just finished season 2. feeling like this rn

sydcarmy and other ramblings below:

i say this with peace and love, but carmy was slightly Unbearable this season. it felt like he was dismissing sydney at literally every single turn he could. and i Really want to like claire bc she seems super nice, like there isn't anything to hate about her specifically, but the writing almost makes it impossible to like her. bc if carmy isn't ditching syd for her, he's just completely distracted, and it was slightly infuriating to watch (said with peace and love <3)

anyways. i'm a little bit nervous for season 3 because i've heard it doesn't quite live up to ppl's expectations, but i'm super looking forward to ayo's episode!!!!

No. Or at least not intentionally.

I think he could go three ways. The 1st route would be an Anarka 2.0. We have no doubt that Anarka loves her children, but I think she takes the no rules thing to an extreme. I fully believe she was the child of strict or rich or both parents and swore to never be like them, so when she had her own children, she decided she would have no rules. This could be fine, but in other ways, it makes for an unstable household. We've seen how the kids have been affected by her no rules behavior, which did lead to her akumatization. I've said it before, but I genuinely don't think Juleka or Luka would express if they wanted the house a little cleaner and less cluttered because they don't want to upset their mom. We just don't know, like I don't doubt she's a good mom and would be there with advice or even punishment if the situation needed it. I mean, for all we know, they do have small rules here and there, but from what we glimpse that doesn't seem so.

2nd scenario is that he becomes just like his dad. In this case, he might start to emotionally abuse the child just like his dad did him. Again, I don't think he would do it intentionally. I just think if he went this route, he would be following in the generational trauma route.

3rd scenario is a mix of both households, and this would be the most stable and the one where I don't think he would. In this case, I see him going to therapy and healing.

Though there is one thing I think he would do in all scenarios, as this is a character trait we see, he would be a gaslighter. Once more, not intentionally, but we already see him do this on more than one occasion, and I genuinely don't think it would stop unless someone called him out on it and he genuinely listened.

Then everything was just saturated in Everlark and i got so tired of seeing it and now i kinda dislike it

it’s crazy how absolutely blatantly luigi’s constitutional rights are being breached and people seem more concerned about his appearance than a real, scary view of the power CEOs and the healthcare industry have over the legal system. like yeah he looks good in those photos i can appreciate that too but can we focus on the fact that the media is absolutely treating him as if he has already been found guilty. this could happen to anyone. anyone could be arrested over the death of a wealthy, influential person and the precedent being set right now is essentially that the prosecution can run wild and create documentaries declaring your guilt. like that’s really serious and scary.
