“Ok, so, dinner’s in the fridge, as well as formula for Violet. James normally goes to bed at 8, but I told him he can stay up later if he wants.” 

You explained, as you flitted around the kitchen with a list in one hand and a clutch in the other. Your brother followed after you with an attentive expression on his face. 

Tonight was you and Luke’s first date night since Violet was born, and you had been looking forward to it for weeks. You’d spent the last two hours getting ready, and now it was just a matter of making sure everything was prepared for your favourite babysitter, Percy. 

You stood at the door, peering down at the list while you husband sat on the stairs, tying his shoelaces. 

“Honey, did I forget anything?”

“Hm, did you tell him about the thermostat?”

“Oh, shit yeah.” You turned to Percy, “The thermostat is broken, so if you need to turn on the radiators or anything you’ll have to do it by hand, but I mean, it’s summer so you shouldn’t need to.” 

“Ok cool. Sounds good.” 

“Alright. I think that’s everything. You have a good night, and call if you need anything or have any questions-!”

You were about to go on another spiel about caring for your youngest daughter's specific needs when your husband swept an arm around your waist and practically dragged you out of the apartment. 

“Thanks man, see you at 11!” Luke shouted, giving Percy a quick thumbs up before shutting the door behind you both. 

“Why’d you push me out!” You asked as you both began making your way down the stairs.

“Coz you need to trust your little brother and relax. He’s a good guy.” 

“I know that.” You pouted, “But I also know that he can be a bit scatterbrained sometimes, the boy needs detailed instructions.”

“That’s exactly my point babe. He’s not a boy anymore.”

“God don’t remind me. It makes me feel old.” 

“Sorry. You're not old. Now, stop stressing about Percy and enjoy the date night you incredible husband has so kindly planned out.”

You giggled lightly, rolling your eyes, but agreeing nonetheless.

The date went perfectly, and you were back by 10. When you walked inside the house, you were pleasantly surprised to see that it was still standing, and your son hadn’t managed to cause a mess while you were gone like he usually did. 

Luke went up to check on Violet, meanwhile you made your way into the living room, where you could still hear the low hum of the TV in the background. 

In the room, you could see your brother, and your son curled up on the sofa, both of them fast asleep, and snoring slightly. On the TV Cars were playing (James’ favourite), and on the table there were a few mostly empty bowls of snacks. 

You laughed quietly, remembering the movie nights you and Percy had had all those years ago. 

After you left Camp half blood to go to college, he’d come over to your house a few times during the school year, in which you’d have movie marathons, pillow fights, and intense mario kart competitions. 

It’d always end the same, with the both of you passing out on the couch at 2 in the morning, cheeto dust covering your fingers and popcorn kernels all over the floor. 

They were some of your favourite times with your half-brother, when you could forget the worry of getting killed by monsters or the like, and have fun with your only sibling. 

“Hey, Perce.” You whispered, shaking him slightly. It didn’t take much to wake him, and soon his eyes were fluttering open. 

“Oh, Y/N. You’re back already?” 

“Yeah, it’s 11:30.”

“Really?!” He asked, loudly, and you quickly shushed him, pointing to the sleeping child beside him. 

Percy slapped his hand over his mouth, mumbling apologies. You rolled your eyes at him, helping the man off the sofa and leading him out of the living room and towards the spare bedroom (aka Luke’s office).

“You can stay here tonight if you want? It’s pretty late.” 

Your statement was confirmed by a loud yawn from Percy, to which he begrudgingly nodded. 

You directed him to sit in the nearby armchair whilst you grabbed the sheets from the cupboard and began to make up the bed for him. 

“How was James?” 

“We had a great time. He’s a good kid y’know?”

“Yeah.”

“It reminds me of our old movie nights.” He said, his voice slightly wistful. He had always been so sentimental, just like you. 

“Funny. I was thinking the same thing.” 

“Do you remember that time we got snowed in?” He asked, laughing lightly at the memory. 

“Of course! And the snow was so high the pizza delivery man had to climb in through the window!”

You both erupted into fits of giggles and you had to pause in your bed-making to finish laughing. 

“I really appreciate everything you did for me, Y/N.” He declared suddenly, staring off into space. 

“I didn’t do that much Perce. You give me too much credit.” 

“No, I really mean it. You did your best to give me a normal childhood, and looked after me like I was your real brother.” 

You frowned, “You are my real brother. Just like James is your real nephew. And I helped you because you were a good kid who deserved it. You earned the life you have now. We all did.” 

He broke into a bright grin at that, standing up from the armchair to give you a big hug. You could still remember when he was so much smaller than you, just a kid. Now he was an adult, and taller than you (although that mop of curly hair gave him some extra height). Still, despite how tall he got, you were certain he’d always be your little brother.

“Thanks Y/N.”

“No problem kid.”

the gang is so thankful that you can patch them up too. they sometimes fight over who you’re gonna help next.

ponyboy’s just happy he has a mother figure in his life again. his mom was definitely his favourite parent, so now that he has someone to replicate that, he’s on the moon.

he only calls you mom or ma in private, he’s too embarrassed to say it with others in the room.

BUT, he definitely lets the mom calling slip accidentally infront of the gang.

“mom, do you need help with the dishes?”

“MOM?!”

pony just looks down in embarrassment until you chuckle and agree to him helping you. then he’s all smiles and sunshine!

darry is so happy to see this you don’t get it.

darry asks for advice from you to get to know ponyboy better since he rambles on and on about whatever he’s most interested in at the time.

“oh! he really likes ‘gone with the wind’, i know you don’t have much time to read so, i can just tell you the important stuff!”

he just nods and stares at you as you talk about the characters, the main plot, and the small details ponyboy’s obsessed with.

he’s taking mental notes and thanking you heavily when you’re finished talking!

he’s giggling and blushing at the last sentence

but he listens, he doesn’t do whatever he did for awhile.

his mom used to scold dallas like that, so seeing you do the same brought back good memories for him.

being around you just reminds him of the ‘good old days’ so when he’s around you his mood immediately lifts.

like he could be yelling at ponyboy to raise his grades and you could walk in and darry would go “AND STUDY MO- oh hey babyyy!!☺️☺️”

he sometimes just snatches you while you’re talking to someone in the curtis house.

like you could be talking to sodapop and he’ll come behind you and grab you by the waist and carry you into his room.

all that while soda chases him down, yelling nonsense.

The ship was quiet and peaceful. The engines hummed gently, barely heard at the head of said vessel speeding through space. You were contently lying the wrong way in Vic’s chair; legs over the armrest, back to the other side. In your hand was a book, one you’ve recently picked up on your return trip back to earth. There were a few more stacked in the shared room. At this point, you were needing shelves or a bookcase to keep them. They’ve taken over a small portion of the wall inside of the bedroom. Close by, within rolling over distances when lying down.

Nothing disturbed you as you sat in the second empty seat, considered to be Vic’tao’s chair. From what you remember, this ship originally was Uihoy’s. That makes Vic the co-pilot in this case. Elder’s usually get better things, which is why they use this ship more than Vic’s.

As you think about, eyes just staring at the pages, you’ve never been on Vic’s ship. Just this one. Now, you wanted to go visit it, see the differences between the two. You’ll have to ask him whenever he decides to come annoy you.

Your eyes refocused on the book, flipping the page you were on. Ironically, it’s a romance. It still made you squeal when the main characters have fluffy moments with each other. Those scenes remind you the life you currently have with your two alien boyfriends. They were definitely different than what you’ve experienced before. You weren’t complaining though. You loved them.

The doors to the cockpit slide open, revealing a knowing blue and yellow Yautja. You smiled at him in a silently greeting before returning to your book. An interesting scene started with said two characters. How could you miss that?

Two clawed, large feet enter the edge of your vision. They stopped when two thickly corded thighs brushed against the chair’s armrest. As much as you wanted to give the male attention, you kept your eyes glued to the book. A wide, grin on your face with a hint of a blush.

“Off,” Vic’tao snarked, voice harsher than you ever heard before. Your head jerked back before looking up to stare at the Yautja. What in the world? It’s not that you were scared, just stunned. You cocked your head at him, brows furrowed. “Get. Off.” This time, you rolled your eyes and went back to reading.

Uihoy has told you about these moods Vic sometimes gets in. It’s best to just ignore instead of feeding into them.

A hand entered your vision and rested on the top of the back of his chair. Still no reaction out of you. He growled. Finally, “What crawled up your ass and died?” were the first words to come out of your mouth.

Out of the two of them, Vic was a bit more head strong, being the younger of the two. He had that slight young blood vibe to him as Uihoy has told you. He liked to show off his strength to seduce and please. It worked a lot of the time. There wasn’t a way to resist him like that. Plus, it fed his ego, something you weren’t opposed to.

From what you could hear, that made Vic’tao jerk his head back, tresses slapping against his back chest. Then, Vic leaned down so you could feel his hot breath roll over you. Still, your eyes were on the book in hand. “Get out. Of. My chair,” he demanded of you again. You scoffed with a roll of your eyes. He snarled at this, getting closer to you. So close that heat he produced could be felt as well.

“Finder’s keepers, loser weepers,” you snarked at him, returning the same about of energy. You really shouldn’t be entertaining him while he acted this way. But who cares? It doesn’t hurt to return the same energy. In your mind, he deserved it right now. Be a butt, get attitude back.

With a roll of your eyes, you flipped the page in your book again. “What’s your problem anyhow? Who pissed in your cereal this morning?” You know he wouldn’t understand that annogly, you  didn’t care at that moment.

His hand clenched the back of the chair, arm shaking underneath the strain. “You are my problem, soft-meat. Get out now!” he shouted, his other hand came up to pinch your chin.

Now, your eyes were on him, watching him carefully. You knew from your soul he would never, ever hurt you if you didn’t want him to. This was all an act. He was trying to get you to submit, similar to a female of his kind.

The two of you stared at each other, sizing the other up. You were but not for a fight. That’s a losing battle before it even started. No, this was for seeing how to defeat him in another way. Not that was an easy to do when it’s him. Then, a smirk graced your face. Vic raised a brow, head cocking just a hair to the side.

You leaned closer to him, nose to his inner, upper mouth. Vic’s strong, brilliant eyes bored into yours, seeing every move you made. “Yo mama,” you stated then slipped off of the chair and out of his hold and chair.

Vic didn’t move as you walked away, a skip in your step. In your hand was the book, you were going to go find a different spot to read in. Uihoy might be happy to have you around while he works away. You kept that childish smirk on your face while the cockpit door slid back.

so dot is the most obvious choice. there is no universe in which she is not autistic to me. this is one of my strongest dot headcanons actually and one of the main reasons i enjoy her as a character. there are so many reasons for this i could go on endlessly but i'll just list a few big ones here

her extreme passion for her interests at a disregard for almost everything else & her ability to self teach those topics (not to mention her interests have to do with computing)

her difficulties with food overlap a lot with food sensitivities autistic people often have, also her latching onto donuts as a sort of samefood after finally trying them once

the tendency to wear loose, comfortable clothes and more recently she has complained while wearing tighter clothes (the orange academy school uniform) so it's not just that she prefers loose fabric, she also is put off by the alternative. girl your sensory problems

irritable outbursts when struggling to articulate herself/make herself understood

her connection with kanuchan (tinkatink) felt really neurodivergent to me. she wasn't offput by her behavior, even after stealing her prop mic, and was immediately able to understand her when no one else could or was willing to. not sure how to articulate this one right now but i hope you see what i mean

her tendency to sit cross legged and lean over herself reminds me a lot of my personal autistic tendency to need a pressure/weighted feeling while i sit or have body parts touching

social exhaustion, the need to be alone sometimes even when she cares

the list genuinely goes on i have to stop myself LOL

as for other characters,

so for liko i'm more loose about the headcanon, it's definitely more of me projecting than her being overtly autistic in canon but i still think it lines up if u wanna view her that way. i'm autistic and i personally relate to liko a lot becauseee

she is giving hyperempathy autism to me. the way she is overly empathetic and compassionate to her own detriment and yet still has to have her hand held through articulating & dealing with that or putting the logical parts of empathy together

the way she absolutely fucking Explodes with excitement sometimes

the way in which she relates to cats, and her whole thing about having a hard time getting other people to understand her. these two things go hand in hand

there's something neurodivergent about her trying to connect with sprigatito by studying her and writing notes about her behavior lol

while this is kind of just on the account of her being an anime character and a protagonist at that, liko's facial expressions and body language can be pretty exaggerated sometimes which reminds me of my own body language, i'm cartoonishly animated in real life often LOL

so like basically dot is so obviously autistic to me it's like breathing but for liko it's kind of a hc i apply to her for projection purposes & fun but i think it's reasonable

and lastly so i'm not just talking about solely liko and dot for the millionth time,

ORIO!! honestly we don't even know that much about orio but the one episode where she was helping pokeball lady i forget the name of fix her machine. the really narrow attention to detail/seeing the smaller parts instead of the bigger picture. also her expertise in engineering contrasted with her struggling with tasks outside of that (like when she was trying to sew holes in the brave asagi and for the life of her could not do it so she called murdock for help lol)

and actually one more - while i don't necessarily headcanon amethio as autistic, i think it's a fun headcanon/au idea to not only give him a redemption arc but an autism unmasking arc at the same time. representation for all my repressed autistics out there. in my mind

-leon's mindset will always be applied on you because you're his second heart, you're his tough rock and you need to be taken care of!!

-HE KNOWS WHAT YOU'RE THINKING "affection? that's absurd people can still learn attentively and work efficiently without having to be coddled >:(" while yes in a sense its true—but sometimes you just don't realize that what you need is some time to be vulnerable and intimate, which can explain why your emotions feel a lot more heightened recently than usual (which he notices by the way). you've been tense for a while, and leon reasons that you can't just 'move on' from being overwhelmed with work stress and whatnot—you have to relieve it! but enough about theory.

-your hunger for food or affection is like a 7th sense to leon to be honest. while it's not an accurate intuition everytime, he's bound to think of you once every like two minutes.

-leon actually has very clear and high critical thinking skills. this means he is able to remember a lot of things about you even if he only notices them or you mention it once: this includes your comfort drink, where you like to be touched, hell maybe even the MBTI of your favorite character. and he ESPECIALLY knows what food you like. pad thai, sushi, oxtail, jerk chicken, cake, boba, YOU NAME IT HE KNOWS IF YOU LOVE IT OR NOT

-so when it actually came to asking you what you wanted, he'd send a text saying he's downtown and asking you 'what would you like, baby?'. he's careful with his words and doesn't say "do you want me to get you something on the way?" because it means he's giving you a choice >:( when the whole point is to spoil you because you deserve it.

-and if you answer with something vague like 'anything' HE DOESN'T MAKE YOU SPEAK FURTHER he'll just buy what he knows u like and keep the rest in the fridge if you dont wanna eat it :3 well that's what they're for, right?

"oh, my sweet.." his voice was quaint at the sight of you. leon tried his best to be silent when he entered the room, not wanting to sound like he was pitying you, but seeing you half-covered with comforters, mildly upset and your mind in a frazzle has his heart dropping a bit. you were probably thinking about so many things: meeting some deadlines, picking up this and that from the store, computing this... but you just couldn't organize your thoughts. but that's why leon was here.

your head moved to swivel his direction. "leon.." you smile at him weakly.

it was cold in the city tonight. leon places a hefty white plastic bag of your favorite on the nearby surface before he sits down in front of you from the edge of your bed. he takes the brief second of studying his lover's face before he pulls you into a comforting and warm hug. he can't help but pat the back of his sweet baby's head down, and you feel his lips barely nuzzle onto your ear as he mutters. "y're so good to me, baby. you know that?" leon reminds you before kissing the side of your head shortly. you tried to reciprocate it by giving him a nimble kiss on his cheek, which he gratefully accepts with an eager beam on his lips.

his hands slide down your arms in a soft stroke as he lets go of you gently. the rustling of the bed's layers being heard as leon moves a bit to reach for the hefty boxes of food, which he opens for you once he gives you take your utensil/s. leon's happy seeing you eat. it's a form of reassurance to him personally witnessing you getting the fill you deserve after a whole few days of being so busy and rushing everywhere. it's a calming sense to him as you both soak in comfortable silence while he watches you eat. he was caring less that it's 2 in the morning and caring more about the way the color on your face slowly vibrates back onto your features. you seem less tired, just by a tad percentage. it makes him smile to himself knowing he was able to take care of you. " 'm finished." you mumbled with a hum, feeling a little full and having to lie down. fullness makes you sleepy (and leon knows that!) so he has a subtle, cheeky little grin as he leans over and collects your legs with one arm, pulling you to make you lie on your back. he crawls over to lie down next to you, once again pulling you close to him while he wraps his arms around you— one patting and planted gently on your back while the other cradles your head close to his heart. just where you belong... "you tired, baby?" leon asked shortly and your little nod sufficed. his cheek gently rests against the side of the crown of your head. his touch is soft, it's sweet as he rubs and scratches down your back gently. he gently scruffles at your scalp with his other hand's fingertips, and the motions will send you to a hopefully revitalizing sleep ♡. he places a kiss on the top of your head, like a ribbon keeping its gift from falling apart :( he knows at this moment maybe you're thinking you don't deserve him. but that's so far from the truth.

TRULY!! THIS IS TANGENTIAL but this ask makes me smile BECAUUUSEEE... i've said it before but a very big part of my art process is connecting and communicating with the characters. making sure the characters i draw are authentic and feel like i'm drawing THE character (rather than presenting a drawing of the character) is one of my biggest artistic priorities. and to achieve that, i try to get into the mindset of the characters as much as i can. sometimes that's thinking like them, thinking of their mannerisms, and thinking of how they would react to me drawing them. i think of myself as a director telling them how to pose or what to look like, while also putting myself in their shoes and thinking how i would react to that

THIS IS A VERY CONVOLUTED WAY TO SAY some characters obviously take direction better than others. i think i'm mainly saying this because Daffy is my bread and butter, i have higher standards drawing him because it is extremely important that i get him right! so of course i'm going to struggle more in the process. but when this happens, i always chalk it up to him being "difficult" because it's certainly in character for him. of course he would be uncooperative! this is silly but it gives me a lot of amusement and also takes some of the edge off when i want to put my fist through the screen LOL

BUT YES thank you :) the good news is that i'm making progress! i've resigned myself to understanding that it's gonna take however long it takes. i'm only ever gonna review this once so i might as well make it count! likewise it's a very very important cartoon to me, so there's more to blab about so obviously that's going to take longer. when i was starting out i was getting 5 reviews out a day, but i need to remind myself that this entire project has exploded into something so much more than what it used to be in the 4 and a half years that i've been doing this HAHA.

1. yui would take so many habits from koku just because (ex. like talking so slow, staring off to the distance, death stare, etc.) he would most prob remind lower rank demon slayers to respect the heirarchy

2. mui would ramble so much shit to koku that sometimes koku can't keep up (ex. what happened during his missions, what he did today like what he ate, etc.)

3. mui is known to sleep heavily even to loud noises, so who knows yui would do the same, before they were demon slayers koku has to protect their asses from other demons attacking them.

4. there would be one game they would play with koku is try to guess which tokito twin is which, they have to look exactly like eachother and koku has to guess (for mui's left arm he would hide it in a long baggy sleeve), but koku would always guess correctly cuz of the see through world lmao

5. yui would mostly remind him of himself cause of how similar they are in some ways, thanks to that koku is much more harsher on yui when training (he doesn't know why but he guesses cause he only has one arm hehe)

6. koku is more softer w mui at times cuz of how he reminds him of yoriichi he would do things that would make him seem out of character with mui, like... a protective older brother 👀, koku doesn't really like how similar mui is to yoriichi but he keeps it to himself, also there might be times were koku freezes up over something mui said that really reminded of yoriichi 🥺

So for the first one, yuichiro would TOTALLY do that. All of the lowermoons are absolutely terrified of him because he is like a mini version of koku and if any of them act up he doesn't need all six eyes to death stare them. It shuts them up easily. I feel like he would also talk in fancy traditional words that confuse tf out of the hashiras + the kamaboko squad since koku talks like the sengoku period and well, yuichiro idolizes him.

2. This reminds me of the fact that muichiro would totally talk shit about people behind there back. And you know who hes telling it too? Our one and only number 1 dad! Kokushibo is just tired of hearing demonslayer corps gossip because he cant follow along.

3. Oh for sure. I bet he was also especially nervous when they went through final selection and he couldnt protect them. especially since they had to sleep during those seven days.

4. He would totally play along tho, so he would be like "hmmmm this is so difficult.....Yuichiro is on the left."

5. poor yuichiro but YES this exactly!! Koku would often be like "Your not strong enough to protect your bother" and "Your worthless if you let him die" to motivate him but also because it feels like he is talking to the child version of himself, and all the stuff he wants to say so things can turn out diffrently.

so two more of my dnd friends announced that they were dating each other recently and i had the thought,,, dnd could fix him(anakin) so like. imagine he has a huttese only game that he dms going on throughout his teenage years (maybe with childhood friend kitster) and then that friendship group implodes thanks to teenage drama. so then he gets into a group playing in basic (whether or not they meet due to dnd or this is canon au and so obi wan spends anakin’s teen years pretending he’s not jealous of the attention anakin gives to his dnd game is variable) and boom! this game has obi wan in it. and dnd has a lot of improv and acting so if their characters fall in love it doesn’t mean anakin and obi wan are in love, even though anakin having a fake sibling relationship with kitster or someone does mean that the two of them think of each other as kind of siblings. but obviously the only person allowed to be in love with anakin’s character is obi wans character. if anakin’s the dm then that means no one but obi wan is allowed an npc flirt so obi wans character has to be the Biggest Slut, but if anakin’s another player than that means anakin’s character is absolutely Not Allowed to Be A Slut and neither is Obi-Wan’s because the only one for him by now is anakin. (bonus points if it’s a dnd podcast like critical role so obi-wan sees shipping fanart of characters) for once anakin is not the crazy jealous one because he’s played dnd long enough that he knows any flirting is just practice for obikin. anakin is more worried about his friendship with vos than obi wan being an in game slut.

sorry, dnd anon here, forgot to let u know the basics of the game. basically, one person gets really into it and world builds a whole world with npcs and politics and a villain (bbeg) and becomes the dungeon master (dm) for either a single session (one shot) or a whole multi session story arc (called a campaign) while everyone else plays one single character and rolls the dice that the dm tells them to to see if they succeed or fail. sometimes the players come up with really wacky shit that the dm just has to like. deal with, and other times someone says something like “life needs things to live” and everyone lovingly mocks them for it. podcasts of people playing exist, and some of them have huge fandoms with while shipping cultures, and if u want to watch one to get familiarized with the game, i would recommend dungeons and drag queens by dimension 20 (2/2)

i need to preface this by saying i really don't know anything about dnd and the explanation you sent is really great but i still don't think i know anything about dnd. also i feel like a little part of anakin has to always have a crazy jealous inclination because (gestures to mustafar anakin rots scenes) that was formative to me when i watched it

maybe obi-wan's letting all of his jealousy flow into his character so he's being sorta unhinged in the game while anakin is being unhinged in real life. compromise!

no cus i totally understand your frustration, ive also quit splatfests for the moment until they get an overhaul

i suggest if you feel close to getting hateful to either shiver or shiver fans then maybe quit for a while for your own sake cus ive felt a lot better after doing so, im still really sensitive to negative comments towards frye or rude ones about shiver winning but taking some time for myself has made me feel infinitely better

ive been close to hating shiver before bc of how cocky and rude them and their fans can be but it doesnt really do anything but sour your enjoyment of the game more, so its really not worth it

i do have to say though, anyone who says "its just a game" reaaally needs to understand the frustration of people OTHER than them, sympathy is something a lot of people forget about when it comes to things that arent real life. just because it doesnt affect you doesnt mean everyone can shut off their attachment to the game or a character like a light switch; a lot of the time you dont know whats going on with them. i myself am really attached to frye cus i am hashtag autism creature and he brings me comfort, so anyone being rude to me about shiver winning really REALLY gets under my skin. its not entirely (if they were serious, if they werent then its not at all) their fault, but nintendo fixing the frustration of splatfests constantly keeling in one direction (which theyre supposed to do anyways but they havent) would definitely fix the issue. we need to find a way to have nintendo fix this, not attack anyone else for what bundle of pixels and text theyre attached to.

not everyone has really thick skin and if we want splatoon 3 to be more hospitable then we should try to cut down on the general splatfest bullassery in public spaces (being overly cocky and rude/blaming others in a way with no basis or truth behind it). its not something everyone can always do since we arent all perfect, but if we make steps in that direction then we could help more people enjoy the splatoon community rather than being eaten up by toxicity and spite

Casual Life and Relationship Headcanons (Gang Orca, Hound Dog)

Authors Note: I like writing for underrated characters. It makes me sad and a little mad when the characters I love don’t get the attention they deserve! So, it’s up to me and the community to fix it! Anyway enjoy some headcanons!

Gang Orca (Kugo Sakamata):

I think he has two U’s in his name by the way. It says so on his character sheet. But I prefer using one U in his name.

Waking up and seeing your orca husbando in bed is like heaven to you.

You love to cuddle closely to his chest and hear his heart beat.

Kugo loves having you in his arms and snuggled close to his body.

If you wake up, you aren't getting out of bed until at least 15 minutes has past by.

When you wake up, you kiss his rostrum. How ADORABLE!

Your foreheads also bump into each other lovingly. It's his version of a kiss or a sign of his affection towards you.

Doesn't matter if your making cereal, coffee, waffles, or whatever. Kugo will always wrap his big arms around you and nuzzle his rostrum to your neck.

"I love you more than the sea, my seashell."

Kugo in pajamas is so adorable!

He will usually just wear shorts and a plain white t-shirt to bed though.

Sometimes he will wear the shorts that you got him for his birthday recently. The shorts have orca's on them and ONLY wears them in private.

Kugo will usually go to bed shirtless so you can touch his muscular body, but sometimes a shirt will stay on.

The man is so wholesome. He is so gentle with you and it's very adorable.

You guys will cuddle on the couch and watch a movie. You can watch whatever you want except for VERY mature movies. Kugo dislikes those.

If you catch or hear about Kugo as Gang Orca swearing at a student. He's in it for the long haul of talking you out of it.

Fun Fact: In My Hero One's Justice 2, Gang Orca calls Inasa Yoarashi a "little shit." Watch your language Kugo!!!

You forgive him in the end, but remind him just because he's teaching a class and is in charge doesn't mean he can be ruthless and call people after swear words.

Kugo knows what you're saying, but he says its part of holding his reputation and students need to learn the hard way around.

"Promise me you will at least stop calling them after swear words Kugo?

"No promises, but I'll try for you."

This man has captured your heart, so you'll forgive him. You give him a kiss on his rostrum as thanks.

If you get in an argument with him, he's usually the one who tries to die down the tense atmosphere and will try to find a solution to the problem.

He won't yell at you. But one day if he does, he regrets it a lot and will apologize and will even get you something nice.

Ever since you got in a relationship with him, he starts to go out a little more often with you when he's not on hero business.

You can find his causal outfit design by Horikoshi. Like I said in my Proposal Headcanons. This man is chill when he's not on hero business.

Going shopping with Mr. Whale is so awesome. You hold hands, while picking out groceries.

Oh yeah, the kids are afraid of him, but when you convince them that he's really nice. He gets cute nicknames from the kids.

"Sorry Mr. Whale, have fun with your girlfriend!"

He just blushes some shades of red and looks away embarrassed. The big softie...

After a long day, you both like to start a bath and bathe in each other's presence.

You both like to just sit in the tub as your head rests against his chest and his big arms are around your waist.

Not often, but he can do small spurts of water with his blow hole to tease you. It just makes you laugh, and he just enjoys seeing you happy.

If you see Shishido in public. Be prepared for a bunch of insults.

Hound Dog (Ryo Inui):

Furry boy!!!!!!

The man sleeps shirtless all the time. He likes it when you pet him and when your hands go through his fur.

Your face is going to be smelly and wet because this guy likes licking you a lot! He does have a dog quirk after all.

Got a paper cut? Lick.

Kissing? Boop the snoot and lots of licking.

He's just going to lick all of your problems away.

I recommend that you touch his hair a lot. He loves it.

So, you should consider giving him belly rubs. He loves them a lot, and you could use it as a nice way to torture him.

Inui can be a little forceful in your relationship at times, but he’s trying to improve on being more gentle around you.

He gets upset easily, but not as much around you. Your presence is calming and he knows he can vent out his frustration to you.

He vents his frustration in doggy noises, which you find very cute.

It’s a little hard to find out what he’s saying in his dog language. So, you have to calm him down so he can speak in his normal language.

Although, every time you hear Inui speaking doggy language. You start to slowly understand what he’s trying to say.

You bet your quirk with being able to easily communicate with animals has something to do with it.

Even though Inui can be mad. He would never intentionally hurt you. If he did, he would be mad at himself for it.

Any kind acts that you do would result in some part of your body being licked, gifts, or something special he wants to do for you.

You can find his causal outfit design by Horikoshi. He has a bit more of a street style to him.

He loves to watch soccer on multiple occasions. He will even sometimes plan a date to a soccer game.

He won’t force you to go to a soccer game. Just politely decline and you both will find something else to do.

His tough demeanor is not really there when you two hang out. Your presence calms him down. If he does get a little riled up just pet his hair, he’ll start to calm down.

Going shopping with him is wonderful. Loves holding your hand and knowing that you’re always there.

Make-out sessions are nice and definitely an intimate moment between you two.

He does get jealous!

Watch out dudes, if Inui sees them flirting with you or touching you more than just a hand shake he’s coming!

He wants to tear them to pieces! You can fix that by petting him and telling him that you’ll only be his.

Society may look at him as a caged animal, but he’s just this sweet, loving person.

He wants to protect you, and will always just be a phone call or text message away.

Bonus:

Hearing him whine is just so… freaking cute!

Give him kisses and huggies, and he’ll feel better.

Cuddling also helps, make that sadness go away!

➻ given everything from his status at birth, to his surname, to the obviously-branded clothes he likes to wear, it would be the understatement of the century to say that AYATO has quite a lot to lose — especially considering his ever-so-mysterious business trips that he happens go to on so often.

➻ on the outside, you and him seem to make the very definition of a perfect couple. he's sweet on you, often bringing home gifts after his long days at work, and every night the cctv system catches how you open the door to greet him with a smile. there's no shortage of whispers about that guy kamisato and his spouse — which seemed more than a little amusing to him, especially considering how your "relationship" is, among many things, a business contract of sorts.

➻ he found out about you through work connections, funnily enough, but as far as his knowledge goes, you're just a civilian who happened to need protection — and so, your agreement was born. you'll be under his care as a member of the kamisato clan, and he'll have you to keep his sister company while he's away for spy work, and help him keep his cover. though... you don't know about that second part.

➻ something he's beginning to find a little odd, though, is that another spy from a rival organisation seems to be even more of a thorn in his side than usual, lately. he'd spend days investigating a target and finding a good stake-out location... to find someone else already there, waving oh-so-pleasantly, oh-so-frustratingly at him.

➻ he's rather reluctant to admit how much he bickers with them, and even less likely to admit that he rather enjoys it, sometimes. even through the voice-disguising device, there's something to these encounters, and the way he hears his codename cooed through his comms that he finds oddly endearing — and more infuriating than anything he's had to deal with in his life.

➻ though... something about them and the gruff tenderness with which they tug bandages tighter around his wounds reminds him a little of you.

➻ but he comes home, smile pleasant as always, though his footsteps may be a little heavy — and listens to you talk about your day at work: oh, you were really early for a meeting earlier, and it was so awkward with just you and one other person there... his smile only widens when he hears about what you and ayaka have been up to lately, too.

➻ as tired — and annoyed — as he may be, and as much of an odd coincidence it is that your mannerisms happen to remind him of his annoying coworker, watching you two scuttle into the kitchen to bring out some baked goods recipe you found online for him to taste makes him feel like his pretend family has more weight to it than he initially thought.

➻ while it seems to many that TIGHNARI decided to settle down after getting married, that was very much not the case. he simply adapted to a... work from home lifestyle, he'll say — whether that refers to the papers he goes through in the living room after seeing you off for work and collei off at school, or the locked study at the end of the hall that he shuts himself into for hours on end.

➻ much like ayato's case, your "marriage" began as a mutually beneficial agreement. he wouldn't have to choose between his very secretive r&d work and looking after collei, and you... well, he isn't sure exactly what you gain out of this arrangement, since it seems very biased in his favour.

➻ but he can't quite complain, he supposes. especially since collei seems to really like you, given how often he can hear you two laughing from the kitchen—hey, that's the salt, not the sugar!—and how you help her with phrases she can't quite seem to grasp, and how you two always walk home together from the station on the rare days that your schedules align.

➻ there's also the peculiar "lunchbox incident," as collei calls it, where she clung to you for a week after a business trip of yours — ah, he's normally so careful about where he puts his mushroom samples, but perhaps the mostly-empty house put him a little too at ease... you had laughed it off once you got home, and loathe as he is to admit it, the sound of your laugh and your scolding voice alike made the whole scene feel a little more domestic than he was used to.

➻ tighnari will admit that he was more than a little suspicious of you at first, but after seeing how you act around him and collei alike, he sagely decides to keep quiet about how your button-ups always seem to be a little too white and smell a little too much like bleach — so long as you keep quiet about the clinical, chemical smells coming from his study, of course.

➻ that's not to say he doesn't have his suspicions, though. it may be how smoothly your tone seems to shift from your work calls to calling everyone over for dinner, or how the little engraved logo by your phone is the same logo in the corner of all the documents filed neatly into the false bottom of his drawer. or maybe it's the simple fact that he doubts an office worker would come home covered in bruises so often.

➻ but each time you come home he's waiting for you on the couch with your favourite drink and a first aid kit, always muttering about what kind of asshole coworkers you must have if you always come home in these conditions. and in these moments, where it's just you and him in the living room, the late-night radio turned to the lowest volume with your occasional comments of, "ow, tighnari, i'm delicate!" he wonders, almost uncharacteristically, what it would be like for you to call him your husband.

Takao

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

The way he turns any potential bad situations or feelings into something beautiful and positive. It's something i truly admire about him. My main examples would be his attitude toward Midorima, Kuroko and Akashi.

When he learned the guy he wanted to beat was on his team he accepted it and changed his goal from becoming a better player to be recognized a worthy opponent to be recognized as a worthy ally instead.

When he faces Kuroko, his perfect mirror, and loses. Instead of feeling resentful, he aims to be even better the next time they face each other.

When he sees Akashi ability as a point guard, instead of being frightened or anxious like all the other point guard, he show pure awe and admiration. Jealousy is the kind of sneaky feeling that you can't help but feel sometimes, but it doesn't bring any positivity or drive to be better, it only makes you unhappy. But Takao never falls into this trap.

Even when he sees Midorima and Akashi doing their special three-point play (the Sky Direct 3P Shot, the official name is so dorky i love it) during the Vorpal Swords match, he doesn't show jealousy, even though he himself thought he would be jealous to see it. Instead, he is happy.

All of this speak a lot about who he is as a person. He truly has a good heart and he is the kind of person i genuinely aim to be more like

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

Well, I just realized that I technically answered that with the first question, so instead I'll give you my second favorite canon thing about him.

I love how accepting he is. Midorima is a difficult person to get along with, and as Takao himself said 'one has to be flexible to keep up with Midorima’s weird habits'. And yet, Takao immediately accepted him. Although at first he made fun of his obsession with horoscopes, it never came from a bad place, Takao just laugh at everything.

Plus, he doesn't just accept it, he actually finds it endearing. He is so precious and the world needs more people like him.

18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?

His relationship with Takao, I honestly don't even think I need to elaborate on this, TakaMido is loved wholeheartedly by the fandom, whether platonically or romantically, and it's 100% deserved. There are probably a thousand essays on them and their dynamics, so I'll spare you my own awkward ramblings. But in short, their way of accepting each other, of pushing each other to be better and their dynamic, everything is perfect.

Who wouldn't want a partnership relationship like this? The way they support and trust each other is truly admirable.

13. What's an emoji, an emoticon and/or any symbol that reminds you of this character or you think the character would use a lot?

This one 🌸, for her hair color and the sad scene under cherry blossom trees with Kuroko when the team is falling apart. I also think she would use it a lot.

It's really difficult to answer. I had to limit myself to only the pictures drawn by Fujimaki-sensei otherwise it would have been impossible. I think it's this one, because seeing him happy and surrounded by his friends makes me happy

25. What was your first impression of this character? How about now?

I honestly can't remember, it was almost 10 years ago now. But i know i liked him from the start.

And now, well, I've drawn him a hundred times in the last 6 months and done a whole countdown to his birthday, exhausting myself to the point of getting sick. He is on my mind 24/7. I spend an unhealthy amount of time talking about him on Twitter.

In short, I like him a lot. But since this post is already quite long and I have been asked several questions about him on this ask games, I will go into more detail in my other posts.

YES I think about this so much. Like literally the first thing that came to mind when Murolo mentioned that was "wait. Mista though."

(For reference/anyone who hasn't read PHF, this is the quote in question:)

Obviously, by the time of Purple Haze Feedback, Mista has a "hollow pit inside," caused by the grief of watching his loved ones die and, very likely, having no other support mechanisms to process it (he's isolated from Trish, and his relationships with Giorno and Fugo are rocky, at best). At the same time, I think the Sex Pistols being a colony stand has to stem from something further back - after all, they've been a colony since he obtained them years prior (and his backstory seems to imply that, even before the stand arrow, they'd existed on some level, though they hadn't yet manifested).

If I can refer back to that Fugo and Mista post, I think what split the Sex Pistols might have been his very OCD-coded thought patterns. Just as All Along the Watchtower (a stand made from a deck of cards, which puts on performances with the "stage name" The Watchtower Troupe) reflects Murolo's belief that the world around him is flimsy and unstable, and that he can't trust anyone and must put on facades to avoid being betrayed; and how he claims Metallica, Bad Company, and Harvest reflected their own users' "hollow pits;" the Sex Pistols are another facet of Mista's life that give him routines and structure, even if it seems irrational to others. He actively has to take care of the Sex Pistols, feed them when they need to be fed, keep them in line behaviorally, etc, or he'll be defenseless, and tangible harm could come to him. Forgetting to, say, give the Pistols lunch would be, in Mista's mind, no different than taking the fourth slice of cake; in both cases, performing (or not performing) a specific, seemingly unrelated action puts him in danger.

The other thing that's interesting about the Sex Pistols, though, is that they're completely sentient. Historically, we see this with characters that have a strong resolve: Koichi, Trish, Giorno, and so on. At the same time, there's characters whose stands behave independently because they lack control over themselves - namely Fugo, to the point where Giorno expresses fear that Fugo dying without coming to terms with his anger/finding self-worth could cause Purple Haze to run wild like Notorious B.I.G. In a way, I think Mista's both; he has incredible resolve, yes, but it takes the smallest, most arbitrary thing to destroy that confidence. From his manga profile:

So the Sex Pistols are sentient, but unlike Echoes Act III, Spice Girl, or Gold Experience Requiem - who may act outside their user's conscious wishes, but always for the best - the way they behave is sometimes to Mista's detriment. They'll get distracted, fight with each other, feed into Mista's paranoia, and so on.

Going back to that Murolo quote does make me wonder, though - based on his theory as to why a stand splits into a colony, why aren't some other stands split? It would make a lot of sense for Purple Haze, Moody Blues, and Voodoo Child to be, for instance, because I'd say that Fugo, Abbacchio, and Sheila E all have their own "hollow pits" that shape them as people. Beyond Vento Aureo/PHF, it'd even make sense for Polnareff, Kakyoin, and Jolyne, off the top of my head. I'd even argue, if Keicho's obsession with his ambition is what made Bad Company a colony stand, shouldn't Giorno have a colony stand? Then again, maybe this implies something about Giorno - that, even if he tries to hide it, the people in his life are more important than his dream. Or maybe I'm just reading too much into this.

But thank you for bringing this up, this Murolo line lives in my brain rent-free and I've been looking for an excuse to talk about it with regard to Mista forever lol
