So, my take on Ronja's wardrobe if she was still a paranormal investigator and not the president (sadly, I let that idea go in the end but hey, who knows what could've been).

First off, she's totally dye her hair blonde because she loves that look. Second, her colour palette would be more varied in clothes (but she'd still prefer to wear sleek and stylish outfits) because the attire of a paranormal sleuth is more relaxed than that of a politician.

But other than that, Ronja is still Ronja. She loves spending money on looking good, and it doesn't matter how much her closet will end up costing :D

Hello Hello!~ Could I ask for some Headcanons with Vil with a super gentle and calm S/O who’s really got at comforting him? I imagine Vil gets stressed easily with his work as an actor and with his position as Dorm Leader, and his S/O is there for him to relax with after a long stressful day

I'm in my Vil feelings so I got pretty mushy with this one. Though, this might be in the top best fics I've written. Enjoy!

Rest and Relaxation with Vil

As soon as the door to Vil’s room shuts, his shoulders slump down. He lets out a tired sigh while slipping off his heels. He neatly placed his shoes by the door, then sat at his vanity. 

His reflection, it’s a rare sight. His makeup had melted through the day. If one were to look hard enough, you would almost be able to see dark circles. His schedule was hectic today. School work, a modeling gig, and Epel’s etiquette classes, all topped off with his daily dormleader duties. Vil’s face looked grim as he removed the bobby pins from his hair. 

His hands, tired and uncoordinated, almost shaking with exhaustion. He reached to drop a bobby pin into its container. The long sleeves of the Pomefiore uniform sent it clattering to the ground. Pins scattered about his once pristine carpet. For a moment, all he could do was give an empty stare. Vil silently brought his head into his hands. “You’re better than this.” He whispered to himself.

Pulling out his phone, he sends a text. ‘Come over. Bring a change of clothes. I’d like for you to spend the night.’

It wasn’t too long before he heard a knock on his door. He lets out a mutter of acknowledgment. 

You enter his dorm room with a bag in hand. You’ve already shed your school uniform in exchange for more comfortable clothes. Removing your shoes, you pull on the slippers he left out. “Are you okay, Vil? You never ask me over through text.” 

The blonde young man lets out a groan having to remember his long day. He stood up from his vanity, his hair falling over his shoulders. “I just had to see you. My day has been so tiring. I need a moment of relaxation.” Vil’s arms wrapped around you. The subtly sweet smell of his perfume fills your senses.

“I had a feeling. You’re still in your uniform, after all. Please, let me help you relax.” 

“My, aren’t we forward this evening, sweet potato.” 

You push him out of your embrace. “Not like that. Start getting undressed. I’ll get your pajamas.” 

Vil began to untie his robes as you walked to his tall wardrobe. The clothes were beautiful in both looks and quality. You grab Vil’s favorite sleepwear. Sleek, black, and silky. Perfectly breathable to not sweat in your sleep while still holding a stylish aura. The fabric felt cool in your hands. 

Turning back to Vil, his robe had been removed and folded, along with his accessories. All that remained was his button-up and pants. You stopped him as he went to unbutton his shirt. “Allow me, my queen. Tonight is about helping you relax.” Your fingers gently undid his shirt revealing his smooth and slender frame.

Your touch brought a sense of warmth into Vil’s chest. He was used to people adoring him, but this was different. His fans loved him though they would never see him like this. Face soft and free of makeup, body relaxed and exposed. He craves these moments of intimacy, of longing. 

Once you’ve finished his shirt, you slip the fabric down and off his shoulders, replacing the stiff uniform material with soft, velvety pajamas. Once his nightshirt was on, his pants soon followed. 

You grab his hand with a gentleness that makes his heart melt. You bring him over to his vanity, having him sit in front of the mirror. Holding a comb from the drawer, you smooth through his soft locks. Having been with Vil for a while now, you’ve got his routine memorized. 

“I stopped by the school store on my way here. I remember that you wanted to try those face masks. We can use them once I’m done with your hair.” You say while applying a floral scented product to his hair.

Vil’s eyes meet yours in the mirror. He can’t help but let a small smile grace his features. “Darling, thank you for all of this. I love you, I truly do. I promise I’ll return the favor.” He takes your hand and places a kiss on the back of it.

“Oh, you don’t have to. I do this because I love you so much. You’re always so busy. I enjoy any time we get to spend together.” Your hand meets his chin as you tilt him into a kiss. Though it was chaste, Vil could feel the love coursing through him.

The dormleader stood to his full height. Slender hands cup your face as he brings you closer to him. “Nonsense. You deserve everything I can give you.” Soft lips place a kiss on your temple. “Now, let's see if these facemasks live up to the hype on Magicam.”

The two of you now sit on Vil’s plush bed. Fruity face masks adorn your faces. “Hm, the ingredients aren’t up to par with what I get from Octavinelle.” Vil tsked. “Though, the scent isn’t too overbearing. My face already feels quite refreshed.”

“But they’re way cheaper than what Azul charges. You’re getting what you’re paying.” You respond while flipping through a magazine.

Vil clicks his tongue. “That is true. For someone on a budget, this would be a wonderful option.” A soft tune plays on his phone. “Ah, it’s time to take them off. Come now, sweet potato. As long as you’re a guest in Pomefiore, you will be following our skincare.” 

Once in the bathroom connected to his dorm room, Vil began to massage many oils and lotions into your skin. “The air is becoming dry with the recent changing seasons. Make sure to lotion and drink plenty of water. Lest your skin starts to crack.” 

His slender fingers delicately glide across your features. His touch is light yet firm. The way he looks at you rivals that of a princess and her knight in levels of endearment. For most of his life, Vil had to play the villain. But with you, he could allow himself to be the wishful prince. 

“There, you’re all done. Might I say you’re looking as radiant as ever, darling.” Vil dragged a lone finger along your jaw.

You give him that smile that made his knees weak. The smile that made him feel loved. “Thank you, Vil. You always do a great job! As expected by the fairest of them all.” 

“Flattery will get you everywhere, my love.” Vil presses his lips against yours. The waxy feel of his lip balm aided his lips gliding over yours. Again and again, he brings you into kiss after kiss. Feeling as if you’d fade away the second he stopped. 

When he finally pulls away, his cheeks have a pink tint that blush could never replicate. “We…we must be heading to bed now. Getting eight hours of sleep helps to reduce stress and improve one’s mood.

The blankets of Vil’s bed were soft and cool against your skin. His pillows felt as if you were lying on a cloud. With a yawn, Vil pulls on his sleep mask. He lies down with his back facing you. These moments in private were the times he truly felt adored. The feeling of your arms wrapping around him made him feel small in the best possible way. He wasn’t a world-renowned actor or the dormleader of Pomefiore. At the moment, he was simply Vil.

“Goodnight, my love. Thank you so much for helping me tonight. I love you.”

The October edition of the Lobotomy Room film club can only mean one thing – a horror movie! On Thursday 19 October 2023 let’s embrace the Halloween spirit with a screening of The Hunger (tagline: “Nothing human loves forever”) in the plush surroundings of Fontaine’s bar in East London!

The Hunger (which turned forty earlier this year) is director Tony Scott’s art-y erotic horror movie about a vampiric love triangle (in which the word “vampire” is never once mentioned). At the time it was dismissed by critic Roger Ebert as “agonizingly bad” and widely derided as “style over substance”. Sure, The Hunger sometimes resembles a perfume ad or music video, but if you’re going to do style over substance, do it like THIS! And anyway, four decades later The Hunger ranks as a perennial cult favourite for LGBTQ audiences and goths (and not just because Bauhaus perform “Bela Lugosi’s Dead” in the opening nightclub sequence). David Bowie and French cinema’s ice queen Catherine Deneuve star as impossibly stylish ageless vampire couple John and Miriam Blaylock. Before you can say “Are you making a pass at me, Mrs Blaylock?” Miriam has seduced Sarah (Susan Sarandon). (Clad in a sleek 1940s wardrobe, Deneuve ranks alongside Delphine Seyrig in Daughters of Darkness (1971) as cinema’s definitive lesbian vampire queen - even if she clearly employs a body double in the sex scene with Sarandon!).

Building a Witchy Capsule Wardrobe

The idea of witches has been haunting humankind across continents for centuries. What began as a real-life hysteria that resulted in countless deaths has been reclaimed over time, celebrated in popular television shows (Charmed, Bewitched, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina) and movies (The Craft, Practical Magic, Kiki's Delivery Service), and even becoming a family-friendly Halloween tradition. Though things like witch trials and witch hunts sound like absurd concepts from a distant and radically ignorant time, in reality accusations of witchcraft continue to be taken seriously in multiple countries to this day. But for those of us lucky enough to live without fear of being criminally accused of collaborating with the devil, we can now have a little fun with the "witch" label.

Unsurprisingly, musicians have long embraced the witchy look. Fleetwood Mac frontwoman Stevie Nicks is probably considered by most to have the ultimate witchy rock star aesthetic, complete with an on-stage style of billowing bell sleeves and a discography full of supernatural songs. But it doesn't end there. Florence Welch's ethereal closet of flowing vintage gowns prompted Rolling Stone to describe her as "the Stevie Nicks of the Twilight generation," while Kate Bush has created a style and sound that has inspired many a "is Kate Bush a witch?" Google search. Lorde's predominantly black wardrobe and unconventional movements have also garnered plenty of discussion. "People keep asking me what I will be for Halloween and my answer is that I am Halloween," she once tweeted.

Though the most common visual presentation of a witch involves a green-skinned woman in a pointy hat riding a broom, a modern witchy wardrobe is decidedly more stylish. With a combination of flowy chiffons, lustrous velvets, chunky knits, tough leathers, delicate silks, and intricate lace fabrics, it's a look that is made all the more impactful due to its layers and textures. A little goth, a little bohemian, a little mystical - a witchy wardrobe can be a fun and spooky style to wear year-round, not just in October. If parsing the look down to a capsule-worthy fifteen pieces, these are the witchy essentials.

Whether it's got billowing layers of ruffles or a sleek, simple cut; whether it's a dress adorned with the most dramatic bell sleeves or a shoulder-baring style with no sleeves at all, the black maxi dress is probably the quintessential witchy garment. And while pretty details can be enticing, don't overlook the potential of a basic black maxi. Though it may appear plain on its own, treat it like a canvas onto which you can create endless accessorizing opportunities. Top it with a velvet jacket, wrap it in a chunky belt, or pair it with some lace-up boots, and you've upgraded that nondescript dress and turned it into the ideal witchy outfit.
