MAIN AU LORE - REVISED (PART ONE)

Alright, so, after some thinking. I’ve decided to blow up my old au and rework it :)

After all, it’s two years old and it’s lore has been kinda blown around in the wind. So, resetting everything.

I’m doing the ones I have lore for, as I don't have all the energy in the world anymore.

Important stuff:

Seek’s family + the other entities are trying to escape the hotel. Their family was sealed away by the guiding light nearly a couple thousand years ago.

The entire hotel was pissed off at humanity for destroying their old home, killing Seek’s mother (A-250.), Killing Depth, Some of Rush’s and Ambush’s children, permanently disabling Ambush, potentially killing Silence (they never found their body), and causing Greed to die from a grief induced heart attack.

The guiding light was an angelic being sent to stop them. It built the hotel entity and gave it life, she had no malice towards them, but they needed to be stopped.

It made their prison as humane and as comfortable/natural as possible. Intending for it to eventually return to earth and become their replacement home after their rage cooled and grief healed.

…But never made it inescapable until then, rip.

The other entities work for Grumble and company in various positions.

Jeff betrayed Grumbles and chose to side with the guiding light after seeing that its basically blinded with hate and was making a monster out of its son, Seek.

The upper hotel is the living quarters for the worker entities to stay in except they have their own large suites behind doors inaccessible to humans.

The lower floor is a busy multiplex of pipes and productivity. The pipes are meant to feed into Seek’s mass and get it to a powerful enough state to escape the hotel.

Entities names are actually quite long and complicated! A mixture of sound-words from entity language. The names we call them as are shortened versions or not accurate to their true name! They also have names chosen at the time of their birth, and names they choose. Those change very frequently.

So..let’s get to the hotel’s denizens, shall we?

Pretty mean and grumpy to be honest. The human-translated name is very accurate.

Jeff’s brother, Seek’s uncle, parent to the giggles. Screech’s GREAT uncle.

Disowned and reverted to its natal name after what happened with Jefftholomew. Wants nothing to do with him.

Imagine a pot of pure, unadulterated rage and grumpiness and resentment and spite and every other negative emotion stewing in a pot. Behold, GRUMBLE.

Okay okay headcanons now.

..and also perhaps with a smidge of sorrow.

Aro Ace :)

Brilliant at engineering and construction. Built a labyrinthine network of pipes and mines to try and get more resources.

May have..once taught humans how to build aqueducts.

Also really, really likes gardening.

What can I say? It’s really good at digging with those tentacles.

Its favorites are gardenias.

Eyes loves it lmao those two have entire cork boards dedicated to their plants and what they want to plant this “season”. (Sunlight is rare in the hotel dimension.)

Would probably be caught dead with a garden trowel in its hands singing in the worst goddamn voice you have ever heard.

Really close to its nespring, Seek..though..it also may see it as a tool necessary for it and the others to escape and take their revenge.

Often lazes about in its nest when it exhausted itself from working on pumping raw ore and metal into Seek’s mass.

Does give a flying fuck about its underlings..but its number one priority during work hours is GETTING OUT and its second one is GETTING REVENGE.

So..certain things have..flown under its radar.

Adores its children the giggles and often cajoles them + the hotel’s children with tales of its inventions and adventures long past.

Loves to read to them in its deep voice.

It’s nickname is grumby :)

Its stories are long and complicated, sometimes hard to follow but very entertaining if you manage to stick along for the ride.

It frequently dreams of home..sometimes of a certain someone to.

Seek:

Grumble's Nespring (nonbinary term for neice/nephew), Parent of Screech, Snare + one more.

Married to Figure. <3

Twins w/hide

Still the spiteful little british guy I want to write more of, just huge(r)

Built like something out of vita carnis, think the harvesters with tendrils that suck the everliving shit out your blood and liquidify your organs in an agonizing display of unnatural brutality.

..a bit..err, peeved with the fact that its uncle pretty much is using it to get their way out, sometimes forgetting the fact that Seek is not, just an object for him to use in its escape plans.

Veeeerrryyy particular in the placement of it’s mass.

Hates how much its grown, almost to near dysmorphic levels.

*GRITS ITS NON-EXISTENT TEETH* “I JUST..WANT..TO..LEAVE.”

Sick of it all, not gonna lie.

Figure is it's rock and sanity.

No more winemaking rip. But still loves drinking wine and will often be seen sharing a sip or two on a romantic night out with Figure.

Still wears its suits. Still does the fancy thing.

Screech:

Mischievous lil guy

Plays with the giggles.

Has a more humanoid form, just doesn’t take it.

Is growing quite strong mass wise (see what’s in the nest lol), but Seek FORBIDS grumbles from getting children involved in its plan.

Grumbles concedes, because it kind of agrees, but also because Seek could turn it into an albinistic stain on the wall.

Screech still loves to listen to its to it’s auncle’s stories.

Eyes:

Extremely anxious sometimes to the point of near-neuroticism.

Talks like this this! This! Meant to be disconcerting! disconcerting and all over place! Place.

(There will be translations so people with screen readers can still read! )

Sometimes feels ignored, despite being older then Hide and Seek combined.

Secretly heartbroken about it, but doesn’t say a thing..but they’re boiling over..ohhhh they’re boiling over.

Their emotions are a complicated and LOUD mess.

Besties w/halt they both yap.

Misses their father. Sometimes visits him when they..gets really bad.

Teleports around when their thoughts are everywhere and they want to talk.

Can be dignified..when they want to be.

Don’t look at me! DON’T STOP LOOKING AT ME! Don’t look at m- PICK A LANE GODDAMNIT IT.

Dating Jack, it’s casual and going steady tbh.

Kinda frowned upon that they’re doing so because Jack used to date hide and that was cringe for all involved.

Kinda just is around, likes to cook :) Chef eyes.

Do not bother them in the kitchen they will scream and go crazy.

Giggles + (older giggles/big giggles)

There’s a 100 of them.

Four large ones, and a bunch of increasingly smaller ones.

The four older ones were alive when the hotel collapsed.

Three of them are getting very. very. Tired.

The forth is uhhh..complex.

I’ll do “fourth x reader” fics with the fourth fully grown adult giggle I just want don’t want the aromantic grumble (their father) in any romantic fics lol.

That’s my compromise to you so you do get find romance with one of the nest entities

The four large ones meet every night.

Hide:

Twins w/Seek

Dating Glitch.

COULD be as strong as Seek, but would never even consider increasing its own mass after what happened with Seek.

Extremely close w/Seek

Much more reclusive.

Afraid of its uncle and hates what he’s doing.

light-based in mass that can become much more gooey when distressed or nervous.

Sometimes looks like a weird abstract painting.

Also grieving its home and mother.

Loves to paint.

Used to a lot of paintings of their old home, which tend to be misinterpreted horrifically by Grumble and would further its resolve and/or be used as an example. So, it stopped painting that.

Instead it’s gotten a bit more..secretive about what the meaning behind the paintings it makes are..some are more obvious then others. (Nudges the paintings of shadow/depth.)

The paintings are mostly used to jab at grumble/show better futures without going through his insane ass plan.

Those who truly know and are be to interpret them correctly and figure out their meaning are their friends lol.

It’s sort of its little artistic rebellion against Grumble.

It may ;) have painted ;) a few ;) familiar friends. ;)

Jeff:

Seek’s and hide’s + eyes dad lol

A couple of thousand years old, created alongside his sibling, Grumble.

Used to live at the bottom of the ocean with him before both of the siblings chose to travel the world in search of a home entity.

It took them awhile, those two going on many adventures, finding treasure, fighting other entities, discovering fascinating creatures, meeting friends along the way (some of whom joined them), procuring knowledge.ect

Whole ass dnd campaign with those two.

Jeff gained a deep understanding of humans and respect for them. Viewing them as friends and kin while Grumby kind of just- 🤷

They eventually, did find a home entity. One large enough to house them and their friends.

They all moved in and it was a very happy life for awhile. :)

Found a wife. Had Eyes and later Seek and Hide with her.

Then well..

The humans came.

Centuries later he still doesn’t hate them.

Betrayed grumbs and worked with the guiding light to use his knowledge of the archaic and magical and help Guide create the crucifixes.

Was disowned and is now violently hunted alongside Dread and El-Goblino so they will stop murdering humans.

He also managed to place a spell upon his shop so it’s always concealed.

A bit of a silly guy, loves to play coy.

He’s good at drawing magic runes and ancient languages but utter dogshit when it comes to writing in english.

The money (knobs) is magic too.

Help how do I describe him, goddess of everything else vibes.

Is extremely depressed on the inside though, but DARES not to show it.

Is hurt that Grumbles has pretty much turned his entire family against him and (to him) very few actually see that what he’s doing is insane.

More furious then hurt that he’s using SEEK of all entities.

Glad to have to have Dread, Hide, Gobby and Guide so he’s not too early.

He’s also dating dread lol

Dread:

Toad entity :)

Has pores in his skin and poison in his blood that is extremely deadly.

He can also squirt it in your face.

Also Jeff’s personal spy and pair of eyes.

NO ONE has a clue that he's working with Jeff and except those who are close to Jeff.

Kind of just stands there and pretends to take little naps while secretly spying on others casually.

He's very friendly, so if someone comes up to him while he's listening to others he'll just go about chatting with them.

He also bakes pastries and cooks with Eyes.

Rush and Ambush trust him a lot! He's one of their buddies :)

Him and Bushy are both aquatic entities :)

Tries his best NOT to hurt humans, but given he's older and disabled (Post-traumatic stress disorder + missing an eye.) usually, the other entities will hunt any humans for him so, it's not much of an issue.

However, if a human being IS in his proximity, he is expected and obligated to try and kill them as to not blow his cover.

He prays this will never come to fruition. ^

He's not expected to participate in any active hunts!!

He's the one he least expect.

Overall very well trusted by the hotel's denizens.

Considered one of the hotel's best singers (though to humans he just sounds like a toad)

Pretty much the same as canon.

Just fluffy :)

Outcasted from the hotel AND separated from his wife after what happened with the humans.

Just happy to be here.

The lovely pair of speeding soulmates. + everybody else I actively have the energy to write about.

Rush:

Married to Ambush! <3

They have had many litters and raised many children over the centuries, but the notable ones are the rooms entities and the Sally + Dupe (who are twins.)

Bonded pair do not separate.

One of Grumble's most violent and ardent supporters.

Still very, very mad about what happened.

Doesn't mean it like it very much, though......Grumbles is very grumpy and disgruntled alot of the time.

Ambush's better half.

Both work as miners/line workers. Whatever is the necessity for the day, but Rush primarily works with the handling of larger ore chunks due to it's strength.

Constantly exhausted and very achey.

Very touchy around the topic of humans, dislikes their situation being discussed. Will get into violent arguments with those it disagrees with, sometimes ending in minor fights that Ambush has to drag it away from.

Hangs out with Blitz sometimes, but doesn't talk a lot, (esp since the backdoor entities are scheming against Grumble).

Flirts w/Ambush while they work. It's like those two are still dating.

Still loves to knit, sometimes does it when its worried.

Ambush:

Bonded pair do not separate

Permanently disabled, it's jaw was twisted in such a way that it could never heal and is in constant pain because of that.

Some days are better then most, but sometimes It's left in bed twitching in pain.

Also super loyal to Grumble, even if the guy can be..mmm..

Smokes a lot to help cope with the pain, and unfortunately is very depressed after losing its sibling and some of its children.

Very tired...just.. very tired.

Is on the verge of quitting working, but doesn't.

Those weird ass flies:

Rush and Ambush both love catching them and frying them.

They’re very territorial and will kill someone and then suck their blood.

I had a dream and it was so random I just had to share it lmao. I guess it would be an Encanto Au, kinda? (Also anything in parentheses is commentary from me.)

So it started with both Julieta & Agustín and Pepa & Félix were having trouble having children (any pregnancy conceived would end in either miscarriage or stillborn). Bruno tried to have visions about whether or not his sisters could have children, but each time he tried, the only thing he saw were glowing butterflies.

Alma felt that it was Agustín and Félix’s faults, but aside from a few snide comments nothing came of it.

In a bout of desperation, Julieta and Pepa went to the candle and begged for a miracle. Stating that they would give up their own gifts. The candle responded and the flame glowed brightly for a brief moment before going back to normal. (They did lost their gifts for a few days, but they had them back by the time the babies were born).

And just like that Pepa and Julieta were pregnant. (And unlike what I was expecting Mirabel & Antonio were the first to be born not Isabela & Dolores)

(There was like a time skip I guess, I wasn’t really dreaming it was just blank.) But Mirabel was born around 18 minutes before Antonio, and she cried until they were put together. Once they were, soft lights began to spawn before glowing white butterflies began to appear. (Bruno’s visions began to make a lot more sense.)

Two of the butterflies were different, they were both slightly bigger than the rest. One glowed yellow (was around with Antonio) and the other teal (was mainly around Mirabel). It was hard to tell that there were separate swarms of butterflies since they were always together. (They seemed to be able to talk to each other without actually speaking so maybe telepathy or something?)

The Madrigals referred to the two as their miracles, and they were incredibly spoiled. They got away with everything and got anything they want. Mirabel & Antonio were both incredibly sweet, they were the town’s little prince and princess. The twin miracles.

Around 2 years passed before a new butterfly appeared around Antonio. It was also little bigger than the others and glowed orange. Everyone but the twins were confused (the two weren’t telling them anything) until Pepa began to show signs of pregnancy. And boom Camilo was born (Antonio named him). The twins always seemed to know if the new baby needed anything (I think it was the butterfly telling them, but not 100% sure)

Same thing happened 3 years later a blue butterfly began to glow around Mirabel. Julieta was pregnant and gave birth to Luisa (Mirabel named her) and they always knew when something was wrong. Then again 2 years later, a red butterfly showed up around Antonio while a purple one was with Mirabel. Already knowing what to expect the Madrigals began to prepare for the new babies. Mirabel & Antonio once again named their respective sibling. And had an innate sense to knowing when something was wrong.

It was clear that the parents favored their first born children, however none of the children minded since they always had each other. And while the youngest ones could be a bit bratty at times their older sister and brother would always be there to remind them to be kind!

(Another time skipped happens I think) By this point Mirabel & Antonio are 13, Camilo is 11, Luisa is 8, and Dolores & Isabela are 6. Mirabel had made butterfly clips for them all (or at least I think they were butterflies, I just know that they were their respective colors.) And all of them had little butterflies made of light following them around!

And that’s where I woke up. Honestly kinda disappointed, because I wanted to see what happened next😭😭

That's honestly so real tho 😭 you know how many dreams I've had and they just ended. Like I can't fathom how interesting they are and then they'll just end.

Ok I'm gonna talk about another one of my aus but this au is like

Complete crack but treated seriously

I call it the Brackenfur is Squirrelflight au

BASICALLY, THIS AU CAME FROM ME AND SOME OF MY FRIENDS RANTING ABOUT LEAFPOOL'S WISH CAUSE THIS BOOK SUCKS AND WE WENT "well thank god firestar agreed for squirrelflight to go with leafpool, imagine if it had been someone else instead." And that's where I came in and said "yeah imagine if like Brackenfur had replaced Squirrelflight."

And there you go.

I'll only be going over the events of Leafpool's Wish here cause the au actually goes all the way to the end of Po3.

First of all, BrambleSquirrel and BrackenSorrel are not a thing anymore. It's for the plot I'm not sorry.

So, Leafpool still makes up the "yo starclan told me i need to find a special plant can i go" sign and firestar is like "ok but take brackenfur with you plz" and Leafpool (an empath), sensing she doesn't have much of a choice, agrees.

The two of them leave ThunderClan but to make things more logical they leave way earlier than in canon so that way Leafpool pregnancy is at least less noticeable because I do think that ThunderClan cats do have at least half a brain, at least some of them.

During the trip, Brackenfur doesn't notice it at first and Leafpool spends the entire beginning of the trip being like "when he finds me out me and my kits are dead." She doesn't think he's going to hurt her or the kits cause that's still BRACKENFUR we're talking about but she does think that he will tell the clan when they come back and she really doesn't want that.

Skipping some things but basically Leafpool's pregnancy starts showing more and more but like, Brackenfur still seems completely oblivious to it, until they meet Yew (yes, the loner/kittypet from Crowfeather's Trial, he's there because you have no idea how much I love him)

Brackenfur gets defensive and tells him to get away and Yew is like "bestie I'm not gonna fight either of you also you might wanna be careful cause that mate of yours is kinda pregnant." and Brackenfur goes "this isn't my mate and the fact she's pregnant is literally the reason i wants you to leave" which makes Leafpool go "excuse me what" to which Brackenfur answers "yk it was kinda obvious" and Yew nods in the background

Leafpool goes "hold on i need to sit down a minute" and Yew just go do his own thing meanwhile Brackenfur stays with Leafpool.

While Yew is away, Brackenfur and Leafpool have a conversation after Leafpool pulls herself together and it basically goes "wait so you knew i was pregnant and didn't wish doom upon my entire family?" "yeah lmao" and Yew comes back not long after with something to eat.

After Yew convince them that the food is not poisoned and they're all done eating, when Leafpool and Brackenfur are about to leave, Yew goes "can i come with you, to help you with the labor i mean" which makes both Leafpool and Brackenfur ask him "why tf would you that" to which Yew answers "idk i fed you already and i don't have anything else to do" so they agree and Yew joins them in their traveling.

In this au i cut out entirely the fox sideplot because it was completely unnecessary no i will not take criticism.

At some point Yew leaves to get something to eat and so does Brackenfur as well as getting something for Leafpool, he catches a shrew and they talk. This talk is about what the fuck are they gonna do once they get back to the clans. That's where the crack comes in because they think that pretending that Brackenfur - who is cis in this au just to be clear - gave birth to the kits is the only possibility. Yew comes back and they explain their plan to him. He thinks it's the worst idea they could have possibly come up with but he decides to be supportive of his dumbass clan besties because "clan cats are insane anyways"

Comes the moment where Leafpool gives birth, the small party is caught in a snowstorm and hides in a log. I will not write the actual birth scene because it will suck if I do. And also there is no StarClan showing up after Leafpool gave birth because what the actual fuck was that about lmao.

So after the kits are born they name them. First is lionblaze, which i'm thinking of naming something with a link to fire.

Then there's hollyleaf, which brackenfur and leafpool both agree to call yewkit, after yew. Yew thinks this is cheesy af and is kind of embarrassed but they both insist on naming her that, saying that this is the least they can do to thank him for what they've done for them.

And jayfeather is still named jaykit cause i don't have any other name idea.

Afterwards they need to head back to the clan and so they part ways with yew, thanking him again for all he's done for them, to which he says that he's always glad to be of help. That's around where Leafpool's Wish ends but we're not stopping here.

While they are off traveling, squirrelflight is woken up by ashfur for dawn patrol, they have a civil conversation because ashfur isn't a creep in this au 😳 (this role goes to someone else and i think that ashfur's monologue is way funnier with this character)

The patrol takes off and, surprise surprise, they stumble upon Leafpool and Brackenfur with 3 kits. They're happy to see them but also extremely confused. and take the both of them back to camp. Squirrelflight tries to squeeze info out of them but they say that they'll explain everything when they get to the camp.

They get back, and everyone is happy to see them back but also extremely weirded out by the kits. Firestar goes "where are these kits from? weren't y'all supposed to bring back a plant or something?" To which Leafpool goes "yeah but you see the plant was a metaphor actually and those kits are the plant" which she knows is probably the worst thing she could have said but she panicked and said whatever came to mind.

Firestar goes "oh okay, doesn't answer my first question tho" and Brackenfur steps up saying "yeah so uh the kits are mine. i gave birth to them and am 100% their biological father"

Leafpool and Brackenfur both realize how shitty of an explanation that actually is and that this plan will never work when brackenfur says it aloud in front of the whole clan.

That is until someone in the crowd goes "WAIT YOU WERE PREGNANT AND DIDN'T TELL ME??" and that someone reveals themself to be Brambleclaw because bracken and bramble have been pining on each other for a while and became mates not long before this whole thing because why tf not. So basically Bramble thinks the kits are his and Brackenfur just goes "YEAH. TOTALLY. THEY'RE TOTALLY YOURS." and everyone just buys it.

Leafpool is relieved and thinks i can't believe that actually worked and you know that brackenfur is thinking the exact same thing.

And while the kits are taken away so a queen can nurse them Leafpool and Brackenfur just think this is just the beginning of trouble isn't it

Stop I just had the best idea for a KnY AU. Like you know how Tanjiro's mom only ever had a single child at a time? Well what if she gave birth to twins for her second pregnancy?! What if she had two girls? Obviously one was Nezuko, but what if she had a twin named Nobuko. Like bro. My mind is blown from my own intelliginence. And like, SPOILER ALERT!!!! WATCH OUT!!!!!!! SPOILERS AHEAD GUYS!!!!!!

Ok but like yknow how Nezuko and Zenitsu (somehow) get together after the final battle?? WELL IM THINKING THAT NOBUKO COULD MARRY RENGOKU SENJURO. IM SO SMORT. SMART. YEAHHHH. Bc like wouldn't it be kinda funny if both twins ended up marrying blondes? Plus I think that Senjuro has kids and other future desendants, so Nobuko being there would just make that part easier to account for. And like I'm so sorry if u couldn't tell but honestly Zenitsu is like... definitely not my favorite character. Like, he's good for laughs and he is powerful and important, but I just don't like his perverted-ness. And if you also couldn't tell, I think Senjuro is one of the sweetest goddamn things on this green earth. I actually just found out that the Senjuro/Nezuko exists, and I kinda like it better than NezuZen.. sorry not sorry. But since Nezuko actually does love the yellow pervert, I won't make or force her to be with someone she doesn't love. But, IF NEZUKO HAD A TWIN THAT FELL IN LOVE WITH SENJURO, THOSE PROBLEMS WOULD DISAPPEAR!! I COULD HAVE THE SAME THINGS I LIKE, AND STILL LET THE ORINGINAL KNY CHARACTERS BE HAPPY!! So yeah that's my two cents on that, thanks for comin to my ted talk lmao.

But like I have no fricken idea what Nobuko would be doing the whole time Nezuko was a demon. Like, would they both be turned?? Just Nezuko??? Idk, but I really like this idea so if anyone has any other ideas or questions or anything else, please tell me!! Thanks so much!

I don't write too often for Selene unfortunately, she's my sweet precious baby, and somehow I abandoned her 😭 I'd also like to write more for Adeline, I've so much info about her and I just can't come up with an idea of how to work it into a chapter without it being too out of place.

To be honest, now that I think of it Selene is kind of my OC, at least in terms of the modern au 🤔 anyway, I love how different they are at first glance but when you pay attention they're actually not that different and you kind of can make out Tyril's type.

They both have a reflective/contemplative quality which often pushes them to self-destructive activities but they are responsible enough not to let it destroy them completely (I hope that makes sense?). They know how far they can push the limits (especially Jude) and they take advantage of it.

You didn't have a chance to see it yet but Jude can be manipulative as hell. Ngl I'm kinda proud of myself for not making him perfect, I love how destroyed and mean that man can be, lol. I think thats my favourite headcanon.

I don't know if there's something that repeatedly shows up regarding Jude but when it comes to Selene then it's definitely flowers. And the ocean. I think I use quite a lot of metaphors while writing about her and sometimes I think it's actually too much (but then I remember that since I'm the author I make the rules hehe)

I don't know if you've read lore olympus, but I'd really like to apply some story concepts to the disney version.

For example, the pomegranate was the one that gave Hades his dark powers, in my version of the story Hades at the moment of birth was a god of the earth and his name was Aidoneus, he had power over the earth in the sense that He could create minerals and other geological resources, however, when he became ruler of the underworld, he had to eat the grenade making a deal with Erebus and be able to have enough strength to imprison Kronos, Hades no longer uses his original powers since they have been disabled by deal with Erebus.

But I actually have! My Persephone’s design is actually somewhat based off of the Lore Olympus Persephone (mainly just the pink hair and skin lol)! 😁 I’ve read the first few chapters? Or comics? I dunno, I read some of it on Webtoon lol, but stopped reading after the whole thing with Persephone and Apollo. It made me really uncomfortable. 😥

I mean, I like the concept of modernized Greek gods, but I feel like it could’ve been executed a little better. I kinda got Hazbin Hotel/Riverdale vibes from it lol. I’m just personally not the biggest fan of the comics. They’re okay, but like I said they could be better lol, so I’m not quite sure if I’ll be adding any Lore Olympus type stuff to any of my fics or anything.

BUT, I am planning on making some modern AUs for the Disney Hercules universe! I have one that’s kinda sorta almost like Lore Olympus where all of the gods are still gods, but instead of being like these big powerful ancient beings, they basically run a big corporation for the Earth. Like there’d be different departments and such like the Aquatic Department (Poseidon is the head of that), and Underworld Department (which Hades is head of), and of course Zeus would be the CEO of the whole thing, but Hades wants to sabotage him and take over as CEO instead lol. Meanwhile, there’s the Seasonal Department run by Demeter where her daughters Persephone and Despoina run Spring and Winter, while Plutus, their little brother is the treasurer of the company. But, yeah, the whole AU would basically be an office romance between Hades and Persephone lmao.

My other modern AU idea would be a sorta Record Label/Music Industry AU where Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades run a big Record Label Industry together. Zeus, of course, is the head honcho while Poseidon is second in command and Hades is mainly the big recruiter who swindles different “gods and mortals” (they’re all technically mortals but they all still look like gods lol) into signing contracts with their music studio. Hades is caught between wanting to make a huge record label of his own that will overrun Zeus’ and wanting to take over Zeus’ position and run the entire industry himself. But yeah, eventually Hades would overhear Persephone recording music for her album in the studio and just instantly falls in love with her lol. But, of course, I haven’t even finished my main fic (‘Til Death) yet, so those will most likely have to wait lol.

Kinda HC that Azems source shard dies during/before each calamity, and they played some pivotal role in either bringing it about or trying to prevent it. MSQ would be a series of echo visions going through the events leading up to each death, and what happened after. I'd probably call it Shardbound, to bring it full circle back to my wols name weh also cuz that's just been the theme of her story, even back when arr dropped (though rip, yet another SB acronym lmao) so you'd go from the first all the way to the 6th or 7th calamity (not sure about 7 cuz that'd just be 1.0 lmao)

I gave Yuki the Big Tail and I like to imagine it is large like a croc's, also she does the water float thing. She rumbles like a croc too

Crystal hisses and has folding fangs like a snake, and her scales are small and cover a lot of her body so she can shed them in one big pull

Also HC that au ra spend only part of their pre-natal time as a pregnancy, and about halfway through they come out as an egg. This way the mother doesn't have to risk birthing a gigantic baby boy or deal with horn nubs. You can tell when they're about to Lay because they start to get nesting instinct, and crave foods that give them a lot of calcium. Yuki has her egg and gets the Ironworks to build a portable crystal-powered incubator, and it looks like those travel backpacks for cats

1. Do you prefer writing one-shots or multi-chaptered fics?

Oh, I got a question like that once! And I’m more into writing series of one-shots. They are all connected, but they aren't in chronological order. I find this way of writing more freeing.

2. Do you plan each chapter ahead or write as you go?

I plan each chapter ahead. I know what the great lines of the chapter will look like, which POV will be used, but for the more detailed stuff, I write as I go.

3. Describe the creative process of writing a chapter/fic

Oh, it's kinda messy tbh. First I brainstorm ideas after finding the inspiration, which can come from anything, really. Sometimes I write down those ideas. Then if it's a multi-chaptered fic like “open your eyes” or the Teen Pregnancy AU, I outline the biggest moments and pick which POV will be used. Then goes the process of writing. I write in chronological order, I don't jump around or write my fave scenes first. I just can't, it has to be in order. I won't lie that sometimes I write a few words or snippets of dialogue for later, but otherwise, It's in order. I connect the dots then between each important event and write the details as I go. Once I’m done with the process of writing, I try to let my brain rest for a day or two, and the story as well. But it’s a big “I TRY” because sometimes I’m too impatient 😭 Next is the editing. Not gonna lie, my editing process lowkey changed over time and now I’m editing like a pig lmao, but I highlight in red the paragraphs that need to be improved, and then I rewrite what needs to be rewritten. Once I’m done, I highlight those in green. Then I read, and read, and read to check if there are any typos or mistakes left. It’s such a long process to be honest, but once I’m mostly content with my work, I post. If It's a one-shot, my process is kinda the same except I don’t really outline, I just know what the great lines are going to be.

9. Do you comment on stories you read?

I try my best to leave a comment on each story I read, tho sometimes I’m shy, especially in the Jonsa fandom, I fear I wouldn't be welcome here. But if I enjoyed a story, I always leave at least a kudos!

14. how do you write emotional scenes? Do you ever feel what the characters feel? Do you draw from personal experiences?

Ouch the question I was scared to get, because I’m not sure how to reply. I try to put myself in the character’s shoes? What they would feel, and how they would react while respecting their characterization. If I can’t, I listen to some music that reminds me of them or the event that is about to unfold. And yes, I do feel what they feel. Not all the time, but for “grieving for the living”, I was as numb with the pain as Cersei was. Like killing Jaime made me feel like I had a hole in my chest. As for drawing from experience, not really, except for “sweetest devotion”, Joanna’s feelings were inspired by my own when I was little and my mother gave birth to my little brother.

21. Would you ever collaborate with another writer for a story?

I don’t think so, to be honest. I know myself, I’m too independent and I like things being done my way. I would be just awful to work with 😭

33. Do you want to be published some day?

God yes, it’s one of my top dreams. But I don’t think it will ever happen.

I’m open to the question. If someone really wanted a work from me, and if I find the idea interesting, why not? I think that could be a lovely experience.

But, as she soon found out, detective Ackerman she used to admire so much was actually a far cry from the ideal policeman Petra thought he was. He was rude, harsh and easily annoyed. And, in addition, he still hadn’t moved on from the death of his previous partner - detective Hange Zoe.

Petra was standing in front of a coffee machine, trying to choose between latte and cappuccino. She almost pressed on a button with latte written on it, when a hand, which fell heavily on her shoulder, stopped her.

"Goodness, don't even think of buying coffee there!"

Startled, Petra whirled around. She gasped as she saw Captain Erwin standing in front of her.

"Am I... not allowed to buy coffee here?"

Was there some unspoken rule that newly promoted detectives couldn't take coffee from the precinct's coffee machine? Was she overstepping some line?

For a second, Captain Erwin's eyebrows drew together in confusion. But then his lips curved into a smile, as he let out a soft chuckle.

"Oh no, no, of course, you're allowed to order coffee there," he assured her. "But you really shouldn't. In Levi's words," he scowled, trying to mimic Levi's annoyed expression. Petra couldn't resist a giggle - Captain Erwin's impression was spot on. "It tastes worse than horse's piss."

Petra covered her mouth with two hands, stifling her laughter.

Captain raised his arms in a placating gesture. "His words, not mine. But it's truly awful. C'mon," he turned around and started walking, beckoning Petra to do the same. "I'll make you a better one."

As Captain was busy with preparing coffee, Petra couldn’t help, but look around his office. The office wasn’t big or spacious, but it was brightly lit and tidy. There wasn’t much inside, only a bookshelf, filled with case files and diplomas, a small leather coach and simple wooden desk. The desk, for some reason, attracted the most of Petra’s attention. It didn’t look different from her own, the same computer model, the same table lamp, however… there was a photo frame standing beside computer screen. She couldn’t see, who was pictured there, but she found it curious and a little strange nevertheless. She would have never guessed that Captain had a family. He didn’t seem the type.  

"Here you go," Erwin placed a cup in front of Petra. She took it with two hands, lifting it up and inhaling a deep, bitter aroma. It smelled perfect. She brought it to her lips, taking a first sip. Oh. Not only it smelled perfect, it tasted perfect too. She couldn't keep in a small moan of satisfaction that escaped her lips, as the hot liquid made its way down her throat.

Erwin watched her with amused eyes.  

"Thank you," Petra smiled sheepishly, blushing slightly, as she put the cup down. "It's the best coffee I've had in weeks."

"My pleasure," Erwin smiled back, drinking from his own cup.

Petra fidgeted. Captain’s expression was relaxed, but those bright blue eyes were so intense, she felt like he was staring into her soul. Why did he even call her there? Surely not just for coffee.

"C-captain?" Petra gripped the cup in her hands tighter. "Did you invite me there for any particular reason?"

"I wanted you to enjoy a nice cup of coffee," Erwin put the cup down and rested his chin on top of his hands. His eyes stared at her, following the smallest of her moves. "And to talk with you. How is the case going?"

"Um..." Petra swallowed, feeling uneasy. "It's, um, going."

Erwin slightly raised his eyebrow, but didn't push the matter further.

“Levi asked for a day-off tomorrow,” he said. “Would you be able to hold on without him? I know you’ve just been promoted a—”

“No, it’s fine!” Petra assured him eagerly. Of course, the prospect of surviving the shift without her more experienced partner was a more than a little worrying. But after what she had seen today in the interrogation room, maybe, it was for the best if Levi spent some time at home.

"Speaking of Levi,” Erwin began. “Does he give you any trouble?"

"Of course, not!" Petra exclaimed with way too much vigor.

Erwin smirked, raising an eyebrow higher. "Is that really so?"

Petra deflated, casting her eyes down. "Detective Levi is a great professional and I—"

"Petra," Erwin cut her off. "Levi won't get in trouble with me, don't worry. I'm asking as his friend, not as his superior."

"As his friend..." Petra whispered.

"Yes," Erwin nodded. "So if there's something I should know, please tell me. God knows, Levi would never tell me if something bothered him."

"I..." Petra nervously tucked a stray lock of hair behind her ear. "I think you should take him off this case. It's clearly too personal for Levi."

"Hm, maybe, you're right," Erwin scratched his chin. "I knew that appointing him to this case would cause some problems..."

"Then why did you? Give him this case?"

Erwin shrugged. "I wanted to see his reaction. To see if he had truly moved on from Hange's death."

That was... that was heartless. But as she stared at Captain's face, she didn't see the cold calculation or simple indifference in his eyes. Only uncertainty and worry. Maybe, it was his weird way of caring about his friend.

"You knew from the beginning, right?" she asked quietly. "That this case would involve detective Zoe?"

"I had a feeling," Erwin agreed. "The murder happened in the same apartment complex she used to live in, after all. Hardly could be a coincidence."

Right... so that's why the witness had recognized Levi. Did he really share an apartment with his partner?

"Forgive my bluntness...” she cleared her throat, gathering all of her courage to maintain a direct eye contact with Captain. “But what was the nature of Levi and detective Zoe's relationship?"

"They were partners," Erwin answered, his jaw set. "In every possible sense of that word.”

“Oh,” if before Petra’s cheeks were rosy, now they turned almost crimson read. She felt stupid for asking such a personal question. Clearly, her partner wasn’t the only one, who was still affected by detective Zoe’s death. “I shouldn’t have asked, I’m so sorry…”

“It’s nothing,” Erwin waved her off. “Levi isn’t the most open of people, so I understand the desire to… get to know him better.”

Petra nodded, although Captain’s words didn’t really help her understand anything. It also didn’t really make Levi’s story any clearer. She still couldn’t piece together what kind of bound existed between Levi and detective Zoe. They clearly were much more than just colleagues. Definitely more than just friends, too. Maybe, they were dating? Or even married? There were many ways in which the world ‘partner’ could be interpreted. Maybe, that’s exactly why Captain Erwin used it.

"By the way, did you finish questioning the witness?" Erwin asked, bringing her back to the present.

"We did," Petra replied, avoiding his gaze. The recent incident in the interrogation room still hung heavily over her head.

"I assume it didn't go that well," Erwin noted.

Petra sighed. "The man that the witness described.... Didn't fit the description of Zeke Yeager."

Erwin covered his eyes with a hand. "So he really is pursuing that theory..." he glanced up at Petra. "What was the description given to you by the witness?"

"Um, according to him, the killer is a tall man with brown and curly hair."

"And what makes you think he described a killer?"

"Huh?"

Erwin straightened out. "Are you absolutely sure that the man that the witness saw was a killer?"

"He went with the victim to her apartment..."

"But we can't know for sure if he was the one to kill her," Erwin said resolutely. "Did the witness say how that man left the building?"

"He finished his shift earlier," Petra answered, feeling more and more confused with each passing moment. “Do you think that someone else killed her?”

“I’m not stating anything,” Erwin replied, evasive as always. “I’m just saying that you can’t be too sure in any of your theories until you actually get some evidence. It narrows your scope.”

“A-aha,” now Petra got it. “Once you eliminate the impossible, whatever remains must be the truth and all that, right?”

“Yes,” Erwin smiled widely. “Remember these words and you’ll do great at your job.”

“Thank you for the advice,” Petra smiled briefly, before furrowing her eyebrows. Something in Erwin’s words bothered her. Could it be that…

“Captain, do you… do you also think that it was Zeke Yeager, who killed that woman?”

Erwin didn’t answer immediately.

“I know it seems weird for you,” he began with self-deprecating smile. “And I know that Levi may seem like he’s obsessed with catching Zeke, and, maybe, he really is, but… You didn’t know Zeke. He was smart. Very smart. And he liked playing with people. I’m not saying that he’s alive, I’ve seen evidence that very much proved the opposite, but the fact that he’s somewhat involved in that murder is certain. The glasses belonged to Hange, and the blood was hers too. Who else could have gotten it? It’s either one of Zeke’s henchmen, maybe, someone, who seeks revenge for his death, or…” he trailed off, shrugging.

“But the description didn’t match!” Petra tried to argue.

“Wigs exist,” Erwin said simply.

Petra hanged her head. She wanted to protest, wanted to come up with some argument that would destroy this whole outlandish theory. Unfortunately, if Levi and Erwin kept overlooking one small fact that Zeke had died two years ago, she doubted there was anything that would be able to dissuade them.

“Oh, shoot!” Erwin suddenly exclaimed, glancing at his wrist watch. “I’m almost late to a very important meeting!” he got to his feet, gathering the papers on his desk. “Thank you for the company, Petra.”

“The pleasure was all mine,” she smiled prettily, even though her head was still reeling from their conversation.

“Good luck with your case,” Erwin said, as he followed Petra out of his office. “And look over Levi for me, okay? If anything happens, you know where to find me.”

He gave her one last smile and then hurried away. Petra stared at his wide back for a second, and then she pulled herself together, turning around and heading towards her office.

It was about time she got some actual work done.

To her surprise, when Petra had entered their office, it turned out that Levi wasn't there. She glanced to the side, his coat wasn't hanging on the clothes rack. However... his computer was on, the screen burning brightly in the otherwise dark room.

Petra couldn't take her eyes off that computer. She remembered her first day at work (it seemed almost surreal that it was only yesterday, it felt like weeks has passed) and how Levi was so focused on his computer, as though whatever was on his screen was the most important thing in the world. She remembered her desire to find out what was he working on.

She stepped further into the room, wondering where Levi was right now. He promised Moblit he'd visit the forensics department, maybe, he was there? But why would he need his coat for? And why didn't he turn off his computer?

Petra took another step, her eyes darting to the desk next to Levi's. Detective Zoe's desk. It was a little different than yesterday.

There was... There was a pair of glasses lying atop one of the reports. The same glasses they found on the scene of crime, Petra realized, as she saw a crack running through the left lens. But the blood was gone. Whoever cleaned them, did a real good job. Petra had a feeling she knew one particular person, who liked keeping things clean and tidy.

She felt a lump form inside her throat. Two years had passed, and Levi still didn't give up on her, hoping that one day she would come back. Petra couldn't decide if she should admire his loyalty or pity his naivety.

Either way, she hurriedly turned away from that desk. It made her feel melancholic and more than a little depressed.

If the glasses were there, it meant that Levi had already visited Moblit and his team. Where was he now? How much time did she have?

Glancing back, as if to check that Levi wasn't coming back this instant, Petra took a deep breath. And then she swiftly sat down at his desk.

Moving the cursor, she studied his desktop. There wasn’t much on it, just a few folders. She ignored the ones with the obvious contents – the ones named ‘cases’ and ‘reports’. Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion as she saw the folder with a name ‘that fucking asshole’, she almost clicked on it, but then she saw another folder. This one was named ‘Sannes’, and Petra’s breath hitched, as she remembered Levi asking her about him. Could it be… could it be that this folder contained some evidence? The one that could back up Levi’s claim about Sannes’ involvement with criminal underworld? Feeling her pulse fasten, Petra opened the folder.

Well, she tried to open it, because as soon as she clicked on the folder, a new tab opened, requesting a password.

She cursed.

Petra tipped her head back, thinking. What could a man like Levi use as his password?

She typed four zeros and then pressed enter.

‘The password is incorrect. Please try again.’

Of course, it was too naïve to hope that Levi would use something as generic as this. But Petra wasn’t going to give up so soon. She opened the first drawer of his desk, trying to find something that would give her some sort of idea. Petra grinned as she found the old driver license. It was expired, but in the corner Levi’s birth date was written.

Bingo.

She quickly wrote the numbers and pressed enter, her hands slightly trembling in anticipation of seeing what was inside that folder.

‘The password is incorrect. Please try again.’

Shit. Closing the first drawer, she opened the second. She rummaged through it for a couple of moments, but found nothing, except old autopsy and ballistic reports. Petra groaned – she was starting to get desperate. She closed the second drawer with more force than was necessary, opening the third one. The last one.

It was empty, except— Except an old, tattered photo. Three people were pictured there – Petra immediately recognized Captain Erwin and Levi, even though they looked much younger. A bespectacled woman stood between them, her hands wrapped around both of their shoulders. It must be detective Zoe, Petra guessed, looking at the woman’s wide grin. Detective Zoe wasn’t the only one smiling – there was a delighted beam on Captain Erwin’s lips as well, and even Levi, as weird as it looked, was wearing a small, but satisfied smile.

They looked so joyous here, so… so happy. And now one of them was dead, and two others suffered heavily because of that loss.

She turned the photo around. There was something written on the other side.

The only time, when your face didn’t look so constipated, shorty! Keep it as a reminder

“Shorty?” Petra gasped, rereading the small note again. She would never dare to call Levi like that. Most people probably wouldn’t. Hange Zoe was clearly an exception. And it was obvious that Levi took her advice of keeping the photo to heart, the picture looked worn out, as though it was frequently held and looked at.

Shaking head, she tried to regain her focus. She didn’t come here to go through Levi’s stuff. Well, technically, that was exactly what she was doing right now, but she really didn’t mean to pry into his personal life. She did it more than enough today. She needed to guess his password, and, unfortunately, that photo didn’t help her in the least.

But what if…

Biting her lip, Petra bent over the keyboard. She almost finished typing ‘HangeZoe’, when the door handle began to rattle.

Petra jumped in her seat, frantically closing the password window on the screen and hiding the photo back inside the drawer. She wasn’t quick enough to get to her feet, though, the door began to open, as Petra erratically tried to think of some excuse to explain, what she was doing behind Levi’s desk, but nothing was good enough. She could quite clearly picture his furious expression, she already wanted to start apologizing, but then the door was opened completely.

And Petra saw Oluo, standing on the threshold.

“Goddamn it!” she cried out, heart still thumping way too loudly inside her chest. “You scared the shit out of me!”

Oluo frowned. “I have never heard you curse before. And, by the way, isn’t that detective Ackerman’s desk?”

“What are you doing here?” she asked instead, ignoring his last question.

Oluo rolled his eyes arrogantly, all signs of his previous suspicion gone. Petra felt warmth spread through her chest at the sight of his annoying face. Never would she guess, but she missed Oluo terribly.

“Someone wants to see you,” he replied, leaning against the wall. “So finish whatever you were doing at detective Ackerman’s desk and let’s go.”

“Someone?” Petra blinked in surprise. “Who?”

“Djel Sannes,” Oluo told her with puffed out chest. He was clearly proud to receive a command from such important man. “Deputy police chief.”

The folder at Levi’s computer immediately appeared in Petra’s mind. She couldn’t open it and see, what his partner found so suspicious about that man. But, maybe, she could investigate it herself.

She got to her feet, adjusting her blouse and skirt.

“Let’s go then,” she joined Oluo at the doorstep. “Can’t make him wait, right?”

As they were walking through the precinct’s corridors, Oluo didn’t take his eyes off her even for a second.

“Do I have something on my face?” Petra snapped, feeling uneasy under his gaze.

Oluo hurriedly looked away, his cheeks reddening ever so slightly. “No, of course, you don’t.”

“Then what’s the matter? You’ve been staring at me like I’ve grown a second head or something.”

“You look just fine,” Oluo huffed, still refusing to meet her eyes. “It’s just… you’ve changed.”

“Changed?” Petra let out a surprised chuckle. “People don’t change over a day, dummy.”

“Maybe, change isn’t the right word then, but…” he scowled, annoyed with his inability to express himself clearly. “You carry yourself with more confidence now and at the same time… you look more troubled than I’ve ever seen you.”

Well, she wasn’t sure about her newfound confidence, she felt nothing of the sort, but troubled? That was a vast understatement.

“A lot of stuff happened over these two days.”

“Want to talk about it?”

Oluo’s soft voice caught her off-guard. Petra glanced at him. Oluo was looking back. There was no amusement in his eyes, and his usual smirk was absent as well. He genuinely wanted to help her, Petra realized with a start.

“Yes,” she answered him after a moment, “I would love to talk about it,” she paused, staring straight in Oluo’s eyes. “With you.”

“Oh,” Oluo stopped abruptly, nearly colliding with someone. Petra giggled into her palm. He looked so flabbergasted. To Oluo’s credit, however, it took him only a few seconds to regain his posture. “I k-know a place!” he exclaimed loudly. “I found a new restaurant near the precinct, the food is delicious and it’s really nice p—”

“Alright,” Petra cut him off, still chuckling. “Let’s visit it tomorrow evening. If that works for you?”

“O-of course!”

“Great,” she patted his shoulder, before leaning in to press her lips to his cheek. “Then it’s a date,” she whispered into Oluo’s ear, before walking away, leaving him to stare after her with a dazed smile on his face.

Petra turned the corner and there it was. The door to Djel Sannes’ office. It looked the same as all doors in precinct looked – a sturdy, wooden door. Nothing unusual about it, and yet— and yet Petra’s palms were sweaty. Her heart was beating faster than usual too. Logically, she knew there was nothing to be afraid of, it was just a visit to her superior’s office. She talked with Captain Erwin earlier, and it wasn’t nerve-wracking at all. She would even call it pleasant. And she wasn’t even sure, if there was something wrong with deputy police chief, she had never met him after all. The only thing she knew is that Levi didn’t trust him, but Levi also believed that people, who had died two years ago in the explosion, were alive. His opinion clearly wasn’t the most reliable.

She just needed to get a grip on herself. What had Oluo said to her? She carried herself with more confidence? Well, maybe, the time has come to prove it.

Petra took a deep, calming breath and raised her hand, knocking on the door.

“Come in!” came a deep, booming voice from the other side of the door.

Petra took another breath, and then. She walked in.

Deputy police chief’s office, as it turned out, wasn’t much different from Captain Erwin’s. It was a little bigger and his desk was a little fancier, but otherwise it was the same type of office every high-ranked policemen had.

Djel Sannes himself didn’t look as scary as Petra imagined. He looked kind of plain, actually. He was a middle aged man with wide shoulders, neat haircut and clean-shaved face. There were more than a hundred men like him in their precinct.

Petra’s heart rate slowed down a little.

“Detective Ral!” Sannes spread his hands in a welcoming gesture. “I was waiting for you!”

Petra put on a polite smile, sitting down on the opposite side of his desk. “It is an honor, sir. Do you wish to discuss something?”

“Just welcome you on your new position. You’ve been a detective for…”

“Two days,” Petra answered.

“Exactly!” Sannes snapped his fingers. “And we’re seeing each other only now,” he cocked his head to the side, looking at Petra. His expression was still easy, friendly, but his eyes became sharper. Colder. “You’ve been busy, I’ve heard.”

“We were appointed a new case tonight,” Petra nodded, pointedly ignoring the sudden change in Sannes. It was probably her nerves getting to her.

“Yes, a woman was murdered. Do you have any clue who had done it?”

“We are working on it.” Petra said with much more confidence than she actually felt.

“Good, good,” her false bravado had either gone unnoticed by Sannes, or he simply didn’t care enough to call her out on it. “And what about your partner? Detective Ackerman?”

“Um… what about him?”

“I know that man,” Sannes said offhandedly. “To put it mildly… he’s not the easiest person to deal with. Is he bothering you? If he is, don’t hesitate to tell me, I’ll appoint a new partner for you.”

“No, no,” Petra waved her hands. “Detective Ackerman is a very skilled detective. I like working with him.”

Sannes gave her a very skeptic look. “Is that really so? I find it hard to believe, actually.”

He reached over to the drawer, opening it and taking out a pack of cigarettes and a lighter. He lit a cigarette, inhaling deeply and sitting back in a chair.

“Do you smoke?” he asked Petra, offering her a cigarette.

She silently shook her head. Smoking inside the precinct was prohibited. But obviously Petra decided not to say it out loud.

“I should have fired that man a long time ago,” Sannes took another drag. “I would have done it, if Smith wasn’t so overprotective of him. He always had a soft spot for Ackerman. For him and that partner of his. Surely you’ve heard about her already?” he glanced at Petra, shaking out the ash into the ashtray. “Detective Hange Zoe,” the distain in his voice was so clear, Petra felt uncomfortable. “Between you and me, that woman got what she deserved. She was hot-headed and reckless, and in the end, that’s exactly what had gotten her killed.”

Petra wondered if Sannes had ever shared his thoughts on the matter with Levi. Sannes’ nose didn’t look like it was ever broken and Levi still worked as a detective, so she guessed they never had that particular conversation.

“But you’re not like them,” Sannes said. “You’re not a scheming bastard like Smith, you don’t put your nose where it doesn’t belong to like that Zoe did, and obviously you’re not a psychopath like Ackerman. I like you, Ral,” he grinned approvingly. “We should work together.”

“T-together?”

“Yes,” he nodded. “You help me and I help you.”

Petra honestly couldn’t believe her ears. So Levi was right after all. Although, she still had not even a hint of his connection to criminals, there was no doubt that Djel Sannes, deputy police chief, was a corrupt and malicious man. And it meant that Petra had to choose her words very, very carefully. She couldn’t let him know that she wasn’t on his side.

“And… what do you need my help with, sir?”

“Oh, not much,” Sannes put out his cigarette, the smug smile still present on his face. “Just keep an eye on your partner. If he does something suspicious… well,” he let out a small chuckle. “You know where to find me.”

“That I do,” Petra nodded with a smile she put on to mask her disgust. “Is that everything you’ve wanted to talk about?”

“Yes, that’s all,” he waved his hand carelessly. “You may go, but,” he gave Petra another careful look. “I’ll be expecting to hear from you, Ral.”

“Of course, sir,” she raised to her feet. “I’ll try not to disappoint.”

It was only when Petra was inside her office that she could finally breathe out in relief. With each passing hour, her life was getting more and more complicated. She would never expect deputy police chief to ask her to spy on her partner.

Speaking of which… where was Levi? She hadn’t seen him all day.

Petra’s eyes darted to his computer, but she quickly changed her mind. She had more than enough revelations for one day. She was tired to the bone, too. She glanced at the clock – it was already past six, which meant her shift was finally over.

Grabbing her bag and coat, Petra hurriedly left the precinct. She had a crazy day.

And something told her – tomorrow would be no better.

Interviewer: Congratulations on the new members of your family guys, how are you feeling?

Tom: I’m feeling awesome, but I’m no the one who gave birth so I’ll let y/n answer that one!

Y/n: I’m feeling great, thank you! I’m really excited, Tom and I, we both have waited for so long to meet our kids that it almost feels unreal to finally have them with us, they’re the most amazing thing that could’ve happen to us.

Interviewer: So guys, we have talked about your careers and how becoming parents have affected you both, but how does this new situation affect your relationship? This is something everyone has been dying to know for quite some time now, to be honest.

Tom: There’s been so much speculation about our relationship and we’re aware of that, I guess that before we never had the time or energy to talk about this, it’s true that we live very public life’s but at the same time there’s moments when we just want to keep things private for our own good, specially now that we have a family.

Y/n: We love each other so much, we even have kids together! But we’re not a couple, I now everyone has been wondering this. As much as we love each other we know that we work so much better like this, instead of putting a label to it. We have an amazing co-parenting relationship and I hope that this continues for the sake of our babies.

Interviewer: I see, so that means that your some type of friends with benefits that have kids together, right?

Both: *laughs* Right!

Y/n: Kinda like what Kyile and Travis had before they got back together. *laughs*

Interviewer: And you guys don’t think that this could affect you both once you decide that you want to start seeing other people?

Tom: We have talked about this a lot and we have come to an agreement, we just need to be honest with each other and there shouldn’t be a problem, if at some point y/n wants to start dating she’s free to do so and the same for me. If I start dating someone of course the dynamic of my relationship with y/n would change, but as long as my partner respects y/n as the mother of my kids I’m good.

Y/n: That’s right, as long as we’re honest about things we’re both okay with this. We have even talked about how would handle the situation now that we have babies and the truth is that I wouldn’t mind if Tom has a girlfriend and she spends time with twins, and viceversa, if I ever have a boyfriend Tom wouldn’t mind that our kids spend time with him. And the same goes for me, my relationship with Tom couldn’t be as it is right now, but something that I will always look for is someone that respects him as the father of my babies.

This is mostly me daydreaming off of your writing, but for that postcanon/domestic au thing you have, i always have a soft spot for it because while domestic AUs are nice, I’ve never read one that captured my feelings towards relationship dynamics and parenthood. I often read books/fics where the maternal parent (usually the mom) is the one who is emotionally attached to motherhood and kids. I’ve read so many stories where a mom will just abandon her personal goals for raising her kids, or starts out not wanting kids but the moment they’re born she does a 180. These stories are nice and I appreciate them, but i also dislike how 90% of the time this seems like the only possible outcome. The other 10% is used to show that a woman not being emotional about kids/motherhood = bad human being. I remember seeing a detective show where the bad guy was this woman who was stealing babies of homeless people and the “connection” for how she could do that was that she was cold tempered and gave up her own kid for adoption because she didn’t want to have kids. So like it’s full emotional motherhood or terrible parent, no in between. When i read your domestic AU i dont get that feeling all. Not only are L/H dynamics different to the stereotypical relationship dynamics but the way you portray their parenting makes me feel like my views are valid and that im not a bad person. When i tell people that im not cut out for parenthood, that im too selfish to put a baby before my work, people don’t believe me. They tell me I’ll change my mind once i have one of my own. The fact that most media supports this mindset makes me feel like im a bad person for feeling different. So seeing a hange who isn’t aware that she’s pregnant cause she’s so busy with her work, seeing one who struggles to be a provider when levi gets hurt is so refreshing man. I can’t really thank you enough for writing types these fics. In your recent one with the bad words, there was one line that stayed with me, something like “do you want me to make dinner/ no, i want you to spend time with Luke”. It’s probably just a throwaway dialogue line connecting the bigger themes you have, but for me that line meant a lot and i started to imagine scenarios where hange struggles to accept being a parent, struggles to connect emotionally to a being that not only can’t fully understand her but also doesn’t have patience to listen to her, shows affection through education over cuddling and such, etc. Babies can be a fun “science project”, but they’re not sitting patiently in a lab waiting for the scientist to figure them out, they’re bawling at 3 am for the 10th night in a row. I am sort of self projecting here, but it’s just nice to see something different for once. Lol, sorry for making this long, its hard to phrase things sometimes.

I'm gonna be completely honest. I didn't grow up with the most hands on mother or actually the most hands on parents in general so like 'Hange' parents were the type of parents I grew up with and 'Levi' parents are kinda the wish fulfillment for me, or the parents which I didn't have but when I stay in people's houses, when I watch my cousins, siblings or even my friends parent, those are the type of parenting methods I swoon over.

My parents were the type of people who birthed us and just went straight to work after. Like 'what is a maternal leave/paternal leave' levels of dedicated to their work.

Most people would probably think my parents weren't caring or a lot of people tend to treat that as 'bad.' I see the other way around too where when people choose to stay at home and raise kids and other people say 'don't you wanna have a life' like choosing to dedicating your life to kids is also a bad thing lmao.

Regardless of what you do, there will be people who criticize parenting methods anyway lmao. Like yeah, my parents were major workaholics, not very hands on but I think as kids, we all turned out fine.

I mean my parents weren't horrible people either. They are very reasonable people. They approach all conflict calmly. They rarely cry, get mad. And when something bad happens, they sit down and just discuss it and how to solve it calmly lmao. And they were amazing providers.

So like, I never actually saw the 'Hange' parenting or even the 'Levi' parenting thing which I write out as a bad thing?? Parenting is parenting? Parents are constantly trying to raise their 'mini mes' while trying to have a life at the same time.

As long as the parents aren't completely assholes and they do shit within reason and they try to learn from their mistakes, I don't think parents can be considered 'bad?'

Just thinking about Javier and Morga's dynamic along with your insight to her being weirded out by her son seeing someone around her age/not too far apart in age.

If Lucio is in his early forties, Morga must've been young when she gave birth to him, maybe her late teens to twenty years old since this is a tribe we're talking about.

So she's at the most in her mid to late sixties.

Javier meeting Lucio's "died from a disease in her forties" mother, to Morga kinda getting over this the weirdness of it all once she sees how much Javi cares for her son ("I refuse to call you my son-in-law").

Before starting Dynamight Studios, he was an apprentice for Best Jeanist for several years. His mentor was a lot more artsy than he was, but Bakugou respects legends in their own right. Plus it gave him a chance to experiment with things to find out that he does, in fact, only like to do what he wants to do 😪

But Jeanist gave him a ton of experience and brought him along to plenty of conventions, domestic and international, so his time as an apprentice is irreplaceable. They still talk and Bakugou visits every once in a while.

Reader apprenticed with Hawks, which honestly gave her a bit of a headache. He’s a super talented tattoo artist but his work style is kind of overwhelming. She learned a lot from him, that’s for sure, but the way he would just make her crank out dozens of sketches a day was not sustainable for her. It did force her to think out of the box a lot though, which is what eventually birthed her new personal style

She now works at a relatively popular tattoo shop she started with another tattoo artist friend, but she takes jobs from a lot of people and places. Sometimes, she even gets a client referred to by her old mentor, whom she visits every so often with food.

About Red Riot Bar:

It’s a pretty spacious place, with mostly low rise coffee tables and stools so that you don’t feel like you’re being obstructed when you talk to others by tall furniture. If there are tall tables, they’re off to the side/the bar itself

There are arcade games set up one side of the bar, like pinball, darts, Pac-Man, etc. Opposite the pool table. and the walls are decorated with all of kirishima’s favorite art, bands, and inspirations (esp crimson riot, his favorite tv show character. He’s still waiting for the day that the actor shows up to his bar so he can put a framed photo on the walls)

It’s a chill place, where the music is good but not too loud and everyone can feel at ease. It’s on a street that’s pretty popular and busy with restaurants and other izakayas, so he’s got competition. But the ones who do come in and stick around are exactly the type of clientele he prefers for his bar

Was talking to @tonystonem about this but if you happened to stop by his bar a few times casually after work or smth, he would probably remember you since he’s pretty friendly with all his customers and likes to get to know people

And bouncing off of that, if you happen to catch his eye, then maybe he’d crank up the flirting a bit. Or get a little nosy when you bring a guy friend/acquaintance along with you one day

Obviously, jirou and yaomomo are in a band together, along with some other friends. (Although yaomomo still has a part time day job working for her family’s business) They play for a lot of different live music places and sometimes get booked for touring artists or events.

Their first big gig was given to them by popular radio host and producer present mic, at a music festival. They’re working with him occasionally on an EP, but they’re putting a lot of care into the project so it’s taking a bit longer than expected. But it’s gonna be so good and kirishima is definitely gonna stream it nonstop in his bar when it comes out

Kaminari knows everyone and everything in the city lmao. Everyone wonders if he actually has a job bc he’s always just out socializing and partying and having a good time. He does have a job tho! He’s like a recruiter for his company, so he has to go out and find new clients or workers all the time but that usually involves inviting them out for a casual hangout first to throw his pitches. It’s not always successful but he makes a lot of friends out of it. More than he can handle/remember sometimes lol

WandaVision au! Newsies Part 2

There aren’t much for me to explain here but I am working on the main bases of each episode/part in the show and that will honestly have more to it then this.

But besides that, I have made a list of the character with small details of each character and some actual backstories to them as well!

Katherine Plumber

A lil backstory: Katherine doesn’t really remember much about her childhood; just that her mother died young and her father wasn’t the best father so she decided to go off on her own at 17 and try to make a life of her own. She had no clue she had the power to move things with her mind and read others minds until she left her house. And then, all the voices filled her head. Beside one person and that person is none other than Jack Kelly. 

Lost Jack when he went to work and the building was under attack 

But he left after they had a big argument so it wasn’t on a good note

Didn’t find out about the incident till it was too late, and finding out that Snyder had his body 

Not as upset about it as people think 

Once she leaved snyder, she just drives around until she finds his sketch book in the back seat of the car

She gets home and cue mental breakdown and BOOM the whole town is now in sitcoms

And she is somehow able to bring Jack back 

Thanks to all the grief and her obsession with sitcoms when she was younger, she made this town go through various sitcoms as it goes through the decades

At the same time, she and Jack end up having a child. Twins actually 

Jack Kelly

A lil Backstory: he has thought he was a normal human orphan boy until he was 18 and finally able to leave the lodge house, where he had been staying for what seemed to be his whole life. But when he meets the love of his life,Katherine, she senses something wrong and as they get to know each other, he gets to figure out things about himself. A lil backstory: He’s a bad man. Bad bad man and he just doesn’t want to have to deal with the kids at the lodge (since he also has a better job as the director at S.W.O.R.D. but only after Davey left for his “break”). So he decided to get something to help and that something ended up being Jack Kelly. Someone built Jack Kelly for Snyder but he lost him when Jack turned 18 and left. Ever since then he has been on a hunt for him. 

Has been wanting Jack back ever since he Jack left the lodge at 18. The place had gone haywire 

Joe/ Joseph Pulitzer 

A lil backstory: Had been married to Katherine “Kate” for years and when Kate had a child, she was beyond excited. But joseph wasnt. Not long after the birth did Kate end up dying so Joseph was left alone to raise his daughter, Katherine,(Yes, she named after her mother). Since he didn’t care too much about her, he just kinda let grow herself up or let some work friends watch her. One work friend was a scientist who did some slight experiments on her. Which gave her the powers to move things with her mind and read minds. But Joseph didn’t like the idea so they found a way to keep her powers under control while she was in her house, until she ran away. 

Ever since, he had been after her. Which brought him into getting into that town.

Katherine and Jack’s next door neighbor whose wife,Kate, tends to pop in at the best times

The scientist gave Joseph some powers as well but he didn’t come out as powerful as his own daughter, which is also why he’s after her

He liked the feeling of the powers and wants to absorb hers so he can be more powerful

A lil backstory: His mother and father both started S.W.O.R.D in hopes of helping out the world and everything and then they passed onto their kids, Davey and Les, when they passed. But not long after the two got put in charge did Les end up getting shot and bleeding out. So he left S.W.O.R.D and (although he hated it) Snyder in charge. It wasn’t until 3 years later and the town disappearing did he come back to help.

Only really slightly knows Katherine and Jack but was sent to meet up with Agent DaSilva about a missing person 

Then he gets pulled into the town and put into the little fasle life Katherine had created

Until Katherine catches on to Davey not being “of this area” she sends him right out and back to S.W.O.R.D. waiting outside the barriers. 

Dr. Medda Larkins

A lil backstory: She was always seen as a quiet and timid woman or wanted to get her doctorate in college but no one believed her. 

She was invited to come help by Agent DaSilva 

She was the only to figure out the wavelengths were from an old tv and everything

Monster Maze High Creation (Resumed)

Warning The story is kinda chaotic

Stratos, Betrayus and Their older Sister (I'll call her Santana because lmao)

When Betrayus born, Conde Spheros died by a mysterious accident (rumored as a murdering) for it Rotunda and Stratos treated Betrayus as the black sheep, something that Santana disliked a lot so for it she gave all her attention to Betrayus also having to bear with Rotunda's bad mood.

Years Later Santana got tired of the mistreating of her own mother so she decided to escape with Betrayus, also in that moment Stratos finally noticed Rotunda's bullshit so he apologized with Betrayus and Santana

So The siblings escaped from their rotten mother to a explore the world, in a certain point Santana decided to follow her own way, something Betrayus approved, that's where Santana leaves them trusting that both can take care very well of eachother.

Meanwhile the Spheros Brothers, Stratos 21 years and Betrayus 18, they started a tour around the world, their First parade was in Canada in a train station where Betrayus meet a depressed Muriel (18 years) cause she escaped from her Home in Pac Arctic because of a fight with her Father, Betrayus offered her his friendship even when Stratos wasn't agree with it. Animal Monsters were considered and used as slaves, butlers and/or servants/maids, that includes the Jackalopes, and Stratos was raised with Racist and Homophofic thoughts something that bothered a lot Betrayus because he is LGBT.

So Muriel joined the brothers to their travel around the world. Their next parade was in the Vegas where they meet Specter (19 years) wich was working as a waiter in a bar (he wasn't enyoing his job at all), then Betrayus and Muriel started a mess in the Bar, Specter was impresed so they asked them to join them and Both Accepted, and Stratos was Just accepting that cause he had no choice, he wanted his Brother happy after all.

Their next parade was in France where they were with lack of money so the Chaotic trio's idea was... Yeah became strippers (Stratos was so fucking dissapointed but with no choice Just wait for them XD) (After that, Betrayus is not able to have a serious amorous relationship with anyone because he can be considered unloyal, he prefers open and/or Free relationships).

Their next parade was in Mexico, where they meet Roxy and became good friends, except Stratos which was just being a Boring boomer. they stayed in Mexicofor 4 months because they loved the culture and activities as well with other countries of latin america

They tour ended when a bat From Rotunda gave Stratos a Letter From Her, so the 4 went to the mansion (Muriel already had 9 months of pregnancy), the brothers we're to Rotunda's Room. Rotunda gave the Brothers her Apologies and the mansion, after some tears she died and Muriel started her Birth.

After some little hours the Twins have born and Betrayus was so happy of his babies as well as Specter, while Stratos was crying by her mom's death.

(Kinda poetic, One life fades out, one life fades in).

2 days later, Stratos had the idea of Creating a School for Monsters Because of all the things he learned in the tour, all the creatures he knew, and cultures he saw.

The creatures wich Stratos meet while the Chaotic trio was making their mess went to the Mansion to help him to start the project, the project taked almost 10 years but they finally did it.

In all that timelapse Betrayus was exploring any place, looking for creatures to take them to the Mansion to keep them safe. The creatures he found were: Skeebo, Blinky and Inky (Both in the same Day), years later he taked Pinky and Clyde.

Trivia:

-Betrayus is an appassionate investigator who is writing in secret a Big encyclopedia (Monsterpedia) about creatures in their real nature without the stereotypes of other monsters, No one knows about his project except Muriel and Twin children.

-Stratos can be sightly retrograde and homophobic.

-The Brothers are still in contact with their sister.

-Every final week or vacation seasons Santana sends their children to visit their uncles

- (Also something writted from Monsterpedia) Vampires can became stronger by drinking other big creatures and humans blood, becoming them into High graded Vampires. This Vampires can have an advanced super strength (Example: he can decapite a human with a single punch like cutting a butter piece) If the blood belongs to someone bad, the strength is bigger at drinking all that bad Vibes. This Vampires rarely are aggressive but they can be sadists.

- Taking in count what i said in the previous text, Stratos doesn't know that about vampires but Betrayus do. so yes Betrayus is a High graded Vampire because he drank blood from many creatures, specially Humans.

-Someone who shares that state with Betrayus is Mitzy and Bradley, but more Mitzy, she is a Blood lover.

- For Betrayus, Humanity are like bugs, insignificant but some with their charm.

- This Au was obviously inspired by Monster High (the show and their movies) but more centred In comedy and a humor similar to Drawn Together (in the case of the Adults) and Loud Mouth (in the case of the teenagers).

PokeV3 AU – Boys!

Rantaro

Flying Type

His theme is loosely based on travel.

He got delibird because he canonly likes to bring back souvenirs. Mantyke was his first pokemon and hes been using it to travel around on the water. The rest he got just by traveling to different parts of the world.

Rantaro is a traveler for sure, but when he finally settles down I imagine he would become a pokemon breeder and he studies for that while traveling.

His family is different than canon so heres some info on them too:

His dad is like a green haired Saxton Hale. Used to adventure a lot but then settled and became a business man, and a surprisingly good one at that. He owns the poke center chain and a certain mansion where he let's people visit and battle the staff for fun. Absolutely loves the fact that his son is adventurous like he was and will pay for whatever he needs. Not worried about Rantaro because he turned out all right, so why wouldn't his son? Adventure runs in his veins haha! He's just a happy go lucky guy that really loves his kids and supports them.

His mom is VERY worried about Rantaro in stark contrast to her husband, and gets mad that her husband is so carefree about their own child. She waits impatiently for the day Rantaro finally settles down so she doesn't have to worry anymore. Very doting and cute!

His sisters arent lost, they're the poke center nurses!

Ryoma

Fighting Type

His theme is competition and teamwork!

Ryoma used to be one of the youngest people in the elite four until his pokemon got stolen by the antagonist team. He barely made it out alive, but lost his pokemon and hasn't been the same since.

Would only adventure if someone gave him hope that he could find them again. The adventure ends when he finds them all because he'll want to go back home and settle down now that he's finally got them back.

He wouldn't necessarily get back into the elite four after finding them because he's just not as enthusiastic as he used to be about fighting, but he would probably become someone that gives advice to young trainers around his town.

He used to be super famous when he was in the elite four, and everyone knew him for his competitive spirit and his good sportsmanship. Lots of people still remember him and wonder what happened to make him quit so suddenly.

While he's still missing his pokemon he would hate it when people would be like "omg weren't you in the elite four?!?!" but when he gets them back he just kinda cracks half a smile and chuckles, not really answering but also not saying no.

Korekiyo

Ghost Type

His theme is ancient culture to absolutely no one's surprise.

Frosslass was given to him by his sister. He found golett, yamask, and duskull in different archeological digs that he visited. Banette and misdreavus just took a liking to him, so they joined up with him. He's surprisingly really good with ghosts types? They just like him for some reason...

Korekiyo is an anthropologist like in canon.

His sister is alive but she's really frail after her health took a dramatic turn and has to stay home instead of exploring like she used to. She was super into ice type pokemon, but cant go catch them because her body can't handle the weather anymore.

Kork wants to show his sister the world she cant go out and see anymore and so he travels and brings back souvenirs and pictures for her. She's a little sad she can't go with him, but tries to keep her spirits up despite not being able to fulfill her dream and supports her little brother's dream instead. She's still getting used to the thought of not being able to adventure like she used to.

She was a kinda famous ice type trainer that was about to make it big before her health started failing.

Her health problem is hereditary and her mother died from it when Korekiyo was born because her body couldnt handle the illness and giving birth to Korekiyo at the same time. She won't die as long as she's careful, which includes not going into cold areas and not engaging in strenuous activity. Only the girls in the family get it, and no one really knows what it is.

They dont know where their dad went, but he left after their mother died because he couldn't stand the grief.

Gonta

Bug Type

Fun bug fact: he somehow managed to accidentally catch all the bug types people that freak people out (spider, centipede, wasp/bee hybrid, bugs with pinschers, the parasite one, etc). People have run away from battles with him before and he feels bad about it but cant figure out why they ran.

Gonta doesn't really battle so much as he goes looking for new bug type pokemon. Really enthusiastic about bug types and helps his professor by giving him all the field notes he writes.

Oddly doesn't seem to have any parents? The professor has basically adopted him at this point and they don't talk about it.

Kaito

Dragon Type

His theme is any pokemon he thinks is cool.

Kaito wants to be the champion and if he calls someone his sidekick it means he wants to have them be in his elite four.

He has a penchant for doing things he thinks other people would find cool. Probably has a fucking cape and sunglasses. Wants what Leon has so fucking badly but ends up looking like an egomaniac and a try hard on accident. Totally lies about his adventures to try and look cooler to people, but little does he know that no one ever believes him.

Hasn't actually traveled much despite what he may tell you, but you could get him to tag along as long as there are no ghost types involved. He's scared of them.

Hates cold weather.

Kokichi

Ghost Type

His theme was childish looking pokemon, but then they evolved so it's mischievous pokemon with cool and spooky lore

If the dex entry mentions anything about children, odds are he's caught it already. He's a magnet to those types of ghost pokemon for some reason.

The way he caught his drifloon was cuz it thought he was a little kid and tried to steal him lmao

Kokichi "haunts" (read: terrorizes the townsfolk of) whatever place he's at until he gets bored, then he goes to a new place and starts again. He's another one that oddly doesn't seem to have parents.

He gets excited by adventure and challenges, but I dont think he would leave his country unless he had people he really cares about ask him to go with them, and he'd only go because he doesn't want them to leave him. He'd eventually come around to the idea of traveling and really enjoy it, you just have to give him some time to adjust.

Kokichi in this AU gets really attached to places/things/people that leave an impression on him and doesn't wanna let them go kinda like how ghosts possess places and things and dont want to leave until they get exorcised or find closure. Luckily for Kokichi he "definitely doesn't" let himself get attached to things anymore. I wonder why...?

His tragic backstory is that he's always had an affinity to ghost types and that freaked everyone out so they basically cast him out when he was younger and he's lowkey traumatized by it. Was kinda raised by ghost types in an abandoned, haunted mansion after that because they liked him a lot. Raised in that place but eventually forced to leave because it was so decrepit that it finally collapsed.

Once he meets someone he likes who actually likes him too, he sticks to them like glue and doesn't let go. So much for not getting attached.

Scared of bug types.

Likes Falinks and Pawniard even though they're not ghost types.

Kiibo

Electric/Steel Types

Kiibo is human in this AU. He's a technology enthusiast and a huge fan of Miu's work.

Knows a lot about pokemon like Shuichi and would absolutely geek out with him, but his interest is mostly directed towards steel and electric pokemon rather than all of them, unlike Shuichi's interest in ALL pokemon.

Heir to his father's tech company and that's how he met Miu; she works for his dad. They're really good friends and have been for years.

Magearna has been passed down through his family.

Shuichi

Psychic Type

Shuichi is a pokemon fanatic and is probably in a pokemon fan club.

Studies all day about everything from type matchups to berries but gets overwhelmed and forgets everything he's learned until he really gets into the battle.

Not bad at battling when he's not overwhelmed.

He's good to have around because he's basically a walking wiki page.

He has a knack for finding pokemon and his life goal is probably to try and discover new species or types of pokemon.

His uncle is a detective and he still lives with him like in canon. He's tracks down lost pokemon more than anything though because those are the only cases he really enjoys working on. I imagine he would be like a lost pet/pokemon detective when he's older because that's his specialty.

Solved a big case involving the antagonist team when he was younger and wears a hat to hide his face so they don't recognize him and try to get revenge. Really, really hopes that it will eventually blow over.

He would be nervous about traveling very far, but looking on the bright side of things he gets a change in pace, some new experiences, a chance to avoid the antagonist team, and new friends. He would accept for those reasons, but he would only go with someone he trusts.
