Oh, I love Summer so much, I just had to make some more CN art for it. 🧡

It’s such a beautiful day today and everyone is at the beach to have some fun. (And so was I earlier today, lol.)

This piece and a follow-up night one (coming soon) were inspired by the 2009 “CN Summer in Italy” bumpers.

Ok i think there are two things that really get me about synthetic red diamond and the first is that he is just that -- a synthetic diamond. He's a freaking diamond!!! Based on the steven universe lore I know, there's normally only the four! And he's not one of them, not part of the diamond authority, bc he's a fusion and it sounds like ren/emerald and martyn/ruby were kinda planning a bit of a coup (or at least some kinda treason) and the thing is that, if they did try to take over, being a diamond is gonna give their claims to homeworld a lot more credibility. Like i could totally see them being a major threat to the DA. Two non-diamond gems being able to fuse into a diamond throws SO many interesting wrenches into the existing gem heirarchy.

And then, putting aside the gem politics aspect, I am obsessed with the fact that like. Ok so they're a red diamond because of the red king, right? But ren's not the red diamond. The fusion is. Implying that the red king isn't ren. The red king is something that only exists with the two of them together. There cannot be a king without his hand. and THAT take on third life is giving me so many thoughts that I don't think I can fully flesh out yet since I haven't watched all the way through the dogwarts perspectives but Aaadjkgdsjkksgjb

Electric core this ice core that firecore blah blah blah. All of these ideas are great but unoriginal. I propose a new idea:

Introducing New Life core

You may be asking, "What's a life core?"

Allow me to explain a life core allows its host to create. This could be anything from inanimate objects to something akin to poison ivy level (or a darker mad scientist Dr. Victor Frankenstein level)

So I propose a Fic in which Danny himself has a life core and uses it to be poison ivy without the Eco-terrorism or he fights someone with a life core I don't know this idea came to me randomly and I must write about it can we normalize the life core?

Also just imagine the confrontation between the bats and the birds and Danny, him having to explain that no he isn't a poison ivy clone and no he will not use his powers for Eco-terrorism please stop asking

Additionally King Danny turning pariah's haunt into something akin to pink diamonds garden and the Steven Universe movie covered wall to wall and pretty Vines and flowers that may or may not be fluorescent
