. They have so much fucking adhd man like I cannot overstate this enough they have so much adhd I relate to them SO hard and also they're just. So undiagnosed with so many mental issues that I also have so I just legally have to adore them ok

Nanami: bingus my beloved. Her design is just soooooooo pretty man and also kitty faced characters are my favorites design wise so thats many bonus points for her. She also just has sooo much autism, and I also rly rly like her dynamic with Rui. I want to cradle her in my arms like a cat

Layer: and it's time for the last of the poor little meow meow trio, and lemme tell you, Layer is very hard to talk abt for me dnsnsjdnsh. Like I love them so so dearly their my favorite ras member by a long shot but like. Idk what to say other that she's just a deeply pathetic loser and I wanna shove her down a flight of stairs and shake them like a soda can /pos

Pareo: absolutely superb you funky little lesbian. Anyways Pareo is one of the best written characters in this damn game and just. Fuck man after having been in a fandom where 99% of the gay coding was just blatant bigotry, coming into bandori was such a nice fresh breath of air, with Pareo being one of the biggest reasons why. She's a great example of a lesbian coded character that very clearly was intended for sapphic people and was written by sapphic people and is actually written like. Well. Like I was gonna say even if her being a lesbian can't be canonically said, but like she literally has used explicitly romantic language to confess to Chu2 so idk what to tell y'all

Masking: love this lil loser. I find him soooo funny but to be fair that's partially from me just stamping my siblings humor onto him rndjvtndhd. Also, yummy yummy tasty design, probably one of my top favorites tbh. I swear I have more to say abt him but it's 4 am and my brain is melting Im so sorry Masking I love you

Lock: loser idiot loser I like this dork sm. Lock has just sooo many good dynamics with people, with their relationships with Asuka and Ako being my personal favorites, and I also just like their personality in general. Again Id have more to say but it's 4 am Im so sorry sweety

Chu2: I'm gonna try to overpower the exhaustion just a lil bit for this stinky kitty because god damn do I ADORE Chu2. Like, she's another very very strongly adhd coded character in bandori, and also canonically sapphic so that's also cool, but I also rly like her for similar reasons that I like Mashiro, that being that she has issues that she's working on, but shes clearly having to put actual work into it. This is amplified by the fact that she's like 14, and has mostly had to raise herself and doesn't know how to deal with a lot of this stuff on her own, and like. It's ok that she needs support, but I also like that she's not treated like she can just get away with being a shithead all the time, her actions do have consequences and she does realise that. being a model upsets him, given he was already upset, but then tacks onto it feeling like gsm is valuing him highest for his looks at the moment. anyone who can make the experience less than the worst would b appreciated (or make it worse, talk exclusively abt his visuals, i’m down)

busking sung is actually much more into, but that’s largely because of how much he loves performing, with a side helping of appreciating the charity angle. performing is definitely a release for him, but who knows, he could possibly butt heads with someone too

other schedules:

at first glance, sung wouldn’t be very interested in going to the pool party, but he would only need a small nudge to go tbh bc what teeny part of him has capability for pettiness would want to do something gsm doesn’t approve of, And it would be him giving into utilizing whatever unhealthy coping mechanisms he wanted, just for one night. i’m sure he’d black out by end of night, and would make terrible decisions. encourage him? help him? all up for grabs
